✓ The best game nut the hospitalThe game is a very fun and I play it almost every day and there are no glitches, until I try to use the ambulance. The ambulance works on other buildings but when I try on some other buildings it doesn’t want to place the ambulance symbol and when it does it doesn’t work so I don’t know if it’s my phone but other than that everything else runs smoothly..Version: 1.10.86
✓ Been Waiting a long time for a game like this.TheTown is absolutely the best city sim game I’ve discovered for IOS. I’m not forced to wait days for things to finish or to enjoy the game. It just lets my creativity and my creation to manifest itself in the easiest way possible and that’s what I love about this game. I can make dams, Overpasses, lush hills! ✓ Great little gamePlaying this game is like a breath of fresh air. It takes me right back to the good old days before premium content, adverts and cash-grabs ruined good gaming. This is a straightforward, enjoyable city building experience that goes right back to basics and doesn’t make you feel ripped off like 99% of modern IOS games do. ✓ Major issueI love this game so much, however there is one major problem, after a couple weeks of the start of a new game the saved city is automatically deleted. ✓ Best Mobile Title Ever, But..I absolutely love this game. It reminds me so much of City Skylines, but has its own refreshing art style and mechanics. I especially love the agency and how there is so much content there’s no reason to stop playing! What I also very much appreciate is the connections you can have between you cities. You can connect water, power, garbage collecting, and other stuff too. It allows you to not have that stuff so you have more space to create! However, I wish you could have more connection between cities, like people have jobs in other areas of your region, so then I can have more space for residential zoning. ✓ Thank you for making thisI have been playing before airports add-ons and I still play it. Your updates are all good so far and am no complaining. You adding the add-ons into the games makes it so if you get bored of some of the buildings there is always the Community making things to make you have a better experience. It’s like frosting on the cake it just makes everything better. ✓ Great game!I love the game and how you don’t need to buy anything too play it, but they are there if you want them, I think the plugin method is ok but I’m not sure how I feel about the add part and what not. Water is confusing to place and can be a pain. ✓ Games been glitchy lately.I’ve been playing TheoTown for some time and I like this game. But there’s a huge glitch that I do not like and it annoys me a lot. So I have this single city that is built in a colossal map which is the largest map. And my city has almost 1 million inhabitants. But when I try putting some music in the background for example it bugs the audio out. The music glitches and so does the sound effects. I know this is the game because even the sound effects glitch out too. I have a good end device which means I hardly almost never receive any lag when playing this game. Glitch has been happening for almost a month and it’s been affecting my gameplay. If you could please fix this issue I would really appreciate it. Thanks 🙏.Version: 1.11.36
✓ PERFECTI just downloaded this game yesterday and I’m amazed. It’s so awesome. It like perfect for people who want to make a city. It isn’t 3D but it’s still awesome. This game is like Cities : Skylines but it’s just 2D and it doesn’t have the same stuff as Cities : Skylines but it does have some similar stuff. ✓ AmazingI wasn’t to sure what to expect for the low price and with no IAP. Having played it for a few hours I can say WOW! This game takes me right back to Simcity 2000. It’s obviously been made with passion. From the art style to the music everything is brilliant. And don’t think it’s a simplified game for the simple youth of today. Nope. ✓ Really fun game butThis game is super awesome but the one thing I’m disappointed about is there was some sort of glitch and with the daily reward system and I got day 7 rewards on day 3, and missed 4 days of rewards. ✓ ReviewTheoTown is a very nice game with a nice pixel art design and a whole bunch of features that sim city never had. This is easily the most underrated game on iOS, The graphics the lack of micro transactions makes it such a good game. It’s very relaxing to play and multiplayer adds for huge community projects, the plugins page allow to support smaller designers ideas. Unlike modern reboots of games such as sim city now Sim city build it and roller coaster tycoon it doesn’t contain a 3D style and I like that, also these two titles are owned by EA so it’s filled to the brim with micro transactions to milk the nostalgia out of the games. While micro transactions on Theo town are smaller and have the reward guaranteed usually the transactions are 3 fancy buildings and 200 gems (premium currency used to purchase developer add ons) Also the ability to buy gems even though watching an ad for 15 and logging on for a daily gem reward is way better then purchasing them individually. Dev add ons are cheap and very use-full the price ranges from 15 gems to 400. So watch ads instead of purchasing gems. The music is very well done and requires skill. So well done to the dev and his mates. It’s a shame the App Store won’t acknowledge the games existence as searching it up the auto search won’t say it exists so that’s about 100,000 people lost because of apples need for money from transactions. However, this game is really impressive in how much you can do, given the limits of a mobile game. I’ve spent countless hours on this game when bored. ✓ Best