Charged for food I never got, no way to refundI used the app to order-ahead a meal at my local shop. When I got there, they didn’t have my items at all. But they said they couldn’t refund purchases made through the app; I have to call the contact number in the app. But there is no contact number in the app, no customer support link. So the app took my money, didn’t supply the product, and has no way for me to get it fixed. The app also doesn’t let you see details on past orders..Version: 3.19.0

Functional but not helpfulThe app generally is easy to navigate but making any adjustments to your order is not allowed. Say for example I wanted to order a sandwich but I was allergic to one of the items. There’s no way to go in and ask that that item not be put on your sandwich. You can only order any of their items as is. If you require any adjustment to your sandwich you have to order in store. Which is definitely unfortunate because I’d probably go here more if I didn’t have to wait in line to order something more specific..Version: 3.35.6

Order HistoryYou can’t see your past orders in the app which is really inconvenient when they get something wrong because you can’t show them what you ordered exactly unless you have the receipt. It only shows that you ordered and that you paid but not exactly what you ordered. I hope they add this function in other updates. Other than that app works fine. Wish they offered for of their menu items, but I don’t know if that varies by location..Version: 3.19.3

Shopping cart is uselessI tried creating an order six times today because I would hit a button that would take me out of the ordering system and clear my cart in the process and completely start me over, which included a number of times where it had server connection issues during the third or fourth time when I finally was at the end. As a result, I had my order get screwed up because I had missed one piece on the sixth time ordering. Thankfully, the store was incredibly helpful in supporting me in the messed up order. Also, their customization doesn’t give all ingredients in their sandwiches. My wife had a weird tomato mayo spread on it that was not in the description, and I had no way to say I didn’t want it because I didn’t even know it was on it. This needs to be a lot better..Version: 3.17.3

Could be betterNice app to use and order ahead. Noah’s has the best bagels. Great taste and great price. Nice perks for signing up and a nice way to earn points towards free food. The problem I have with this app is that every time I try to make an order it says oops something went wrong and then I clear the app and then I try to re-order and it says oops something went wrong. I think there are some bugs that are preventing me from ordering on the app because I’ve tried two different locations a few times and every time I try to place an order it says oops something went wrong now I’m just not even gonna use it today and eat somewhere else..Version: 4.1.1

Email can’t be updated / account hackedI received a notification someone hacked my account. Luckily I do not save my credit card on file and keep the balance of a previous transaction which is barely nothing. I will never leave money on this account or load a gift card since your account can be hacked, Noah’s customer service provides no responsive and they is zero way to change your email through the app. I have reached out to customer support on a few occasions to change my email on file as I can not perform this transaction through the app on my end. After 3 attempts, I still have not received a response even with including my account has been hacked. I do not trust the security of this app and am gravely disappointed in the lack of attention immediacy this should receive. If you don’t care about your customers nor their accounts, at least provide me with the courtesy to change my email on file personally without your assistance - especially being assistance has not been attempted. Great app and wonderful offers!I love going to Noah’s, as I cover lunch for my kids for a couple of days and everyone is happy. The only drawback is that I can’t order a dozen bagels and pick the bagels that I like. I’m forced to order in person. Another drawback is that, if I want to earn points for my in-person order, I have to enter my phone number at the cash register and it causes delays in finalizing my order. The staff is polite, but I can clearly see that they aren’t happy with the delay. By allowing me to order a custom dozen bagels on the app, I will solve both problems!.Version: 3.30.0

Worst food app!Can’t customize and backwards. It charges your card and then brings you back to the order page to ask timing. The result of this is that I thought I ordered but it never went through because I didn’t confirm time. Why would they charge your card and make it appear as the order went through when it’s still looking for information???!!! And, this isn’t the first time the app didn’t work correctly. Switching to other bagel place in my area because of this. So incredibly frustrating..Version: 4.0.4

