This COULD be a great service. But...I am a sole proprietor with an iPhone X and thought this would be a great way to use one cell phone for personal and business calls. I’ve spent thousands in marketing material to advertise the MyNumbers phone number I got. The app itself seems fine. The only problem is, the call service has been extremely unreliable. Dropped calls, horrible audio quality, and calls that never ring through. I even lost a client because they couldn’t reach me. Meanwhile, my main personal number can make and take calls just fine. I called Verizon for help and they told me someone would call back within 24 to 48 hours. No one ever called. I went to my local Verizon store and no one there had ever even heard of this app or the service! Their recommendation was to upgrade to the latest iPhone and to port the number to a new plan. Only problem is they couldn’t port the number from within Verizon! They had to call their own customer support and the recommendation was to port my number out to Google Voice for a couple of days and then port it back to Verizon under a new plan. Ridiculous! If you’re a small business owner, do yourself a favor and get a business plan from the beginning. This has become a nightmare from a business standpoint. Verizon, please...you have to figure this out!.Version: 2.13

Easy, cheap, but inconsistentAdding another number has been so easy and convenient while saving money. Easy to switch over to the other number. However, I have had several complaints about the number is not working on many occasions. This has been an on and off problem..Version: 2.8

Horrible appI have had this My Numbers subscription for almost a year now and it is absolutely terrible. Calls drop constantly, after 1 min of talking to someone it will go silent. I use this as a second number for my work and it is extremely disappointing when I have to consistently tell my clients the call dropped or they cannot hear me. Lousy app so far.VERY disappointed with Verizon in regards to this app. They should not launch a service that is not supported yet. NO PHONE NUMBERS AVAILABLE??? No numbers in San Antonio, Phoenix to name a few. I have had many calls to Verizon with long hold times, only to be told there is nothing they can do and no eta when numbers will ever be allocated to my numbers. UnreliableUsing this for an extra business line and it’s pretty much garbage. I miss calls that ring once, then try to call that number back and half the time I get a call failed error. While on the phone the call quality is terrible, breaks up, and is just plain unreliable. If you’re using this for a business I’d strongly recommend looking at other options. I’m in the Columbus Ohio metro area so there should be no reason for the terrible call quality and constant issues with this app..Version: 2.13

Service does not work as advertisedAs others have mentioned, I made the mistake of using the my numbers app to add a business line. I had no idea that if the app signed out for any reason, then nobody would be able to call me. Fortunately, I have figured out what was going on and I at least know that anytime my phone reboots or needs an update I need to make sure I sign back into the app again. Since I have already given this business line out to hundreds of people, I am now stuck with it. This is clearly my stupidity for making myself rely on a number like this without truly understanding how it worked, but I’m more than slightly annoyed with Verizon for offering this broken product..Version: 1.8

Seriously?I don’t understand why Verizon always insists in overcharging customers than the rest of the competitors. $15 for an additional phone number. And that’s not including taxes and fees. T-Mobile is $10 a month. And they released this feature about two years ago. More expensive doesn’t mean better. Verizon continues to be a disappointment..Version: 1.04

Bad receptionI obtained a My Numbers account to use as my business number on my personal cell phone. Reception is horrible. Weird how calls coming into my personal Verizon number are crystal clear but My Numbers calls coming in to the same cell phone, at the same location are terrible. If I didn’t have the My Numbers phone number on my business cards I would cancel the service..Version: 2.13

Fundamental Bug - Multiple BillingsI launched the app a week ago and it had forgotten who I was and that I already had a subscription. It’s only option was to subscribe. Thinking that it would log me back in, I clicked it, entered my phone number, it found my previous MyVerizonNumber and things were fine until I got the bill. They had BILLED ME TWICE for the same number. Calling support they sent me to two different levels and realized the it is obviously a bug that it won’t give the option to log back in. You read correctly, once your logged out of the app (software update, or clicking sign out) it won’t let you log back in without subscribing again and charging you again for the same line). Ended up scrapping the whole service and giving up my phone number as a result. DO NOT USE. Instead use a VoIP service (google voice, etc) or if your phone has dual sims (my iPhone has an esim) you can use that for your second line..Version: 1.1

