Let's Create! Pottery 2 for Negative User Reviews

$3.99 a week$3.99 plus tax a week to play. That is over $234 a year. Crazy..Version: 1.81

So Disappointed in this companyI have been playing for nearly 3 years I also have a subscription but if I don’t have Thousand of “ Friends “ I can not get all the decorations because I don’t have enough likes on a single pot . I have played the first Pottery and loved it . I am a Senior and don’t want to have thousands of followers ,when it takes to much time just to go to the “Friends” I do have . I love the pottery 2 , but it is not as good as it could be . Why not have everybody have whatever pattern is coming out . Why not have a fair way for everyone, the jung and the old.Version: 1.92

This game is rubbishI start to play this game until they make everything work only with vip and you must purchase a subscription to see all tools and the colours. scamers every where . i stop to playing the game.Version: 1.44

Good game, premium membership is whackThis game is infinitely better than the first Let’s Create Pottery in a lot of ways. There’s way more quests, a better public forum, and way more design options (colors, brushes, extras and clays). That being said, the premium feature is pretty seriously flawed. Most of those extra designs and colors require a premium membership to purchase, which is disappointing on its own. I was even more disheartened when I decided not to continue premium after my free trial ended; it turns out, any premium colors and brushes you buy while your membership is active, you can no longer use it your membership expires. This is kind of ridiculous to me. If I bought the designs and colors in question, that should be it; I should be able to continue using those. That being said, I understand they need to make money; it just seems like it could be a little more reasonable. I will say, all of the regular quests use only non-premium designs and basic colors that can be blended, so you can continue those pretty endlessly..Version: 1.54

Stress stressThis isn’t stress relief THIS IS STRESSFUL.Version: 1.84

ViewCouldn’t even get started, it’s only in portrait mode. There are players who can only play in landscape mode but it’s not an option. Shame though, I was looking forward to trying it..Version: 1.92

Quests unplayable to non-membersI really do like this game. It’s very relaxing. While I do think that non members are at a total disadvantage and the membership should be less expensive, my main problem is the quests. I am currently stuck on quest 62 because one of the brushed required to complete the quest is unavailable to non members. I understand that the developers have to make money somehow so charging for a membership is a valid solution(with more reasonable priced obviously ie. 3.99 each month). Where I draw the line is the fact that non-members can’t complete some quests. The quests should not require a player to be a member to complete. It makes me angry that I am unable to progress through the quests unless I pay 3.99 a week. Sometimes even the daily quests are unplayable because they include a vip brush. What I would recommend doing is making all daily quests and gameplay quests playable to non-members and then having an set of vip quests that use vip brushes and are only playable by vips. Until this change is made and I am able to ACTUALLY play through all the quests, I’m unfortunately going to be taking a break from this game..Version: 1.72

Ridiculously long intro video4$ a week seems excessive.Version: 1.97

Enjoyable and then expensiveI really enjoyed this. The feedback loop of making something pretty and it ‘selling’ was a lot of fun. I enjoyed working to get to level 3 but then to learn that if I want more than the basic colours I have to pay - and it’s not cheap! Makes me want to delete the whole thing..Version: 1.97

SucksJust a glorified version of the first one. I’m not paying for a subscription to get access to everything else that I bought in the original one. I don’t have that kind of money. Cool but no thanks, I’m going back to the original one..Version: 1.23

Very relaxing, shame about the cost! This game is addictive, for the most part in a good way. I found myself making pot after pot with different themes and patterns and then seeing if I could sell it for a record price in the virtual store. Then jumping into quest mode to try and make the specific shape pots with the patterns required to level up my profile. It’s a very relaxing and moreish game and the game itself is a 4 or even 5 star game. However I don’t appreciate having to subscribe to a weekly / monthly or yearly subscription in order to unlock the more intricate patterns and colours. This is a very simple mobile game and it’s disappointing that the game developers feel necessary to try and squeeze between £50 and £180 per year in order to unlock the full range of content. I would happily pay £20 for the full unlocked game with no adverts however the subscription system has made me delete the game.Version: 1.81