No place to view order historyJust downloaded this app because I love Noah’s Bagels. However, I had some issues getting my order fulfilled. There is no place in the app to show your order history, making the whole exchange confusing for everyone. Also, if you select the curbside option, there is no place to notify the team you are here. And the only description you can provide for your vehicle is the color and the vehicle type, no make or model. I drive a White Sedan, along with many others in the parking lot. Why not include a box to simply describe the make of your car to assist the Noah’s team in finding the right car? Great bagels! The app just needs several small improvements..Version: 3.22.1

App reflective of bad serviceThis app is great to order ahead but has flaws - first the options to customize order are limited and don’t reflect all possible choices - you can’t customize on a nox sandwich and other sandwiches to remove items. This reflects poor service and training since they want to limit what they want their employees can or cannot do. Second flaw is you can’t see what you’ve just ordered. It shows you ordered but no details. If you don’t take a snapshot before you order you have no proof if your order is right or wrong. Again reflective of bad service. It’s a shame Noah’s doesn’t value customer service as shown here and some other reviews. Good food and good service makes a great company and Noah’s is falling short in service dept..Version: 3.24.1

But what can it do??Downloaded this app so I could place an order for pick-up, and it doesn’t even do that well. Take note: the opening screen is the only way to place an order; it’s not in the menu or anyplace else in the app. Beyond that poor user design, the app doesn’t include any prices, even once you select the store location, and it’s not possible to place an order outside of regular business hours. So after some effort, I can’t even plan my event spend using this app. I might as well save space on my phone and just call them in the morning or drive over and stand in line. Oh yeah, Safeway is right next to Noah’s, so maybe I’ll just buy some cupcakes for the office and be done before the morning..Version: 3.37.0

Glitches at checkoutThis app used to function normally, but now it glitches right when you're trying to check out and after you have put all the effort into placing your order. I've started it over again a few times and it won't work. The last time it actually debited my account via Apple Pay, but didn't show the order as being successfully processed. I went in anyway, sat through the line, which is what I was trying to avoid, and showed them the app, and they had my order, even though it didn't reflect it in the app. Ridiculous. Also, they took away the option to double toast your bagel in the app..Version: 4.1.1

Terrible App, Don’t botherDownloaded the app for the first time and could not place an order at any location near me. It kept giving me a message that something had gone wrong when I tried to complete my order. I deleted the app and tried again, still the same. Then I called multiple stores to place an order and was told at one store they were too busy and at another placed on hold and met by an abrupt woman who showed now interest in helping me. I need customer service support please!!!I’m trying to reach customer service, so I’m hoping someone responds to this. I just need help resetting my password. That’s it. There is no customer service number that I can find, and I’ve submitted multiple requests for help through the website’s customer support ‘email us’ page. It’s now been two MONTHS and I can’t get help, not even from the clerks at my local Noah’s store. They just tell me to use the website’s email contact form, which hasn’t worked for me. I get no reply. The problem is that the app won’t allow me to log in. Every time I press the login button, the app routes me to the Sign Up page, which of course already recognizes my phone number and email as being associated with an account. At some point during my attempts to login, the app prompted me to change my password, but when I try that, I never receive an email with a link to reset it (yes, I’ve checked every folder, trust me). So I’m stuck in an endless loop where I can’t login because it thinks I’m trying to sign up, and I can’t change my password, and I’ve sent multiple requests for help through the Noah’s website with no response. Please help me, this is ridiculous. Is there any customer service number I can call to get help?.Version: 4.2.3

Worst restaurant/fast food app!!!Please make this app more efficient to use. Went to try and redeem a coupon for 1/2 dozen bagels but it seems to only be for online ordering to be used but doesn’t allow for us to choose which bagels we want. What if we have allergies and can’t have certain bagels??? Then when it comes to even redeeming the coupon it was difficult to figure out, even the store manager had a hard time figuring out how to redeem. Also current orders aren’t listed out it’s like it disappears even though I’ve submitted it. Anyhow, seems like this app isn’t user friendly at all!.Version: 4.2.3

Can’t customizeI decided to download the app after waiting in line for 20 minutes one morning before work. Nobody has time does that! I placed my first order and there is no way to say you want schmear on the side. I’m not complicated. Just want a bagel, untoasted, with schmear on the side. I want to toast it once I get to work so it’s crunchy and not soggy. Add the ability to customize orders and the app will be great. Go talk to your neighbors next door (Starbucks) to see how they do this. Nice interface. Clear pictures..Version: 3.25.1

