✓ Gorgeous and Fun, if you can playThe game has fantastic graphics for a mobile game, and the gameplay system is fun with just enough interesting stuff. However, older phones beware. I'm running this on a 5S and cannot progress further into Arc 4. The game crashes Everytime I try to play the battles. Dimensional Vortexes are impossible, as I cannot play one without crashing. One saving Grace the developers attempted to put in was a "Resume battle" should the game crashes. This helped me for a while, and it means your stamina and DigiRubies are not wasted in battle. The amount of resumes seems infinite, but it does not help if the battles themselves keep crashing Everytime on startup. I love Digimon to death, but the fact that I can barely play this game on my 5S is disappointing. I can somewhat focus on the other features, but I am locked out of the time-gated stuff thanks to the crashing preventing me from acquiring my needed resources. I'm keeping this at a 3 Star, as the game seems like it'd be fun for a newer phone. I had already planned to upgrade in the coming months, but I'm disappointed this game handles so poorly for older phones..Version: 1.0.5

✓ All down hill from hereI’ve played this game since early December 2019 played it until this date and the banner of BBM. I’m free to play and have been smart with my rubies and have a really stacked account. However now the power creep is too much. Over the past 3 months they have release too many strong units making it too hard to keep up. Use to the banner units would last you 2 - 3 months of relevancy in battle park (the only true source of weekly rubies). Now they might be relevant for 1-2 weeks. BBM just came out, a lot of people’s favorite and the next banner is going to put him on the shelf. Making the game pretty much pay to win now, because there’s no way to keep up with every banner to get the good units. The way they have it now you can’t skip banners and save, the power creep have turned into a power run and it’s sad. If only they cared about their player base. I get you have to make money but this is ridiculous. The only people who play anyways are the last of Digimon’s fan base. They’re really trying to burry it into the ground.Version: 2.2.1

✓ A game with potentialI play this game everyday and my main complaints would be the loading time between screens, whether its going to the missions or the raids. Going from any screen there is unnecessary loading times. They could make the missions/ challenges screens mini screens that pop up same with the friends, digi guild, and news screens to save screen time. The most unnecessary is the 3 star missions where they keep switching it up from special to main to sub making us waste time and going back to re do these missions to get the 3 star quota. Three star missions should be like finish in x amount of time, no units death, and maybe something like specific Digimon type. My biggest issue is the gem - summon system. 200 gems for 11 summons and you almost never, and i mean almost never get a rainbow pull. I play everyday and I try my best to rack up the gems only to be completely disappointed in my work when i get absolutely nothing worth adding to the team. If they could figure out a better gem format and work something for the rates this game could be much better. What does increasing the rates do besides get players to be more into the game? Either way. It’s a good game that needs a tremendous amount of work and revisions across all fields. The raids are great that would be the one thing i have no issue with..Version: 2.3.1
✓ Mixed feelings 2 1/2 starsAs per the title, the game itself has a lot of pluses. But as many have mentioned it has a terrible stamina system which hinders you severely. Another major issue is the lack of multiplayer content. You have clash battles, player partner digimon assists in regular content and pvp. But no actual team play as the previous 3 mentions are botted. Or in the case of CB fought independent of one another. My final issue is the horrible summon rates. If in 100 summons a player doesn’t land a rainbow on an INCREASED rainbow drop rate summons. You know somethings wrong, my biggest regret was dropping 100 on this game for 30 of those. Should have just stuck to the f2p, would have amounted to the same thing..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Crowmon is broken (Can’t continue the game)One problem I have is with Crowmon, I cannot see what Crowmon look’s like and if I put Crowmon in my party the game will freeze/crash. The dimensional vortex freezes/crashes me out too :( I can’t play the game because Crowmon got put on my recommended team for Battle Park and it’s forcing me to click gear up and go, so the loading screen comes and it crashes/freezes. Other then that it’s a great game, I look forward to seeing and taming more Digimon, I also look forward to the future updates! Merry Christmas!.Version: 2.3.1
✓ It is a good game but you should play it free without spending moneyTo all gamer who are currently playing this game or going to purchase this game. I had an issue in regard to a misleading advertisement in March through promotion in game. Finally they had contacted with me and agreed it was a misleading advertisement however BANDAI NAMCO is not going to do anything in regard to return the gems I have spent on the item, no intention of to do something to fix their fault. I enjoyed this game in past however I’m disappointing to see the result of not doing anything. I’ve seek for advice from WA Commence and they agreed I have to get full refund from this game. At the beginning I always thought a good company should know what need to be done if any faulty occurred so I’ve trying to deal with the Digimon Rearise team in regard about the issue instead of telling everyone about it. I was wrong. Just to advice for any gamer who playing this game. Don’t spend any more money for this as the gems is really costly and when the problem occurred they will not fix the issue they created and you will just wasted your gems. You will enjoy this game if you play it for free but if you are a gamer like me who consistent spending money to buy gems in game. Most likely you will regret like me. It is not easy to get refund from what I had experience. It is a still a on going case even with a strong evidence to prove. I’m a Digimon fans but to see how the game developer to deal with this particular issue, I have only disappointment. I’ll also suggest everyone to keep all screenshot if any problem occur. Dealing with the issue from their costumer link would be somehow a nightmare as you won’t able to attach any photo. You can only wait until they respond you and they “MAY” not respond to you due to the condition. To expect them to reply an email from what have you send will take about 5days to 1 week waiting time from my case and even they agreed they had done something wrong in past they won’t get back the gems you have wasted. ✓ Great game with Lousy Support and ExpensiveI’ve been playing since release, and I have always loved the show. The game is good so far, although the prices for gems are ridiculous. It’s $1 for 6 gems and it takes 10 to even summon 1 Digimon which 99% of the time will be worthless, unless you do the 10x summon which cost about $31 to do outright, and there’s still no guarantee on a digi that evolves to mega. On top of that I had a 104 battle win streak in the Battle park, which wasn’t easy and cost me money to do, but at 105 the “GAME” glitched and support pretty much told me to fly a kite. I’m sorry I’ve spent countless hours on your game, and spent real money on your game, and after your game glitched you can’t do anything about it. Really? Or even give me gems for the inconvenience. Over a 100 battles without a loss isn’t easy and it’s quite frustrating whenever a glitch ends it not another player.Version: 1.0.5

