✓ Best golf game on the phone.I am a huge fan of pga golf series games. From tiger woods pga tour (Notice I didn’t mention Rory) to even golf with friends. For on the go golfing this tops anything I’ve played. From upgrading clubs to using the club spaces to add on extra spin and power to the clubs you really need to use it for, makes this golf game a unique and fun experience. Work is needed for sure but I’m sure the developers are working on this as we speak. You can join a club and earn rewards. Hopefully new game modes for player vs player will be out soon or even party play would be amazing. But for the time being this game is a lot more fun then I expected!.Version: 1.0.17

The game play is very straightforward and simple to learn, the graphics are stunning (but adjustable depending on your device and bandwidth), advancing within the game is challenging but hasn't ever felt insurmountable, the in-game rewards for regular play are generous, the ads (if you choose to watch them to expedite play without having to spend your own money) are short and sweet, and the developers are constantly working to improve the game, all while being receptive and responsive to issues raised (as a regular user, I have corresponded with them on a few occasions about issues and/or opportunities for improvement). I’ve had the game for years and I’m apart of a clubhouse that I contribute to weekly, but recently the game has been blocking me from playing because it wants to take up more space in my phone. I DON’T HAVE ROOM! The game shouldn’t block you from playing completely rather than just missing out on new features. I don’t like letting my team down because of updates that we as players don’t even notice. It’s not like you’ve given us new courses or raised the rewards for winning. Game play is comparable to that but I like that you can keep playing or participating in daily/solo challenges without getting screwed by a money grab to improve competitiveness or risk loosing 50k credits in 2 minutes to someone that probably spent $300 on maxing their clubs and balls. Only been on a few hours but noticed what appears to be a bug with the Seasons. Season indicates on screen that it ends in 12 days, but I have already gotten reset twice after earning the rank 5 award and card pack. Seems like this is intended to carry on for a full 12 days before the reset and reward. Please fix. Would love to see open participation events such as a full 72 hole tournament (without the crazy cash buy ins of course) or the ability to solo play a full course. ✓ Recent updateThis is a good game BUT, here are some things that both the Facebook and Reddit community have been asking for: 1. An actual, viewable Leaderboard displaying the top players (top ranked along with their FedEx Cup points). 2. Either a nerf or removal of skyfury club. This club is so great that I only use two club sets, Skyfury for ALL par 4s and 5s and Lodestar for all par 3s. This makes the game ridiculously repetitive and takes away any strategy involved. Adding new courses/holes or adjusting the OB boundaries may help fix the Skyfury issue. 3. The tournaments added were a nice feature but they happen very infrequently. It would be nice if they were either held every weekend or added as a new game mode. Honestly, competing in the tournaments and the way you guys made them with the scoring AND time taken was a GREAT idea and it’s the only time playing the game that I actually feel like I’m having fun and not just going through motions. 4. I’m not sure what your contract between PGA Tour and Concrete says but even if you guys could generate a few custom holes or even do a competition for hole design among the Facebook group members; that would really revitalize the game. Finally, I know most of us are teleworking and making a lot of changes and coordinating with a lot of other people to get things done is a difficult thing to do. Latest addition of more competitions which require gold to enter makes it so players have to spend to get the gold to enter. Not enough gold is rewarded. Monthly fedex cup is easy to achieve level 50 and rewards are poor. Join a good clubhouse and get good rewards weekly if you hit tier 9 target. The monthly fedex cup needs updating. ✓ Really Solid Mobile GolfI almost never leave reviews on apps, but I've been playing this game for a bit and have to let you know how happy I am with it. The golfing mechanics are straightforward and simple but satisfying. You feel like you have real control over the ball and can improve over time. The progression and reward loop has a good pace and all the clubs you unlock give you incentive to play around with different setups using the interesting card + bag system. Compared to many other free-to-play mobile games, Shootout feels generous and doesn't shove tons of IAPs and ads in your face. There is a strong incentive to watch a handful of ads per day to increase your rewards, but I don't think there is a single mandatory ad in the game from what I've seen. The biggest downside of the game is if you are looking for something with live, real-time competition, which this doesn't have. Everything works on an asynchronous system where you are playing against the "ghosts" of other players. This doesn't personally bother me and honestly it makes for quicker matches than similar games, which I like. Overall this is one of the best F2P mobile games I've played in recent memory. ✓ You like golf? You like gaming? Do it.It’s a perfect mix between genuine sim golf games that get frustratingly slow and crazy golf games that completely defy physics and are childish. This game will require your time and I didn’t spend any money until I was a year or so in and really enjoying being part of a clubhouse with some great people who you actually become friends with not unlike a real golf course. Yes….. it’s frustrating at time trying to progress to better clubs and being beaten by significantly better players who’s paid for upgrades but…. That’s just like real golf. Some days your rock. I don’t like games that diverge greatly from reality when it comes to this kind of stuff. Aside from all that, it’s a great game that occupies wayyy too much of my time ;) The PVP aspect is weird, I’m not sure how they conduct but I don’t think it is real time. ✓ Bright FutureSo far the game is fun, i think it is much better then Golf Clash. The only thing i don’t like is that i do not feel like i am playing another person shot for shot, there are also players who have discovered a glitch on the longer holes where they get to the green off the tee but my almost maxed out driver only gets halfway. In addition, they need to make the courses feel complete beyond just the fairway you are playing on. Also, if it is a tie, there should be a closest to the pin shootout. So far everything else seems smooth, the potential club distances definitely need some improvement, as does things like backspin. Hitting out the rough is crazy, no distance, even with a wood-HYBRID, make hitting out the sand harder if anything. 2. Club distance off the tee is NOT EVEN CLOSE. 144 yard shot, should be hitting an iron, even if you make the direction arrow faster⬅️ -seriously. Hybrid off the tee 70-80 yards, come on. 3. Drivers could be dialed down to make is possible IDK.. Rampart with 12 power full out is almost impossible to hit and if you miss by a little it’s off the screen. Come on. 4. I really like it. ✓ Great app; small improvements on loadingThe app is great. Best golf experience so far. I play it on my phone and it’s still great— even though it’s a more challenging way to play. I shoot and putt by feel to attempt to better my game. That’s how we play for real, am I right? The graphics and golf courses are very realistic. Of course it gets pretty challenging too but that’s to be expected. The thing that I would challenge the developers with is to find a way to speed up loading time. Even when you have been matched with an opponent, it can often be maddening with the time it takes to load up and be ready for the first shot. Still the best golf game out there..Version: 3.13.1

