✓ Too many advertsThoroughly enjoyable, satisfying game. Only problem is the adverts. It takes about 20 seconds to beat each level, and you’re rewarded with an advert after every single one. Not to mention the one on screen at the start of each level, plus the advertisement bar at the bottom of the screen when playing. No need for it, and a genuine put off. By all means have the occasional advert to bring in revenue. But three per level? Way too excessive..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Good time waster but it has bugsAs far as the game goes, it is a good time waster. No great thought needed. Aim, shoot destroy. When I am winding down at the end of he day or sitting on grid locked traffic, it is a perfect distraction. Not a game I would play for hours at a time, assuming I had that luxury. I do have one issue, it lags and when it lags enough it closes and I have to restart it. The lagging makes it difficult to aim which makes it impossible to destroy. I have noticed it only kicks me out on boss levels and during the ads and it doesn’t seem to matter if on my home network or on mobile data. It could be because I am still on a 6S but I do have the latest iOS and no other app exhibits the same issue so I am thinking bug. Even so, a simple restart of the game and I can go another level. In a way it sort of ensures I put the phone down. 😂.Version: 1.6.0

✓ Levels not savingHave been passing levels up to 140 then it will freeze to the point it’ll close the app and then once you can re open it .. I’m back on level 101 .. My issue, though, is with privacy... Voodoo, please, sort it out. Under 16s are a significant part of your market audience - you know that, or else you’d have some way of checking proof of age. I could be three for all you care. Yes, everybody gets the chance to turn off ad tracking and I have, I’m keeping it that way too. ✓ Far to easyI’m up to level 170 hoping it will get more tricky but it never does. The explosions are too big and you can take down a castle with 1 bomb a lot of the time. ✓ Such good potentialFirst off there are only 5 castles pretty much. Each level your cannon changes position, and after 15 levels it gets old and very repetitive. Thé destruction and physics are actually so good and so satisfying. I reckon y’all add new cannons that you can unlock, and they have different abilities, new castles!!!!, more high turret towers and make it harder to beat the levels with less tnt. ✓ Raiding Castles are great but..It’s plain to see you’ve worked too hard on the graphics that it lags when four dynamites go off. Worst case is there no point system. I mean I would love how many points I’d get throughout the game before I failed to pass a level. Or how many points given with unused dynamites. Goes by ten points on each (if needed suggestion) Plus what’s the point of the cannons, they look classy but I was expecting each have a special effect. After stage five, I suspected it differently but, it wears down my excitement when after passing each boss level. Nothing has changed, it’s just a costume for the cannon with no special abilities. Another thing, when some kind of debris lands on a dynamite, I’d expected to go off however seeing stone brick gives off a sudden explosion is nice though when a wooden beam lands on it even at high places.. doesn’t work. One last thing, the boss levels.. why the same castle?? Always at different angle although some repeated the same direction rather than have it at the back end. It be nice that it isn’t just a king in every boss level. Make it interesting, like fantasy creatures. Seriously the cannons have reached that feature, from regular to sci-fy to magic arcane then to old tree trunk cannon. Why can’t you make the boss levels be about knocking a dragon off the tower or something..Version: 1.4.1
✓ Glitchy.Good game, quite addictive, however there are a number of issues with the game play. It’s pretty glitchy on my phone, something I don’t experience on any of the other games I play. I’ve also had issues where it completely shuts down. Not really a major issue generally, but the game wasn’t saving, which meant I would have to go back to the same level it thought it was. Which is fine if it’s one or two levels. Mine literally dropped from level 103 to level 59. Otherwise, quite enjoyable..Version: 1.5.0

✓ Good, but could be so much betterThis game is a really good concept, but there are a few major issues that plague it: 1. The rendering: in the last update it seems that the graphics have actually gotten worse which is disappointing. I’m not sure if this was performance or not because I hadn’t notice any issues in the previous versions 2. Overuse of TNT: While the TNT is a fun addition to the game, some maps have wayyyy too much and it gets to the point where no matter where you hit the castle, it’ll be a one shot because of the the TNT 3. Lack of diversity in the maps: You can only play the same handful of maps a certain amount of times before it gets boring. Having more variants or even a spin-off game with other building styles besides castles would be ideal. 4. No sound: this one isn’t that big of a deal but it is still a little strange that the game has no sound effects 5. Inconsistently in the aiming: oftentimes when I play, the aiming cursor will lag or glitch to another part of the screen, seemingly at random. If these issue were acknowledged I feel that it would make the game so much better..Version: 1.2.0

