✓ A very rewarding experience, seems to draw inspiration from final fantasyMany gacha games almost force the player to spend, whereas in this game, I can easily progress without every having to think about dropping any money for gameplay. The depth in this game is very good. Although some champions are not god, all champions seem to have a role in this game and have some amount of usefulness. I also like the funny cut scenes during the campaign, the story actually seems thought out. Enjoying it so far and I’m only level 15! Can’t wait to deep dive into this game! I’m coming from Raid, so glad to try something new without having to spend exorbitant amounts of money..Version: 1.1.155

✓ From a Five to a one and back to a fiveThis game was on track to be something great. Recent update forced you to pay money to “sim” battles. That’s complete garbage. Deleted as it is no longer free to play. Updated: Devs saw how bad the choice to have you pay for “sim tickets” was and removed it very quickly. My hats off to you. I have nothing against trying something new, seeing it didn’t work and then backpedaling. Re-downloaded the game. Tested the “simming” and it works as mentioned. ✓ What Happened?I became a whale after almost a year of F2P. Figured these guys deserved it bc it was an enjoyable game with decent drop rates that didn’t force you to spend money and I played so much, I SHOULD give these guys money. But now the “offers” are endless. I have to exit out of “limited time offers” that keep returning. I have to close 4-8 attempts to get me to give them money. I did notice with the current addition of allowing the account to be linked via Apple versus the Game Center, the account user is not getting credit for mission 28, as only google play, Facebook, or the game center are the ones that showed valid in game to use for linked accounts. ✓ Great gameI have been playing for several weeks now, I must say this is probably the best one out right now. Due to not being flooded with tons of characters, the deals are actually reasonable. The faction teams are amazing no faction seems weak at all! Not including being able to mix and match different teams, that’s right you don’t have to make a team faction for it to only do well! ✓ Mixing the clansEnjoy the game and yes it can be a grind at some times trying to develop all the races and clans. Are you planning on doing a few half breeds. One that are mixed ( say dwarf mixed with elf) they can be played with rather clan depending on the needs? Not talking about the half pigs or allow them to be played as pig or dwarf. ✓ Fun game - reasonable economic modelBeen playing for about 2 months now and still a daily game for me. You can do FTP but like any game the advantage will go to the paying customer. I’m not a whale but will spend some money as long as I see value. Most of these games I won’t, but this one has been much more reasonable. I don’t mind supporting them and it improves my enjoyment. Good balance. Gameplay itself has been fun and dev team seems engaged. I’m not endgame but have heard that needs more variety - leveling up has been very enjoyable, though. ✓ A solid gacha game without the big nameBeen playing this game about a week now, so far I am sticking with it which says a lot since I tend to drop off most gachas. Graphics: 5/5 - Really like the graphics this game has they aren’t the most spectacular you will see in an iOS game but they are very appealing to me. Gameplay: 4/5 - Gameplay is your basic gacha with Arena, Campaign, Challenges, Events, Guilds and more. I hit a bit of a wall on the Hero Campaign at stage 4-2 out of 8. So time to grind and level up and gear up, all that jazz. Can’t say much for Arena or Guilds as I haven’t unlocked Arena yet and not joined a guild yet. For events, some are timed, and others are catered only to yourself. I’ve mostly just seen it as simple as ‘spend energy in Campaign to earn rewards’. Challenges will earn you extra Gear Materials, Gold, and XP Tomes. Shop Deals: 4/5 - I have so far seen two character offers in the shop. Both of which can be unlocked by just playing the game and grinding it out. But the deals were nice, only $1.99 each and you get plenty of gold, xp tomes and more. All in all I can’t say for sure if this game is pay to win or not yet. But it doesn’t feel like it. My only gripe are some of the characters names are REAY generic. Like Buff, Freezard,Puncherface, Robin Bad etc. Otherwise it’s a fun gacha without the big names attached to it like some others in the App Store..Version: 0.0.70

Yes you can pay to win like pretty much every game now, but you don’t need to it just takes a while longer. Balance is good and plenty of different tasks to do to level up daily and earn rewards. ✓ Great GameDefinitely off to a great start. A terrific spin on the gacha game genre. I am enjoying almost every aspect of this gem of an app. My only real gripe I have at this time, is the fact that energy refreshes cost more the more you do it. (Ex: first 2 - 3 are only 50 premium currency, then it scales too 100, 200, 400, 800. At least the scaling is what I was told by other players. I noticed the jump to 100 and stopped refreshing energy.) The prices on most things in game are absolutely incredible compared to other mobile games. The customization of characters is just great. I also enjoy the fact that you can collect champions without the typical “random summoning factor” like most of these games do. ✓ An Uncertain Future for FTPI have played this game for one month; currently level 58. This game launched at a time where people were tired of games like SWGOH or Marvel Strike Force for various reasons. A surge of players came in for the first 6 weeks. Many players were eager to spend money to secure their spot at the top. These whales convinced