It is great for killing time but there is 1 problem :( I was playing the new beach cup and saw all the teams u could want including Brazil Mozambique USA but there is no England which disappointed me greatly. ✓ Point of viewI wanted it to be more challenging so I turned off assist mode but it meant that the ball isn’t gonna be passed automatically to my teammates and that I had to do it myself and I had no problem with that but the thing is the things I can see are limited and I can’t see who I’m passing it to so very often I pass it to no one and wait for the enemy to get it or just pass it to the enemy by mistake..Version: 1.21

✓ Best sports game on Apple Arcade!Love this game. It captures the excitement of a soccer game without over complicating things. The best thing about it is just how cleverly it recreates the “tika-taka” feeling of play. It’s truly pick up and play, and yet once you find its rhythm it surprisingly deep in its controls. And a feature request…Only just downloaded and started playing, scored 6 goals in my first match, found out I could slow things down a bit and zoom out, playing match 2, had to temporarily stop to write this review… am loving playing this already and it’s NEARLY everything I’ve wanted since SWOS 96/97. Never thought I’d say it, but there might be a new contender to the Sensible Soccer crown… except… I’d love to see some new features in Charrua Soccer, if the devs deem it possible… (please? Pretty please?) 1) An option to enable a Sensi-style overhead camera that ONLY tracks up and down the pitch, giving the same view/perspective found in SWOS. With the zoomed-out mode and already great player animations, this would be AMAZING. 2) Adding after-touch, to bend the ball and move it more precisely after kicking it. I haven’t yet played with a physical controller but this would be insanely good… running in on goal, letting fly with a shot, then adding a touch of extra loft (pulling back on the controller), or swerving the ball left or right depending on how you want to shape it. The joy of doing this in SWOS was immeasurable. This game needs that feature. Both of these features would help SO MUCH with more accurate goal kicks, corners, passing in general, and making for more enjoyable shots on goal. 3) Bonus feature… save replays to camera roll (so I can share them, make a highlight reel, share with my old SWOS buddy) 4) Super bonus… control the slowmo during replays (e.g. choose from slow, super slow, or insanely slow) 5) Super extra bonus… different goal celebrations and commentaries! OK I’ll stop there for now. Gotta get back to the pitch. Please, lovely developers, consider adding some of these features in a future update? Thank you for a great game already!.Version: 6.01
✓ Fun game for non-sports fanI just recently downloaded this game and have only played the career mode so far. I am really enjoying it! I don’t usually like sports games but this one is challenging but not so hard that I don’t have a chance to win. Additionally, slowly developing and building up your players in career mode is something which reminds me of one of my favorite parts of playing RPGs. The only thing which is preventing me from giving 5 stars right now is the lack of player stats. In career mode it would be really great to have some type of stats on my players, at the minimum the goals scored by each player in the current season..Version: 3.01
✓ I would recommend!This game is very addictive and enjoyable. There are many modes and you can play with several teams around the globe! My personal favorite mode is Career because you can make your own team and design everything about it. There are a couple glitches, but all negatives aside this game is SO fun. I can’t stop playing it. If your skeptical about getting this, I would for sure try it. I’m a soccer player myself and this game gets me all worked up when I score, or when I can’t block a goal. ✓ Great game but could be better.Charrua soccer is a great game. Pros: It has good graphics, great options, a amazing play style, great ways to play, and realistic actions. You can make your own team, upgrade your team, make players for your team, and even make a coach for your team. Those were the pros. Coins: Isn’t worked on that much, it could use like a Multiplayer team mode, making home towns for your team, and having more weather options. If you like soccer. This game is for you. ✓ Good fun game but...This is a nice game to play In short bursts or for longer periods to really progress your team. The gameplay is fair and not frustrating like some other football games. I knocked off a star because some of the pitch colours are terrible for being able to see what’s going on and where the opposition are. The purple Halloween pitch needs to go ASAP. I have to change my team’s kit just to play on that pitch and sometimes the opposition players are nearly invisible!.Version: 3.01

✓ Great gameThe game is fun but I find it almost impossible to score goals against the best teams in vs computer mode. The goalkeepers make the craziest saves and it seems that no matter how many shots on goal you make they will always make stop it. It’s just a bit frustrating. Still lots of fun though!.Version: 1.31

✓ Glitches make this unplayableCareer mode is virtually unplayable as I get awarded with negative XP after nearly every match. Have to quit the app and restart. Gameplay decent but can’t play due to this glitch. Edit: they got back to me and told me how to fix the glitch! Thanks guys. Besides the glitch, gameplay was pretty good. ✓ Perfect fun!This is so fun, I miss the old FIFA where you could unlock the whole game and this has that nice aspect to it. Controls are simple, passing is fun and I like how different teams have different styles. Slowing down game speed was key for hitting the sweetspot. I love being able to play 2 minute matches between 2 random teams and the tournament mode is good. Unclear how to set up pvp with a friend in your network. ✓ Very fun arcade soccer gameThis is a really simple but fun soccer game. It feels really arcade, simple input, straightforward outcome and fast pace. Since this game is not focusing on “make it realistic”, therefore the cartoon style really meets the core experience. Even through the input is simple and the graphics is cartoonish, but the overall matching experience is very exciting. Every moment is the critical moment. You have to pay attention to where are your teammates, how close your opponents are, when to kick the ball and how hard should it be. The respond of each input is immediate and accurate, especially at the moment of changing directions. But there’re also some small drawbacks. Most of them are related to AI team mates. The AI seem like they don’t really care about the formation. In lots of cases, they’re basically everywhere. Another case is, when I am attacking, there’s always an AI team mate standing at the penalty area, and blocking the path of the ball. It’s quite annoying. The last case is the goal keeper is just way too powerful, they can catch the ball as long as they are near which makes the attacking more challenge. Overall, this is a fun arcade soccer game. Most Arcade soccer games don’t get it right usually because they try to make it part sim part Arcade. But this is not only pick and play friendly but it’s a riot to play as well. Developers. ✓ I love this gameI first downloaded this game a while back, around when apple arcade first released and played it ALL THE TIME in between classes. It was way more buggy back then and has gotten so much better now that I’ve picked it back up. I love the addition of the career mode and I’m always up for extra customization. I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but it really adds to the challenge as opposed to the urge to pick the most skilled team every time in the tournament mode. The only thing I could complain about is sometimes the passing and shooting assist seems to turn off for a match, and the players seem to just be kicking every single time instead of passing, even when you press that button..Version: 10.02

However, playing the career mode is plagued with a bug that gives you negative XP points after you win a game. **this seems to be fixed***) This has become my #1 game and I can’t stop playing it. The artwork is great and the options to customize are enough to make it fun but not too much to overwhelm. It’s nice to have male and female players. Though I wish the hair styles for male and female players were available for both. The game play can have a couple of glitches here and there. But it’s not bad. The developer did respond to my email and worked with me for a solution. *** Wish list: Ability to copy your existing team to another slot to make alternate alterations (career mode) Ability to change stadiums on game play (there is this awful purple turf - Halloween themed stadium that hurts my eyes as I play, the turf should be green) Allow us to re-play the lower cups in career mode. A board of player stats: Most goals, most fouls, most saves etc. An MVP at the end of a tournament. More buttons for players using Nimbus (or other console type) controllers.Version: 5.03

Only thing I wish they did add were more controls such as a pressing button when defending and maybe a through pass when attacking. So having 3 buttons.
