✓ Still not up to parEasy controls and upgrades come quickly but still not a true golf game. Until the games give you fourteen clubs and actual distances these games are just to keep small kids occupied. Graphics are decent and do not get glitches while playing. Smooth action and you have to have a quick trigger finger to “hit the perfect shot.” Do not like the red meter bouncing so quickly when hit meter is past the green. Hitting from the rough is ridiculous on this game. But then again a wedge only goes 10 yards and has no control according the the basement dwellers who put this gem together. Only clubs in your bag that are remotely close are the drivers and putters. Drive for show and putt for doe, but never mind the mind numbing strokes and inaccuracies In between those actions. Who ever in their active golf lives heard of using a driver on a 160 yd par three for goodness sakes? Give me 14 clubs and real distances and I will be a happy camper, if the trolls will leave mommy’s basement and meet me at the driving range I would love to show them true club distances. And stop coming up with the lame names for all the clubs like huntsman, bushwhacker and low ball it’s just so ridiculous..Version: 3.36.3

✓ This app is crap!This app is totally corrupted and totally frustrating to play. It has more players who cheat than who play fair. It seems to be designed to accommodate cheating. The wind gage is totally inaccurate or players prevent you from aiming your strokes accurately. There are very few who play the app like a golf should be played. The app admin seem to not care about providing for fair play in golf matchups! This app is a total joke. So what do they do ? Nothing but add a cost for new ball use! ✓ Started off good, but then messed up by the developersHi Concrete, Just wanted to say how really disappointed I was to read in this latest update you’ve nerf’d my beloved Rocket. Frankly having developed the best club and invested time in learning how to best use it… you go and mess it up.. shame on you.. It would’ve been better frankly if you’d shortened the length of the adverts you insist on forcing upon us and then not making sure that the adverts don’t get you caught in a loop.. really not happy with you… I know you won’t care, but you know what it’s people like me who have played for an extended time, invested time and money into the game, only for you to go an mess it up.. really not happy….Version: 3.21.0

✓ Don’t botherUsed to be a great game until they became very money motivated, there have been no new courses or holes in years nerfing of clubs apparently to make the game more fun and competitive for everyone, apart from those who are lv9 and can’t move up another level as 9 is the highest. Pitiful amount of coins for winning games, way more ties then wins which is appalling and don’t get me started on the bugs that plague this game on a daily basis. ✓ Meh….Not bad in the sense that you can progress rather decently without forking over $$ but it has become evident to me that you’re not really playing other people. I’ve trying forcing ties but if the game wants you to win it will continuously miss. I have tested this multiple times and eventually I took the win with par plus 6, par plus 8, etc. There is no way a real opponent would do that. The opponent could be 6 inches from the hole and will duff the shot 5 times moving what looks like an inch or less each time. It makes no sense. I have come to believe that if the game wants you to win, you’ll win, if it wants you to lose, you’ll lose, etc. No consistency in how your shot will go. I get there are a few factors that can affect your shot but I’m talking about a distance variance of 100 yards in most cases. Just purely no logic to it whatsoever. If you’re looking to kill time and you’re not concerned with integrity in the game then download it and swing away, otherwise keep looking..Version: 3.0.3

I installed the game and in 10 minutes I literally played one 2 minutes game and the rest is just boosters and upgrades and whatever else this is. I remember when games used to be mostly gameplay and the rest was accessory. ✓ Promising, but no where near ready.The game has a ton of promise and could give Golf Clash a run for their money. I love how you can pick which clubs you want in the bag and when you want to use them, unlike GC. The daily and solo challenges are a neat idea. However, there are several inconsistencies that need to be addressed. First, the ads. Lose them. If you want this to be a top tier game the ads serve no purpose and will cause several to uninstall. Graphics both in menu and in game could use A LOT of help. The roll of ball on the green is misleading. I do like how you can curve the ball, but the ball guide should a little more helpful where the ball is going to bounce depending on club. The aim guide is probably your worst design. Make the area a little larger rather than a small green dot you can barely see. Until you have these areas figured out, I would hide the clubhouse and meaningless other areas. ✓ This game made me cryI spent weeks on this game trying to get my