✓ Fun but a lot of errorsI can’t believe this is an official Hasbro app because there are a lot of errors. For example Movies by Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson won’t accept half of his actual movies. Books by JK Rowling only accepts Harry Potter titles. There have been other categories with really questionable accepted and rejected answers. Makes for frustrating play..Version: 2.2.2

✓ Too many bugs and it freezesIt’s a fun game. I paid for the ads to be removed because they were about 30 seconds to a minute long. When the game started to freeze while playing it I would constantly have to close out the app and reopen for it to load. This wasnt truly bad until I started having to do it four or five time. I sent a letter to the help desk they said the developers new and it would be updated in the new version. Had to download the new version of the app bc it did not self update. Almost a day later it began freezing again only on certain categories. Would not download a third time..Version: 1.1.17
✓ Horrible app. Only losers play this.I refuse to believe I (IQ of 174) cannot win this stupid game. They literally never approve my answer and it always becomes a dispute which aggravates me severely. Seeing all these bozos win because they got an uncommon answer which puts them at 62 while i’m at 60 makes me want to punch them in the face. I’m loosing hundreds of coins BECAUSE THIS GAME IS RIGGED! I cannot believe that the app store let this app go on while it is a horrible influence for people with anger issues. ✓ Not the original gameThis game is not Scattergories, it’s okay but nothing like the original game. Annoying how you have to wait for others to play, should have a live play option. And have the original gameplay of picking a letter rather then putting whatever comes to mind.Version: 1.1.3
✓ Invite system is brokenGame is fun but I was hoping to be able to play with my wife but the invite a friend option is broken. We have both tried to invite each other through text messages and email and it just redirects us to the App Store. Very frustrating. ✓ Just downloadedJust downloaded today. Not even played for a full couple of hours and was really enjoying it off and on for that long. Came back on after a short break and kept saying “check your internet connection”….I’m under full WiFi. 🤔. Force closed about 10 times and relaunched. Didn’t work. Deleted and reinstalled. Nope. Waste of time to attempt any further. 1 star. Shame too, was really enjoying it for the short time I was able to play. Much better than the original Scattergories. There seems to be an issue where one round of each game has a preselected letter only they don’t tell you what that letter is so you have to waste time guessing until you get the right letter or use all your power moves. ✓ DisadvantageWould be fantastic if it wasn’t so Americanised as being from another country and not knowing a lot of American stores coffee shops etc makes it very hard and puts us at disadvantage! if you gonna make a game you need to make a little bit more generalised worldwide and not design revolves around one country it’s a bit unfair. in the end Because and the fact some questions were a bit hard and then some answers were declared is wrong when they were actually right, i deleting the app because it was a bit ridiculous. ✓ Could be great if it workedI’ve never had a game that freezes or crashes as much as this one. The category will pop up and the clock ticks, but I can’t type for quite a long time because it freezes the keyboard part. Then once it catches up, I have to rush to fix the errors and try to hurry. Then it often just crashes. My phone has all updates and doesn’t do this any other app. Doesn’t seem to make a difference if I’m using wifi or not. ✓ Annoyingly buggyCrashes and fails to load, changes screens without being prompted. This game needs some serious reworking. There are honestly too many bugs to keep it enjoyable for me. I loved playing Scattergories as a kid so I was excited to try this one out for iOS. But I’m rather disappointed with its clunky features. There are 30 sec adds after every turn and it’ll cost you a whopping $4 for the ad-free version? No thanks. I’m also annoyed that I have had to reinstall it twice today just to keep up on my 3 games. ✓ BotsIf you play a random opponent they will most likely be a bot, which would be fine if they were transparent about it and if the bots answers made sense. Really, the only 3 countries you know in the Pacific are Argentina, Guatemala, and the Solomon Islands? Here’s an idea, import rounds from past human users and have the bots use those answers, instead of answering improbably few times, improbably quickly, with improbable answers. ✓ LOT Of Bots...You have to wait a long time for people to play against you. I think because of this the game has created bots. Basically, any opponents that has a photo and/or has a last name letter (like Christopher B., or Mary S., etc) is a bot. I find that these ‘players’ are on ALL DAY, and their answers are dead giveaways. I paid for no ads, and that’s helpful, but it’s starting to get old winning to the same bots over and over..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Not Actually ScattergoriesJust to warn new users-this game is called Scattergories, but it isn’t. In Scattergories, all of the answers start with the same letter, but in this game you just try to come up with as many things as possible that fit the category. That being said, it is reasonably entertaining, except for when it doesn’t accept correct answers because they didn’t make the list. Also not good for people who don’t type very fast on their phones..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Recent update needs fixing!I waited a while to see if this would correct, but it hasn’t. Since the last update, I play two rounds with an opponent and go back to the menu only to find neither saved! This has been happening constantly & I'm over it. I’m fine with shortening the game to 3 rounds (too many people quit after they lost 3 and wouldn’t finish), but this is ridiculous. I’m sick of playing the same rounds over and over because the game won’t save them correctly. Get it together! And bring back the rematch button. My main issues— all of the unfinished games if people aren’t coming back to it (scrolling through is annoying), and I wish there was a way to “find friends” if you’re connected to fb. ✓ Has potential but poor designThe concept of the game is great but there’s several issues. 1) It freezes and glitches a lot. You watch an Ad to get more time for a round but after the ad it ends the round or freezes so you have to restart. 2) There’s no time limit for people to play a round, multiple people have accepted a challenge and then never played. I can’t end game without choosing to forfeit so instead games sit on my list forever. 3) Once you accept a challenge with a player and finish, it no longer asks for approval they can start as many games with you as they want without asking your approval again..Version: 1.1.3