✓ Pretty aightIt’s pretty good though comes with the typical gacha game stuff like an annoying stamina system and Primium currency is a grind but possible to get so your encouraged to use real money. As of the current version the game also takes forever to load and it crashes randomly. Found the voice of the hedgehog digimon super annoying, went to change voice actor language to Japanese to see if it was better and the setting seems to only be available when starting the game for the first time. I hope we get fixes to current issues soon and adjustments to drops of certain items. Imma keep playing but only because the free 10 pull I got was really good.Version: 1.0.5

✓ Don’t waste your timeGame is completely catered to veteran players. you can spend all your resources you put hours into grinding for towards summons only to receive 10 rookies and a champion that all can’t digivolve past ultimate. if you are a somewhat newer player and you’re trying to get items required to digivolve then plan on playing the game for weeks to months before you expect to do so because the only way to get materials for digivolving is by placing high enough in rankings that are completely domininated by people who have played this game religiously for months to years. game is an absolute joke compared to Links. what’s the saying? 1 step forward and 2 steps back. game as a whole was designed to take money from players if you want to see any form of progress. bamco doesn’t care about any of our experiences only the $$$ they can try to take out of our pockets.Version: 1.4.0

✓ Pretty goodA solid game with no wildly bad features. I do find it rather strange that you can categorize your group into Friendly, Relaxed, Casual (which are all basically the same exact thing) and Serious, but can’t filter the group search for those specific kinds of groups. I also find the battle system in PvP to be really irritating if the battle lasts more than 12 seconds. In many situations where there are ~2 digimon on either side, the opponent suddenly gets 7 free hits on me before my turn, which passes much too quickly to allow another barrage of attacks my way. I lose in matchups that I shouldn’t because of this. Shock is also extremely overpowered. I am sick of getting seemingly even matchups, then having half my team shocked, forced to wait for the opponent to literally use all their skills before I can attack again. That is ASSUMING I last until my turn..Version: 1.3.1

