I was so excited that not only was there a Doctor Who game, but during my Apple Arcade trial. It started off cute (although a bit juvenile) and most of the hidden objects were Easter eggs/jokes from the show, which was great, even if nothing was “hidden” and it was super easy…Until that’s all it was. You have to find hidden objects to get paradox dust to move forward each piece of the story over and over and over - but they are not even just the same few scenes and same objects but half the time the objects are in the same place! Over and over to get energy to move the story along just to do it again, rinse and repeat. I played it for awhile just to see the story but after finding the same objects too many times I got so bored I finally quit. I think I’d done something like 1024 hidden object games (certainly I’d just passed level 1020), and suddenly it changed to ‘Endless mode’ and stopped awarding paradox dust, or whatever it’s called. So I’ve currently got 6, I need 9 to unlock the next event, and I can’t collect any more. Therefore it’s impossible to progress and I feel I’ve just wasted a lot of time. That’s a hell of a bug, especially after such a time investment. Developers, I very much hope you’ll look into this and fix it in a way that allows me to continue. Example, when looking for an item, at times, there are two of the items in the search picture - you click the item and it isn’t the correct one of two. However there is a bug with the Trivia game once you are about to collect the Silence figure. It freezes on the loading screen and the only option is a forced restart. Eventually there always a puzzle path that makes you select the trivia game which then puts you at an impasse and you can’t play anymore. I’ve contacted support on two separate occasions but only get an email back saying that they’ll look into it and my issue is closed. Which feels very dismissive and impersonal. ✓ Could be great but Motion-sickeningI would love this game and find it wonderfully addictive, like other find-the-object games, except it induces motion-sickness headaches! Very disappointed. The biggest culprit seems to be the animated lettering that occurs when you select an object. But I can’t be sure that’s the only problem. ✓ The worst kind of time travelThis game feels like it came from about 15 years ago. Imagine a hide and seek game where the stages take about one minute and then have 5 minutes of dialogue between moments. It's a terrible story with horrifically outdated graphics, settings that have nothing to do with Doctor Who, and terrible art. Every time you pass a stage you have to look at a picture of an enthusiast Jodie Whittaker that looks like she was drawn with her eyes super far apart and facing two different directions. ✓ Can’t Complete GameI enjoyed the game, couldn’t put it down; however, New issue, adventure ‘The Game’ gets stuck on step 5 and cannot progress any further. And ‘Summer Canp’ will not let you begin the adventure at all. (***issue fixed in update***) I’m on Episode 19 3/3 and the game switched to endless mode before the completion of the story line. So I’m stuck trying to get Kara in the Tardis and need 9 dust but only have 6 and can’t earn anymore to finish the game..Jchayne92Version: 2.0.0

✓ Who Cares?The games play is a little dull and seems totally unrelated to the world of Doctor Who. Finding objects seems completely disconnected from the game. ✓ I Really Wanted to Like ThisAs a Dr. Who fan, I truly hate to give this anything less than 5 stars, but it was just too boring for my tastes. I guess I had assumed it would involve a variety of puzzles, like the old school Big Fish puzzle-adventure games. Those were the best. Unfortunately, this is just a straight hidden object game. The different scenes do offer some variety, but it all feels SO repetitive. Find objects, earn “paradox dust”, spend paradox dust to fulfill a task, find more objects, earn more paradox dust, rinse and repeat. The graphics are nice, the story is cool, and the game is functional, so it should get 3 stars for that alone. It’s just not an enjoyable game for me personally.