Sometimes the points are higher for the same answer from your opponent. There are not enough players probably due to the insane amount of long ads. ✓ Love the game, HATE the glitchy adsPlease, for the love of God, fix the glitching/freezing ads. They are driving me insane. The ads make the game freeze, so you have to force the game to shut down and start over. I will never buy the games on those ads just because they’re ruining the game I’m already trying to play. (That’s the opposite goal of advertising.) Also, I wish the categories would get switched up a little more often. I know every country in Europe that starts with the letter “L” now. So there’s that. ✓ Used to be goodI was enjoying this game a lot! Lots of fun in a low stress kind of way. I paid for the no ad version, not because of the ads. I don’t really care about that. It is because when I enjoy a game, I like to help support the developers. Anyway, the bonus round stopped working, which is the 3rd round of every game so I can’t get past round 2. Ok fine, I’ll just start a new game every single time I wanted to play. That stopped working too. When I start a new game, it automatically starts a game with the same player over and over. It is supposed to be a random player. It certainly is not. I contacted the company. They said the developers are aware of the problem and an update should be out in a couple of days to resolve the issue. That was 2 weeks ago….Version: 1.1.17

Be it for their ludicrous reward system or their intrusive ads which I don’t bother watching anyway. ✓ Good needs improvementI love the app but there have been a few bugs lately. Not getting coins from winning matches is really ticking me off. Also you guys need to update your system because I had a question about Quentin Tarantino movies and it legit didn’t recognize two of the answers that where correct. Also you need to make it recognize what your trying to say when you spell one word,like for Bob Marley I put Rock cause he has a song called Trenchtown Rock but I didn’t get points for it. Another thing you need to add is when you win 3 rounds auto end the match. It’s so annoying waiting 2+ days for someone to open the app and end the match when you already won. And also your notifications don’t work I’ve had notifications on since I got the app in the end of April and I have never gotten a single 1 to go off. ✓ Fun but so many wrong answers - Can’t do it anymoreThere’s zero quality control here. So many wrong answers are allowed. Like blatantly wrong answers. Wildly wrong answers. Incomplete and misspelled answers also allowed. And so many verifiably correct answers are dinged as incorrect. No fun to play when it’s 50/50 chance the game makers know the correct answers. Definitely not QA’d by anyone in the west. Not sure who checks the answers/facts but definitely not American or European. And likely no one over age 22. Really, some of the lists are written by people who know nothing about the world. It’s fine if it’s not oriented to western culture but then don’t use western categories if you don’t know the correct answers. And the list of “offensive” words is ridiculous. And now certain buttons/functions just won’t work at all, like “tap to collect” and being able to watch an ad for more time to type in answers. For a slow typer on my phone, I enjoyed that option. There should be a way to personalize game topics. There were several times I couldn’t play at all because the categories are not meant for everyone. Also, some categories are quite limited on acceptable answers. For example, salsa and tomatoes are not the same thing, but Scattergories says they are. Other times, you can list cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese separately, but the next game autocorrects “cheese” to “cheddar cheese”. In other words, a player never knows what is acceptable. ✓ No it’s junkStick to fight list as it’s the same game but way better. The answers I gave are the same answers my opponent gave but hers are worth double the points!!! How is this fair? It isn’t . So I’m done. It was coleslaw ingredients and I listed vinegar and it was worth thirty points, while her vinegar was worth 60! Same word exactly. It happened multiple times and it caused me to lose the game. Because my opponents had the same answers as me that came through worth higher points, they beat me even though I had way more answers than they did. What a crock. Fight list answers are rated the same for everyone. That’s the way it should be. I don’t mind some answers getting higher scores because they’re a better answer. ✓ DisappointedAs others have said - the categories and answers are too American focused. They accept some international answers; but not others that I would think are well known for the category. It would be nice if you could just ‘pass’ and miss a round you definitely don’t know (or you’ve run out of answers with a lot of time remaining). The letter rounds are silly - there are often hardly any appropriate answers. One letter; one topic - could work with certain topics & edited letter options. Also waaay too many ads. In short; the app feels a bit poorly made & I definitely don’t think they are listening to feedback. If the same review is written by multiple players for over a year; we are being ignored. There should be a separate option to challenge a computer if having an AI is a must. Secondly, as of a few days ago, the game will not load anymore. ✓ Played this game for YEARSI stopped for no real reason started playing recently and saw that the reveal answers are filled with incorrect answers. For example 80s boy bands, first of all there weren’t many in the 80s and that category doesn’t include rock bands from the 80s Motley Crue isn’t a boy band and Jackson 5 