Ads are badCant close the dang ad and i want the potty game big L.Version: 1.92

FrustratingI love the program, and have been playing since the first pottery app came out, though this pottery app, while more fun with seemingly unending quests, has much more limitations. As many have mentioned in their reviews, the subscription adds up quite quickly. Though what I find most frustrating was that in one of the updates many of the brushes I had already purchased changed to only allow VIP to use them. This was done without warning, and no reimbursement. Heck, even if they made it so I had to pay a one time fee to regain use of those brushes I would be okay. This however is not an option. Furthermore, I have now reached a quest where in order to receive the necessary stars to submit, I need some of the brushes that are no longer available for my use. I love the concept of this app, but am simply disappointed in how it has been handled..Version: 1.50

Fun game but dont like subscriptionsThis game is really fun and I enjoy it a lit but you are pretty limited especially in colour when you aren’t a VIP. If this game had maybe a free version even with slightly less then the current free version and then an option to pay a 1 time fee to unlock the rest of the game then id gladly pay it! However with a subscription base I just can’t justify it. I do in and out of playing games so id have to pay for the week or month subscription every time i was feeling into the game again and that can rack up. Not to mention that I wont always have the spare funds every time I feel like playing. Theres lots to do with the free one and it’s enjoyable for sure so I give huge props to that! Making a game about making pottery fun certainly seems like a difficult task! the ads aren’t too frequent either and never pup up when you’re in the middle of something, usually when you’re going to the next step and I think thats a good place to put them so that they aren’t too annoying. All in all a lovely game but i wish the kept the one time fee the first game had..Version: 1.89

DisappointedInstead of a subscription I believe there should be a one time pay thing to access all of the patterns. I don’t wanna pay monthly for a pottery app... but I would pay one time for all the other features. I’ve been playing this game for a while and the subscription part kills the vibe 😕.Version: 1.85

TDo not play this app because it’s bad game.Version: 1.94

DisappointedI adored the original, and was very excited to see there was a second game released. However, the changes to the game are minimal. Furthermore, the price for full access is outrageous. Do you expect people to pay more for a pottery app than they pay for Netflix?.Version: 1.73

GreedYou have to be delusional to think people are going to pay $100 a year for a pottery game that also freezes ever 5min. It’s sad to see you go the way of EA.Version: 1.29

Payment modelI bought the original game years ago and I am delighted that there is a sequel. However, I am not sure how the other players are completing quests long enough to hit the paywall ( maybe they have more time to play or it’s a recent update), but you get a 7 day free trial before you have to pay $4 a week. Many of the developer comments say it’s $4 a month but on the pop up, it’s definitely $4 a week. There must be miscommunication somewhere..Version: 1.92

8 Dollars a WEEK?I thought this game was a blessing a realistic pottery game with a few ads but then I got to level three within a day of downloading the game and found if I wanted to paint my pots with pastels or other INTRESTING colours I would have to pay 8 DOLLARS EVERY WEEK, maybe 8 dollars a MONTH I could deal with but a WEEK? Congratulations Devs you made a good gaming experience for me for a DAY..Version: 1.81

Unplayable after a certain pointI, like many others, enjoys the game at first. It was relaxing. However, as the game continued, there were more flaws that I noticed. For example, extremely difficult to level up to get more patterns. One of the achievements is getting 100 likes on a single pot. That gives only 10 xp, which is ridiculous. And then there are the quests. The current daily quest and the normal quest both require vip patterns. While the daily quest can be reset and it’ll be different tomorrow, that’s not an excuse to alienate the people who don’t can’t/don’t want to pay. Not to mention that I saw a review from a YEAR ago on the same level I’m stuck on (62) being frustrated that they were unable to continue doing quests without paying for the vip membership. You responded. All you said was “Yeah that happens sometimes.” You didn’t do a single thing about it! Why should the average player be forced to pay for a membership just to continue with normal quest??? It’s unfair for us to deal with this kind of service just fo you guys to get just a tad more money..Version: 1.89

Graphics are great, but game is now broken. This game, by being moved to a subscription format, is now broken. I cannot complete requests because either I am not using the right colour, or there's a pattern I can't unlock. The old game had one-time payments to unlock more content. This game hides needed content by *exorbitant* subscription prices. 100USD a year. 8 bucks a week. 20 dollars a month. That is more than I pay for an entire suite of Adobe apps, for instance. It breaks my heart to give this review because I have spent hours and hours on the original game. I don't mind paying money to support the developer, but this price and the broken functionality kills the game for me..Version: 1.75