✓ Ads over the topFun game but the ads are crazy. I can understand there’s a certain amount of greed when making a fun game app, but if it’s a simple app, such as this one, keep the ads simple. These ads are over the top especially for this level of a game. Some of the ads have to be watched for a certain amount of time then the x appears. When you hit the x to exit the ad, another screen opens for the same ad. Sometimes that’s the end, but other times it goes to yet another screen for the same ad. Three screens for an ad is crazy. The worst is when the ad goes straight to the App Store and you have to close App Store and restart the app and watch yet another ad. The game has its own issues like locking up or just plain crashing and closing without having to deal with all of the ads. Quit being so greedy and keep the ads quick and simple instead of all the stupidity. Im sure most people are willing to watch some short ads to support a game that is fun when it works. Update: Still lots of false flag ads that take you to the App Store when you hit the x instead of closing and returning to the game. ✓ Has potential, if they want it toThis is a rather addicting game. The ads are annoying, paying $2 to get rid of the ads would be an easy sell. The bigger issue is that you get stars (for what I have no idea) and you don’t get to destroy things fully (you can knock down 2 tours and leave 2 more standing and you’ll get 3 stars). And it’ll zoom in to 1 part of the castle and you don’t get to see the rest of it go down. Let people choose to go on, or to keep destroying. Would be nice to see what gets you stars. Maybe knocking down all the towers gets you 1 Star, killing everyone gets you another star, and getting over 90% destruction gets you another star. And let people do over if they only get 1 or 2 stars. Also, you’re going to run out of levels quick. Let people design a castle for you. Or choose to play with limited (or no) TNT. ✓ Holy freaking LAGI would probably give this game more stars if I could actually play it as intended, but oftentimes it lags so much that it severely impacts the game’s core functions. Having made a few basic games myself, I am usually very patient when it comes to bugs and/or issues such as slow processing, but in a game like this where it essentially all just comes down to timing your shots correctly, having the tracking & movement be this ridiculously choppy and inconsistent means that unfortunately it’s almost unplayable at times. Still though, I have high hopes for it to improve. The latest update introduced some good new features, and the game itself is a pretty fun way to waste some time. It isn’t exactly super complex or dynamic, so you can’t really play it for hours on end, but I still enjoy it when it’s working properly. If they can fix the lagging problem, I would probably even consider paying for the ad free version. Also just as a side note/suggestion to the devs, I think it would be cool to give players the option to keep shooting even after you pass the level. Like if you have surpassed the damage requirement but still have some shots remaining, it would be fun if you could choose to either move on to the next level, or elect to continue firing your leftover shots and see just how much destruction you can wreak on the castle. Each level only takes one or two regular canon balls to destroy enough of the castle’s structures to win the level… So it takes about 15-20 seconds to play a level and then you face 10 to 20 seconds of ads. This was almost bearable and gave you a chance to evaluate the game, but now they have included ads that freeze the game during gameplay which totally destroys any enjoyment of this game!.Version: 1.9.8

Seriously, there are only a small handful of castle designs, which are repeated endlessly. ✓ Good gameThis is an update from my last review I play this game quite a bit , some things I would like to see changed are , don’t show me the little guy flying through the air , I want to see the castle being destroyed that’s the game , I could care less about the little guys, another thing is if I have cannon balls left give me the option to destroy the rest of the castle or use them up before moving on to the next castle , less explosives and more cannon balls , it isn’t very much of a challenge when you hit one time and all the explosions destroy the castle, and not so many adds or the option to pay for the game, I am giving the game 3 stars . ✓ Not a full gameThe premise is good but essentially this is an advert heavy demo concept. There are only about a dozen castle designs and the game gets very repetitive very quickly and the difficulty is arbitrary - you can wreck one castle completely with one shot whereas another takes a lot of pinpoint shooting but it’s not progressive. The game seriously needs more goals and more variety. For example: Lots more castle designs. Different castle materials