rank up higher and higher. When I broke 20k I was so happy. I was on this game for 3 hours one day and I kept on getting little things popping up about something not saving and then I get on the game later to see all of my progress had been lost and there was no other way to sign in because it wouldn’t let me. Whoever made this game I hope that you go to bed tonight and both sides of your pillow are warm. I was about to get in the top 10k and u ruined my life. Now I have to download a different golf game. Hopefully the next one doesn’t delete all of my progress like this one did. This game was so stupid anyway. You beat everything so quick and the holes aren’t even accurate. The tournaments are even worse. Whenever you tie with someone they put whoever did it faster in the best spot. Like what? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. ✓ Feels like my golf gameThis game is entertaining for a little bit but you very quickly find yourself playing the same challenges over and over again while the ability to level up or upgrade clubs gets exponentially harder each time. It’s almost like grinding in an RPG but that’s the whole game. You don’t really get anywhere that makes anything different. The actual golf is extremely inconsistent and extremely unforgiving. As you level up clubs your shot meter slows down for you to be more accurate but I have had countless times when I am dead on with putts and they still miss. If you are even slightly off your hole is over. And why is the first cut of rough like quicksand? It immediately stops your ball and then for some reason you can only advance your ball 100 yards when you literally just rolled into the first cut? Why would that be fun? I have played frequently to get to level 5 but there is really no reason to continue except to play another 2 weeks to maybe upgrade a club that still won’t work in the rough. If you want to just pass time and you have never played real golf or understand how golf clubs work then knock yourself out...Version: 2.1.2

✓ Game has changedHave been enjoying this game for sometime until the latest update. The computer picks the player and then it won’t let you win. If you get a birdie then the computer does and so on. Shots the computer plays with the same club your using goes a lot further than you can do. The wind correction you make on one hole and then on another is so different it can’t be judged even if it’s the same wind strength yet the computer has no problem. It is very frustrating and I’m thinking of changing to another golf game. If you want to advance to the next level you have to gather points I have been on level 7 for months and still nowhere near moving to next level. I’m sure if I buy things then it might move quicker but I play the game for fun. It is no longer fun as I’m playing the same players on the same courses but they both have got harder to beat. ✓ Lag has ruined this game for meI had fun playing this game initially but it’s problems quickly became apparent. I have an iPhone X and in its current state, it will begin to lag which makes hitting accurate shots nearly impossible. I tried playing without any other apps running and it still happens. If they fix the lag then I might play it some more, but at this time it’s just pointless. You can play about a hole or two before your ability to hit accurate shots gets destroyed by lag. My next complaint is just a personal one that has to do with club balance. I have leveled up a few irons quite a ways along with some hybrids, but the fact that I still have to use a driver on par 3’s is ridiculous. I get the need to make the game difficult, but it takes away from the fun imo. Same goes with putters. When you’re better off using a good wedge (WHILE ON THE GREEN) rather than a putter, your golf game has balance issues. Overall, it has good potential as there’s a plethora of courses they can use in the future, and they have done some club balancing in recent updates. Just give me one arc where it’s expected to go In perfect conditions and let me worry about the wind and ball spin. You only play against replays and as you rank up and most matches just end up in a tie. A perfect putt made from just a few feet away somehow misses the hole while trying to make the objective of par, birdie etc. Another time, a imperfect putt from same distance away can make it in....that’s as long as you already failed the objective that is. Same goes with tee offs and other strokes with certain wind speed. A wind speed of 7 mph in the ball’s direction lands it 27’ short of the hole, 1 mph wind going against the ball aimed at the same spot will over shoot the hole. Doesn’t make sense, does it? I assume this is happening because you’re getting paid by how many times videos are being played while someone is trying again, and again, and again. It’s frustrating..