✓ It’s really fun, but some moments make me question this games logicThis game is really fun! I have enjoyed playing this for quite a while now, but sometimes the game is weird. For example, this has happened many times and has become frustrating, sometimes the game thinks that the fastest way to get to a spot in a country is to go say around the WHOLE ATLANTIC! Even though you have already declared war on them. I tested it out, and I once sent my troops into Michigan to attack, but instead of going through their territory and taking multiple provinces, which would have taken 3 hours, told me to go around Michigan in the Great Lakes to get to the province. Also, I send my artillery and rocket artillery to attack a troop that had a question mark, aka I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t show me what it is, even when MY TROOP IS ATTACKING IT!!! Other than that, this game is really fun and I really enjoy playing it!.Version: 0.83

✓ AddictingIt’s very addicting for people into strategy games. It takes a while to get from one place to another, but because of this, you get plenty of time to prepare against your enemies. Strategy is very important, this can be shown by army composition, battle tactics, etc. I also like the maps and research tree as it’s based off of real, historical ships and the design may vary from doctrines and countries. All you really need is patience. The tutorial doesn’t show as much as it should and could make it hard to understand what your supposed to do, but luckily they have a help chat so you can look for advice. A great strategy game, just wished it had better tutorial so you at least understand what to do a little bit more..Version: 0.52
✓ My favourite gameI love this game and I’ve made a great friend though when that server finished and we all got our gold, I was sad bc I realised I would never talk to that friend again. If this game were to have one major change it would be the ability to chat to friends and finish attacking enemies, this way me and Yugoslavia could chat and take Morocco. A few things I would add would be peace conferences, more politics, and A.I. Fighting. I think peace conferences would be a great thing so that you can give province’s to other A.I. And people.(puppet states would be cool too) I feel that the game has very little politics and that could be better by adding a bigger government and making it so that you can change government. The game could be so much better if the A.I. Would fight each other. The game is about world war 2 so I think it would be cool if the A.I. Would form coalitions against each other and then fight. Those are a few things that would make the game much better. This game has super good fighting but I wish that units didn’t have to go on the roads. ✓ BE WARE…I’ll keep it simple this game is absolutely insane for a mobile app. It’s so addicting that it genuinely will keep you up at night worried about what’s happening in the game. I got so hooked at this game I genuinely deleted it because I didn’t sleep for a few days straight while playing a rush event . I won the event but I was constantly playing especially when I got so big I was being attacked on multiple fronts I had no choice but to play non stop as if I was a real war general moving my troops and organising my front lines and supply chains. ✓ Best game on my tablet.I love to play this game on my tablet for a long time everyday. I like that you play with real players. I love that they’re making new updates at least 3 times a month. That shows that you really want to make this game great. I just have a couple of issues: the first issue is that people really trash talk each other 1 in every 5 of my games. I really want that to stop. 2. I really want there to be a mode where you can’t spend gold, because I’ve played as Japan and Tibet beats me! And he’s twice as advanced me. I hope you can make at least a minimum amount of gold spending you could do. 3. People who are way more powerful than me promise that we’ll survive until the end and then they attack halfway through the game, and they think it’s funny. ✓ Great game, for a certain group of peopleCall of war is one of my favorite mobile games to play. Even though it’s fun there is a big issue… the main problem is that the games take too long for most people. I played it over winter break when I didn’t have school but couldn’t play much after. My school doesn’t allow phones in class so if I were to start a game over a weekend, when school comes around I’m unable to do anything for 7.5 hours straight(not including time for homework) Other than that there is another issue that could easily be fixed. I was at war with this one player and in the private chat the person was making extremely antisemitic things at me (I’m Jewish) and I tried to report him but there was no button to report other than the game chat. ✓ New Update New ProblemsPersonally I like the update as it adds some fresh graphics which makes the game visually pleasing. Honestly I could stare at it all day! However there are 3 main issues: 1. Fog of war darkness needs to be amped up. I always keep it on but sometimes it’s hard to discern your territory from their’s because the shading will go all weird. 2. Some countries share colors. Now normally this isnt a problem but in this one match one country took a lot of land and ended up next to a country with the same color and shading. It was really confusing. 3. The “add army” selection doesn’t really work anymore. Sometimes the plus sign won’t pop up at all or it will only pop up for a small region around the selection target. Of course you could always tap the unit itself and it will select it, but this is not the case for small provinces as it will do the circle thing that asks if you want to select the province or the unit. This cancels the “add army” command which gets annoying..Version: 0.16