Dig i rubies are collectible through story or pvp but tbh the games pull rates are rubbish and you can never seem to pull anything good. ✓ Super Buggy. Not worth it.I’ve had tons of issues with the app crashing, and infinite loading screens, and so have many people here too (read the reviews). I tried clearing my cache, and that did nothing to fix the issue. I then deleted and reinstalling the game, and that didn’t fix the issue either. This also deleted my user which I was not aware of. I reached out to support to troubleshoot the crashes, and possibly get my account back. They told me that the crashing issues were with my phone, and they couldn’t find my account, despite the wealth of information that I gave them. I’m ok with losing my account, but how is my phone at fault when tons of people are having the same issue??? It seems like a super lazy explanation from their end and lack of troubleshooting from their end. Lousy customer service..Version: 1.0.5

✓ It’s good but it could be betterIt’s a good game and seems to be so much fun but I keep crashing. I have an iPhone 6 so maybe that’s the issue but I tried everything I can. I have so much storage left and my iOS is over 10.0 but I’m still having issues. I wanna play the game and I probably will continue even with the constant crashing. But for this kind of thing to be happening is disheartening. I never had this kind of issues with the Tokyo ghoul game and it was with the same phone. Sure it was kinda slow at the loading screens but it never crashed. Giving it 2 stars because I’m a long time fan of franchise and it has a great potential but unfortunately it is currently unplayable... loading screen on top of loading screens, have to wait for 2 min just to pick up rewards, getting back to your hub is another 2 min. Just starting the game you need to wait for 2 loading screens... On top of that there are some awful stability issues and it’s just crushes every time any digimon tries to perform an attack. ✓ Another Mobile Game with mindless Grinding and Auto BattlesStory. This game puts together a promising story that may be the greatest highlight. I want to say that if you remember Digimon Tamers, the story closely draws a lot of its inspiration from there, which brings digimon closer to recapturing that spirit that the franchise used to have. AutoPlay Battle. One of the tropes that I have grown to really dislike in mobile games is the AutoBattle function. Some games really abuse this, while for others this kind of makes the purpose of “battling” meaningless. Thankfully many new mobile games are learning from this and shying away. If we’re going by style, I would prefer the turn-based system of the last game: DigimonLinks. If there is one aspect that I dislike the most is the linear Digivolving process. I get it. Gotcha Game=money, great! What sets Digimon apart from other digital pet franchises (not mentioning any names) is the NON-LINEAR evolution process that is determined by HOW YOU RAISE YOUR DIGIMON! Whether your Agumon digivolved to Greymon or Numemon would be determined by how you raised it. The problem is that this game determines that all for you when you DRAW a digimon. Way to take the game AWAY from the players! Also why wouldn’t you have the Mega level CORES determine the Digivolving pattern, instead of having multiple versions of the same Agumon? Some improvements would help this game, but it’s not bad either..Version: 1.1.0

However, like the same fate of Digimon Links, it failed to live up to the hype. Sure, the new features are interesting and the interface is fleshed out, but it doesn’t capture the intrigue of what made Digimon successful. ✓ Buggy, poorly optimized but pretty messGreat graphic are the most only selling point for this game. Do you want a game that has multiple loading screens just to click on a menu option? Do you want a game that crashes every 5 seconds making progress impossible? How about a game that constantly badgers you to join raids that are long over? There might be something worthy of value buried in here, but on every aspect but presentation this game is vastly inferior to its predecessor, Digimon Links. A buggy, infuriating mess that’s so unstable it requires half a minute and two loading screens to access the shop and then it will crash. ✓ Good game but few flawsEver since this game came out I’ve been enjoying it nonstop. But there are a few things that makes this game hardly enjoyable anymore: 1. NO CHAT SYSTEM!! 2. NO USE FOR GUILD So far the only things that keep me playing is the story and the events. The game is basically 1 player mode with no need for co op functions. There is no point for friends if we can only use their rep mon and that’s it. Also top players can solo everything so what is the need for friends? It makes no sense for there not to be a chat system in this game. With a chat system we can be part of a community. The guild has no reason to exist if it’s only for clash battles. I rather have guilds fight each other or some other function for guilds than just clash battles. Friends already can help just as better than a guild can. For guilds to contribute to clash battles or raids have the digimon have way more health than regular clash battles or up the level past 10 on clash battles / raids for guild to better contribute. Along with this is NO FUNCTION TO RECRUIT PLAYERS TO GUILD. I really want to recruit players than having to find a almost full guild to join. Again no point to having a guild if I can’t recruit players to it..Version: 1.4.0