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Fun for awhile…then gotta’ pay up.Played this game for awhile. Great graphics and for awhile I was impressed with”realism.” You May get lots of perks (e.g. free club rentals) along the way. But then I hit Level 70 and things really changed. Suddenly, unless I purchased clubs, I was relegated to the basic clubs and things got wildly off-the-charts bad. I’d play the wind and elevations like I always did, but all of the sudden 17-19 mph headwinds would t matter…I’d overshot the greens. Or with very slight headwinds of 5-7 mph, my iron shots would end up unrealistically short. Game has just not been fun anymore & I won’t fork $$ over for it. Call me cheap. Yeh… go ahead. I’ve heard that others have experienced the same thing, which is why they start other accounts. Makes sense… I sometimes would get beat by people at the “hack” level that were ridiculously good and accurate. There’s only one way they could get that good at those levels.. they e plated extensively before, like me, the algorithms kick in & you begin to become wildly sucky. ✓ Do not spend ANY real money inside this game!I used to love this game, and it is the very FIRST game I have ever spent money on. There are two ways to increase your club selection, and also powers. The slow way is to play your way up, the other is to spend money on packs to open. When you buy a pack, usually the others in your clubhouse also get a gift from your purchase. The purchases seemed worth it, and for a long time WERE, until recently, when Concrete software suddenly started this ‘club balancing’ scheme, in that the strength of certain clubs were rolled WAY back, and ‘less used’ (read starter clubs, or other junk stuff) wasn’t being used anymore, as people earned the better clubs. FEELS a lot like theft to me personally … I know others in my clubhouse feel the same way. Fun game, but spend NOTHING on it..Version: 3.21.0

✓ Starts Out GoodIf you are someone who is looking for a golf game to play for 10 minutes a week then this is a good choice. However, the logic of the design is deeply flawed. The object is to level up so you can obtain new clubs, courses and so on. In the beginning it is fine. You level up by getting coins that are obtained through opening card packs which are won in solo challenges, Dailey challenges and heads up play. In order to level up your golfer, you must level up your clubs. The developer says each level should take 3x’s as long as the previous to advance. Here is where the problem starts. There are only so many clubs available to level up. You receive about 70 points for leveling up a club when it cost 1000 coins. The next level is 4,000 then 10,000 and then 25,000. Logic would follow you should receive 1750 in points for spending 25,000 coins. Nope you get 200 points. So it took no more than a week to move a level in levels 1-5. However, I have been on level 6 since March. I have never missed a daily challenge, always finish 1-3 in my clubhouse (rankings from heads up play), and have completed ever solo task except two which I do not have the correct club to do because I can’t reach level 7. I am only about half way through level 6. I feel like I have invested a bunch of time and can’t move any further. Hopefully they update the app and improve on this silliness. ✓ Could do betterThe game is very polished and things tick over nicely for the first day or two. But the reward system that allows you to upgrade clubs basically stops rewarding you, there are HUGE lengths of time spent waiting around for the next challenge to open up, the solo challenges become impossible without upgraded clubs or the luck of playing the same challenge again and again and AGAIN until you get that hole in one in an 11 mile an hour wind. There’s no real depth to this game at all. Good for casual time wasting but it’s just too geared towards the freemium model ... the more money you spend etc etc etc. Frustrating :(.Version: 1.7.0

It’s a lot less interesting now. Uninstalling. Edit: the explanation is unsatisfactory. Again, you spurn your long time, dedicated customers who worked to improve their bag for the sake of “competitiveness” and “fairness”. Fair is giving people what they paid for. You can make things competitive you can improve your matchmaking algorithm. You chose the lazy route: reduce the value of what people have bought either with money or grind time and call it “balancing”. Which is why this game is no longer worth my time. ✓ Decent, except for the scamThe game itself isn’t bad. It’s a light, arcade-y gold game. Unfortunately you hit a wall very quickly where your ability to progress is severely hampered unless you pay gold (mainly gained thru microtransaction purchases) to clear out your packs. If you refuse to pay (like me), then you end up having to quit for hours at a time until the packs can be opened and cleared out of the slots. Fun. The worst part of the game is the “free gold” scam on the store page. Do not waste your time — even the offers purportedly offering gold for “just viewing” or “just signing up” will dump you into a barrage of survey questions that will only finalize if you eventually make a purchase or open up another survey page in an endless loop. No idea why Apple allows this sort of thing to be included in the game — it’s disgusting and makes me not want to play..Version: 2.4.6

