✓ Great but one of the worst gameplayThis game has so much potential and can be amazing but the game is so unplayable, every little move generates monsters that you have just killed, it not only makes game slow but you just keep dying. The devs forgot to put check flags and spawn monsters on every move even though you cleared that area. How can you enjoy the game when you can’t even move. Secondly even though you switch a character, it doesn’t move many times. Third a character that is so strong that it can kill your entire party multiple times dies in few shots when part of your party is so outlandish. The glitches, the jerks and bugs combined with being so slow due to constant spawning, makes it a worst game in my opinion despite having potential. ✓ Looks great. Plays great.It’s a pretty huge world and you can go off into sub quests and not be dragged into a linear game. Which is great because you can nip off on a sub quest to build your strength for a hard part of the game. Bit over heavy on rambling text expo at times but, for free, and with no pressure to buy, this is a solid purchase. ✓ Great game with game breaking issuesI believe that this is a superb JRPG for it being a free to play mobile game. I’m not going to nit pick the stuff about the gacha system and chrono stones. They aren’t perfect but I’m not complaining because the game is so well made. Actually only two things break this game. 1.)UPDATES- almost every update kills your game because you will receive an error 6 which states that you need to switch WiFi connections. Now if you search around a lot of people have this issue. Okay no problem right? Just delete and download again. Buuut the recovery system is worse than you think. Even if you connect to Facebook that doesn’t even do anything and to actually recover you need to remember ludicrous details of your last play such as specific number of chromos you had and what characters you had. This has been happening to people who have played and payed in game for a long time and people starting to play. They have everything perfect besides these 2 blaring issues. ✓ Constantly crashes, not worth playing.This game has been doing nothing but crashing, to the point I don’t even wanna play it anymore, it’s a great game, it’s fun and an good rpg but with it crashing every 5 minutes or less it’s become frustrating and aggravating to the point that it’s not worth playing. It’s not my internet since other games don’t crash and I haven’t had any issues with any other games except this one, it all started a week ago after your update, I’ve done research online and other people are experiencing the same crashing issues since your update and the company isn’t doing anything about it. Another thing that ruins this game is the horrible drawing rates for characters, I spent 2000 chrono stones in two separate limited drawings and got 4-5 ciels in each for a total of 9 ciels in 2 drawings where he wasn’t even a high rated character pick or the main characters to get, that’s ridiculous and seems like a rigged way to get people to spend more stones and buy more, also the prices to buy stones is ridiculous as well for a game with no multiplayer or online gameplay. ✓ Good game, but...This is a really solid old-style jrpg; it’s been a bit simplified for mobile, of course, but it has a lot of cool ideas, nice artwork & visual design, and some touching story moments. But I keep thinking that I’d like it so much better if it were a real jrpg, instead of being awkwardly forced into the freemium/gacha mold. Sure the game is very generous with free premium currency (at least until postgame), but there are way too many available characters, which undermines the narrative. Almost half of the 59 characters are just useless reskins; the other half actually have story quests (some of which are quite good!), but the sheer number of characters makes it hard to get attached to any of them, & means that most of their stories don’t have any depth. And of course 6 of the 59 characters are DRAMATICALLY more powerful than the rest (5-stars). This doesn’t actually affect story mode, surprisingly, because the difference only starts being noticeable at very high levels, but it still feels really bad to have collected 36 characters but still not have a single 5-star (5-stars have a level cap of 80, while everyone else has a level cap of 50-60; it makes absolutely no sense). Finally, the grind gets increasingly ridiculous as the game progresses. Old-style jrpgs had a lot of grinding, and that’s fine, but because this is freemium they added a six-hour timer on dungeons, and made the drop rates incredibly punishing. So you wait six hours to run a dungeon and then don’t even get a single drop of an item you need 30 of. This game is good, and if you don’t mind freemium/gacha nonsense I highly recommend it. ✓ I’m going to give it 3 stars for good reasonI’m one of the ones that preordered Another Eden, and honestly I enjoyed it, for a while. The interaction is great, the plot is awesome, the characters are great, and the graphics are pretty good, but in the back of my mind I could tell it was all to familiar, like it reminded me of something. I couldn’t put my finger on it until I met the amphibian that joins your party, Cyrus, and I thought, oh ok, this game is