I only have two complaints 1 there are only pvp modes and 2 the players that are on the most win. For instance a player with an inferior force can defeat a superior force simply by having no commitments and staying up all night. They need a player vs ai mode. Maybe even a campaign would be awesome. I would also restructure the air warfare. Planes take damage too easy and don’t do enough damage. Naval and anti air in particular. I would also restructure the air tech tree. I would have a fighters, fighter bombers that do mediocre attack damage and mediocre dogfighting, and attack bombers that do poor dogfighting and high ground damage. ✓ Dear Bytro Devs (and other users): an open letterBytro if you made a game that was payed for directly rather than having the gold pay to win system I’d be willing to pay as much as 15 pounds for it on the App Store, maybe more if it was on steam or some other PC launcher/publisher. No lie. You guys make great games without gold and I love iron order and call of war but they need to ditch the gold pay to win. Also, if you decrease the time taken for each action or make it turn based that’s practically a whole new game that people can get into, event though it won’t fill the niche of long-term strategy that you can come back to every couple hours or so your existing games can be tweaked to be better and continue to fill that niche. ✓ Great game with great people, except for a fewThis game is probably the best strategy game I’ve ever played. While it may seem like some kind of cash grab mobile game from the ads, it is actually a very complex and fun real time World War II strategy game that you can play with real, human players that you can interact with and even talk to over dms in-game. However, some of these people are better than others. Like in real life, people will become your ally only to backstab you in the end. Some players are just straight up toxic and destroy your nation just to destroy it and then make fun of you for losing. While I do love this game, I stopped playing because of some of the people. Don’t think for a second, though, that there aren’t also amazing people who play this game. You’ll just run into bad apples along the way. Each game you play is also ALWAYS completely different than the last because of the endless possibilities with politics and warfare you can get into. Anyways, amazing game. Definitely 5 stars. ✓ Golden, but 1 thing…Hello, I’ve been coming back to Call of War for a bit now but now I am just doing as good as I was back in the day. I love the real time strategy and the expansion of options us players can use, I myself love a good Naval-Air Force combo, to defeat said enemies. But one thing I recommend is to cancel attacks, while the troops are attacking. This just happened in a game not to long ago where me and a non coalition ally accidentally pressed peace whilst our troops were inside each others borders as of the right of way option. We have been trying to solve this for about 30 mins. and decided that the rest of the troops should just duke it out and then trade provinces when it’s over. Please consider this in y’all’s next update. I’m sure it will come in handy for beginners and clumsy player like myself. Thank you and keep up the good work..Version: 0.133

It has been well made with all the provinces to capture and major points but I can identify 2 problems. 1: is the unfairness of the country’s inherited what I mean by that is that say if all the country’s like Germany and Britain are taken and your left with Belgium your a tiny country stuck in between France and Germany. And my second problem is that players just stop playing once they join and it takes most of the fun out I find this game at its best when you both have to out manoeuvre each other because it’s a strategy game not just you steamrolling through a country which is left uncontrolled by a player but I feel like these are quite difficult problems to fix.Version: 0.15
✓ Really fun.... most of the timeI’ve had this game for probably 3 months now and am mostly enjoying it. It’s the closest thing you’ll find to hoi 4 (hearts of iron 4) on your phone. The base mechanics and play are great. There are a few minor bugs that can be annoying at times, but usually a quick refresh fixes them right away. Now my real problem with this game is the currency. I wish I had ads popping up every time I opened a different active game instead of them getting their money this way. I’ve played through 4 full matches and each time I’ll spend a week or more prepping an invasion and once I do it will catch the country off guard, but then they’ll spend twenty or so dollars and produce so many troops that I get overwhelmed. Then it was all for nothing. I feel that the currency is the only major problem in the game that needs to be fix, or preferably removed..Version: 0.28

