✓ Left in the dark.Visually it is a great game. However, the story is far too short and the puzzles are too repetitive. There are a couple of head scratchers but once you get through them, they seem to repeat themselves. There seems to be a lot of sections where the character is just running from area to area without anything going on, no people/dogs/cameras/lights.... nothing. It’s almost like the “original” story board was too short so you added size to the universe to make the game seem longer. Besides the story being too short, there really isn’t much of a “story” to this game. I feel like I have to make one up as I’m going along; but If You’re going to ask a premium price ($6.99 is pretty high for this market place) then I feel there should have been at least some back story.... how and why the world has come to be. ✓ Exciting but in the end, simple enoughUnfortunately for a game where the only two controls is ‘move forever in the same direction’, and ‘interact with environment’, it proves to be a quick game to beat. Puzzles cleverly designed, absolutely, which prove fun and momentarily challenging, but soon with only two controls to choose from, you more or less pick it up very quickly and with some smart thinking allows you to solves the puzzles with speed. ✓ BugsWhen i started playing the game, it would freeze up and i would have to restart the game. i’ve tried downloading the game multiple times ambit it still freezes up during levels of the game. ✓ Great game but has some major problems.I absolutely love this game. The atmosphere is amazing. The amount of detail gone into every single inch of this game is beautiful. The art style is simple but personally I wouldn’t change it for the world. It has a dark and anxious feeling to it. Over all the game is beautiful. However just because the game has a good story and great detail and art style doesn’t mean it’s a perfect game. I do know that this game was not originally for mobile. However I don’t find that to be an excuse for this. The controls are all over the place. It is often hard to control the character without falling, jumping in the wrong direction, or just dying. Needless to say this ruined the game for me. I was not able to play the game as it was intended and the atmosphere was ruined in many of the parts. ✓ Controls driving me crazy(Apple tv) Stuck in the bottom on the water in a submarine trying to break a wall. I have managed to ‘break through’ other barriers but have no idea how i did it!!! Now I am in front of cracked wall which I have managed to barge twice BUT again I have no idea how I barged the wall. There is only one button, I have double clicked, held and clicked, moved forward while clicking.... WTF? I f’n hate when a game has you stuck, not trying to figure out the puzzles, but stuck trying to figure out how the developers have designed the controls. I was hoping that when the blob landed outside on the grass by the water that the boy would jump out and be free. ✓ Was enjoying it but now its a grindI was lured into buying this game and after around a day playing i can say its ok, the art is good but it never changes much so it could be rated higher if you progressed to other scenes. I’m just bored with these long hair weirdos in the water now, shame because it has so much promise and is enjoyable to begin with. I love the puzzles apart from the mindless chasing ones, the hardest and dumbest. Wish i could give more than 2 stars but i’d have asked for a refund if i had known i’d had purchased as an in app purchase, 6.99 is high in my opinion, esp when my ipad mini 2 isn't supported! ✓ Brilliant game! But…So I bought this after being a big fan of limbo. The game play is much the same, as is the dark atmospheric setting. They are both equally creepy. The scenery and characters are brought to life with the addition of more colour and detail, however bleakly dark and faded they are. And the sound track is great too! The whole thing is really immersive and draws you in to its strange and eerie world. BUT…. I flew through it in a matter of hours, the puzzles weren’t as challenging and for the most part it was all a bit too easy. And the ending is just a bit of a flop. It felt like they’d had enough by then and just wanted to get the game out and be done with it. For such a quick game I would have preferred something of a more satisfying payoff for my efforts. I don’t dispute the skill and effort that’s gone into this is worth the £5.99. And it really is a great game. But it’s all over too quickly and doesn’t feel like you’re getting a lot of play time for the price! PLAYDEAD, no doubt I will buy the next game as well. ✓ I’m a bit confused!As somebody who has never come across the previous app, limbo, which I believe is a similar premise to this one, I was intrigued by all the raving reviews and decided to download it. As many other reviews have said, I have been faced with a ‘We are sorry INSIDE is not compatible with your device’ message. However, I have learnt that you are able to interact with the character on the screen and you can make him put his device down and pick up the phone etc so I thought perhaps it was part of the game. Having checked on here I am now resigning to the fact that it probably isn’t, and my device actually isn’t compatible but I’ve given it 3 stars because just that screen alone has provided me with a good hours worth of entertainment! ✓ It’s good just two thingsIt’s a good game and it’s fun solving the puzzles but some of them are to hard like the barn one were you have to open the door and let the ducklings in to get the box off, and it’s also quite intense there are like people, and dogs that chase you and sometimes you can barely get away. ✓ Will not run.The info states it will run on iPad Air 2 or higher. It won’t run on my iPad Air 2, instead coming up with a message ‘not compatible with this device’. *update. The developer has been in touch saying I need an iPad Mini 4 or above for 2Gb