Different ammunition types Power ups for difficult levels Difficulty increasing as you progress Achievement system Rankings on how well you do on each level Challenge mode with randomly generated castles - see how far you can go Timed mode - unlimited shots but time limit to destroy a castle. ✓ It has potential, but needs more!It’s a great game to start with, until you get the incessant amount of adverts. After about 30 or so levels, I paid for the ads to be removed which makes for better play progress. ✓ Latest update changed the game...not all good.I like the latest update, for the most part. New cannon designs are interesting, but nothing really special. Would have been cool if the different cannons had unique cannon balls, each with its own attribute. The zoom up of the cannon ball was cool for the first few levels, but it would be nice if it could be turned off. Also, the camera angles don’t always center the castle, so some of the damage is off screen. I paid for this game, and am up to level 261. Before the update, it was just destroying castles. Now, every 5 levels, there is a “boss” level. Which doesn’t add anything to the game at all, it would be nice if the levels got harder. Weather conditions changing, hills to deal with, bosses which fire back after time. There is so much potential for this game, but the repetition is getting annoying. At least the castle layout, before the update, changed, now it’s very repetitive. Also, the animation in between levels bogs down the game. Some of the huge explosions bog down the game even more. ✓ Great stress busterThe physics might not be 100% perfect but they are satisfying enough. After 20 levels or so it quickly becomes apparent there are only a dozen or so castle designs and it’s simply a case of hitting them from different angles. Whilst quite addictive it is clearly a cheap game designed to draw you into some of the other games CONSTANTLY advertised. If you lash out £2.99 and get rid of the ads, after an initial spree of wreak mania the true cheapness of the game really kicks in. It needs levels of complexity, different scenes, types of castles, cannons, archers returning fire etc. There’s a whole lot that could be done but I suspect the developers find it entirely fit for their purpose - ad revenue. ✓ OKThe game okay and it’s a decent pass time but to be honest, I find it too easy. Another thing which I think could be improved is the fact that the levels don’t get progressively harder, and in fact they are just the same castles on repeat in different environments. I think the bosses should be different kings etc. I also think there should be more unlockables (the cannons are all way to easy to unlock and don’t provide you with any additional benefits). ✓ It could by way, way betterAs much fun as it is to shoot castles and watch them explode all over the place, it is very, very dissatisfying to shoot these castles and not be able to finish the job. It would be better if there was an option to continue shooting the castles after you have achieved the points to move on, especially when there are parts of the castle still standing. It is annoying to be forced to leave a job unfinished. It would also better if we could move the camera angle around when the castles are exploding, because there are time when the flying debris hits another barrel on tnt and it is off screen of the main focus and you don’t get to see the destruction happening in another part of the castle. Also, as mentioned by practically everyone else, the ads are ridiculous here, and there is a problem with crashing. ✓ A good time waster, ruined by bad ad decisionsIt should be pointed out that I work in app development,. This is a simple time-wasting game, it’s fun and simple. However it is ruined, like many free games, by the amount, frequency and positions of adverts. For example, when the advert banner at the bottom of the screen is playing an animated advert, it can actually severely lag the cannon’s aiming, causing painful misses. To resolve the issue of the bad advert decisions in this game, simply turn your WiFi and data off before launching the app. Then the app can not retrieve any adverts. I do not mind supporting developers by watching adverts. But I do mind when those adverts are too frequent, bordering on greedy and when they are shown during gameplay in the form of a banner, disrupting your play. Turn off your internet connection before launching the game. The devs will get the point when they see thread revenue declining..Version: 1.5.0

