✓ Got through tutorial fine but crashes constantly after thatManaged to get through the tutorial no problem but crashes for everything afterwards (and I do mean EVERYTHING now, including the previous missions that were part of the tutorial). I can load in to the main menu fine and collect my gatcha pulls and what-not, however that is the extent of my functionality for now, as whenever I try to start any quest that needs to be unpacked (aka loaded), the game will immediately crash once it reaches around the 50% progress mark, as stated in another user review for this game. It’s a shame honestly. The gameplay for this game is quite enjoyable but game-breaking bugs like this definitely detract from said enjoyment..TheTrollsTollVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Needs to get better.I am a massive FotNS fan , but even my love for the show will not let me over look some massive flaws this game has especially for a gacha game released in 2019. ✓ Worst tutorial everThis game has the most exasperated tutorial I’ve ever seen. It’s been an hour since I’ve downloaded the game and I’m still not in control of the game due to the hand-holding tutorial. I leveled up from level 4 to level 15 and unlocked several game modes and the game is determined to hold my hand through every game mode I unlocked. ✓ Cash of the North StarThe game is very polished and fun, but it’s turned into another whoever spends the most wins. Casual players won’t even make it anywhere near competitive and say goodbye to events, because they as well are for cash players. ✓ Crashing into the pay wallI love this game so much, mostly because it satisfies my FotNS mood. But there is a glaring issue with the pay wall they’ve built, including with there “VIP” system. Essentially the more gems you buy the better rewards you get including discounts on certain things, and certain characters who are locked behind pay walls like Raoh. And I know they need to do maintenance at some point but I have had 3 occasions where I’ve been booted out of the game because of it and it’s getting frustrating. And also just crashes in general. But still, it’s FotNS, and I love seeing my favorite characters so I’m hoping maybe they’ll change somethings..Bdimes$Version: 1.0.1

✓ Cool GameGame’s pretty awesome, if you like these kinda games. Graphics are decent, great time waster, especially if you love FotNS. Can’t wait till they update it! Literally can’t play it now for some reason. Story missions crash while unpacking, even the ones’s I’ve already beaten. I’ll change this to a one star if I care enough after missing out on too many new server campaign bonuses. The crashes are unavoidable, and until they fix it I’m locked out of participating in multiple aspects of the game. ✓ Great attempt.If you’re a true fan of Fist of the North Star, you’ll love this game at first. The graphics and sounds are great. But soon you’ll learn, it’s barely a game. Gameplay is simplistic to almost non-existant. Nostalgia will keep you around hoping to get the characters you love. But soon you’ll learn to get those characters and to be strong in vs play, you’ll have to drop ALOT of money. ✓ Too much loadingI spend more time waiting for this game to finish loading than actually playing the game. Makes me not want to play and quit. It’s also very unbalanced play mechanics. It doesn’t matter how powerful you make a character. It’s about having the newest characters and building them up if you can afford it. Too many ways to build a character to force the user to pay to play. You can have 400k team power and lose to someone with 100k power. How’s that make sense? This game used to be fun. ✓ Massive story and tower bugsThis is a great game let’s get that out of the way. Enjoy the manga and anime and really want to play this app, that said you can only do the first 3 chapters and the game will freeze every time. The developers have bigger issues than for us to actually enjoy their product. You can only get your daily rewards and some other basic daily things but as far as story mode or tower this is useless. ✓ Great production value but not very funI have to admit, the first half an hour playing this game, I was blown away. The art, voice acting, music, the high production cut scenes, everything was spot on. And as a fan of Hokuto no Ken, this game seemed like a dream come true. It was just oozing with nostalgia and fan service. But play for awhile, and you discover the gameplay is almost nonexistent. The battles look great and sound great and the specials are a joy to watch, but the combat is so simplistic it’s barely a game. Instead of fighting battles, 90% of your time spent with this game will be opening chests, farming mats, upgrading you units, stuff like that. If that sounds like fun, and you enjoy seeing your favorite Hokuto no Ken characters increase their stats with bigger numbers popping over their heads all the time, then this game is for you. Otherwise, the gameplay is pretty boring which mainly consists of farming and upgrading. Still, might as well give it a shot since it’s free to try. Typical Gacha game who lucked out obtaining the fist of the North Star rights. Even if you get a special fighter, get ready to throw even more money trying to level him up. And by the time you get him up there he's just a decent guy now because every new special fighter released is way stronger than the previous one. Instead of making a game or even porting one from a previous console, you get this Gacha game with FotNS slapped on it. ✓ Loading ForeverEvery little tap on this game brings up a loading pinwheel. Sometimes I’m on the same screen as the equipment upgrade section and to use some mats to upgrade a single piece of gear makes me wait 20-40 seconds to load there upgrade. To load the upgrade needn’t take so much time. I actually got frustrated at my game while enhancing the characters because it took so long to load. This makes the game relatively annoying to play and until they fix it I can’t recommend the game to anyone. It’s far too tedious. No dev responses. ✓ Too expensiveI’ve been playing since launch, this game is pay to win. You’ll never keep up with whales who give the devs the money they seek. Think about it, a triple A game is 60$ this game wants you to spend 100$ on 4000 gems. Which won’t get you a UR at all during either a gacha event, or UR summon event. It’s too grind heavy, too many stats to pad, exp takes to long to farm unless you’re a high VIP. There’s no good way to earn currency, and guilds are nearly baron. This game was promising, but it disappoints. It’s nothing more than a cash grab for SEGA. I also like how 99% of this games modes are ripped off from chinese rip off games. ✓ Hit a wallAbsolutely loved the game and found it extremely fun and addicting but upon completing a certain story chapter I was told to continue I had to be profile level 25, I was at 23. I then completed every available mission until there weren’t anymore for the day or I hit a wall of difficulty where I needed to level up characters before then using up over 100 stamina on replaying missions for xp and still was only on 23 (although much closer to 24). I’m not a fan of games that force me to wait and can only be played for a bit each day instead of just being playable so I left it and went to try out the manga instead - which is really good. If there’s a game like this without a wall anywhere I’d love to play it and maybe even put some money into it to show my support but I guess I’ll have to keep waiting... if you’re patient or only have some time each day though, this game is a must for you..JJ8270Version: 1.0.12