literally a off brand of Chrono Trigger. I read this game was made in part of chrono trigger, only problem is it’s very different. One of which was a issue to me was, you were only able to carry one item to heal yourself, which made entirely no sense to me. It’s a rpg you need extra items to heal your team as well as revive. And like chrono trigger there are no elements and no dual element attacks, which also makes no sense to me. Also every character looks like a off brand version of the ones in chrono trigger. I mean if you make a game that looks and feels exactly like chrono trigger, then why drastically change the main mechanics of the game. ✓ Beautiful game but ludicrous pricesI saw this game a while back with a friend of mine and we loved the idea and art style of it so we pre-ordered. The thing about this game is that it’s SP but also has gatcha in the form of hero summons. You get to pick the first one from a select amount of 4* heroes. The pre-order also gave you one of those heroes. The reason for my 3* rating is that you need an in app currency (Chronos Stones) to buy either a single for 100 CS or set (10) summons for 1000 CS to get new heroes. You earn a little bit at a time through records that the game tracks for you. At the moment there is a limited pack for 1000 CS that will get you at least one 5* hero. I only have 200 atm so I looked at the shop just to see their price. I was very shocked to find out that for 1000 CS it will cost you $24. The smallest amount you can get is for 25 CS and that will cost you $1. I don’t put money into gatcha games because of the rng with summoning but was willing to try at least for that limited 5* and support the developers. I won’t with a ludicrous price point that they currently have. ✓ Bad storytellingThe game is amazing in its character design, music and artwork, and the general direction of most stories are good as well. But that story telling is as if the writers only considered a good start scene and an impressive end scene but put garbage in between. Most of the stories are just nonsense except maybe a few character individual plots and side quests. The authors do not know how to make use of most of the characters in Aldo’s team and most of them just follow him everywhere without doing anything, at least so it appears. The actions Aldo takes, well I can somehow see most anime heroes do that, but it is TOO MUCH. I lose count how many times Aldo just says that he just cannot leave people behind, for whatever trivial event. Can’t the authors just think of better reasons LOL? All I can say is that “Yasashii” is something that does not suite 2020 anymore, and the authors’ writing only makes things worse. Did you guys ask the programmers to write the plots lol? ✓ Data download bug!I don’t often writes reviews but I was so impressed with this game and then so frustrated! I was loving playing, the story and gameplay is great, the characters and fantastic and the graphics are awesome! Then I came to play and the game asked me to download some additional date, no big deal, apart from I kept getting the error that the data could not download try another network every time I tried! In the end I had to uninstall the game twice to fix this bug and am now having to start again. Such a shame when the game is as good as this to be let down by a small bug :(.Knox995Version: 1.4.201

✓ Not a good as it could beUpon downloading the game it just seems like the usual gacha game but in its own universe which is a good start for me, but it near enough immediately falls off with its linearity, heavy grind, level scaling, and currency, the game plays like you have to forcibly put the time in to grind levels even if you put money in the thing offering no alternative for levelling and needing to over level for even early content but I almost never got to said content because of the story the game just tries to ram exposition and dialogue down your throat just simply by not having a skip button and yes that probably sounds nitpicky but as your playing though the game you get stopped constantly be it dialogue, encounters and even summons just grind the gameplay to a halt to the point that I close the game in order to skip the summoning dialogue but admittedly that specific scene doesn’t happen often because the game doesn’t give you enough currency and is rather limiting in options at some points even making me think “do I really have to spend money just to get a new unit” which unless you bury yourself into the game and this game alone just for the grind, yes, you probably will have to spend money 5.5/10 Still has potential, especially for change but heavy doubts there, here’s hoping for positive change.Lord Diji DagonVersion: 2.2.100