✓ GotchyamonWith the introduction of ulforceveedramon many experienced players with balanced team compositions have had pvp ruined for them. ulforceveedramon jumps the skill queue that was set up using the game’s own rules, and then it eliminates half your team in one powerful move. All those digimon you love and made stronger? They’re dead in the first move of the battle. To add insult to injury, ulforceveedramon soon had its own high ranking pugins that can be bought using pvp currency. Pvp is the only viable source of in game currency as well. Need ulforceveedramon for game currency-> need fame currency to get a CHANCE at ulforceveedramon. Only solution is to shell out real money for ulforceveedramon. HERE’S THE KICKER AND HERE IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY THIS GAME: This digimon can ONLY be gotten through a gambling mechanic with a very low drop chance. There are players who spend $80 on the gotchya mechanic still do not successfully get this digimon. Somehow, despite the very low drop chance, I encounter a team with this digimon 9 times out of 10. The introduction of this digimon was already sketchy, so I don’t trust the whole “random chance encounter thing much. Since I already invested time in this game, I’m at least going to keep going for now. But for new players: don’t play this game. It will just break your heart and take your money. It’s not healthy. If you like digimon, I hear digimon cyber sleuth is good..Version: 1.3.0

✓ Great game, but...The game needs a bit of work. I, along with many others, have experienced problems such as constant crashes (averaging 1 crash every 12 minutes for me, yes I did the math XD) and fairly frequent freezes (especially when loading). I’d also like to point out the 5% chance for a potential “Mega” Digimon, don’t get me wrong, 5% is actually fairly generous in my eyes, but when I roll several 10+1 rolls it would be nice if that +1 was a potential “Mega”. I’m not saying you should just start handing megas out, but perhaps make it more rewarding for the players, after all a customer that is satisfied and happy with the game is much more likely to pay then a customer that is unsatisfied and agitated in the game. I’d also like to ask why there are so many different “Plug-in” gachas, personally seems idiotic when you take the event shops and what not into consideration. Now as for the combat, I’ve actually only got one thing to complain about, and that’s the lack of a target function, the lack of which only makes the game that little bit more grindy, repetitive, tedious, and agitating. Sorry if I sounded like a stuck up critic, but the reason I’m criticizing to begin with is because I see so much untapped potential and I want to see this game be successful, not only to your pockets but also for the gaming community..Version: 1.2.2