Very disheartening to score eagle and get silver pack. ✓ Be Ready for a real time commitmentI’ve been playing this game for a little over a year, I’ve spent probably eight hours watching nonsense ads and likely another hundred dollars to buy packs when things were going disparagingly slow. I’m now at level nine, have all the clubs, and are starting to get a little bored with the lack of new courses and clubs. Overall, a good game but it is by definition a cash grab. It’s the right combination of relaxing fun and challenging to keep me engaged and coming back for more. People complain about the “abilities” that come with some clubs but the fact is almost all of them do! Rocket or Magnesis isn’t “fair”? Level up and get those clubs! You can possibly level up faster by spending real money but you don’t have to. The social aspect of joining a clubhouse is a genius addition that adds to the fun. While there are some glitches here and there they’re minor and rarely impact play. Concrete has a really nice game here. Highly recommended!.Version: 3.10.1

Only gripes is the fact that in the app there is an account recovery button that doesn’t work and adding friends from Facebook sometimes doesn’t work which makes it impossible to complete the challenge of dueling friends. Only way I can duel them now is if they are in my clubhouse but that doesn’t count toward dueling friends. ✓ Very Fun but...This game is fun to kill some time and the single player was especially enjoyable, albeit short. 1:1 is definitely addicting when the players are evenly matched. There are definitely some kinks that may or may not be easily explainable: 1. 1:1 opponents seem to be either world class or abysmal. I’m not sure why there are so few players hitting birdie, par, or bogey. 2. I get the draw of fun and unique physics modifiers but there are really only a handful of clubs that actually benefit the player. All others are useless. Plus no way to get past level 6, I assume without paying. Which might make business sense - so no fault there. 3. How can there be such huge differences in driving distances? I can drive full swing Rampart with 13 power vs an opponent with the exact same club and power rating and they’ll go 575 yds to the green and I’ll 391 even nailing the center. How?? 4. I understand you’re basically playing recorded versions of actual players and some of them might be consistently stellar while others just have hugely lucky shots, but what is the logic of pitting players against consistent eagle and albatross recordings? Seems to happen in the middle of level ups, especially in the 30s. I like some impossibly hard competition, but more sprinkled. All in all, very fun, but not without some puzzling aspects.Version: 2.0.1

✓ The good and the bad of PGA TourThe PGA Tour is an ok game, it has good points as well as BAD !! The good points are; 1. Easy to learn, 2. Customer Support is great, 3. A good cast of rival players. The Bad points are; 1. The wind direction and speed don’t appear to be realistic, 2. Club selection is limited unless you want to buy extra coins and purchase your clubs, 3. Rivals who have purchased the “magic clubs” are virtually unbeatable, it’s very demoralizing for a Rival to drive 515 yards and the best you can do is 325 yards, 4. Every time you lose a game points are taken away from you chance to move to the next Level, I’ve been stuck on Level 7 for 3 months. All in all I’d rate this game a 5/10..Version: 2.5.5

✓ Good game if you can cope with crashesThe game itself is great, challenging without being too difficult. Levelling up requires a lot of ‘silvers’ which you can either buy or watch ads. The ads crash, constantly, or you watch them and never get the rewards. Send a request to support and it’s always the same answer - tell us which ads and we’ll look into it. I say again the game itself is good, but the support is poor - not what you would expect from an affiliated product. 3 weeks on, following on from this review, the game has got even worse for faulty ads. I have to restart the game almost every time I watch an ad. Black screens, no rewards, same answer from tech support - send a screenshot - and nothing ever changes for the better. I say again, the game is good, but the support is non existent, and the quality of ad coding is ridiculously poor. Addition - Just back after a 12 month break and the game is still great. ✓ Great Golf Game - Should Be BetterCompared with other golf games I’ve played, this one has a more realistic feel at the novice levels. But once you gain exp and upgrade your clubs (that’s how you level) then it begins to lose the realistic feel. The developers are big into the wind factor which I don’t have a problem with at reasonable levels. But when you play for an hour doing nothing but aiming into tree lines or the pond just trying to keep your shot in the fairway or rough on every hole, you lose me. The tournaments are a great feature, but placing is impossible when you’re playing against all levels with no handicap system. I see players carding 18 in a 9 hole tournament. It feels like a good investment on my entertainment. Two fixes to consider: 1) In tournaments, I end up competing with players who score 5 hole in ones on 6 holes, which inexplicably they complete in 15 seconds. Those folks ought to be competing against each other; not me. 2) I’m in a clubhouse with 20 people. 2/3 of them haven’t \played the game in nearly 2 months. Only 3 of us have played in th last 3 days. It is hard for a clubhouse to progress when so many people have quit the game. Please create a way to jettison those players so that new players who want to be part of this clubhouse can make it possible for us to advance. But, sign up and play this game. It is fun, even if you decide not to invest any money in playing..Version: 2.2.2