It is so brilliant that i even spent some real money just to buy some gems to be able to draw some more heroes hoping to get some 5 star ones. Anyway, i am really enjoying it until 2 days ago i can’t open it without downloading some game data. It kept saying that game data download error so it kept downloading endlessly and I can’t proceed to playing anymore. ✓ Crashes on New Game/ContinueI’ve had this installed (and updating) ever since the game launched, even did the preorder/preregistration for it. Finally getting the opportunity to give it a shot and it constantly crashes back to my phone’s home screen on iPhone 7 Plus. It shows the WFS and Criware logos, the main title screen, etc.. The Help submenu button works, but Facebook account linking fails and tapping New Game/Continue accepts and implies it’s going to start, but then crashes straight back to the home screen every time.. ✓ Beautiful Money PitSo this game started out freaking FANTASTIC. Beautiful animation, great story, beautiful artwork, and the quest system and controls and music were awesome. Then comes the combat system. It’s broken. For example, the volcano area is where I drew the line. You wander around, you get thrown into a fight, there’s a rain button, it sounds good on paper but it’s broken. Sometimes the Run button is grayed out. Sometimes you hit it and the game’s like “nope, don’t like that, you forfeit your turn”. And of course you get wiped out because the enemies are freaking OP. And you have to spend 50 chronos stones to respawn. If you do all the quests and don’t pay a dime, you have ~300 stones left by the time you get to the volcano. These are spent on the Flaming creatures in the volcano that spawn a) when you step on a glowing stone and b) whenever the heck they feel like it. If you don’t spend them, you wind up allll the way back at the last safe place, and there’s only like one per populated city. You can use Food to restore HP/MP but you can only carry one. By the time you get to the big bad volcano boss you are broke and lacking in HP/MP and he has so many hit points and does so much damage you’re gonna have to pay for more chronos stones because you can’t run! And you can’t eat food mid-fight either. This game was so beautiful but I am done..SamusGraceVersion: 1.1.100

✓ Slightly off the markThere’s a lot to like about this game. Music is amazing, art is pretty good, the story is engaging and combat is solid. But the first thing that irks me is summoning, we simply can’t do it that often. I feel like I can only do a 10 summon once a month as F2P. Normally I’d be ok with that if I can just play the game with what I have but that’s the other thing. I’ve hit roadblocks in the story where I had to have been doing something wrong.. right? I’m currently stuck on a boss where I clearly do laughable damage compared to previous bosses and enemies I had just encountered. Maybe it’s not my units? Ok, I just have to level up then, but that’s another issue. The flow of the game seems good until something abrupt like a boss stops you. Thing is, for the current area I’m in, grinding is unbearably slow. On top of that, there doesn’t seem to be many items to heal from wherever or help me level. ✓ Gatcha is ruining gamesKeep in mind I do understand you DONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY but the gatcha system seems a little ridiculous, the game is a solo player not a multiplayer and with that the price of the draws are a bit high. Nobody is competing for top spots, no ranking system and it’s not a p2w game. Not saying I haven’t been a whale once or twice but $80 for only 3 draws is a bit much, especially considering that in those draws you have a very small chance to obtain a 5 star character which isn’t uncommon among games today but give me a break, of the handful of times I’ve done paid draws I pull multiples of the same character and I mean MULTIPLE. Not sure if it’s a bug only some people experience but the couple times I have pulled a 5 star it’s been Annabelle 4 out of 5 times. Frustrating when you consider that she’s not even on many of the newer banners and has small percentage to pull. All I’m saying is that if you have a certain 5 star, there should be a system in place to prevent you from continually pulling the same character again and again and again. I suggest this because it’s a solo player game, people want to use new characters without shelling out lots of cash for a slim chance of getting something new. ✓ Some game design problemsThe art style and game style is pretty good. But there are a few problem needs to change. First there’s no npc selling HP MP recovery items in game, so later on leveling and going through dungeons is hard without food to recover HP and MP, once you lose a battle you have to spend chrono stones , and another thing it’s hard to get weapon crafting materials, i wish there’s an cash shop in game that sells this also once you buy a weapon you can’t sell it back to the NPC. Chrono stones are not much use , you use them to summon different characters , but the characters you get doesn’t even match your current team lvl, for example if i have a team that’s lvl 20, the 10 characters i summon are all lvl 1 . spend $24 to get 10 lvl 1 characters , is a bit disappointing, it should automatically match to the team lvl after purchase. And the skills for each character are not that unique, if they use the same weapon they all have to almost the same skill set . I summon 10 characters was so disappointed because their skill was so similar and repetitive. It would be nice if there is a fast forward button during cutscenes and dialogues, it’s slow to get through quest conversations. Over all is a good game , but just a few issues that needs to get fixed, I don’t mind spending the money for it , but the problems is the game item i get doesn’t match to my expectation.