However I’ve noticed it’s impossible to go from enhanced graphics and then back again for my phone. ✓ A great strategy game!This isn’t the most popular game but that doesn’t stop it from being a great game. It requires a great deal of strategy to become a good player and there are a lot of noobs in this game which either don’t take this game too seriously or don’t have friends to play with. I have both, it’s a very intense game which puts your strategy mind to the test, This means you need to put some time and effort into the game to get results. I would also recommend playing with friends, it makes the game so much better when you work as a team to conquer the world. There is definitely a clear barrier between skill levels so I wouldn’t recommend being too relaxed in this game otherwise a sweat will come along and quickly wipe you out. When starting the game you should join an active coalition that can help you win, even better would be if they are good (you can tell this by their k/d ratio) then if they are nice they can teach you to become better at the game, and when you start winning the game is so much better..Version: 0.83
✓ Great game but needs some fixingFirst off I just want to commend you guys on this game and how good it is. There isn’t much to complain about except recently I started a pacific conquest match and it seemed out of date like how it takes 5 days to build a rail road gun and ages to build other things like building up your army. I feel that the game is also a bit to slow and it is so slow that I have rarely win because I had enough points, but because of a coalition win where I was still not finished taking a country. When I downloaded this I thought it would be a meh type game but it has turned out to be fantastic. Only problem is just a few times it goes black screen for a few seconds. ✓ Great Game. Just a few minor things.This game is great. You need to develop a good strategy if you want to last. There is a lot of depth and one game can last up to a month. It would be nice to limit how much money people can spend in game to make it a bit more fair but the problem isn’t as big as some people make it seem. Like Ottoman Empire for Turkey, Persia for Iran, and etc. It just rubs me the wrong way to see East Yakutia having control over most of Russia and Central Asia and still being called East Yakutia. ✓ Good game but needs workNot long ago I started playing call of war. I was playing as Poland which will be important later. I enjoy how the game works and how similar it is to supremacy. It really is just a smaller scale version of it. I like that you made sure the fortified positions weren’t as annoying as they were on supremacy. 15% is much more reasonable. But how can destroyers not fire on land? And what did you do to the attack bombers? I send 8 out of a attack on 1 anti air gun 1 armoured car and 9 infantry and they lose half their health and only inflict two damage! This is ridiculous. This needs to be updated. The reason it is important I played as Poland is because Denmark. Why the hell does Denmark have an island 500miles away from the rest of their territory? Couldn’t you make it be owned by Greenland? ✓ Pretty good consideringI played 2 full rounds and have to say it was pretty fun. Most games on mobile devices are a money trap and this game wouldn’t be one if players would play fairly and not “buy gold” in order to speed up timers. I’ve played war games before that had no real purpose or end; this one does have an end which is nice. I know the developers need to get paid etc but I wish they would make a variation that charged players like $15-20 for a round and didn’t allow gold purchasing. This way they’d still make money but would keep players from getting fed up and leaving. When a player sees that they have no chance of winning without buying their way to victory like some players do they leave. A “Pay to play per round” could be an updated option that many serious players that actually have skill and brains would like. I probably would continue playing but know I won’t have a chance at winning without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars which I know some people do. That’s no fun..Version: 0.151
✓ Excellent Game but has a few flawsThis is a great game, and can get addictive very quickly. It’s the closest thing to HOI4 on the App Store, is regularly updated, well maintained and has some tactical skill involved with it. However, the issues I can name are the numerous bugs for mobile users e.g not being able to join and alliance, occasionally freezing on the loading screen and the diplomatic, information and messaging tabs getting mixed up. Also, there are some strategic options that are not there. It turns into whoever has more divisions win rather than having to make any decisive decisions. There should be things such as ‘Encircled units receive 50% more damage’ or ‘*name of country* capitulates’ if they lose too many cities (I know I am just taking many of these ideas from HOI4 but it’s what I believe will make the game more fun and decisive). More positive comments I can say are that this is very historically immersing such as Poland having less divisions than Germany etc, and you should leave it like that, and not try to over-balance the game too much. All in all it’s an excellent game and I recommend to all strategy fans out there..Version: 0.15