✓ Pretty decent, needs improvementThis game is pretty good. One thing that frustrates me is the ball roll on the green. If you don’t aim way before the green, you roll right off the far side EVERY time. And that par 3 where the green is an island, is next to impossible to land the ball without rolling into the water. I aim for the water & the ball hits the edge & still rolls off the back side. I’ve tried backspin, top spin etc. Only time I’ve finished that hole was when I accidentally landed in the bunker. ✓ Massive Battery DrainI like the game and I play it on a 12.9 iPad Pro, but even with the graphics of the game set on the fastest (lowest) setting, this game is a massive battery drain. iPad was at 100% and playing this game for 10-15 minutes dropped the battery percentage down to 70%. This is the only game that this is a issue with. All other games I have on my iPad don’t drain the battery anywhere close to as much as this game does. I usually have to play this game with my iPad plugged in if I want to play for longer than 45 minutes to an hour. I will say that upgrading clubs to increase your players level is just stupid when 90% of the clubs that I’m upgrading I’ll never use. There are things that need to change no social aspect options no decent club function other than pointless duels, if the devs put as much into the play aspect of the game as they do trying to milk cash from you then this game would be a lot better, but they probably have a server run by hamsters on wheels and basic as possible to ram adds and packs down ur throat to milk u like a cow fir a very average game tbh, not enough content to warrant spending cash on this game as it’s just a scam spend millions for a very small chance of anything like all these modern parasitic games on iOS and mobile there just scams with a nice facing, this game could be great if the devs weren’t parasites offering nothing really other then a reasonable game which soon becomes boring and pointless as u see exactly how it works and scant rewards at al, for playing, the tournaments are a scam too starting off at 25 then going up and up to try beat ur score which tells u that there only interested in scamming u out of ur cash not the enjoyment of the player experience, same with the chat and social and club functions why give people that when weee not profiting from it mentality sad but that’s parasites for u.Version: 2.1.2

I enjoy the way the game plays and feels mostly and it’s simple yet effective entertainment for very quick short games. The negatives however outweigh the positives with the game. It’s frustrating as it had the foundations to be one of the best on the App Store. Graphics are low quality. Duels are complete random and pointless with you occasionally playing quite clearly the computer who hits 5 off the tee into hazard or off the map. Then you’ll randomly match someone hugely overpowered who’ll hit a par 4 green in one. There’s no real competition element to the game other than grinding to try gain better clubs. In conclusion I think an improvement in graphics and potentially altering the game so you have an avatar and swing designed to a person rather than spending your time watching a golf ball. Golf divisions would be brilliant as a social competition but a story mode playing 18 holes across multiple courses would also add a huge interest to the game.Version: 2.6.2

✓ Opportunity lands in the roughSuch a great idea for a pick up and play golf game. The hard shots feel difficult and satisfying when you do pull them off. When you take risks and they don’t pay off, you suffer-just like real golf. However, the pay wall this game erects immediately just completely destroys any fun you could have. There’s a progression system, sure, but you have to wait real world HOURS for even a low level pack to open. You’re only able to skip them with gold bars you have to pay for. The multiplayer is solid but unvaried. ✓ Fun but LimitedThe game is fun to play. However, there are some aspects of the game which leave much to be desired. Some of the play is downright unrealistic. On certain holes, the gam penalizes a player for trying to use a wood instead of a driver off the tee. In most cases, it is impossible to even reach the beginning of the fairway. Most of the par 3s are a normal distance but can only be reached with a driver. There is an island par 3 that is almost impossible to go directly at. The two main approaches to playing it are to hit it short into the rough short of the water then hit an iron over the water or to aim the ball at a bunker on the front of the green and try to hit into it. Any other shot sends the ball bouncing off the back of the green into the. water. Being free, it is priced right..