✓ Crystals......Been playing about a month now. Game has been pretty engaging. You don’t have to sit on it and micro manage everything, but there is enough to be able to sit and play for awhile at a time. The problems that you quickly find though, are the build times and crystals. Build times quickly escalate from 1 day up to a month in the blink of an eye! However, if you’re upgrading your station, you can atleast do other upgrades while you wait for a month to pass. The real problem is crystals. You can increase your production of minerals and energy with upgrades, but your crystal production is ABYSMAL! And guess what takes crystals? Everything! So that leaves crystals as the games main source to get your hard earned dollars. TL;DR: Fun game. Prepare to wait for upgrades and crystals..Version: 1.5.7

✓ Good Game, but needs some fixingOverall the game I would have to say is good, but it fails in some areas where it desperately needs to succeed whilst having a Stellaris esc feel. First of all, the galaxies in game feel so small and you can scroll out the map until it’s almost pitch black. Second of all, the game has issues with alliances such as dismantling the HQ and a need for trading plus allying between alliances. Issues as well with bigger factions being able to take down smaller ones instantly as soon as they form. The lack of an ability to have different accounts for each separate Galaxy while making sense kind ruins it a little. Overall if these issues plus the amount of loading errors, translation issues, and some smaller things like the AI and the tutorial need fixing. Things this game needs are stuff like Faction enemies attacking your fleets and such which would give a feeling as if they were actual enemies, like say if they had space stations which you could destroy. Small things like this would make the game feel so much more unique overall..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Awesome, Just AmazingI think it’s about time I can write a review, so here goes. This game just really surprised me. There are so few games like this out there, but this one has so many more features and more just keep on coming! All the details in alliances, control over fleets, very well balanced resources(currency), and a very well made completely customizable system from building stations to designing warships. It is very easy to save currency and also very easy to develop your empire (no better word for it). This is literally the game I have been trying to find for a long time now. There is only one slight thing I noticed. When I wanted to use my beginner jump I left my alliance but I couldn’t jump into that alliances sector,(Because I was stupid since it doesn’t let you do that). The problem was it didn’t let me back into the alliance even though it was an open/no-restriction alliance. But seriously, absolutely incredible. ✓ Good game but needs more developmentI’m impressed with the graphics, the ship building, I like the alliance tools and resources, and the fun you can have with this game. To make the game better, the game makers need to add a lot more solar systems. Galaxies are big places but ours is rather small and crowded with lots of other players crowding up the solar systems all trying to find resources. Also, the game makers could create solar systems with more variety, some with more planets, moons, asteroids, add comets and other space features. And 25 days to go up from level 4 to level 5 is too extreme. Build times needs to come down and be far more reasonable. ✓ How does this not lag!?!?!?I bought this game thinking it would lag and crash like most big games like this however, I started to play and, oh my god, was I happy. Although it is hard to find a place to make your own, it is very addictive and easy to join a group or even make your own but it is quite expensive to do so. ✓ Great gameI know what a lot of people say. “This is a pay to win game.” But I can assure you this is not the case. I am station level 6 (the max level) and I have not spent a dollar on this game. This game is sort of like coc in space. Don’t expect any of the higher level upgrades to come fast. If you are waiting on an upgrade there are plenty of other fun things to do in this game. Like battle pirates, scan planets, and do the events. Just as a little tip I would recommend doing the new commander event (the Tormenter ship that you get is a good starter ship). ✓ Fantastic GameOne of the best FTP MMO experiences I have had on a tablet. Hats off to the devs for the balanced play. It is the first type of this game I have played where a hard working FTP player or low spender can stay in contention with the bigger spenders. ... Update, several months later.... I am not a big spender, but am still well in contention. There is no tiered system for troops (fleets in this case), only marginal gains from upgrades so several smaller players can take on a larger player. The whales (big spenders) never get too far ahead due to game balancing including exponential build times and caps on the sizes and number of fleets that can be put into play. Alliance purchase systems are hugely generous, so an active player will never feel pressured to spend a lot of real money on speed ups and items for movement and repairs to stay in the game. all in all, a great game where a low spending or ftp player who is active and has learn’t the games systems can stay a top 20 player..Version: 1.5.8