✓ The best strategy game of WW2. Bad moderators.I love this game and have been playing it since 2015, a little after it came out, but something I don’t like in it is the treatment from moderators. I have been kicked out of games with no explanations whatsoever, even when games are almost finished. I awoke during the night needing a drink and picked my phone up spent 10 minutes checking the game over doing a couple things like training more troops etc then went back to sleep. Awoke again today to find that Libya was siding with the Nazis and that they had attacked Greece (allies) and taken some of the Greek islands which me (Morocco) and Algeria are both allied with along with Great Britain France USA and Canada etc. I am currently getting ready to leave the coalition and take the fight to Libya. Both Libya and Algeria seem to be turning a blind eye to everything I have said in the messenger section of the game so I’m left with no choice but to leave the coalition. 10 out of 10 so far. The newspaper section is particularly cool. I announced that me (Morocco) was unpleased with Libya and anybody else in the game will be able to see that. ✓ DoctrinesI joined this game in November of 2018 and have played for usually about 8 months at a time and then fall off for a bit... Just yesterday I began playing again for the first time in probably 6 months and their are certainly differences. I agree with most of them but I don’t like the introduction of doctrines personally. I don’t feel like certain nations should have a ‘booster’ or ‘perk’ based off of a doctrine. I feel like it makes me less immersed in global, attritional combat and makes the game seem more arcadey. I’m sure I’m in the minority with this feeling so I’m fine with it being added, just please allow people to either toggle it off or join game modes that don’t have the doctrines in place. Personally I only really play 1939 Historic World War and a couple of event modes so as long as that has a non-doctrine mode I’m fine. Other then that I do like the majority of the improvements and despite the game still crashing a lot, it seems it doesn’t do it quite as much as before. Say you begin building a unit and up on the top of the menu you’ll see the unit being built and the remaining time it has. Here’s the thing to that goofy setup. To exit that menu you obviously have to hit “X” but exactly right below it is the “use gold to speed production button”. I went from 30k gold to 22k. Just because my fat finger hit it before the “X” :( I mean it’s my bad but maybe implementing a “Are you sure you want to use x amount of gold to speed production?” That should be put in whenever you choose to use gold. Because it gives the player that extra decision if he/she wants to go through with it. Just an idea being throw out there. :D The game however is awesome. Best of all, the real-time game play (i.e. time moves at the same speed as in real life) changes everything and allows for some interesting strategies. A World War I game mode with older tech would be cool. The tech tree could develop up to World War II tech. #2. A Cold War game mode would also be nice, with the tech tree spanning from post-World War II to 1989 technology. That’s it. I especially like the new “1.5” game modes. This game is great because you have lots of choices on what you want to do, and the fact that you can interact and form coalitions with actual people is great, not just bots. There will be some bots in your games, but they’re easy to conquer and will not be a big deal if you aren’t fighting on two fronts. If you don’t like to have to wait 7hrs for your tank to produce, 5 for your AA gun, then you’ll love swift strike. It takes much less time to move units, produce, research and build things like barracks. The only somewhat major drawback to the game is pay to win. This is not much of a problem though, as a surprise attack from two other nations could bring you down, even if you have high command and lots of gold, I know from experience. You do have to wait a bit but that is to be expected of a game of this type, the troops training times can be decreased without the use of ads and in a realistic Fashion! ✓ Fun, but needs solution for inactivesMany other reviews touched on why this game is very fun. The real time movement is nice, and allows you to really plan out what you want to do. Biggest issue is inactive players. Most maps are designed for 20 some players, but by the end of the first day at least half have gone inactive and then several more go inactive on the second day. These players are then just replaced by AI which are better than nothing I guess, but they are not as strategic or aggressive as real players, and they also cannot interact diplomatically, so it really waters down the game when there are 20+ armies but only like 6 active players and just a slew of non-threatening AI. I’d like to see the inactives replaced by real players. Yes, it is difficult to join an ongoing game, especially with a handicap of having an army that has been inactive for a couple days while everyone else has been growing theirs, but maybe offer some gold or other rewards for filling in, or especially if replacements manage to win, then there would at least be some incentive for them to join and keep games fully active..Version: 0.108

