✓ Rubbish global exchange updateWas a great game until they played around with the global exchange, was 20 second refresh and the opportunity to go to other cities to check out what items they had on sale, now 4 minutes or paying to refresh quicker and the chance to visit other cities removed. ✓ Good until it’s notI’ve spent countless moths straight on this game, I spent money for passes for certain events. It’s a great game and has kept my attention for a long time, however yesterday after me spending 6 hours and money on one event I was about 1-2 more pieces away from completing my bridge to a new island, I was so excited. Then the game crashed and my entire road I spent the last 6 hours on and who knows how much money on the pass to help me get that far disappeared. Gone. Completely gone. All my other progress is still there and nothing else changed. Emailed support about this and nothing. ✓ Disappointing & TediousThe ad for this game showed features that do not exist in this game. Surprise! That reason alone is enough to zero-star this game. Playing through it, I found this to be one of those games where storage management becomes a major issue. Global City unloads a ton of required stuff on you (upgrade components and tickets) and can max out your storage before you even collect any manufactured items. Your only choice is to sell off (marketplace or “delete”) the things you need. Not fun. I’m also not a fan of the pre-defined tracked development. Major sites (resource points, airports, port, train station, etc.) are all set into fixed points. Expanding your city is limited to areas around/between these sites. And lastly, it’s tedious because building up requires repeatedly creating resources, combing, creating, combining, creating, combining, (etc.) over and over and over. (While trying to avoid storage limits.) Also not fun. But, this is just my opinion. (Except for the fake ad.) But hey, the graphics look nice..Version: 0.5.7469

✓ Great Game but moving goalposts is not onI have been playing this game for some time and have enjoyed it, tonight though it seems the developers have decided to move the goalposts, I now can’t make anything for my military and my aircraft carrier has vanished into thin air. Points have been lowered means you have to build double what you used to and they have moved the level your game is at higher so you can’t build what you used to. I thing this is totally unfair and a bad decision for your game, I will no longer play the game. I have given 2 stars because of the rip off by the developers. I have written several times asking to unsubscribe, and all I get is, “Currently, there is no such option in the game. I like the details associated with the equipment and housing styles, as well as the way it looks and functions. I think it gives “Simcity Buildit” a run for its money. A couple drawbacks though which I hope the team address: Issue 1: Please remove the sound of the birds chirping. This gets very annoying very fast to the point where I have to turn off the sound, which is too bad because the other sounds are really good. Issue 2: Too many segments to build things. It’s very frustrating that it takes more than 3 separate “constructions” to build new things. Issue 3: Too much time is spent just replenishing materials to your various plants etc. I wish this could be more automatic so I can spend more time on the city itself. ✓ Not enough storageI used to play Cityville years ago so thought I would like this game - wrong. It’s become unplayable…. I’m completing orders by ship & plane & having so many different things drop that take room up in the storage that I can no longer produce any goods to continue building because there’s no room to store them! I have various blueprints, storage upgrade items & city hall upgrade items, territory expansion items, but not enough to upgrade anything. My storage capacity is 55, and is currently using 52 spaces, none of which are taken by goods. The only way to lower space is to sell items, but I don’t want to sell anything so it’s game over because I can’t complete any further tasks if there’s not enough room to store the goods….. ! The game is pretty good graphically speaking but it involves collecting/manufacturing a lot of items which takes a long time so I possibly wouldn’t have stuck with this game even without the storage issue. ✓ Great game, events consume too much timeGlobal City: building game is a great game that I played for several weeks. Highly addictive, I enjoyed playing a very well tested and bug free game, and I was getting a great deal of pleasure creating my virtual city. However, where I find the game disappointing is events like the Zoo and City wheel. If you don’t want spend real money on the game, the only way to achieve these events is play the game for many hours on end, which I cannot afford to do. I would like an option within the game to collect the tokens needed for these events to be done at the speed of my available ‘playing time’ rather than real time. The event clock, for me, would only tick down when I actually have the game open. I am sorry, but although I was really enjoying the game, I have had to delete it as I realised that I cannot achieve all aspects of the game. I have taken snap shots of the place and the error message and explained what was happening yet I have not heard anything from customer service nor have they fixed the problem. I play on my phone, and I get nowhere near as much maximum coins from my city hall, unlike my mother, who plays it on the IPad. ✓ Quite update ruined the gameThe game use to be very F2P, but the devs have quietly updated the game to make more money. The market use to refresh every time you opened it. This