No order receipt, history, nor refunds!I recently placed an order that my local Noah’s did not correctly fulfill. There is NO WAY to see the order that you placed, and no order history other than your balance of funds. You can’t show the store what you ordered! You can’t view or cancel an order you placed 5 seconds ago! Luckily the store has a record of what you ordered (obviously), but they can’t refund you in the app! You have to go back to the store to get a refund separately from the app! What an awful experience. I had to spend 40 minutes traveling round trip for an order my local Noah’s messed up. Not fun, and obviously no compensation for my time. Not even a free stale bagel. Fix your app! ALLOW US TO SEE WHAT WE ORDERED. ALLOW STORES TO REFUND DIRECTLY TO THE APP’S BALANCE!.Version: 3.15.0

No way to cancel or change an orderI ordered to the wrong location, realized immediately after placing the order and called immediately with about 30 minutes until it was supposed to be ready. I was told they have no mechanism to either cancel or change the order to the correct location. After going through a process and waiting over a month, I finally received my refund which I could not access as the app crashed every time I tried to use my credited refund (now resolved). All of this could’ve been avoided with some flexibility from the outset. All I needed to do is cancel and replace my order to the correct location. I’d also like to note that you can’t change the email address associated with your account. TLDR: Noah’s is great, their online services are not.Version: 4.1.1

Nice app with a major flawThe app was easy to set up and made ordering quick and easy. Unfortunately there isn’t any feedback mechanism: one of the kinds of bagels that I ordered apparently was out, so another was substituted without any confirmation. Either the app shouldn’t allow ordering what’s not available (probably hard to implement) or the store should contact the customer to find out the preferred substitution. The latter should be easy since the app has phone number and email address. I will not use this app in the future. I’ll place my order by calling the store, and if they can’t handle that I’ll buy bagels elsewhere..Version: 3.22.1

Do not use this appDo not use this app, if they don’t have the items you ordered they won’t bother to contact you and after you drive to the store and find out they have none of your food they make it impossible to get a refund. I ordered 2 egg sandwiches and 2 hash browns through their app. I drive all the way to the store and the foods not ready, so I ask about it and they don’t have the bagels I ordered, they don’t have the bacon for the sandwiches and they don’t have the hashbrowns I ordered either. They didn’t bother to contact me and tell me this so I drove there for nothing. Then… they won’t give me a refund! What?! The manager tells me to contact customer service. Then get this there is no customer service phone number, I have to fill out a form online, and still nobody has contacted me. I’ll never eat Noah’s bagels again and I definitely won’t order through the app. This is the worst customer service I’ve had. Seriously this company is ran by amateurs..Version: 3.32.0

First time user, confusing and buggyApp is unclear that it makes you preload funds for your purchase and then seemingly makes you pay again… i assumed the app was glitching, so i cancelled my order and put the exact same items in my cart, and then checked out with the preloaded funds. i ordered ahead of time, but navigated away from the completed order page… app is very unclear on how to view a current or past order - it only shows point history… no confirmation email either. i preordered for an event and now i have the stress of wondering if the order went through. if staff are confused or i need to check something, there’s no way to prove what i paid for or ordered. please add a function to view pending or past orders. this seems like a massive oversight or design flaw. if i couldn’t find the past orders, i’m willing to bet others have that issue too..Version: 4.0.4

Can't offer order details, unclear paymentFirst of all, it's crazy that I have to download an app to order, the website can't help, so there's all these extra steps. Now that I have the app, the breakfast BLT, which on the menu comes with a default of challah, didn't give challah as an option, and there was nowhere to put notes about the order Lastly, I click the payment of chin and it took me to Apple Pay like I would expect seem to take the payment, then put me back onto the payment screen and making it seem like I needed to pay again, and I have no way of knowing if my order went through, guess I'll just drive there and find out..Version: 4.0.3

