✓ Almost a perfect idle gameI really want to give this 5 stars bc I love the aesthetic and play of it for an idle game, but there are just so many ads it’s very disruptive to the gameplay. And like, while I understand that devs got to make money, it almost feels like the ads were implemented in such a way that was supposed to frustrate the player into buying the ad free pass But gameplay wise? I have absolutely zero complaints. It’s well paced out, there isn’t a sharp plateau that heavily “encourages” the purchase of time warps/premium currency (at least if there is I haven’t gotten there yet). The visuals are cute and the game benefits from being 3D rendered..Version: 2.9.0

✓ So far so goodAt the moment, I am enjoying this quite a bit. My only gripe is the floating light bubble that swivel down the screen. I can’t tell you how much I hate it, especially when you dismiss it and it comes back not long after. Why introduce this? Add it to the other alert options like the power king on the right hand side. There isn’t a lot of add in the past I have played lots and lots of Idle games like “Idle City, Idle Farming Empire, Idle Airport, Idle Gym, Idlefort3D and lots more, but when you compare it to other idle games clearly City Light has way less add. City Light has 95% of fun and 5% of advertisements but Idle Airport has 10% of fun and 90% of advertisements, Idle Airports have a add like every few minutes. I believe that the creator of the game will not change and increase the amount of advertisements. ✓ Prestige #2I recently made a review and I felt like it wasn’t fair to the developers. It was the problem I had with prestige. In the heat of the moment I got upset and lost motivation for the game but upon reading the developers response I tried again and earned all my stuff back and more after in about 30 minutes after I prestige my game. I shouldn’t have spoken so soon and in that manner. But about the actual game. It’s really fun! Cute characters and fun to play. Don’t have a problem with ads either unless I manually click them for boosts and such. Great game!.Version: 2.4.0

✓ Insanely EntertainingI’ve been playing this game for a week now and I gotta day sometimes it’s hard to put it down! Psychologically, the satisfaction of the short-term reward system in place here makes it insanely addicting to anyone looking to kill a little time, but it’s also just fun a very well made. My only suggestion is it would be really nice to be able to level up houses in increments larger than 1, so that you don’t have to hold down that button for a minute to get to higher levels once you’ve advanced in the game a bit. ✓ Pleasantly SurprisedI’m a huge idle game fan, but it’s rare to find one so well put together and not riddled with mandatory ads. I like that this game lets you watch an ad to unlock a power-up, Upgrade something faster, etc. It shouldn’t be shoved down your throat like some other games. I put about 2 hours into it and I was sold, probably one of the best idle games I’ve played both in mechanics and how unique it is. Definitely bought the pack to remove ads entirely after those two hours, you have my support. One suggestion for next update, maybe zoom the camera out a little bit or make it so we can zoom in and out ourselves? Feels a little too zoomed in at the moment. Cheers..Version: 2.4.0

After reading developer responses to other reviews they say more is coming so I am waiting. The idea is cute and fun. ✓ I really like this game...I’d like to see a few improvements but first a couple bugs I’ve found. Bug 1 - when the little box appears saying level to 100 free (or 200 or whatever) a lot of the times the box won’t let me tap on it. It’ll tap whatever is under it and let me level up whatever is there as if the pop up wasn’t there. [edit] it’s not just that box but also just noticed that it’s when you go to spin the wheel too. I had to exit out of the game and get back in to make it go away. It hasn’t always been like this just sometimes. And in my case it’s on my iPad. I haven’t played enough on my iPhone to know. Bug 2 - I really actually enjoy the piano music but after a few min it just stops. Idk if it’s just done and doesn’t loop or if it loops a couple times and stops but it does that consistently. Suggestion 1 - zoom abilities. I want to see the whole area. Suggestion 2 - I want to see a button that shows the buildings in a list so I can level them all in one spot. Suggestion 3 - I would like to know what the max levels are for things. Especially buildings... Other than that I enjoy the game and look fwd for updates and changes..Version: 1.7.4

✓ Idle Light CityYou know I want to give this game 5 stars, simply because I have enjoyed playing and learning how to progress. So, I will. But I do want to report what I believe to be a bug. The offline earning levels do not seem to be what I would expect, even at the base value before my offline bonus of 1.6 and the collection bonus of 2x is applied. The base value seems to be 7x - 9x less than what I would expect. This is based on me seeing what I get with 10 min prize from a wheel spin and calculating what that should come out to after 5 hours. Further, it looks like the 1.6x offline bonus and 2x collection bonus are not being applied at all. Maybe I am missing something. But I would appreciate it if the developers could look into it. ✓ Can be improvedIt’s a great game, it just needs some improvements to make the gameplay more easy for the user. One example would be, a list of all the buildings upgrades so we the users don’t have to select each building for upgrading. Also a tab with information like money generated per second, which property generates more money, which generates less, etc. Update: New bug (?) ———————EDIT: BUG FIXED———————- If I close the game completely or “kill” the app, when I open it again hours later it doesn’t register any money gained between those hours when I wasn’t playing. ✓ EnjoyableThis game is quite enjoyable. Easy enough to play and let run like a typical idle game. No major issues that I can see. One feature that I hope can be implemented would be a zoom function, so we can zoom out and look at the entire city. Not a major issue, but the larger the city gets the more we have to pan around to get to places. Maybe another feature would be an upgrade tab for the buildings so we can see what their levels are in a list form and what the cost of upgrade is. Overall, this is on the top tier of idle games for me and all I do is idle all day. Lol! ✓ Fun Little GameIt’s a fun idle game that you can also leave open and play along. It looks great and is easy to grasp and play. An issue/bug I have is that when you upgrade the amount earned, the actual amount earned goes down by building. For instance, after buying an upgrade to make all A Block houses earn 3X faster, a house went from making around 3 million to 1.6 million. And I notice that it happens when you upgrade the speed, or amount earned, to a higher level. Another issue is that buying and upgrading takes so long since things are so expensive and you don’t earn fast enough to upgrade quickly or effectively. ✓ Good gameplay, little content?So after playing for a while I did liked the game -ads are rewarding: most app with ads are just boring or don’t do that much in the game But in here the ads are good. From time reduce to skipping time and even giving diamonds (game currency) - game currency is actually enjoyable to aim for. Yes the shop kinda kills it but the acquisition of them is actually good. Manage to get like 200 in 1 day just by ads. ✓ Love it a tonThe game is great! I love the concept of the lights and the village! The only thing that I’m not a fan of is that you have to keep the app open until the lights finish lighting up the buildings! You can leave for hours and come back and the lights haven’t finished yet! This is really frustrating especially on buildings that take tons of bulbs!