lead to people quickly buying your items, you getting money, and freeing up space for more items. Recently the game was updated so that the market would refresh every 5 minutes or you could refresh it instantly like it use to for 2 bucks. This has lead to a huge clog of items. It now takes a full 2-3 days for your items to be bought, which slows the game play to a crawl, especially if you have a lot of items you want to keep. ✓ Brilliant game gone badI used to pay £1.99 a month for this game but it’s lost its interest now with all the extras that has been added each week, 2 or 3 contests going on, on top of the game itself. It’s a shame because really did like the game, but it’s gone the same way Sim City did with too many extras. At least other people come and destroy your city yet. I just need a game where you just build you city over time and that’s it. This was the game I thought would do this, but again I’m in the minority and other people must think it’s boring that’s why there is so many contests or the developers have just got greedy and want people to pay £10 a week to stand a chance in all the contests. The weekend boat one was good you got first place occasionally but now I have 3 ships ready and by the time I’ve sent them on the way someone or a couple of people have finished. ✓ A Work In ProgressI’ve played a lot of games like this. This one is fun and has a lot of potential. However, it has some glaring bugs and things which just seem to be left intentionally incomplete. For one thing, teams are completely pointless. You don’t do anything together and so it’s just a chat type thing. I would honestly prefer they just skip that part, but it shouldn’t have been rolled into the game with no purpose. Second, there is one item which floods 90% of the global exchange. This is just poor programming. It’s one thing to have a common item, but quite another for it to clog the market. Finally, the support function doesn’t work. Not that it really matters. It’s the same strategy printer companies use when they sell their printers at or below cost, knowing that the real money comes from selling ink. It’s legal and profitable. On the other hand, how ethical is it to use behavioral reinforcement to increase someone’s responses so that they will purchase more stuff. Companies manipulate the odds of winning online card games in theso a person will chase after their early wins. The longer they spend staring at their screens, the more likely they’ll buy something. What you’re doing with Global City is brilliant, After the customer tastes early, rapid growth, you bottleneck their production and offer quick fixes that will induce them into spending real money to move up. You’re not coercing anyone to spend their money. But what the hey, people pay big bucks to amusement parks for fake thrills. I have done so. It required an impossible amount of tokens to upgrade unless you buy a number of packs. It feels up very quick making it hard to juggle any one task and to store for the next as well. Part of my storage is items needed to upgrade storage and I’m not getting rid of them. ✓ Games alrightI just hate how you have to literally pay to win. The game gets boring after you buy one or two things and then your just like I’m done playing cause you don’t wanna spend money. I feel as it should be easier to get stuff and not take so long to make the stuff in the factories. I have the patience to wait for my builds and creating stuff but sometimes it gets to the point where it just takes to long. but for others it can just be annoying and mostly delete the game after 2 or 3 days. Also the maximum cap for pricing in the market is way to high. I saw sleepers which are the carpenter wood for 14,000 gold, like that is absurd no one should have to pay that much for something your gonna upgrade in like 5 seconds..Version: 0.7.8497

✓ Needs tinkeringFun game to play, user has lot of control. Needs a bit of tinkering, user can get award items which are not usable at her level, which is unfair, it occupies space in otherwise very small warehouse. It cannot be sold off either. It should be more support on warehouse extension, the purpose of the game should be building, trading, commerce, not struggling to build a warehouse. Also, items which are otherwise posted and not sold, the game should automatically buy it after a while. A user should not be locked out from trade just because she is selling stuff that nobody wants. A take back option would be nice too. The partial loading should be made available. After awhile the game is unusable if the gamer doesn’t find items to upgrade the warehouse and the city upgrades need more complex and quantitative high amount of materials. After i posted this i am giving 1 star only. The game is unplayable due to severe warehouse constraint. I had to delete it..Version: 0.6.7819
✓ Stopped loadingStarted off well, nice game which looks good then after a week it won’t connect so haven’t been able to play. Support team are meant to be looking into it but after reading other reviews I’m not too hopeful which is sad for what could be a very good game. Further to your reply and many emails to you before that, it appears that if your in the UK there is a problem and there is not they are going to do about it as it could take a “long time” to fix. Nothing about a refund of my money. In short, if your in the UK don’t expect much help and don’t waste any money..Version: 1.4440
✓ Writing too smallThe game concept looked quite good (2 stars because I couldn’t confirm this) but I tried playing it and couldn’t read the storyline/instructions because the font size was too small. I tried zooming in to read it but this wasn’t possible..Version: 3.6521