This game one does a disservice to the first oneI had the first version of this game and absolutely loved it. I have been playing it ever since it came out. This version is not as good. They are both so relaxing and make a little world that your immersed in but the first one is better at that. They are well made games except this version couldn’t live up to the first one. In the first one when your buying paints you can still see your pottery table and when your selling your pottery it feels real. In the second one everything is with a white background which feels less real and looks cheaper. The entire second game feels cheaper. The second game was supposed to be more realistic but instead it’s a huge downgrade from the first one, please change this creators!!.Version: 1.21

Paywall… 🙄😒This game is only worth it if you are willing to pay for a subscription, otherwise, expect to progress until level six, after which most of the design elements, colour palettes, and decorative accoutrements become imprisoned behind the aforementioned paywall. For me personally, gameplay became insipid after this level, limited as I was to primary colours, the most basic clay types, less than half of the available design elements (a generous estimate, I consider), and practically none of the decorative accoutrements (this time not an exaggeration). Moreover, further advancement becomes practically impossible beyond level six, as the ceramic pieces you’re able to create remain rudimentary and unsophisticated with the limited selection at hand (therefore selling for less); it even becomes impossible to fulfill certain challenges, requiring as they do design elements locked firmly behind the paywall. I’ve yet to encounter a more rapacious and gouging game than this: a tremendously disappointing and disillusioning game..Version: 1.92

Good game but subscription = -3 starsThis game is very fun. The auction thing is a bit broken since they prefer pot size to how decorated it is. I love the social media feel and how you can follow and display your things. Idk if this exists bc I just started playing, but add maybe spouts and legs as a decoration, and maybe add a glass sea through clay. Subscription is very expensive, and basically lets you have loads of colours, which I’m really surprised I need to pay 50 pounds per year just to get a nice shade of pink. I understand that the game company requires funding, but this is crazy. And all the famous artists have the premium. It’s a pay for fame kind of thing. Please make it not a subscription but a one time purchase. Maybe allow all things to be unlocked, but it takes a while using xp? It”s not fair having your art run over by people who can afford to pay..Version: 1.94

On the surface this looks like a good app.I downloaded this app thinking I was downloading an app that as they claim would be a relaxing way to creatively design pottery on my iPad. As someone who throws on a wheel I thought it would be a great way to work out some of my designs. I quickly deleted the app when I discovered not only does this app collect data usage, but there is a social networking aspect that rates your pottery online. Sorry but I’m not looking for instant gratification. Also, the only way to use the app is with an Internet connection. I was hoping to use this when traveling. It is not as it claims to be a relaxing app but more of a controlling social networking looking for approval app. Not what I was looking for..Version: 1.37

Very disappointingFun at the beginning but later on only if you buy vip, otherwise: 1. Up to quest 64, most quests require vip patters. Since I don’t have them I got stuck in one. It did not reset for 3 days. 2. Same with daily challenges, I can do maybe 10% of them 3. After level 6 it’s a nightmare to level up. Since we only get two more patters on this level, it gets very boring. There’s nothing else to do. In short, this game excludes people who don’t want to spend money. The possibilities for free are ok at the beginning but extremely limited after level 5. Suggestions: It’s ok to want to earn money with an application but there other ways, like in other games, to do that, like with adds. For the quests/challenges, for example, it should be possible to access the vip content temporarily to be able to finish them..Version: 1.85

ExpensiveIf you’re not VIP and paying for the app you are going to have a hard time completing the quest on the free version. You get like maybe 5 colors in the free version, and like 20ish patterns. But beyond that everything else you have to pay for the subscription which is wildly overpriced. The game should honestly be a one time purchase just like the first pottery game. I was excited to see there was a pottery 2 but disappointed to see it’s just another overpriced pay to play game like every other app. The devs commented on this about it being $4 a month for the subscription when the app says it’s $8.99 a month… so just another unfortunate thing, they don’t even know how much their own app cost.Version: 1.87