✓ Great Concept, Flawed ExcecutionI played a total of 382 levels of this game. The concept is a lot of fun, and it’s very satisfying and extremely easy to play game. However, after two updates, the developers have ignored the reviews and used the updates not for developing the game, but for aesthetic purposes and adding advertisements. This game’s community overwhelmingly asked for harder levels, more variation (as there are only currently 5 levels, and they rotate them to create about 15 different maps), and better in game performance. Instead, months later, the only updates we’ve received are one that shows you an advertisement after every level, and one update that added a new loading screen and different colored maps, but no real change to the maps themselves. ✓ Newest update camera issuesI load up the game whenever I have a spare minute or two to unwind or destress. My kids and I have gotten up to castle 1750 after purchasing the ad-free upgrade. For me, the everlasting appeal of this game is watching the castles get destroyed from a well placed shot. It's very satisfying to see the bricks go flying from an explosion or the big structures fall apart as the foundations are destabilized. Unfortunately the newest update added a new camera mechanic that changes the view considerably. For any soldier affected by cannon shot, the camera suddenly focuses directly on one soldier for quite a zoomed-in view as he falls or flies away in the distance. This lasts for several seconds and as it happens, any subsequent castle destruction or TNT crate explosions are out of view! Not only is it jarring, it also makes the game less fun to play. At the very least it should have been an option to turn this added camera dynamic on or off. It could also be a manual button that appears after firing the cannon, though quite honestly I probably would rarely use it. The other additions, like the new castle desgins, soldiers thought bubbles with various reaction emojis, bonus 3-shot meter, burning debris effects, and boss fights, are great on the whole. However I'd suggest that boss fights should be every ten levels instead of five, considering there's only one boss castle design at this time..Version: 1.5.0

Managed to get to level 48 but have had to reboot 5 times to get there. Every time you log on again you have to go through the privacy notice. ✓ Lagging and Data LossI find this game really amusing and entertaining, but there’s two main problems. First of all is the lag. While playing this game the game will all of a sudden sometimes slow down and get so laggy that when you click to aim you’ll wind up landing the crosshairs somewhere other than where you thought it would land. The other problem is the fact that I’ve had the game close on me twice now and lose my progress. The first time it did this I was only on like level 10 and when I went back in I was on level 4. But it just did it again today and I was on level 76 and now I’m back on 51. Also, I agree with what some of the other people in the comments are saying. One of the functions of the game should be to allow you to keep shooting after you pass the threshold for the next level, to see how much damage you can get with the remaining cannonballs, and there should also be a percent damage indicator somewhere on the screen, so people can see if they can get 100% on every level..Version: 1.4.1
✓ Almost...I got this game and it very quickly became addicting and rewarding. As you progress you earn more coins and you can choose to upgrade your cannons power or the amount of coins you earn at a time or the power of a perfect shot. It was only until I believe level 20 that it was broken, upon arrival the castle is impossible to take down even with watching an ad for three extra shots, I tried for almost a week to beat it with no avail. One day i logged onto the game and the level was just gone and I was progressed beyond it. It was a very exciting time until I realized along with taking that level out they also took out all the rewards, all the coins that continued to bring me back. I continued playing hoping it was a bug in that level and it would return. Well now I’m on level 70 and perfect shots no longer exist, upgrades have not returned, the ads become more frequent and the levels continue to repeat sometimes without the angle even changing. It was fun for a while but voodoo missed their shot. Maybe I’ll return if the game stops breaking and they bring upgrades back. - A suggestion for voodoo. Make the levels harder as you progress, when I’m above level 50 and i can take the entire castle down with one shot thats kind of pointless..Version: 1.3.0

The major bug is a small ad box that pops up that block the view of the castle when playing the game. I hides most of the castle and you can close it, you do anything. It is crazy! ✓ A Ton-O-Fun Except...I agree with a bunch of other reviews. This game is a lot of fun choosing your cannon (although they apparently all do the same thing), aiming and letting it fly.... then the irritating part happens. As your cannonball hits the castle bricks begin to fall and crumble. This is well done with the physics somewhat accurately taking place. However, the camera system needs work. Most times the camera will quickly shift away from the crumbling buildings to zoom in and follow a guard flying away due to the blast. The camera then shifts back to the castle and the destruction of your cannonball is finished. You miss 50-80% of the crumble and fall. It’s the whole reasoner get the game in the first place, to blow stuff up. It is just disappointing that you miss most of the carnage. I also wish that the cannons would each do something different other than their appearance. ✓ Needs workThe game concept is great. But as they say “the devil is in the details” It seems though that you’re supposed to guess what