I played Conflict of Nations Ww3 and this is way better for just a few reasons I’m about to mention. First, they don’t just throw you into the game and make you figure it out. ✓ Great Game, But some bugs... please readAbout a week ago I found my old copy of Hearts of Iron 4 and it made me want to play it but I didn’t have my pc system anymore, I really wanted to play that game so i looked it up on the app store just to see if anything would pop up. Instead of finding a exact copy on the iPhone I found this game. I have now been playing it for a wee and have loved it. This is the best game that I have on my phone now. I have gotten a few of my friends to play and the game is the best online game for the iPhone. I do wish that there were more options for some things, I wish there was some kind of political system where you can see and decide who the leader of your country is and what political system they follow and you and your other like minded players can spread your ideas. I also wish there were better ways to get resources faster. The only two annoying bug that I have ran into so far is, every time that you try to type, it works just fine then it has a white box under the rest of the game and it wont go away. I have played on Mobile and It works extremely well and I play on I phone 8 so that’s super surprising. The function of chatting with others takes it beyond most of the games that I’ve played. There is so many personalities while some toxic and a small amount just horrible the majority in my experience have been helpful and got along. The only reason why I demoted to 4 stars is one experience with the third category of personalities that I listed. ✓ Call of War ReviewI was playing a game of Call of War as the Russian Empire with my friends Germany, Greater Finland and Communist Russia. About a week into the game we took over Asia and Europe. We started to get on everyone’s target list and we started getting attacked. About 3 weeks into the game I got Nuclear Rockets and started dominating the battle field. We eventually won the game as a Coalition, overall great game. For the developers: Make the unit routes the fastest, I wanted to go through a country but it was saying it would take 3 days to go over sea just to move to a country. ✓ Best Strategy Game PeriodI was a huge risk fan for most of my life and was browsing the App Store one day and found this. I played it and loved it from the start. I love the fact that you have to be persistent and intelligent in this game to win. It’s a very rewarding experience to win because of how long each game takes. Love having to manage economy, diplomacy, and military to win and I feel that each of those factors are balanced well. I also like that you don’t have to play the game for a long period of time daily to do well, makes the game flexible with real life and jobs and daily activities. Unless you are playing a super speed map you can get away with not logging on for a day. It’s so satisfying to work hard building economy early game and strategizing against other intelligent enemies to try to sneak attack them or exploit weaknesses. ✓ Fantastic Mobile GameThe game is historically accurate, and the choices are honestly endless. I’m not kidding when I say there are so many combinations and ways to win. The game also has multiple scenarios and ways to win the game. You can talk with your adversaries and friends and can form an alliance to win the match. On top of that, you can trade with others and negotiate resources and land that you occupy. There is a global chat where you can talk to pretty much everyone that owns the game and a help section where helpful admins and whatnot help you in any way the can. There is no reason for you not to download this fun WW2 game as each actions takes hours to occur, meaning you can play this on your free time with not too much dedication. ✓ Beware of gold buyersGreat strategy game although the strategy can be ruined by people who pump money into the game buying gold, their needs 100 players games possibly with entry only for high command players and no gold allowed etc. gold players don’t realise they're not actually using any strategy on a strategy game and try to pay to win… so more gold excempt public lobbies would be cool. Also some things would be cool to be added such as team mates sharing carriers, carriers able to have nukes on and rocket fighters etc. Also some of the admins who play the game are corrupt cheaters (CoulroPhobia and Ivan Bukovec) for example who temporarily remove players from games to get an advantage when they are losing..Version: 0.153