25+ Year Verizon Customer that is Extremely UNHAPPY!!As a long time Verizon Customer for personal and business use I have become continually frustrated in the last year by the poorer reception (I live in a busy area), a recent insurance claim that went horrible, and now trouble with this App (for the ???th time) again that I have also sought assistance on more times than I can count. In fact… I have sought assistance with Verizon in this last year more times than I have in all of the years since I became customer - combined. I have also spent more money (including on this App) - for a product that never works, and has actually caused me more headaches than has actually helped me. One would think that they would at least try to take care of a customer that has been with them as long as myself, and pays for the highest plan….but apparently that isn’t the case either. So instead of using my $700 credit to upgrade my phone, I am now instead leaving my first review and will now be shopping a different carrier. Something I never thought I would do. Please do DO NOT GET THIS APP. Save yourself the time and frustration..Version: 2.14

Worthless ServiceI purchased a number for my business and have attempted to make calls. The call are made over an internet connection. It’s not like a conventional cell phone connection from what I can tell. Call quality is so bad the service is unusable. It doesn’t matter whether I connect to wi-fi or use my data connection. Does not work wellI have been using Verizon Mynumbers for almost 2 years now. It allows me to use one cell phone for personal and business. The problem is it is extremely unreliable. My personal iPhone and number works fine but the Mynumbers calls are intermittent at best. I often get incoming calls that do not pick up. I also often try to make calls that the phone delays for 6-10 seconds and then gives me a failed call message. I love the idea and for $15 a month it works OK but it is frustrating and not reliable at all…especially for business calls..Version: 2.19

Drops calls, call quality crap, numerous issuesStay away from this app. Get a real line and don’t bother, this app will not notify you when someone is calling, I missed a full half day of calls from prospective customers. It also has this awesome habit of dropping calls when you answer forcing the person to callback multiple times. Waste of time and money. Incredibly disappointed. DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!! Worst app and worst customer service ever! DO NOT GET THIS APP!Do not get this app! This app worked worked once, then it glitched and locked me out. There is not a way to log back into the app. I cannot access any of the app features, except a new subscription screen where it wants me to sign up and charge me another monthly fee for another subscription/phone number. I don’t want another number. I want this one removed. I have called customer support several times and no one seems to know anything about this app. I asked for the number to be removed from my account and to stop billing me for a service that doesn’t work. They have been “unable” to remove it, saying I need to cancel the app via the app. I can’t access the cancel feature due to their glitch, so I am still getting charged. No one seems willing to help. If I could give Zero stars...This app is absolutely terrible. This is not a solution if you are trying to use for a business line. Calls drop constantly, audio breaks up EVERY SINGLE CALL and calls often have trouble connecting to call server. Do better, Verizon! I expected more from Verizon with this appWhen people call me, it will ring once, then stop, ring again, stop and ring again, 3-5 times. I’m not sure if the app hangs up on them on the first ring and all the customers keep trying to call back, but if that’s the case, this app is making me look like a complete jackass to my customers. Either way, this app is full of issues. Calls drop... Text don’t go through… The user interface isn’t exactly 2022 looking either… feels like I’m using my 2011 Droid 2 again to be honest.. If the iPhone version of the app had a more iPhone style UI for texting and calls, it would be much more appealing to use as well. I’ll keep it for now, but if it’s seen no real improvements in terms of proper functionality by April, I’ll be getting rid of it and changing my review to a 1-Star rating..Version: 2.19

Line is always busyWas trying to use this app for a business line, it worked for a week or so, I put the number on signs and business cards only to be told that when customers attempt to call the number they get a “User Busy” screen and then are disconnected. Have been on the phone with Verizon for an hour, updated my phone, changed my voicemail, tried on and off wifi, all to no avail. Please help!! Does it work?The app isnt working to authenticate my primary number and customer service isnt even aware of this app to help. I downloaded this app because my personal phone bit the dust. Good idea, bad executionI have been using this for 9 months now. For me, nothing has changed since day 1. Constantly dropped calls, calls not coming thru, and bad service. All while my normal number continues to receive and send calls and texts flawlessly. This makes no sense. ZERO STARS - Scam and fraud from Verizon - ZERO STARS1. Does not have the slightest semblance of working. 2. There is no support. 3. Other reviews are correct Verizon will keep on billing you after you cancel. 4. Verizon support doesn’t even know this app exists. Vm issueNot the greatest. Expensive. Can't delete voicemails. Come on now! Really! Update. Had to reinstall 3 times to be able to get vm to delete. Now if I can only figure out how to create my own custom voice mail message.....Version: 1.04

