✓ Issues not resolved3 stars is due to not because the game isn’t fantastic it is but the fact I have to keep contacting support when I’m hitting achievements for gold rewards, 5 times now I have been in touch and although it gets resolved for a game that is 8 years old we should not be having these bug issues and it needs fixing but it never does. Once or twice is okay but every single time now I’m hitting higher rewards and it’s wrong that I am unable to claim and have to keep contacting you!!!.Version: 0.135

✓ It’s ok I guessAs the title says it’s ok, if you played HOI4 then this will probably be closest thing to play it on your mobile but beware! It is clearly pay to win with the massive gold icon that is always shown on the UI. There is a lack of tutorial (it only shows you some key moments) some people can quite easily get to grips with this game others maybe not it took me a while to realise you can level up with you have already built. A lot of the map is missing key areas and seems to be very squished quite surprised they have not added a lot of areas of Africa as colonials were very active in this era. Certain countries don’t have their own units for example Italy uses German equipment as we all know that wasn’t the case. It’s a clever idea but it runs on real time and games like this require you to be on ALL the time so something like this I would not play however the genre is something I’m into so I shall see if I can finish a campaign..Version: 0.135
✓ I’m getting abuse about my father during bytro have done nothingI stupidly told a player I was a carer and my father hasn’t got long. The player has done nothing but mock my father stating a pistol should be shoved down his throat and he should be put out of his misery. I made a complaint. Bytro CLOSED THE COMPLAINT with no action. I have written another complaint and I went to screen shot all the abuse about my father which has last over two three days now by the way. They have literally deleted all his messages off the conversation and have left mine. Luckily I took screenshots but this is evil toxic behaviour and he should be banned for life. I’m broken after the things that have been said very evil as it’s just me and my dad and he’s going to die very soon. They haven’t even warned him or banned him. This is disgusting behaviour and no safeguarding is done from the team. I feel I have to go to the police with this or seek legal advice I will not leave this alone untill I am taken seriously. This is why I’ve awarded the game 1star. The game play was great the treat however have a lack of care and safeguarding for young people and dealing with real complaints that don’t involve their benefit..Version: .150
✓ Tough to Play on MobileI absolutely love Call of War! It’s an amazing game and I’ve played it for nearly 4 years now. I do suggest however if possible to mainly play on a computer. It is buggy and hard for Mobile Phones to run. Your phone heats up a TON, and crashes are commonplace. I recently had a problem where it signed me out of my account and then created a new one randomly. It was impossible to sign out and delete this newly created account due to the settings in place, which help save your main account but are a pain when you don’t want the random account made for you. Playing Mobile is great for staying up to date with your games, but be warned: it is a stress on your phone. Hope this helps, and don’t pass on his great game! ✓ Historical 1939 World War TwoI first off want to say that I think this is a great game but the power balance between France, UK, and Germany is completely wrong. At this time historically, Germany was struggling and had all it’s troops on the polish boarder so when the Allies declared war, Germany had to wait because all of it’s troops were on the polish boarder not split evenly between the French and Polish Boarder like is shown in the game. Also, the amount of french troops in the game is very unrealistic because combined with the British they far outnumbered the Germans. Furthermore, the german navy is unrealistically big for the time. This is so much so that the Royal and french Navies have to combine to defeat them which is far away from the reality. The Luftwaffe is realistic in size in the game but the Royal and French airforce’s are not because combined historical they were equal (if not slightly better than) the Luftwaffe. I hope that you at Bytro read this because there is some true improving to be done..Version: 0.92

✓ Atrocious Battery DrainThis game is ok and has some enjoyable moments, but when it drains an iPad Pro 15% in 15mins that is completely unacceptable. If you have money you buy premium account which allows you to queue up any production and construction and also you can buy gold which speeds up your construction and production. so by the time you make a 1 tank someone will already have 10 ready because they brought those stuff. ✓ Major IssueA fun game for strategy lovers, but plagued with problems, at least on mobile (what I use). Usually your phone becomes warm when you play a game right? But when your phone goes warm with this game, it crashes. It force changes your settings for no reason, lags badly, and then gives either a black or white screen. I have never experienced this issue with games before. I can play games that load much more and take much more space on my phone that never give me an issue for hours and hours. Ten minutes on this thing is laggy, add another 5-10 and your crashing and can’t play until your phone is comeplety cool. You can’t use your phone during that time either cause that keeps the phone warm. Also, this is in an air conditioned room. If your like me and have been to literal deserts and much hotter places than a.... air conditioned room. You know how fast that phone warms (like 1 minute) which already is the end of your game playing time for this game. (For reference, I am using an IPhone 7+, and I always play with the case off so no issue with cause making it to hot.) Edit: I also want to say that the more colorful