✓ Great gameIt’s a great game and the concept is awesome. As a strategy lover I definitely would recommend it. The only issues that got created for me were the bugs and starting out. A game like this is expected to have bugs and faults it’s understandable but one thing that I have to say is a great positive is that the developers work on them as soon as possible. Starting out in this game can be quite difficult, the tutorial that you go through isn’t a great help at all. My recommendation would be to join an alliance and ask a lot of questions, it’s ok because everyone’s gone through it. There are other small issues but nothing so outlandish. The game itself is a great game, fun interactive and well designed. One of the best strategy games on the App Store that isn’t just another clone and the best sci-fi game hands down. Unique features. However be warned that it is lacking a little in the polish department and could use some tender love and care but I have zero doubts that the developers will work on that. Edit: Specifically the ship editing and creation area. I have no idea what the different weapons or defenses do and their differences. I can’t find the information readily available. The fact you can create ships is alone more than making up for this fact though and the number of features that this game has is mind boggling in the best ways. Mostly the difficulty in finding information on some features is where it lacks polish in my opinion such as the differences between pirates and elites. ✓ Great Game. Could do with lower build time and less inflated prices.The game looks amazing! It’s fun, easy to play, and can soak you up for hours, and hours! I play in a alliance that is pretty powerful for our server. We don’t like to abuse our power and help nurture lesser alliances, this way we get more people playing and being online, and we get the plus of some new allies. It’s slightly realistic which is a cool part. I love the chat, I read some comments complaining about it but that’s certain servers. Some servers have very nice chats that are pleasant to be in. Most alliances sometimes have chat rules which do not allow you to use racism and anything insulting to ethnicity, culture, and sexual orientation. This is mostly to keep people from targeting them because of harassment. And the strictest alliance I know which does enforce these rules, happens to be able to wipe any other alliance. The prices are inflated a lot, as well as build time. I see when these are mentioned developers don't commonly respond, but this is their game and can do as they like with it. Got to put food on the table some how. But please do consider lowering building times for the sake of your players sanity. And possibly increasing the amount people can help and or lowering the price of speed ups. But as I said earlier this is a great game and is worth playing. Goodnight. I realize developers gotta eat and pay for UNITY and UNREAL ENGINE - but daaaaaaayyuuuummmnn. That said I don’t mind fishing around the galaxyn and growing my space station slowly. The latest Galaxy War event caused players to lose hundreds of hours of station development and wiped out fleets. Build times are horrendous in this game and if ships did survive they will be stuck in repair for weeks. Game play was impossible; couldn’t jump station, shield station, direct fleets because player screens froze, players apps crashed and now developers are blaming it on players networks rather then their increasingly unstable product. This is an expensive game to play at the elite level and players are losing hundreds of dollars of investment in one battle. Most mobile games can’t hold my attention for more than five minutes, but this one has managed to keep me around for a week so far. It can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, and it feels overly simplistic as well (not enough features). I get the impression it’s still in beta, however, so I’m expecting the devs to add a lot more features in the future. For example, there are so many features that could be added to expand on how alliances work and can be organized/managed. Something I think the devs have done right is how easy it is to save up premium currency by earning it through achievements without making it unnecessary to actually buy it. I would also appreciate if the devs updated their progress on the game more often if that’s possible. It needs more levels to building, higher space stations than lvl6. If they could go up to 24-30 lvls and deeper customization of ships or space stations would make the game more popular. I dropped money on the stater pack which helped improve the gameplay but it could use a system of trading with other players. Improving the profile selection of players, alliance members, trading with players, friend list, better messaging system. ALSO THE SCANS STOP THE PACE OF THE GAME. There is very little action that goes on. It needs pirates to attack players, more often. Scans keep stories or missions apart if you run out of them and it shouldn’t be limited. ✓ It’s okay not the best still has a lot of problemsThis game had potential to be one of the best, sadly, it’s not. It has failed to make its mark and because of that it has missed its ultimate goal! Nova Empire has been ruined by people who do not play the game properly, so many people want to be leaders and create alliances unfortunately that is ruining the game because there are too many. Worst of all every new server that comes out is filled by the same people on alternative accounts, thus creating the same problems and issues over and over and over again. This is just my opinion everybody has a right to their own as well, I think the game would be slightly improved if you were allowed to create your own universe and allow only those you want in the game friends mainly. I think it would also give the game a bit of a boost if the only enemy you had to face was the Pirates themselves. I love RTS games I’m a massive fan of command and conquer series so that is the reason I’m giving it a five star however, I still hope that the creators of this game read these reviews especially this one as I truly believe the suggestions I made would improve the game largely.Version: 2.1.6

I only have in real game play 87 days of play time over the last couple of years. Plus the biggest time is build outs. Just after getting to level 6 shipyards it will literally take over 386 days of your actual time to build it. And that’s just ( 1 ) shipyard. Some , well most of us have at least 25+ shipyards for 1 base. There’s people on here that have farms and they more than 10 of them just for more resources to gather. So, the game will build while your off the game which is great, but time is a BIG FACTOR. The wars between different solar systems is the best part of the game..Version: 2.13.0