weren’t together in the 80s. I used to love this game now the answers you have filled your database with are wrong. So I’m done with this game. ✓ Fun Game...When it works.For a fast-paced game, it seems to freeze a lot, which will lose you valuable typing time and points. Additionally, ads are very broken. I’m willing to sit through ads between matches (though three ads after a round seems like a lot) but they don’t even work. ✓ Fun, But Clear IssuesI want to give this game more stars, but, quite frankly there’s just too much. Most of it is common sense answers that are missing. Your lists need to be updated to accept these answers. Example would be you don’t have all the actors who’ve played batman listed as possible answers. There’s also an issue when listing multiples of movies like example Back to the Future will often accept one and two but will claim it as a repeat if you enter three. Since typing fast and accurate on a phone is often hard to do it would be great if we could have an auto fill feature. It also wouldn’t hurt to double check what the person is actually writing. If I put mammals don’t give me monotreme. Lastly, I get that you’re trying not to allow sensitive words to be typed, but, if you’re asking me what goes in soup and I’m typing crackers, I’m obviously talking about crackers. If you’re asking for wedding dress designers and I put Vera Wang I’m clearly just trying to answer the question. There have been several instances of trying to add what would be a right answer but the game won’t accept it. Your sensors are way too high for this game. Other than that the game has potential. The company has created bot accounts, (ie Ethan C.) whose answers were ridiculously uncommon and he answered so quickly that even when we answered in opposite order the bot earned double the points for both answers! I’m sure they have to create bot accounts to ensure people have competition but I think the company could come up with a better algorithm to make it more realistic. How do I know? I reversed google image searched the image associated with the account and it’s a stock photo used multiple times over by different companies and he goes by multiple names (Michael, technical director at design firm). This is just one bot account I stumbled upon in the first day of playing. I’m sure there are thousands. The new, untimed “story” levels are awesome… but you’ll roll and get a topic, and it will be a different topic. Also, often it won’t let you play, and sometimes you’ve just spent coins spinning and it won’t let you play. The next time you can play, it makes you spin again. Waste of coins and frustrating. Also, one of the previous updates caused winnings to be 3 coins after 5 rounds. But on any one round, a hint is 100 coins! It used to be 50 coins each win! ✓ The Fun is Worth 5 Stars, But Glitches...This game is so much fun. I have enjoyed it very much! However, I have rated it three stars because I have been experiencing glitching throughout the entire day. The time will be ticking, but it won’t let me put an answer in. While in the middle of a game, and I get taken back to my Home Screen and end up losing the round. It has been freezing quite a bit, especially in the middle of rounds. ✓ Good Potential. Terrible execution.I pay for the premium version of this app as I use it to excercise and wind the mind down before bed. THERE ARE STILL ADS?! Repeat categories happen pretty often. Many common, correct & viable answers won’t count simply because this app is severely under developed. I’m bummed that I paid for the membership to remove ads. Still have to deal with it all. Great potential for a game so man love but the development team really needs to take a look at the structure/contents of the game. Def regret spending the money but it is fun when it works correctly. ✓ I want to give it more stars...But... This app has been super glitchy in the short time I’ve been using it. A few things seem to be happening, not sure if there is a fix. While I play the game, my phone has been either charging or not charging, and no other apps are running at the same time. Even with that, I’ve been experiencing: -App freezing while the timer is going, which ends up effecting both outcome and score. -App freezing or crashing while clicking around to different places in the app. -App freezing or crashing while ads play. -My phone runs super hot while using only this app. Using iPhone 7, and I restart every couple of days. ✓ Good gameFinally they added very few new categories - I was so excited...however...I’ve been playing off and on all day and have seen the same 10-15 categories come up constantly and it’s like all the other categories from before have disappeared. ✓ Mostly FunThe game needs to be updated with some categories. I’ve specifically noticed it in music categories when older music or more specific artists get 0 points. Also, there are a lot of levels that let you say redicilously ambiguous answers but some ask for just a few very specific answers. Ex: category “Friends Characters, but the only acceptable answers are the 6 main characters. Why is Gunther getting the shaft? And I would love it if the next update ended the levels where you have to use one beginning letter. There’s another version of this game with that specific and it’s my least favorite part of this version..Version: 1.1.14
✓ Please fix the letter E glitch!I love this game but please fix the glitch in the bonus round. The dice rolls to the letter E and the whole game freezes. ✓ Can’t even play the gameI want to play this game and I don’t expect to dislike it if I do! But it’s telling me there’s an update and that I can’t play it until I update it... I downloaded it just now. And immediately opened it. It should be completely updated. I tried to look for the update, but there isn’t one. ✓ Ads, ads and more adsGreat game that could be a lot more fun. First problem is there’s an ad to sit through after literally everything you do. I don’t mind giving a day or two to an opponent to respond during a game, but I have a ton of “waiting for opponent” on my screen. Many of those have been there for days and I’m comfortably in the lead of, but the only way I see to get rid of them is for me to forfeit. Also should be a limit on the time extenders and answer reveals in a round. Some of these scores are ridiculously high and you have no way of reaching without a “cheat.”.Version: 1.1.3
