The payout per battle isn’t exactly the best, and the only way to double your rewards is either wait for a few hours or watch a 30-second video to quickly speed it up. For rewards such as gold eggs, it takes forever to enhance it if you want 4x rewards, roughly 8 hours or so. PvP matches are short but fun, and it takes a bit of time to play around with cards and select your load out for each battle. The connecting times for PvP are not terrible; I usually get connected in about 15-20 seconds, and I haven’t had any issues with the fluidity of the game. The graphics are pretty good, although it is tough to get stronger cards or even different ones unless you play a ton of matches, which can get exhausting. The game is moderately F2P friendly and you can get better cards by grinding away and spending hours participating in matches. Overall, a short, fun game if you are looking for something casual but could be a grind fest if you want to unlock more cards..Version: 2.4.2

✓ Everyone is always laggingThis is a fun little game but the devs are renting absolutely trash servers. Everyone lags no matter how low their normal ping is and in this game a lag spike will change the entire course of a match. You play a match, you win, then the game lags and rewinds the gameplay changing everything and then you lose. Only reason this gets a 2 is because the game actually has some potential. ✓ Really? A “brawl pass” now?This was a great game to play when I first got this IPhone a little over a year ago. I enjoyed the unique style of it, but eventually stopped playing. As I update the game and look at the patch notes, I see that there is now a battle pass. I am mortified. To put it simply, people were getting bored with the game, and now the game is copying fortnite by adding in a battle pass. It is either an attempt to get more money or attract people to their game. I am usually deterred from games like this, as they are trying to gain popularity by taking ideas from an already popular game (hence the battle pass). As for the developers: Find new ways to enhance your game instead of just stealing ideas. Your game is basically the same at core as Clash Royale, but you went your own way with it. If you want to make a battle pass, at least make it different from everyone else. CoC, CR, Pixel Gun 3D, and Rocket League already stole these ideas, and I’m sure there are many more out there that do the same scummy tactics to try and get money. ✓ Good idea, but..Physics of the game needs retweaking. Especially when it comes to aiming and environmental factors. Game is extremely frustrating to play bc of the inconsistencies of what effects what during game play. Sling lags and launches heros not when you want them to. Countering other heros gets nullified on many occasions from stupid things like bounce. there is just so much rag doll in game play that its uncomfortable. Hud of game makes things difficult to find and interact with. its extremely busy without any indicators but guessing what is what. Game relies a lot of random chances things will work and not really much skill. but more who has the higher level hero, which is extremely Apparent and does not give any fair chance to actually Play. ✓ Honest ReviewGenerally, I do not do feedbacks on apps, but I feel inclined to do one here. I am not sure how the algorithm is designed, but I let an egg enhance for a few days and I kept enhancing it to try and see what it would do, but it literally gave me the same type of clones with just a bit more of the level up things. Every egg that I hatched always just gave me points for clones that I did not use at all. I like the game, but you should think about redesigning your algo and actually working more towards the player needs instead of spitting out a bunch of random things that are, in lamest terms, useless. I was playing the game heavily, but after that extra enhancement with the egg giving me garbage, this app will get a one star from me. ✓ GRAND TRICKSTER RUINED THE GAMEThe game used to be fun. It was my favorite game. I’m going to try Clash Royale though because they recently ruined this game completely. They keep adding more and more “clones” and they just added one called the “Grand Trickster” that if you don’t kill right away, will give an easy win to opponent. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I was one of the top players at this game and now I can’t even play it anymore. This new clone is used by everyone I play now because it makes it so incredibly easy to win. ✓ Good game but...All in all this game is very enjoyable. I liked how it was in the same style as clash royals but at the same time a completely different game. I was having a lot of fun until about the point where I hit the frozen noon arena. Up until this point, I had been using a lot of the same cards that I had got since close to the beginning or at least the ones I had been using I had been using for a while and have played many matches with them. About this time I realized something that almost ruins the game for me, you are essentially punished for using cards u like repeatedly. The whole system of cars trophies is good for the gems but after a certain point, it’s almost impossible to earn trophies with them. Basically if you play with a card enough, it will reach a “high trophies” status which lowers the amount of trophies you can earn from winning a battle. This gets even worse when u do this with multiple cards and play someone with a lot lower party trophies. Why am I punished for using cards I like? Eventually, this could get to a point where I can’t earn any trophies at all if all of my cards end up this way. Developers if you are listening, please get rid of this system, if I like certain cards and want to use them more than others, I should not be punished for it..