building app hands downI rarely ever write a review on any game or app but I have to stop and do this because this is the best building app out there and I have tried many only to always come back to TheoTown because this app allows you to be as creative as you want without needing to put out any real money if you don’t want to. ✓ Best in 2 Decades!!I’ve been a city simmer for 20 years. I’ve played various programs since Sim City classic and after this long, I’ve found the perfect builder! You’ve managed to take the complexity of modern sims and merge it with the charm, look and feel of the original builders from decades ago. Fantastic! This city sim is 100% playable and user friendly. ✓ Good game, but small issue I found very fastTheres this small bug where if you use transports e.g trains, buses and more. And if you make the transport effective enough (which i did) the citizens for some reason teleport to the jobs instead of taking the transport, and this would be fine but when they would teleport to the jobs the game did not count it as “working” meaning for some reason i was making no money from the job sites. I don’t understand the criticism of the graphics, I think they’re great arcade style and good enough to tell what you’ve built. ✓ Great game, one suggestionThis game is so addicting; you constantly have something to do without unnecessarily long wait times. You control your city’s taxes and have to keep up with your citizens demands. You’ll never be forced to watch an ad, you’ll never be bombarded asking for your money. This is obviously a game from developers who care about our enjoyment rather than our money. My only suggestion is to make it so you can zoom out further, if possible. I’ve been having difficulties with sudden crashing and closing of the app. This interrupts gameplay as i cannot prepare for my city/region to be saved. I usually have to backtrack and add to my land little by little, instead of having a through and thorough playtime. This problem happens at any time, and on any land. ✓ Great app. Spent days playing itAs the title says. It is a great app. However, I do have a few nitpicks about it. The busses are too OP and seem to get all the use. The cargo dropoffs for the trains seem to not do anything. And the harbors seem to not do what a harbor is supposed to do which is to move resources from one place to another efficiently. Would like to see the ships traveling from one harbor to the next instead of just going back and forth in one little spot. Unless maybe you add harbors to the transportation tab, and ship routes. The buoys seem to not do anything. Other than those few nitpicks, the app is great, and perfect for those who have good management skills and for those trying to improve their management skills..Version: 1.10.86

✓ Fix zones and building.Please fix the zones and buildings, when I place a zone nothing gets built I have water and power connected and everything including roads. When you place a zone a building should instantly start building. A couple zones I have I built a year ago in game time about two days ago real life time and still have no building sometimes I end up having to place zones again on top of zones which is odd and shouldn’t have to happen. ✓ Literally The BestTheoTown is the best city sim on iOS, period. No ads and no micro transactions (hooray!), with nice graphics and engaging gameplay. To me, it’s basically the only city game on iOS worth getting; the mechanics are pretty realistic (for example, there isn’t a bunch of silly, unrealistic junk like trying to collect three sneakers and an ice cream cone to build something *cough* SimCity BuildIt *cough*) and the plugins to get unique buildings are an awesome touch that makes your cities feel realistic and unique. If you liked SimCity 2000 back in the day, or even if you like Cities Skylines on your PC, this is a great way (and really, the ONLY way) to get that kind of experience on iOS. However the tutorial has a tendency to not explain things, such as building a park, I place the park down and it was still highlighted. Or how to fix the power shortage, it just tells me that buildings need power with no explanation on what to do. ✓ Great game and great developersThis is a great game, and so addictive - I have literally lost hours building cities with this game. I had a bug issue with a recent update but the developers came back to me overnight and within 24 hours it was resolved. As for complaints about the graphics , this is not an issue for me as it reminds me of the old PC Sim City games, which I loved. Think of them as ‘retro’. For maximum enjoyment make sure to check out and download some of the plugins when you start playing - I ignored them to start with but they offer some great additions to the cities, and make them feel like real cities (big shout out to all those who put the time and effort into building them too - thank you!).Version: 1.8.85

Despite it seeming that the graphics aren’t good you get use to it fast with its own unique art style and soundtrack and even after a while you get use to the graphics. ✓ Better than SC4?!Okay, nothing can beat that game, but this one comes so close someone could easily confuse the two. First off, this isn’t pay-to-play like the other games, as fun as they can still be, the money is the money in the game. Takes patience. Nothing is more entertaining than zoning, putting in the fire stations, bus stops and everything and watching it come to life. Seeing people come to your city and want to live there is inspiring, already even the small cities are seeing mass population growth. For example, I have a lot of residential buildings i’m trying to build but they all end up being just green squares and don’t build.