Over itSpend 50 mins waiting on customer service line for the representative to not even know what it is. The app does not work. When I attempted to obtain a new number it keeps saying no new numbers available. I was transferred to IT only for an automated voice to state they’re busy and unable to assist me and hung up. Went to chat to see if someone could help and it’s been 30 mins a rep can’t even help me. I’ll cut my losses. Verizon has the worst customer service..Version: 2.18

Double charged and failed to cancel subscriptionDouble charged my account. Verizon reps were not familiar with this app or how to problem solve a recurring subscription. Tried to fwd calls and its not an option. Cannot have the calls go to my regular dialer like other apps. Wanted Verizon instead of others for more security and privacy. Oxymoron maybe. But places like Bob’s VOIP Second Line just don’t make me feel very private. I wanted to forward the calls to my office when I am off work, but this service does not recognize *72 commands as valid. Not like a real phone line does. Cannot turn off the voicemail either, it can only be reset to default greeting. Verizon doesn’t treat this number like a true second line, if it did many of these options would be available. For 5 more dollars a month (20) I can have a whole second phone and put it away when I am not working then not have to worry about forgetting to turn off notifications and such. I would only use this My Numbers app if it were $8 a month instead of $15. There are many cheaper options for those of you not so concerned about client privacy. I prefer legit establishments for that reason and so wont use those $5 cheapies! Also, ringtone and call quality fluctuates in volume during incoming calls and live calls..Version: 2.4

GarbageKeeps crashing as soon as I open the app. Happened as soon as I upgraded to ios15. Un and re-installed multiple times. Contacting support only gets you a canned response where they want you to open the app and send them the error logs. Guess what Verizon, I can’t open the app because it keeps crashing..Version: 2.17

Didn’t work for meI did not have a good experience with this app and regret that i spent $15 plus tax for 1 month for nothing. I could make calls and I could hear the person I was calling but they could not hear me at all. Tried multiple times over several days with the same frustrating results. DisappointingHow could there be no phone numbers available in a major US city? We have 5 area codes here. No customer support options within the app (or through My Verizon account) to ask questions so I had to wait on hold for a tech support rep to tell me he can’t help me. It works fine until you get logged outThere is no way to log in to the app if it logs you out. The only links available are “learn more” and “subscription plan”. And trying to get support from Verizon sends you into an infinite loop of chatting -> technical support -> digital chatting -> technical support, because it’s a “third party app” and no one knows how to get around it. The advice I got was to uninstall and reinstall the app, which as you can imagine does absolutely nothing. I’ve stupidly given this phone number out for business as I’m self-employed, and I’ve wasted literally an hour on this issue. My customers don’t care that my excuse for not responding is that I couldn’t log in to the app! I’m really disappointed that Verizon would associate themselves with an app that has such a huge glaring flaw in it. :(.Version: 1.8

UnderdevelopedCalls are received and then dropped upon answering. Missed calls are received without ringing. The app crashes frequently. Numbers cannot be copied and pasted from the application. Contact filters don’t allow for filtering contacts only uploaded in the my numbers application. The interface response time often delayed. It doesn’t allow you to create a full contact, it excludes emails and addresses of a contact It has a lot of potential but needs significant improvements. It seems half baked especially for Verizon. (Even more so for a paid service).Version: 2.3

It’s unimpressive and the reviews are right.I did this for a business line on my cell phone and I frequently have missed call alerts come up without even having my phone ring. Or I get the missed call alert and then my phone rings with that call. It also tells me I miss a call when one does come though and I answer it. Its a great concept but very poorly executed. I wish they would just integrate this service into your regular phone service so you wouldn’t have to rely on an app that is spotty at best..Version: 1.8

Great idea- just not reliableWhen receiving calls it drops after 20-25 seconds. If you have outbound calls it seems to work better. Phone volume is low, have to use wireless headset to hear better. Features like creating contacts inside the app does not work. You have to create on primary number phone book. Voicemail has no features, like no personal greeting. Billing renews every month, instead of when choose to deactivate number or numbers..Version: 1.06