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Great game except for one huge issueI was absolutely loving this game until I hit about 1400 trophies and noticed my party trophies were red, claiming that cards with red trophies wouldn’t earn as much as others in battle. This forced me to use horrible decks that simply weren’t fun to use (especially considering the very limited amount of cards I have this early on in the game). To put it simply: the party trophy system ruins the game. It may be meant to help keep things fresh for the players by making them use new cards, but in reality it just forces players to use decks that don’t work and aren’t fun. ✓ Semi Enjoyable, Mediocre, FrustratingThis game starts off awesome and fun. You will quickly learn without a pocket book full of Franklins you will never get to elite status. Once in the higher rankings you begin to play the same people over and over. I have played some people as many as 4 times in a row. If they are superior to you that’s 4 straight losses and your trophy count quick to shambles. On top of that let’s say by the grace of god you are up then you have these crummy arena extras that honestly are more frustrating than pleasant. You can be play great and all the sudden you get an earthquake and your open launches random bombshell that bounce there way to your tower. I bought the $4.99 season pass. It has 50 tiers which is pathetic. I have played other games with 150+. If you are an active player you will get through 50 tiers in a week if not quicker. Easy coding to allow deck coping would be nice also. A lot of times I would like to play someone else’s line up but if you have a bad memory like myself that’s a tedious task going back and forth. I think p2w players should only have to go against other p2w players. That would make the game fair and easy to rank up. I lost 7 times in a row. Also, I think it’s stupid if I use the same card I like I lose trophies for it. They are literally punishing you for playing how you want to play. ✓ The trophy system wrecks the gameThey punish you for having a deck that you like and are familiar with. I think the idea behind it is to keep people making fresh decks and not have everyone with the same deck. But it makes it feel like I’m being held back because I have a specific set of clones I like. I finally found a combination that I had success with, but now that the trophy count is too high for each clone, I can barely advance. I have to win 2 or 3 times as many matches to get the same advance as winning 1 when I first built the deck. It’s a silly idea and it needs to go. ✓ Game starts off fun but gets boring and frustratingI do not like how every time a new clone is introduced, it just ends up getting nerfed to the ground to the point it is unusable. If u look at the decks of all top players in the leaderboards they all have basically the same deck as each other that consists of the same old basic bombs and supports. Thanks to the developers nerfing our favourite clones to the ground it feels pointless to try out a new deck or have more variety types of decks winning games bc in the end the same old basic bombs and support are all u need to win games now. This kinda makes the game boring. For example, the trickster just came out a month ago or so and it was such a fun clone to use but they nerf it to the ground and add a time limit to it and practically makes it the worst clone to use as its defence is now terrible. I was considering buying them but then i realised that this game is actually a scam. Even if i buy the green things theres still no guarantee that i will get the upgrades i want. ✓ Balance IssuesI really enjoyed playing similar games like this one and had no problems with them; however I find the gameplay in this game unenjoyable because of the balance issues present with the cards. Many cards also feel unfun to play against because the inherent luck involved in using them, where it doesn’t feel like a player’s skill is evaluated when utilising the cards. I also had a lot of technical issues trying to play the game during the event that was held where many times matches would not play out correctly and abruptly end, or I would have games freeze in the middle of the match. They said they would give me 400 gems which if you play the game you know it’s trash when what I payed for was 50 times more value able then what they promised. My cousin also was scammed buy this company when he also purchased the same thing as me and received it, but it took away $10 instead of $5. Too focused on generating revenue by having the algo’s tuned to get you to spend money to get more gold to upgrade your clones. Also, the algorithm would pair you incorrectly different level player in 2v2 matches. But apart from, that it would still be fun. However, with the latest update and introduction of runes, the game is ruined. Because it unfairly pairs you against other players with higher power clones and runes. Making it impossible to beat them because you don’t have any runes. And of course there are always glitches in the game. ✓ Match makingThe match making is so broken in this game. Absolutely broken, you