of RAM, I’ve an iPad Air 2 with 2 Gb of available RAM which is easily the equivalent of the iPad Mini 4 and fits the criteria for this game. The game pre-purchase info also states this, so the requirements are misleading in this case. I still can’t run this game on this device, and the requirements still state that I should be able to do so. *further update. The developer just keeps sending me the same response, that they can’t do anything, I need a device with at least 2Gbs of RAM, which as already explained, I have. It’s a shame, I was looking forward to playing this, I’ll purchase another game elsewhere. ** further update. The developer has responded that I should be able to use this application on my device and that I should contact them direct. I did. It doesn’t work, after reporting this, I’m subjected to the same response that it is only available for an iPad Air 2 or above. I have that, with the relevant memory, yet I’m the problem. ✓ What was the point in all of that?Pros: The graphic and sound of this game were amazing. The move of the character and the surrounding makes the game look realistic. The addition of the sound makes your heart jump in near misses and chase situations. Cons: The lighting is too dark. In some scenes I cannot see anything even with my phone on maximum brightness. The controlling of the character is frustrating, like while you’re a rope swinging or activating a box and try to activate another. At the end of the game I was like, so the boy will be trapped in a blob like that forever? That’s it? I was hoping the whole place would blow up when the blob created havoc. I wanted to see revenge for what these evil people did. I was disappointed. Hence the 3 star rating. Love solving the puzzles, but the ending was bad..ChoicejohnnyVersion: 1.0.6

✓ Fun for a few hoursIn chronological order - I didn’t particularly like the lack of story, context or purpose, but the gameplay is simple, fun and keeps you playing. You kind of figure out some sort of story where your character is trying to escape something/someone, but I felt it needed more. The puzzles are mostly excellent, you really feel a sense of achievement when you crack them. A couple (not too many thankfully) rely on exact timing and/or accuracy, which I don’t mind until it’s taking me 10-12+ attempts to solve a problem you know the answer to, but just can’t get the swipes/clicks/aim right. The low point for me was the ending - umm... I was taught that if I had nothing nice to say, then say nothing - enough said! I enjoyed it, but doubt I’ll play it again to find the hidden challenges etc. At half the price it would be a great game, at £6.99 it’s ok..EepipVersion: 1.0.4

✓ Great Game but worst endingThe game is fun and almost worth the price for those who like puzzle games. The story is ok, nothing very exciting but a simple idea of a kid who is trying to escape being caught. The ending is blah as the game just ends without any conclusion or anything to explain what is going on. Overall an ok game but overpriced. I would say it is worth 2.99 and no more than 3.99 as I have played much better similar games for 2.99 or less and not 6.99. Based on my review the developer contacted me stating the price reflects the time and effort put into making the game, which is a good point but from a consumer end point, the question remains whether the game is worth 6.99 and my answer is unfortunately no as I had stated that comparable games are sold for much less. ✓ It’s a step backLIMBO is one of my favorite games. That was a true art I put 3 stars for “Inside” because I want developers to pay attention on my review. Don’t get me wrong. “Inside” is a great game and I was really excited playing it for the first time. But it’s a step back from the experience which I had with “LIMBO” Inside is not the game which I expected to see…:( This is the reasons why I took out two stars from my review: First is for the puzzles. It’s silly. The game is too easy. It’s not challenging at all. I’ve never stucked in any place of the game. Looks like developers make it for the bigger auditory. Second comes from the first. The game became boring after time. Only first locations are full of action. Most of the time your walking to the right side of the screen (sometimes you can find a secret - then just walk to the left side of the screen *haha* -_-) Non-stop walking, swimming, jumping, climbing and very very sometimes it can be creative but silly puzzles. Sometimes I feel as bored so I kill myself in some new ways just to see how he will day First locations makes me feel fully there because of the 3D surroundings. Next locations almost don’t have it The game is creative. Locations are creative. Sound, graphics atmosphere is great. Great potential - not fully realized. How come? ✓ Cool, yet overpriced.This was a pretty cool game. Nice graphics, but I was more intrigued by the grimness of the demo. I was hooked and needing more after the first encounter. It gets tougher as you progress, and you’ll run into the “this is impossible” scenarios, but trial and error and decent problem solving skills will get you through it. I played for 3 days. Maybe 15 minutes the first day, 3 hours or so the second day, and 1 hour the third day until it was complete. There are so many unanswered questions. The key question being what the hell is going on??! It’s a terrible feeling to watch a show or movie, read a book, or play a game and, at the end, be left clueless. A short comic at the end showing what happened to get to the game’s present would have been perfect. Even with that though, the ending needs to be cleared up somehow. I feel like I enjoyed playing through it all so much and wanting to know the end game so badly, only to get to the end and be let down. An editor said “the game was meant to be experienced and not understood” but who wants to NOT understand something after playing through it for all that time AND spending a meal worth of money for it??