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Tournaments are clogged up with cheatersThis game is super fun, but once you gain a few levels, the tournament mode is basically un-winnable. It would be fantastic if they were able to weed out some of the cheating. I’m sorry, I don’t care how good you are, no one finishes an 18 hole course in like 25 shots. Several of the people in my clubhouse say they have played for years and only gotten a couple of hole-in-ones. That said, tournament mode is definitely the most fun. Fun courses, wish there were a few more. I love that you don’t really have to pay to win, though it takes a long time to get the most powerful clubs the natural way. The wacky super powered clubs are a great risk/reward gamble. ✓ PurchaseI purchased a package but never received it. I then don’t acted customer service provided receipts and transaction history’s and in the end they said sorry but we can’t do anything because you don’t have Facebook. My advice is do not purchase anything from this company because they will take your money give you nothing in return. And the developer still to this day has offered nothing to me in the form of compensation or content. I have contacted the better business bureau and if that doesn’t help the I will contact the FTC. ✓ Money HungryThis game is fun but it’s ALL about money. You could easily spend $5,000-$10,000 on gold and still not buy all the upgrades needed to max every club. I believe that no matter what game your playing, you should be able to complete it for $100 or less which would be equivalent to a game on the Play Station, Xbox or Switch. It’s absolutely stupid that concrete software charge so much and get get so little in return. They would probably have thousands of people spending more if concrete gave more in return. I’ve been playing since the launch and I’m happy that they’ve added new courses and clubs but it just seems like it’s all about money rather than game play. I also wish they had a “live” game play feature. I hate constantly getting Eagle for tie games. Everyone is finishing they’re hole on the second shot. Furthermore you should get FedEx points for ties and you shouldn’t ever lose points. ✓ Great game which handicaps itselfThis is my favourite golf game on mobile and I've tried most of them - WGT Golf and Ultimate Golf's progression make less sense, and the golf on this game is quite a lot of fun. Reminds me of Mario Golf on the N64, but updated for mobile. However, it's absolutely a pay to play/level up game. Going from level 1 to level 2 is easy but as soon as you hit level 4 or 5, it turns into a complete grind and only with 47 holes to play on at that point. Adding additional holes from TPC Boston or other courses as play continues would be amazing and continue to motivate you to level up. I'd happily pay several dollars for this game if it let you play 9 or 18 in a solo sitting without needing an internet connection, and would pay for additional content in the form of courses, but as it is outside the actual golf gameplay it's a grindy mess. I made a purchase and the third party group did not fulfill the offer in the game. However, when it comes down to the FedEx cup it becomes very difficult to advance because you are playing against another players actual shots (which are typically very lucky shots) and your shots aren't usually as lucky as theirs. Playing against live players is much more fair to me which is why golf clash is a lot of fun in that aspect. Also, upgrading clubs is very difficult because you can only open one card pack at a time and most of the packs take long periods of time to open, so solo play becomes worthless since the only reward is card packs and you can't have more than 4 packs at once..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Don’t Do ItThis game is a lot of fun to play. I golf I play video games so it’s a good fit. Having said that save yourself the time and money and do not download it! My first account was accidentally deleted by concrete during their issue in July that deleted several players accounts. I sent them screen shots and a walk through of what I was doing so they could see what I was running jn to and what I got back was zero help from concrete help desk, their answer was to continue to try and make sure my Facebook was connected. I had invested over $20 into it at that point. But I still liked to play the game so I started another account and then spent the gold to start my own clubhouse, after 6 weeks our club finally leveled up to level 2. With that level up our clubhouse was supposed to go from 20 to 30 members, this has yet to happen. I contacted support to find out why we can’t add any additional members and their response was “we know this is an issue and we are set to correct it in the 1.7.0 update, they are currently in version 1.6.4 so it will be atleast a couple of weeks”. It is very clear that concrete as a company doesn’t care about you as a player they only care about your money and collecting it while not delivering on some very basic features THAT PEOPLE PAY ACTUAL MONEY FOR THAT THEY KNOW DO NOT WORK! Do with this info what you will but if I had to do it all over again I would have rather downloaded ANYTHING other than this game or any game by Concrete..Version: 1.6.3