Normally there is a warning but I guess I missed it. After I got decimated, reduced to 10% fleet strength, I considered restarting. But I stuck with and I am glad. It feels more satisfying rebuilding using only my knowledge and skill without relying on the generous gifts you get to help you get started. That said, it is only a matter of time before the pay to win players are strong enough to destroy protected space and force me to switch to PVP mode. Alliances need to be monitored as GEC won in wars sometimes go to Elite 1000000 players while regular players are kicked out one day before Payout! Naughty generals are playing favourites during galaxy wars even targeting their own small players! Otherwise the good Alliances have a 50% of winning because there are 3 bad offline programs GEC generation, Alliance betrayal sites with codes and manipulations. Lastly tricks while playing are not listed! Everything you learn takes 10 years if they don’t burn your station by constant bombardments or kick you out in some lame Alliance! Most Alliance leaders won’t let you build an Alliance headquarters because their are no places to build a headquarters as soon as you try big Alliance players attack you overnight! I would suggest 3 changes 1)Universe wars should be 2-3 times a year so stuck players can leave lousy Alliances rather than get burned 2) Every galaxy should have at least 3-5 free planets to warp too in case Some crazy Alliance leader kicks you out for no reason or explanation at all! 3) Good Alliances should be displayed on a list because they don’t rotate players for payouts after events, Bad Alliances should be shown how many players they KICK per week, month and yearly!.Version: 2.3.3
✓ Good game, but I’m slightly annoyedI think it’s a really good game and I’m addicted to the game. At first I didn’t think it would be any good and only downloaded based on the recommendation of a friend. I do however find it slightly annoying that you can’t choose where to start off and you can’t move between galaxies either. It means that it’s very easy for new players to get bullied by the stronger ones and it’s much harder for small or new alliances to actually establish themselves as they may be put into a galaxy where there are no solar systems to take over as they’ve all been conquered by other alliances..Version: 1.5.3
✓ PURE ADDICTIONI can not stop playing this game it’s so fun and all you really have to do is have a good alliance and build up your fleet and station and your pretty much untouchable it’s my addiction I can not stress enough how much I LOVE this game some ideas maybe make new ships classes like carriers and fighters maybe make like orbital defenses personal defenses by orbital I mean personal what these would serve as is a extra defense so instead of having to be a general in alliances when you get to a certain point you can make stuff like Macs around yours base or many more things again when you get to a point maybe have like super structures and mega structures maybe a battle station type deal like the Death Star lol but what I’m saying is I LOVE this game but there are so many opportunities.Version: 2.1.0
✓ A good oneA good game indeed. Though I will admit it was hard to understand the game since it didn’t had much for a tutorial. I really like how Nova plays with us a server. How we prep up for wars with other servers (which a lot in standard galaxies don’t know.) how nova throws events, and how we make a choice as a server to fight for it, or to establish some sort of event alliance (very handy and very very functional) aside that, the gameplay itself is good, from fleet battles, to the first time ever kraken and simulation. Fun to watch. there are many good things about the game but there are always downsides. For starters, how fleets can be permanently destroyed. Yes, it’s tough when it happens. I lost a lot of fleet power due to it, but I’ve been able to rebuild given time. Not many know they should have reserve ships in case their main fleet falls, or some backup ships. Defense ships are also an option. Another thing is the pay to win thing. I personally don’t see it as pay to win. Yeah, pay to win exists in most game. But you don’t have to pay in nova to do much. Growth is much slower, but us as players must be patient. Overall, good game. Hope the game updates frequently in the future as it is a good game I prefer playing hands down..Version: 2.1.8

✓ Lost all my data and progress after deleting game!I’m playing over a year,sync on Facebook,but then I deleted the game.. after a couple months went back on it,now almost lv6, I deleted it for some reason and downloaded again,but now I can only get my progress from the first Facebook sync... it looks that I forgot to sync it the second time I downloaded it.. I want all my progress back,but it looks that I can’t do it...changed my name after a few weeks,and only gives me the progress from lv2 ..and not lv5. Pease help!.Version: 1.8.7
✓ To the players.Let me tell you a story. It all began when my alliance declared war on another alliance, one which was lesser developed. We had a massive fleet and were headed to battle when all of the sudden, the enemy popped out his wallet and are fleet turned to rubble. Shortly after, he began attacking are main star system, in which he destroyed many of our bases, our defenses, and our alliance HQ, without losing a ship by the way. What I’m trying to say is know your enemy, one minute they’re lesser developed, and the next they’re ten times your strength. This message is for the players, because the developers don’t care about the balance between those who put time into this game and those who put money into it. ✓ One of the better space strategy games.So far I like it. One of the best things is very few glitches. Good maps. Lots of items and decent amount of bonuses you can get each day. Some packs are decently priced. But not necessary to grow. I know some complain about how long some building upgrades take. But overall actually shorter then most other games of this type. Also like that as long as you stay in your alliance territory. You don’t have to stay shielded all the time. But on that. At least in my server. For a war game its awful peaceful. Last time my alliance declared war on another. We were actually told by our leadership not to attack any of the enemy bases. Just defensive structures. And before the kraken event when you can get the ability to build advanced ships. All the alliances peacefully decide who will get to use it instead of fighting for the privilege..Version: 1.8.7

✓ AWESOME GAME!The game is awesome! And though there are a few negative points, it is still fun to play. One of the main negatives is the pirates always there, I’ve not came across one system yet that has only clans. Again don’t get me wrong I love the game, just, I really wish I could make a galaxy without pirates in it. Still awesome game though! ✓ Great game but one major flawOk so, this is a really great game. I mean, the graphics are amazing, so is the realistic timing and amount of in game money that you spend. BUT! There is one big thing I don’t like. When you join an alliance and start to chat, the A.I either just ignore you or start another conversation with someone else. Even if they do answer you, they never give a direct answer, especially when you ask them a question. Over all, I think this game is totally AWESOME for kids age 6+.Version: 2.0.22