graphic version lags my phone badly, but right now I can’t even switch to the working graphics because now they also cause me to crash. ✓ Great Game but Painfully BuggyIt’s a great game, I love it but some others might not like it because it’s not a quick game, games usually go over a month or two. I’ve had two bugs which weren’t big but they were painful. The first one was in the tutorial. The game had not given me any premium credits, but I was forced to speed up processes with the premium credits that I should have received, so I had to wait for that production time to finish until moving onto the next one. I ended up having to wait 2 hours or so before I could actually play the game. The second bug occurred when putting metal up for sale on the stock market and loosing ALL my money. A third and consistent bug that occurs in this and some of there other games is watching adds for premium credits and it doesn't process it. Sometimes you’ll have to watch the add a second time for the same prize because it didn’t give you the prize, as if you didn’t even watch the add, or you might get the pop up but not get the prize and have to watch the add again..Version: 0.112

✓ The help team is absolutely horribleI got banned from a global chat on my phone for singing country roads with other people in a chat room..We were all having fun until somebody banned me from the chat room for talking in all caps, ...I wasn’t talking I was singing and having fun with a video game that takes 24 hours to move a character so chat rooms are what makes it fun at times, everyone in the chat room was even asking why I was banned...I then had to ask the help team a question about the game so I went to the help chat only to realize that when I got banned for doing what everyone else was doing I was banned from asking for help..so I realized I had the app on my steam account..I had a different account that I never used so I went to the help chat and asked why I was banned from asking for help on my other account and then immediately banned me from all chat rooms permanently because having two accounts is against the terms of service...I understand that because I hit agree, but what makes me angry is the fact that they never even answered my question, and not only that, I can still play on both accounts, they just banned me from talking to anybody on a chat room, so it’s s fun game yeah but just watch what you say in any chat room and make sure u don’t do what others are doing because u can and will get banned for dumb reasons.Version: 0.58
✓ Moderators are utter garbageI’ve played for a few months. Great game. I mean amazing with the troops and countries and resources. You couldn’t ask for anything better. The days and weeks it takes to move troops and build up cities really adds a reality to it you just don’t see that often. However the pay to win is really defeating. You can play perfectly and still lose because some guy is willing to drop $100 to beat you. Then you get the cheaters who multi account. The first time I came across them the moderators banned them pretty quick. The second time they didn’t and then they sent me messages saying I’m not allowed to call out cheaters who join games and give all their territories to their buddy. I’m now completely disenchanted with these developers and once I finish the games that I’m in I’m not going to start a new one and will just delete this app..Version: 0.33
✓ Wallet Warriors Ruin The GameI absolutely love this game and the strategy involved with it. The one issue that I have with it is the gold system. I recently lost a game in which I had taken over the majority of the world with my coalition until we ran upon some of the last remaining resistance in South America. We figured we would plough through them, but we didn’t think that they would be gold users. One of my columns of troops was while out by his, leaving it at 15% strength. Simple, right? My reinforcements that arrived 30 minutes later encountered an enemy army at 95% strength?!!! Naturally I lost. There’s also my favorite in which I’m approaching a town that I have scouted and all of a sudden 8 tank destroyers pop out of it simultaneously and destroy me even though there was nothing there 3 seconds ago. If this game could fix its gold system it would be amazing, but until they can do that I can only give 2 stars. ✓ Great game ruined by the spendersI have just walked away from the last 5 games I’ve been playing as another player has just spent a ton of cash, researched and built a ton of units and obliterated everyone. Totally ruins what could and should be a great game. I understand that the team need to be paid. Why not have a series of limits on spending in various games or a daily limit? The amount of time it took to build your weapons like artillery and tanks it took forever but wasn't the worst of it the worst part was having to travel a fair distance and taking a whole 24hrs or longer to get there that's just crazy if I was going to design a game like this the timing of it all like building things and traveling I'd cut time length of it by at least half traveling a long time can put a strain on playing the game and could mean losing players which is why I don't play it anymore Graphics and the skin of the game is good and mapping is alright but definitely needs fixing. ✓ Great game but....This game is great strategy game. However, there Are several balancing issues with artillery and railroad gun. For people who really don’t know the game, almost every unit in this game have a counter to it. If someone have an army(consist of 10 units) of only tanks, build some anti tank gun. If someone have only aircraft, build some anti aircraft gun. You get the deal. It force you to think about having a balanced army which is a good think. However, if you survived into the late game(after day 8), you will probably run into players who will build multiple armies of either artillery or railroad gun, which you have absolute no counter to. They can kill literally armies at a distance away. It is a pain when trying to kill them because they just simply run away. This is especially true when trying to conquer enemy's territories when your armies is 50% slower. You can’t really kill them with aircrafts or rockets. Only way to have your own artillery armies. So it forces you to play the same way: artillery armies. This basically defeats the whole goal of what the game suppose to be..Version: 0.66