✓ No intelligence behind this game.Many issues with this game. 1. No chat system to talk with other players. Huge atep backwards from digimon links. 2. Haphazard objectives for earning mission stars to point some missions are unable to be won with 3 stars (stage 3 missions 8, 9, and 10 require boss to he killed with you special attack but even lvl 1 rookies kill everything before you can charge up special) huge step backwards from digimon links. 3. No control over target selection. Huge step backwards from digimon links. 4. Digivolution in this game terrible. Terrible step backwards from digimon links. Literally one of the worst features of this game. 5. Lack of diversity between digimon of the same species. All brave pumpkinmon have same primary and sub skills. Kinda boring. A step backwards from links which enabled you to change subskill and had in some instances several primary options. 6. Pvp and pve energy separated, makes it less a choice between being a pvper or pver as well as more frequent requirement of active game play which is discriminatory against the large swath of people who cannot log in every 2 hours. Kinda of mixed over digimon links in this regard. Step backwards requiring you to spend energy every 2 hours for pvp, step forward not being tied to specific times of day. 7. ✓ Serious Loading ProblemsI’m enjoying this game so far, but there are some serious problems when it comes to loading battles or transitioning to different screens. Very often, loading bars will pause around half-way through and then refuse to load any further. When the game does load properly it loads very quickly and smoothly, but there are times where it is 100% guaranteed that the next scene will NOT load. This has effectively broken my game, as I cannot begin the first Michi and Salamon battle against a Spiral. I cannot progress any further because of this loading problem. ✓ So much potential, but RNG’d to death.The main PVP in this game is broken. Doesn’t matter how hard you grind, cause opponents at the top ranks will always do more damage and have their status effects go off at a higher percentage. They also specifically attack certain Digimon, and the status effects go off on the ones that haven’t used their skills yet. This leaves you with no skills left to use, while the enemy destroys your team. Even when the opponent gets affected by status effects, they end much faster. In the main story, there are so many things you can’t control, where they put in missions such as “defeat the main boss with a main skill” but your mons will kill them with counters...repeatedly. Leaving you to do the same mission over and over to accomplish this one stupid task. If it wasn’t for the nostalgia, this would be trash..Version: 1.2.2
✓ Very disappointedI have put a lot of hours into the game and I am very disappointed with so many features of this game. More of a cash grab than a good game. In digimon links you could digivolve into anything that digimon was capable of as long as you grinded the mats. In this you have to get the "special" version of said digimon that can digivolve to mega by using the paid currency that you get a pittance of daily if you grind hard. Even if you grind up that currency and spend it if rng isn't on your side then you don't get the digimon you were trying to get. It's 2 week period is over, and you have tons of useless digimon you don't have any real use for. Obvious tactic to make people drop money for the best digimon. Pay2Win. ✓ “It’s not our app, it’s your device”That was the response they gave me when I contacted them regarding the crashing. I filed a ticket and they gave me trouble shooting options. I had already done them but I went ahead and did them all again to say that I did. Didn’t fix it. Their final response was: “Regarding your concern on the crashing of the application, at present, we are unable to detect any problems within the application itself. As such we believe that the reported situation arose due to factors specific to your device, its available RAM and/or network environment. Even if your device is above the requirements required to play the application, the application may not function normally due to factors such as the unique properties of certain devices.” I find it hard to believe that so many people are having the same problem and it not be an issue arising from the app itself. That being said, what I was/am able to play of the game is enjoyable. I really like the collecting part and I like the grinding to get them to digivolve. Clash battles and Dimensional vortexes are pretty decent time passes and for when I went to grind on powering up some Digimon. My problem is the Battle Park where it is almost impossible to win without an Omegamon once you reach S rank. The guy is too overpowered and it isn’t fair for the newer players such as myself who weren’t there when there was an Omegamon limited summon. Only suggestion I can give is nerfing his powers so that he doesn’t automatically one shot every Digimon and take limited damage of only a 1000 in the first rounds..Version: 1.5.0

Sadly, the endgame also includes getting the latest and greatest digimon so you can continue. I’ve spent a good amount of time grinding gems and trying to summon those high tier digimon and the drop rates are just so bad. Or my luck is just super bad. Don’t know. ✓ Another GatchaTwo stars for the awesome digimon and animations. Negative three stars for the grind, the pay to win, and the abusive and unholy battle park that is their PVP. This mode is how you make premium in game currency and consequently how you get a chance to have a chance to obtain the newest and best digimon. PVP started out great but now a days no matter how much you build your mons up and equip them with “plug ins” (stat boosters) and maximize their levels - the game will find a team of equal or stronger level. But that’s not the issue, the issue is when faced against these teams - the opposing AI controlled team will have massive advantages in attacks properly targeting your weakest/support mons meanwhile your attacks get flung randomly all over hell. Because you can not select the targets for your own mon’s attack - it’s as if the AI scripts which attacks need to go where just so the opposing team can land a killing blow when necessary. Illusion of choice is always the strongest deception. After these recent updates I fear how on Earth new players progress under these conditions meanwhile players from the start like me are finding it increasingly difficult. TLDR: STAY AWAY unless you’re ready to devote a quarter to half a day of your time to remaining competitive in this game. I do not recommend playing this game casually or you’ll find yourself casually needing to spend LOTS of money in place of time..Version: 2.0.2