the devs to release more packs of ability scrolls which is the current bottleneck; where FTP players can keep somewhat of a pace with PTP players. Many ability scroll packs have flooded the game and can only be purchased with real life currency and not in game “dracoins” giving FTP players no chance to compete with PTP players. World chat has gone silent where only a handful of new players look for guilds. The discord channel “looking for guild” tab seems to be more higher level characters looking for good guilds since theirs disbanded. There has also been a real slow down of youtuber’s content. I believe the devs give the players anything they want when, in certain areas like the bottleneck, they should say no. When FTP players drop out, it quickly becomes PTP or stay at the bottom with no chance to be competitive. I really like the game but I fear with the lack of new players and a large group of PTP players, FTP players are soon to be pushed out early in the development of a game that currently lacks content and name recognition. Still love the game and will continue to play unless the gap between FTP and PTP grows too wide..Version: 1.1.26
✓ Micro transaction heavyBeen with it soon after it first launched. My wife and daughter and I migrated to this because SWGOH and Marvel Strike Force we’re busting my wallet. Is game at first seems fantastic because the pace of micro-transactions are slow and CHEAP - you get a lot for a little in the beginning. AND.. the story line and game play are wonderful. Well, after awhile, micro-transactions come fast and furious (and the packs don’t remain dirt cheap). Another money grab. ✓ Credit Due, great gameThe game itself is really enjoyable. The farms are grindy but drop rate is fair, and you always feel like you are making progress on character farming. The art and design are very good. If you choose to spend a little money (you should spend at least a little to support development.. just saying) the value for your money is very high. Where I really need to give credit is to the developers and their legitimate interest and concern about feedback from the player base. I have played swgoh for over 3 years now and it’s night and day between these guys and what passes for community engagement at CG. The recent drama with the auto loot function is perfect example and will end up making the community even stronger I think. ✓ Fun for a while but...This game is enough fun that I decided to spend a little money (though you totally don’t have to). Sadly, the drop rate of top-tier heroes is non-existent. I have opened 50 premium chests over a month long play period and I have unlocked exactly two of the top 20 or so heroes. I guess that speaks to the free-to-play nature of the game. They gotta get you spending money some how. I do recommend this game for F2P players, but honestly if I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t have spent what I did. So much of the game is accessible without spending money. And even though I only spent around $20, I regret at least half of that. It just doesn’t feel good when you open 10 premium chests in a row and get garbage, repeatedly. Bottom line: play this as F2P, but don’t be tempted to spend on the premium currency. ✓ Great Up & Coming Fragment Collector With Devs That Listen!Monetization isn’t too bad at all, it’s on par with your typical mobile games. They’re steadily releasing content and re-polishing previous content that the players deemed unsatisfactory (Battlegrounds). They keep in contact with the players and update us with what’s to come & fixes they’re working on. I’ve spent money in the game without feeling the need to, but instead actually wanting to support the game. I’m more then happy to spend money on a game that tries to please the players and remains in contact with them & takes their opinions into consideration when trying to come up with solutions. ✓ Lots of great polished mechanics and playful charactersThis game incorporates lots of mechanics and homages from other games. It’s buttery smooth and very approachable. I’m enjoying it, but it’s not without its faults. Since it’s early on, it’s pretty buggy. I can’t load levels and need to force the app to reload. I would like to see some kind of ‘benefit’ for those of us who are playing it in this state, such as every time it crashes we get compensated, etc. It’s the only thing keeping me from buying the starter packs to be honest. ✓ Wish there was a 4.5 starsDragon Champions is a pretty decent character collector RPG and it offers plenty of ways to play. The game has a pretty good backstory and it’s characters are rather interesting, which makes up for the rather low number of characters (called champions in the game) that are in the game at present. The lower number of characters actually works for the game though, it makes battles simpler and more intuitive. The only really irritating thing about Dragon Champions is the energy system. Like most games that are similar to this one, you need “energy” to begin battles. That’s fine, but you get so little free energy that grinding out items can take weeks or even months of real time if you don’t want to buy energy. There is no shortage of PvP content in Dragon Champions and while matchmaking can be a little weird, that could be my terrible team building skills than the game’s matchmaking; nevertheless, PvE is a little disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty to do with five separate campaigns and plenty of one-off adventures that have pretty good rewards. But, with such good lore, you get the feeling the devs are leaving out opportunities to explore maze-like maps with npcs to interact with and secrets to find. Overall, Dragon Champions is a very good game, but there is definitely room for improvement..Version: 1.5.58