✓ Great game spoilt by greedI play this app in conjunction with the PC version, both are excellent and you can switch between devices as it suits you. It will appeal to those who want a war strategy game played at the level of national leader or top general. You can have up to 100 players in an individual game, which can last several weeks. The issue is the usual one, play to win. I just had to abandon a contest I was in because another player spent $200 on day one and was continuing to outspend everyone. This ruined the game for the other players and means - when he wins - his win will have no value, it will just say he spent $mega and other players spent less or nothing. The developers want funds of course. But they could fix this by putting a limit per game of the gold a player can spend on that individual game. It could be high - say, the equivalent of $100 or so over the several weeks of the game. Players who spend real cash would have an advantage still, but it would be more proportionate and avoid games being ruined for all participants after a single day. I can imagine developers thinking this is the last thing they need, but I think they should look more closely - the excessive spending of ‘crazies’ is alienating players like me (who are steady spenders of real cash) from the game..Version: 0.44
✓ It’s fun, but not realisticHey, I love this game. But me and my friends noticed something. When we were playing, we noticed some things weren’t very realistic. I am playing sweden in a 1939, historic world map. Now, I’m not saying this is your fault, but I start off really weak. Sweden during the Second World War was practically a world power. Their tank designs could easily defeat the panzer 1’s and 2’s and go toe to toe with panzer 3 and 4’s. They were equal with the Germans main armor. But Sweden starts off with 10 units, and a crappy airforce and navy. This isn’t accurate at all. Italy doesn’t have the alpine wall, and their army was made of many commando groups, who were better suited for the alps. Japan is basically all navy. I don’t say this to judge, but to plead for you to fix this. You have the base for an amazing game, so please, just please, put in the extra effort to make it amazing, and historically correct. ✓ What happened?I used to play this game but needed space so deleted it, came back about a month later cuz I had the space to download it and everything is terrible. What happened to all the game modes? My favorite one (WWII accurate one) is gone, along with every other mode except the 100 player one and the starting mode. There is no longer weekly events were new game modes are added, the last sort of patch or game update was September 24, new game modes were being announced ever 3-4 days. It feels like this game was abandoned and it fees bad, as I played this game on and off for 3 years and really got me into history. It feels bad that a huge part of my love for history was thrown out in front of me. The game is always reloading and when I try to sell goods or research it goes back to the load in screen. And now the game I have spent 3 weeks on won’t load and now I’m doing another round and it is not loading. Another thing is that aircraft carriers are to hard to use because getting the planes on it is weird and when it moves the don’t follow and just turn into boats. And subs have no purpose they just get destroyed even when they are hidden or they get attack by ships that can’t attack in real life. I purchased some game currency to produce some troops because the CPU nations kept declaring war on me one after another. 8 nations declared war. I noticed that the purchases weren’t giving me what I purchased. And were inconsistent. Then I noticed that it was taking currency waiting from me. I tried to file a ticket but it’s an automated bot and they say they’ll send a message in game. About 5-10 minutes later- they disabled my account bc I submitted a support ticket. Now I’ve wasted money. It seems this game is 100% a scam where the CPU declares war on you to get you to spend money then in my case after spending and noticing inconsistencies in the purchases and that the game currency would spend more than you used - they disable your account if you complain about it. I’ve reported this game to my credit card and bank. I’ve tried to get the game to refund me but they don’t respond. DONT DOWNLOAD AND PLAY. IF YOU DO- BEWARE OF SPENDING. ✓ Bytro please readThe game is great I will say, but I think there is something wrong with the railway gun. In the description it says that it has the farthest range of any unit, used for bombarding far away cities and it even needs other units to spot for it because of said massive range. But I built one and found out that the actual range is about the same size as regular artillery. I’m wondering if this is a glitch or if there was a massive nerf that wasn’t told on the description, but it doesn’t have the longest range at all..Version: 0.133

✓ Great game. Hot app. No really.Great game. I’ve played the online version for years. So, I was excited to see an app was produced and I dove right in. Besides the bigs that others have mentioned (issues with white space after typing and not being able to scroll the coalition menu), I unfortunately picked up two very frustrating problems that have lead me to abandon the game. Firstly, within a matter of less than a minute of playing my phone would start to heat up. Like as in very, very hot. Unfortunately, the online version has also caused my acer laptop to over heat in ways I’m not used to have happen - leading to slow downs and random shut downs. I was playing a 100 person game that was 4x the usual speed and limited to two weeks - assuming the numbers of updates increased as well I’m wondering if that might have had something to with this? Either way, the heat that it’s causing in my laptop and phone can’t be good for my devices. Also, the app would constantly reboot. Screen would go white, followed by the familiar loading screen, and back to the game I was busy with. Not sure if it’s related to the over-heating issue, but super irritating..Version: .20