will consistently face players that have much more health than you. Like to the point that they have over a 1000 more health per bar than you do. Their clones (troops) will be multiple levels higher than you and they will even have items that you simply do not because of the difference in level. It’s actually ridiculous. Their clones will also often have spells attached to them that your clones will not have. These spells are only available if your clones are a high enough level. So often times you will not have these spells and be playing against people that do have them giving them a wildly unfair advantage over you. I have had this game for years now and it is just getting to the point of being unplayable. The ranking system is based off trophies which is fine in theory but if you go on a winning streak and rack up a lot of trophies. you will start to fight people who are much stronger and more advanced than you are. So, you can lose trophies but after one or two loses in a row you only lose 2 or 3 trophies at a time. When you win you gain around 30 trophies. So when you do get to high in trophy level than you can handle it is almost impossible to drop back down where you need to be. It’s truly a broken system. If you do wish to upgrade and advance fast just buy the brawl pass it is almost broken how good it is and makes the game pay to win..Version: 3.3.0

After maybe a week of playing this game, the servers start setting you up with players that are at a much higher level than you are at. Their level of health can be almost twice as much as what you possess and their attacks can also have double the impact as yours. All of the agents (clones) that you send over to attack the opponents tower can be decimated with a much higher level clone that your opponents possess. How do you get these higher level clones? How do you attain the level of health that these players possess? Well, you pay this gaming company some money. Again, most of the players that I was set up with are at a much higher health, attack and clone level than I was and I played this game for weeks to see if this would continue and it did. Then the devs introduced non-physics clones like the Overseer which require no skill to use and things went downhill from there. Add in the amazing lag when playing vs E Europeans and it’s really not worth the investment in time any more. Sadly the game developers are extremely unfair in treating the accounts of players banning and changing the TOS of the game on multiple fronts at the same time, being overly incoherent and inconsistent in their decision making. They are rash and abrupt and after the changed TOS they do not even notify players of the changes. They simply ban accounts. If they fixed the lag that keeps on plaguing the gameplay they would have done better than banning accounts around. And no, my account has not been banned. If you do visit Reddit and the game forum you can learn more about their transgressions as we will post more and more content as we discover it. This should be known and all of the potential players need to know what you are getting yourself into before accepting the invisible TOS. ✓ Great game but finding new clones... TO WAY RARE!I love this game and have been playing it for a while . Im in the 3000s when it comes to trophies and ranking but my gosh every time i come across an egg i get the same things over and over again and waiting EIGHT HOURS FOR EARNED REWARDS DELIVERING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN IS NOT FUN. I play against people around my ranking and im always seeing loads of new clones being used and yet i never see them pop up for me. Ive been recycling the same clones practically the whole time since i started and not for nothing those clones that i keep seeing are very powerful and bust through practically everything i throw at them making challenging people even more difficult cause im not getting anything that can match up to their clones. If the random findings of clones in the eggs can change a bit so its not THAT rare as it is now . Ill definitely be more happy than i am now playing this. ✓ I used to like this gameI used to like this game but the lag and the disconnects make it more frustrating then anything. Plus you end up paying so much money to get clones upgraded only to face opponents that will destroy you. To top it off when your playing match making in 2v2, unless your playing with a really good opponent or on a team, you either end up with someone who doesn’t know how to play or you end up with someone who refuses to play with you. Also this game doesn’t provide hardly any coins or gems to win making upgrades nearly impossible or so time consuming you’ll never get them upgraded without paying for it. Overall it’s turned into a money put that barely functions. I’ve written to tech support for this game and they say the lag and disconnects are caused by my connection, I’ve explained that I have a top tier fiber optic modem and router and top tier Wi-Fi. ✓ Greedy developersThis game is great, no questions about the idea. But, whoever built it is so GREEDY. It's so sad to experience unbalanced game. When I stopped paying monthly subscription (called brawl pass) I suddenly started getting way more powerful players and keep loosing. All they want from users is to pay more. On top of subscriptions you may need to buy millions of coins, which is insane money. I hope nobody pays that, me neither... Yes, they inform you about the "upgrade