NewatthisI also just downloaded the app Monday to order the bakers dozen and found I could not select the bagels I wanted... just the apps selection. In addition, the app would not let me input my credit card information after trying a few times. After calling and ordering over the phone, it was not clear if the intent is that you must have cc info to order from the app or you could select, pay in store option would be available. Absolutely GarbageI like Noah’s just fine, it’s a reasonably reliable bagel place. However when your app takes away literally all options to customize what is the point. When I went to order a nova lox sandwich they limited the bagels I could choose from, I could not remove any toppings or make a reasonable adjustment like switching type of cream cheese. Everyone from Starbucks to my local burrito place has figured out customization, and as someone who worked at Einsteins for too long I’ve seen the insane combinations people love. There’s absolutely no point in this app and it feels like a gimmicky and stupid way to force people to come to their stores..Version: 3.35.0

Needs workI just placed an order and need to confirm the location I just ordered… Surely I should be able to look at my account and see my previous order to confirm. Right? Nope. I had to bother a sales associate and confirm that my order was for the location I was at after “guessing” that I was at the right store. My local stores offer poppy seed bagels and I’d love to order a breakfast bagel with my favorite bagel. Surely I should be able to do that. Right? Nope. I have to choose from a pre-filled list of generic bagels to choose from, with no way to write in a custom note. I live equidistant from two stores. The one that is slightly further away is actually more convenient due to parking and traffic. Surely I should be able to choose that one as my favorite when placing orders. Right? Nope. I have to remember that this app will automatically choose the closest store when starting a new order. Come on Noah’s!!!.Version: 3.28.0

Okay app, annoying quirksOverall this app is basic but functions adequately. My main gripes are user experience related: 1) No option in the app to provide feedback like this. 2) Every time the app gets updated I need to log in again. Like most people, I have dozens of apps and this is the ONLY app which requires this extra step. 3) I stopped keeping money on the Noah’s app/account because (a) I don’t enjoy leaving my money sitting in their bank account, and (b) every other visit I need to reload money which is annoying and the reload process is very slow I like Starbucks’s app which reloads in a few seconds. 4) Would be great if I could pay via the Noah’s app and have the cost/charge instantly pass through Apple Pay to my payment card of choice. My user experience now requires asking the clerk to press a button on her/his screen to let me scan the app for points, scan the app, then ask the clerk to press another button to let me pay via Apple Pay, switch to Apple Pay on my phone, then tap to complete the transaction. I know these user experience issues are really minor and petty, but issues #2-4 annoy me to the point where I avoid going to Noah’s more regularly to save myself the frustration..Version: 3.35.0

Still needs more customization…Convenient only for the barcode feature at checkout when visiting or if you want the exact item offered. But if you want to customize a sandwich, or a bagel order in the morning with your favorite topping, forget it. Needs work. I’d easily give more stars for those options and visit more often if I could advance order what I want to save time for a grab and go..Version: 4.0.4

Reset pswd fails every time/ Order lostVery poor support. Tried to login Previous pswd appears not to work Reset never send reset email after 3 trys App opened suddenly. Looked like first login was taken. Created order for local Noah’s Went to Noah’s. Never heard of me or my order. I was supposed to get a free coffee. Clerk said no. Only with mobile order. Even though they lost the mobile order. Manager gave me free coffee with order. Still no reset email in spam or trash or inbox after 4 hours. Worthless app.Version: 4.2.3

Corporate Office is a JOKESince Corporate wants to ignore me, I’ll just make myself known here. I had an issue that I wanted to resolve with this company by calling them. They said they couldn’t do anything (didn’t even try) so I asked to speak to someone who could help me, they said they would pass the problem to their manager and that they would reach out to me in 2 business days (never did). So I contacted them online stating what happened, and their online system of contacting corporate gets you no where as well. I used to come here on the daily, but since I don’t matter to them, I’ll gladly take my business else where. Don’t bother calling corporate for a valid reason, cuz they will make you feel invalid and won’t even bother with you at all. Again, this company’s Corporate Office is a JOKE..Version: 3.13.1