It’s a shame because it could be a good game but with all the pay to wins it’s just not worth downloading. Reports about cheating players also take ages to review; I was in one game an enemy who had a multi account who was so obvious they even had the same name with only one number at the end difference- I reported them because multi accounting is against the rules but by the time they were banned they had already knocked out three players who were playing legit. ✓ If people weren’t able to use gold then this game would be goodThis game is literally pointless to play if you’re not willing to spending $100 a game on gold to use to fight against other kids that are doing the same. You’ll be playing, building up your army and economy, and then the player next to your nation will use gold to have max level buildings on that day and and unbelievable amount of troops that is impossible to have at that point in time if they were playing normally and then you get wiped out because they send their troops at you and if you somehow survive the initial assault then they just hold up huge stacks of troops instantly to throw at you again and you lose. It’s happened to me each game I’ve played now. There are forums where players are asking for a NO GOLD MODE or maybe something where you need to spend gold to join this specific match but then cannot spend it in game but the developers choose to ignore that suggestion by players. This is why people leave and stick around on this game. If that day ever actually comes then I’d change my review but for now it’s easily a 1 star since you can’t win unless you spend 100s of dollars a match when you’re playing against real players aka the game becomes unplayable. ✓ WE NEED A WARNING!!!I find it fair if we can play as any country, Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) even Switzerland and Portugal. But there could be a warning saying that the smaller countries have a disadvantage and that we need to agree to it. ✓ Fun, but BIG problemsThis game is very fun for those who would like to take over the world, but it is VERY laggy. It used to be fine but over time got worse and worse. It’s bad to the point I can’t even log in a game anymore. Don’t think it’s my WIFI, my WIFI is just fine. it’ll log into the game for half a second then restart, then do the same thing but then sit in a black screen after and not do anything. This is very frustrating and I would really appreciate it if you fix this problem. If it helps my phone is an IPhone 7s+. Sure it’s kinda a little old but it’s never had problems like this until now. Another thing I would like to point out is the fact that that the game runs smoother in enhanced graphics mode and MUCH worse when disabled, and then every time there is a small lagg spike it’ll kick me off enhanced graphics to where it is much more laggy in unenhanced graphics (not sure if that’s a word). ✓ So closeThe game has good core mechanics, plenty addictive. But there are two kinds of players… those who want a straight strategy game where winning is based on skill, and the people who want something with lots of wild cards and the ability to pay to win. Call of War has become a game for the second kind of gamer. If you don’t mind that you can’t escape the pay to win element, it’s worth playing. If you want a game where you can out play your opponent and they can’t just suddenly have a ton of new armies they couldn’t normally build, keep looking because this is not for you. I’ve played CoW for years. I loved what it used to be and can’t stand what it’s become. That’s why I don’t have any fun with this game anymore and I’m dropping it. ✓ Constant glitches.I really enjoy this game but I’ve tired of the constant drop out and reload glitches. I’m deleting it and hoping a reinstall helps. The 1.5 speed game style is more enjoyable as sometimes it feels slow for anything to happen. The updated build options are also an improvement. ✓ Bad updateBefore the new update I would give 5 or at least 4 star, it was really good as you could view your army even at larger map view but now you have to close up really near. The game lags much more now having to restart my game and sometimes the game kick you back out to loading screen. I’m more satisfied with the near graphics but the larger view graphics is poor, the radar of army visual looks less clear. I’m not sure what’s going on with two army’s fight as sometimes I win the fight in secs and some takes hours even with same numbers and types. And lastly I like the fact that if u take over a opponent province if the morale in the provinces is really low for a period of time and if not improved it will change side with other countries but why is it random and different countries shouldn’t it be with the previous country which u got it from due to this I have to start a war with different countries as once..Version: 0.26
✓ Miss the Old Call of WarIt’s not a terrible game. It’s still okay. But man this game in its prime was something else. More enjoyable than HOI4 in my opinion. But now it’s a shadow of itself and I would give anything to have the old call of war, the 2018-19 call of war, back..Version: 0.124

✓ UnbalancedWell I’m an experienced supremacy1914 player, I really love bytro games but this one looks very unbalanced to me, doesn’t really matter what I do almost impossible to win with Allies doctrine alone. Axis is very strong you have to spam tanks and SP AA and you are unstopable, they are fast, have high dmg and hp. Also not very realistic when a Pz3 is faster than Sherman…..Version: 0.146