✓ A con dressed up as a gameThe in app purchase model is immoral and this “game” is the epitome of a bait and sell con. At the start it’s easy, as you progress it gets a little harder but it’s playable, then at around the pro level it is constructed in such a manner as to make in app purchases a necessity to progress. The best example is yardages, when your clubs cannot reach the fairway but your opponents have magical properties that allow them to drive over 500yards, or get a distance burst over water. I don’t mind the challenge of timing your swing to hit it where you are aiming, but when the laws of physics are manipulated to prevent you being competitive and not offer a managed way round a hole then it becomes questionable. Even the purchase process is masked with prize bags which introduce a mock level of chance. It really quite disgraceful..Version: 3.0.5

This is another game where you advance based on how much you play. Unfortunately, like all the other games, the AI advances their skills MUCH Faster than you ever could. While a couple occasionally miss a shot, ie hit water etc, they’re ball drop is right at the spot of water entry. You on the other hand have to re-Tee up. And, the AI doesn’t lose a stroke. So, they are just as close to the pin as if they hit the fairway. Also, when playing the Solo area, some of the challenges are virtually impossible to play with basic clubs, even after gaining skill points/upgrades. You can’t win! As said earlier. I had high hopes. Call them AI if you want...but they should tell you if you’re playing a real human or one of their Bots who make 40 foot putts with a putter with a 4 accuracy rating. Too many Bugs. I’ve watched multiple Ads to get coins or improve my card pack...and then nothing. Click “Retry” and get “No Ad Available.” But I just watched the Ad and you didn’t give me what you promised! Too hard to get past Level 6. Thought this was only me but noticed other comments with same complaint. Guessing this is the point when you have to start shelling out big bucks to move on. Club mechanics are lazy programming and need to be vastly improved. 1. You can basically only use a Driver off the tee. All other clubs barely get you out of the tee box. Very unrealistic that you can’t use a Wood or Iron off the tee for Par 3s. 2. A Wood goes 48 yds off a tee, 147 yds from the fairway, and 18 yds from the rough. Again not realistic. I believe it must be programmed by non golfing Golf Glash software guys because you all just make the same nonsense changes at the same time and today is among the worst. The unpredictable results may be your golf score result but in a year of play you’ll see how unfair and unreasonable your design is. Each club has a predictable good hit to bad hit of only 10 yards. The game make sand and rough like mud taking far too high a percentage off the shot. A good shot out of rough or sand can be near normal. Also in sand an iron or wood is used with reasonable results. One big problem is the visibility of where the hall is going relative to the hole can’t be easily seen. On a course the line and distance is reasonably know and the flight distance is close to expected with some direction imperfection. In the game plan on hitting the green, I hit a great shot and expect to be on the green then land 15 yds shot in rough or sand that wasn’t seen in flight path planning. ✓ INCONSISTENT WIND ALGORITHMThis could be a five star app, but the developers/programmers don’t know how to program winds that are consistent - EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! At first, it’s not that noticeable, but after playing 100’s of hours with the same club (for drives), it became blatantly obvious. Often a drive into a 10-15 mph “headwind” will carry 10 or more yards past the target (instead of landing shorter, as physics dictate, due to the headwind). This is totally frustrating when playing in a tournament that you pay to enter or if you are playing a duel match. For “occasional” playing at a lower level, you may enjoy it. HOWEVER, don’t invest money…you will quickly discover the shortcomings and the totally absurd magnetic clubs at the highest level (watching your opponent miss the hole, but ball makes 90 degree turn to go into the cup! ✓ Disappointing!This is a game with potential, but in the end is just disappointing and a waste of time (and money if you decide to spend any for upgrades). It could be fun as a version of golf with some fantasy based clubs and play, but in the end leaves you bored and annoyed at the constant barrage for funds and ads. I never expect a game to be free. I actually prefer games where I can pay for content up front and enjoy the experience. This is not that game. It is free to start, but there is no upgrade option. To advance you have to either pay big money (hundreds of dollars on in app purchases) and still watch ads constantly or be patient and spend month (years really, unless you spend significant money) to get anywhere. Without doing either, you will be set up against players with clubs that are far superior to yours and will leave you with little chance of success. Again, a game with potential, but my advise is to avoid it altogether and not get strung along and sucked into the void hoping for random upgrades that never come or spending hundreds to get there..Version: 3.0.0