works by trial and error. And who knows what the various power ups mean (assuming their supposed to be power ups). A simple tutorial describing what the various buttons do and the games features do would help. As a example there is a button that looks like a map. When you click it there is a arrow that moves up and down pointing at something but I have no idea what it means. I am sure there is a strategy to it (but I have no idea what it is). Are some bricks weaker then others? Do the towers have a sweet spot to aim at? Do some parts of the castle mean more than other parts, and if so is there some way to tell what those parts are? And about the ads: everyone has to make money and as such either a game has to be supported by ads or subscriptions. I don’t mind watching ads after each round but DURING shots? You should definitely add more castles, maybe a system to build your own castle, and more building blocks that stone bricks. Use those wooden planks as supports so they actually bring towers falling in a direction and smashing as they hit the floor. Add some interaction with blocks as they go flying and take out other blocks as they slam into them I’ve a lot of experience with troubleshooting for game devs, and know a good bit about coding. Yes, it’s a good time killer, but this whole game has the feel of being slapped together not as a good game, but as a vehicle for endless ads, which appear after ever couple levels unless you buy the as free version. The only thing that changes is a slight change in the angle from which you shoot. The graphics are simplistic and laggy, and the game often crashes. It is a great concept and great for wasting some time, but there’s some problems. First off, there needs to be more than just about 15 levels that repeat over and over. It’s especially annoying that the boss level is literally exactly the same every single time. However, I think the biggest problem in the game is TNT. TNT makes it less fun because it makes it so incredibly easy. There are certain levels where I think it will be fun to try to knock over a few towers separately and enjoy the destruction slowly, but there’s just SO much TNT that you hit absolutely anything and they all just blow each other up and the level is over immediately. However, although there are “levels,” there is no incentive to keep playing and/or “do better.” What I mean by that is the only stat that is kept is how many levels you beat. One look at the leaderboards would show that there is no end (top scorer is on a level in the millions or something ridiculous). It would be more addictive if there were scores/records kept on each level. When you make a hit, and even more so if you hit the TNT, the frame rate drops to almost frame-by-frame speed as the bricks go flying off. ✓ Good game/poor screen feedbackI bought this game when it was in a more basic form, and enjoyed playing it. It has seen a few updates since then, which have made playability more frustrating for me. When you completely destroy a castle (a chain reaction) the screen focuses on a single point, rather than the whole castle, so you can’t see what’s been destroyed. As the game satisfaction is based on this destruction taking place it makes the game play very frustrating. ✓ So good!!! - but still needs workI won’t lie. I love this stinkin’ game. I’m almost to level 1000 already. No idea how far it goes. I love that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to play and enjoy this game. I would give it five stars, but... IT NEEDS MORE VARIETY! Each “Boss” level is almost, if not exactly, identical to the one before it. I wish the levels got harder as we progress. I also wish it wasn’t the same rotation of castles throughout every single level. I also would love it if I could retry a level once it’s completed to try and get a better score - for instance, if I only get one or two stars, I wish there was an option to retry the entire level to get three. I would also love it if we were awarded extra coins or a power up if we obliterate a level with one cannonball. And add an option to double the size of the cannonball if you pay a certain number of coins, or give them as an occasional gift in the treasure chest. However..., for some reason the camera follows the little puppet soldiers (which are essentially just props, not important for gameplay at all) instead of focusing on the destruction. I don't understand why people are complaining this game is too hard. It's the easiest mobile game I've ever played, and I really enjoyed it at first, but now that I'm such a high level, the game is super repetitive and I know exactly where to hit castles to win. I only had one castle that took more than one try to beat. The little details added are pretty nice but I'd like to see some major developments. I went through the entire map and it reset as if I had never beat those levels, while still saying I have the same level. If you were to add more modes, more maps, upgrades to the cannon, something to actually make the game progress, this would be a much better game. Then if you tried to click the cross icon to stop, you are taken to the app store to download the app!! This is ridiculousl!