Great possibilitiesI love my numbers but the system kept screwing up and would delete my voice mail messages, so after having the my messages deleted for the 3rd time, I cancelled the subscription. It was very disappointing but the service has a potential to be better!.Version: 2.19

Thanks, I hate it.I picked up an additional number for business calls, and put it on all my social media, and have dispersed 1200+ business cards with this number or I would delete it. If you don’t have good WiFi, you don’t get calls/messages, which means I could be under a bridge, or at chili’s, whatever, and it won’t work. Plus it logs me out all the time and I don’t get calls/messages for days until I happen to realize it. And apparently there is a limit to how many texts you can have and the rest fall off, so a text I was keeping for contact info got pushed down too far and is gone now, so I lost that business lead, thanks. Plus, the app is juvenile in design and function, a company as big as Verizon should be ashamed to put out such a garbage product..Version: 2.5.1

TERRIBLE!!If I could give no stars, I would. I downloaded the app, got my number, made a few calls and text to make sure it worked well, and within a few days I opened the app and it wanted me to start all over. Even went so far as to get Verizon to check fur my phone number it gave me and there was no record of it. But they got my money! Haven’t been able to use it since. Not reliable for businessI used this for my business line so I could use my cell phone for personal and business use. It seems to work fairly reliably for texting. But for phone calls...nope. A customer just told me they couldn’t get through no matter how many times they called. Another customer called and went straight to voicemail, the phone never rang on my end. Terrible service in all regardsDo not get this app. I repeat, DO NOT GET THIS APP. Service is terrible. It’s the glitchiest app I’ve ever used. I had it saying I missed 34 phone calls in a row in less than 3 minutes. No one was calling. Couldn’t answer or reject the call. It just took over my phone and locked itself out while ringing constantly. On top of all this, Verizon reps in stores as well as multiple store managers have never even heard of this app or service. Poor QualityApp seemed to work okay for a while. Now I can’t open it without it being logged out and takes multiple attempts for data to resync and then one you close the app it it logs out immediately. I am running the most recent version. Verizon needs to step up their game and fix this. Many people seem to have problems in the app but Verizon just collects our money while letting it continue to deteriorate. No custom voicemail?This would be perfect if I could get a custom voicemail. I just started a new job and have to provide my own device, which is fine. I’m tired of carrying 2 devices. UNRELIABLE!!!Don’t bother with this app. I made the mistake of getting it when I needed a work phone line (like other reviewers). Can’t Authenticate My NumberI was really excited for this feature so I could finally leave Google Voice, but it won’t authenticate my primary number. It works for the other number on my line, but not my primary. I’ve called customer service and tech support and no one knows what the issue is. Some don’t even know this feature exist. Customer service have never heard of this appI have been on the phone with Verizon Customer Service representatives for over three hours trying to fix an issue. The issue was that a blocked number calls my phone daily six times in a row, it rings half a ring end it doesn’t even tell me which of my numbers they’re trying to call. When you call customer service, they spend 30 minutes on the phone just looking up what MyNumbers is and then start transferring you all over the place because they are clueless. All of the numbers that I signed up for and have been paying for do not even show up in my dashboard. Garbage... Hot garbage..Version: 2.18

Not Useful, autobills after canceling serviceThe extra number provided is not accepted by Google, Twitter or eBay as a valid number to verify an account. I cancelled the service, received confirmation and then have autobilled renewal charges for new months. Customer support is pretty useless. Avoid using this service (and it’s probably not useful for to start or verify an account online so just skip it all together if that’s what you are looking for).Version: 2.4

Horrible appGot excited to know that A traditional phone company is trying to catch with the communication revolution and adapting to the new methods of communication abundance but unfortunately great disappointment, has been Verizon’s customers or several ears and it didn’t even identify my number and gives an error message that is can not connect to the sever !!! Really you are introducing a multi number plan and you cannot connect to the server tried WiFi and LTE connection without success called customer service they barely new what I am talking about Shame on you Verizon have you heard of pilot phase for a product try that first before introducing a disaster.Version: 1.04