and advance faster" in the beginning of the game and you accept those terms. ✓ More bugs than fair matchesCongrats on receiving my first ever 1-star review. The game feels like a work in process with terrible balancing, constant bugs, and matchmaking so bad it makes reality show romance matches look rational. I’ve experienced getting matched with multiple level 20-somethings in a row since I was level 13, and the fact that it often take 2 or more minutes to find a match doesn’t help. I’m almost sure that there’s not just bugs in the physics, but also the matching system, since it’s almost always when it takes more than one minute to get matched that I end up with a severely overpowered enemy that I have zilch chance of beating. Also, runes are literal garbage. ✓ Ok, but why Badlands?When you here Badlands, you think of the gorgeous side scroller game that was a huge hit due to it iconic characters and style. Badlands Brawl however, has none of the original flare of Badlands. It is replaced with a cheap cartoon style, nothing reminiscent of the original game... But it REEKS if Clash Royale. I play Clash, I like it too, but it seems like Supercell jammed Clash down Badlands throat and it gagged this out. The card levelling system, clash, the poor 3-D, clash, the 2v2, clash. ✓ Very fun, card trophy mechanic is TERRIBLEThis game is a 5/5, rivals clash royals easily. Fun to get into, tons of players, and you progress enough to not have to be pay 2 win. That being said... THE TROPHY SYSTEM ON THE CARDS IS ABSURD. It can absolutely break the game’s fun. Effectively, every time you win with a card, you get trophies for it (And when you lose the trophies are taken away). Anyway, the amount of trophies you have affects how many trophies you can win. The more you have, the less you can win. Problem is that only about 60% of the cards available are meta, and you start running out of cards to play eventually. I am versatile with a pool of cards, but I’m getting to a point where they are all too high. And at that point it starts killing the fun. If you wanna keep the system, just make it less of an effect on how many trophies you win. Anyway, thanks for reading. Dumb system is making the game a stupid grind..Version: 1.4.2

The latest update, while exciting, seems to have scuppered certain elements of game play. The “king” character atop the tower can now dislodge and fall causing confusion on the bridge (land units are obstructed unless they are nudged over). I was charged twice for the Brawl Pass. The in-app support is of no use. The chat bot only redirects to existing FAQ and doesn’t connect to an actual human. Utterly ridiculous. ✓ Boring..badFirstly I’ve played 3 rounds so far past the tutorial world. Each round loaded within 2 seconds. Sounds good but it actually isn’t. The loading time is so short because... It’s PvE, and there isn’t much complexity, variety, or reactivity to the bot. And they were insanely easy and followed almost pattern perfect procedures to each other right down to the timing and angle of the attack and defense across all 3 rounds. Secondly for a game touting the physics engine these are some insanely bland units. ✓ Complete ignoranceThis game is unbalanced, but I guess it can be fun. They completely ignore the anti gravity zone. This clone is an unreal, which is the highest rarity in the game. Nearly impossible to get. It’s arguably the worst clone in the game. I was excited at the new patches because maybe they would buff it, but nope. No buffs at all for it. All it does is HELP your opponent build up a push against you, and the sling distance is not far enough for it to be used on offense. They completely ignore this clone’s blatant need for buffs. Come on devs, just buff the anti gravity zone. There is also this stupid trophy mechanic on clones, where each trophy you use gains trophies when you win with it. If you have a lot of trophies on a clone, then you can lose overall trophies VERY easily. ✓ Just another cash grab mobile gameThis game is no different to any other mobile game. Just another cash grab with very repetitive gameplay. Once you get so far it’s basically a pay to win. Also some of the “brawls” play out so unwell and end up being frustrating to play, it’s usually just you and your opponent spamming whatever card you have available and hoping something goes in. But the reason why I rate this game as and ok game is because of two reasons , the first reason to get off my chest are the trophies, you can use your favorite deck and get a lot of wins until it reaches to the point were you are forced to use another type of deck that you don’t like. ✓ Unfair and poorly balancedI’m literally playing people with enemies DOUBLE my level and I’ve practically just started? It’s pointless when the enemy has units you haven’t even unlocked yet. ✓ WhyWHY ARE THERE SO MANY BROKEN CLONES! Big Smith literally cannot be killed or moved by anything. Arrows counter almost everything. Lumberjackie can push a plain bomb across the to other tower in two swings. WHY. Everybody uses these completely broken clones and i have lost four in a row bcoz of them. FOUR IN A ROW! Also at least give us a chance to get mythicals and unreals, i have never gotten a mythical in at least a month. Edit: i quit the game bcoz it simply isnt down to skill anymore. Its just luck now. Throw in some broken clones like bomb frog and big smith, as well as ridiculous lag and extremely unfair gameplay and that is what this game is.