C’mon, really?!Like everyone else who has written a review, this is not about gameplay. Do I think that painting should be more accurate? Yeah. Do I think that some of the quests are ridiculously challenging and that there should be a permanent “help” button to alleviate frustration? Yeah, in fact I’m stuck on one now because I can’t figure out what the friggin pattern is for that eccentric flower pot. But all of that I can put aside because all in all it’s just a fun, artistic, relaxing game. My main complaint is the subscription model. $99 a year? There are MMOs that don’t cost that much. I’ve bought console games that don’t cost as much. And for what? More paint colors and a few more stencils? I understand that y’all need to pay your employees but it’s a ridiculous ask. If you made this game paid and asked for an initial payment of $4.99 or even $9.99 I’d be more willing. If you made it possible to purchase stencils and colors individually by being able to purchase all Chinese or all Aztec related features for a price I’d be more willing. If you made the subscription $1.99 a month I’d be more willing. But to charge more than most streaming services? I think it’s ridiculous. And while I kindly await my copy and paste response of “we do not ask for you to purchase a subscription, you can play the free version” may I just say - the customer isn’t always right, but this is the time to listen to us..Version: 1.36

Cannot change my profile pickI love the game and without thinking logged in via my Facebook. My profile pick is used and I’m getting comments regarding my profile pic and loads of add requests on Facebook. Poor security. You should be able to change the pic. Even if it’s just to a set of standardised pics. Disappointed in the security and lack of ability to protect myself..Version: 1.94

DisappointedI love the game however I am no longer going to play. Your subscription of $24.99 a month is very expensive and unreasonable. And at this price I am no longer able to complete the quests, my favourite part of the game..Version: 1.28

Frusterating. It’s a lot of fun until you get to around level 4 then you can’t do the quests without buying the premium because you need access to certain designs and colours. And I’m absolutely not paying that absurd price for a phone game..Version: 1.96

FreezingMaybe it’s just me or my phone, but after every challenge the game would just straight up freeze and I’d have to relog. Deleted after about 10 minutes, kinda disappointing ngl..Version: 1.29

Great game ruined by greedy, unhelpful developer with poor customer supportThe game itself is is great - fun, relaxing, beautiful to look at, social aspect if you want it too. However the pricing is ridiculous and support from Infinite Dreams is atrocious. I bit the bullet and bought premium only to find that the price had doubled from £49 to £98 for a year - which is the only cost effective option. So I was charged the higher price. Now the price has dropped back to £49. On contacting Infinite Dreams they said - (after 3 days which pushes me past the 60 day refund window with Apple - ) they don't deal with that, go to Apple support. Apple tell me to go to the developer. Back and forth I'm sent. Probably the best mobile game I have ever found ruined by greedy, unhelpful developer..Version: 1.55

😡🤬 😡🤬 NOT HAPPY🤬😡🤬😡 I just updated your app on my phone & I can no longer use Prints paints etc that I bought prior to the update!!!!.Version: 1.47

Great and yet…You can’t complete quests without the full subscription because you can’t get 4* on patterns. 🤷‍♀️ Leveling up becomes impossible after a point without paying money. I could cope with limited colors—I can put in the work to mimic the pretty USD colors—but the patterns make it frustrating as heck. If it were a one-time payment, I would say it was worth it. But a freaking subscription? At THOSE prices? Yes, paying artists is important, but what if *we* could design patterns with the caveat that you could use them or something? Just frustrating. Also… One of the challenges was weird as heck. It prompted a particular culture, but when I actually googled that culture, it turned out they have no history/tradition of pottery art… How am I supposed to make pottery inspired by that? @_@ To get 5*, either: 1. Change quests to be doable for free 2. Allow us to make our own patterns to pass quests with enough work 3. Change the level up requirements 4. Introduce a one-time purchase option that gets you everything. It doesn’t sound like education does this….Version: 1.94

Scamy priceRidiculous price, it should be free to play, with the option to pay to unluck stuff faster. And the gameplay is super boring. They are obviously counting on you uninstalling the app and keep paying an outrageous price / week..Version: 1.92

Crashing? It was really good and I only experienced few freezes and crashes. But now, I can’t even open the app....Version: 1.40

Extortionate freemium pricing ruins pleasure of great creative funI love this game, however I was dismayed to see the price of £100 a year subscription for a game, far pricier than recent class AAA console games. However I decided to just enjoy the limited free content. I was then disgusted to discover upon reaching level 4 that my hard won extras I had gained from time and effort were locked out unless I paid the subscription! I do not feel the developers are doing themselves any favours treating players this way. I could pay the subscription, and I love the game, but I won’t as I feel this pricing strategy is extortionate and manipulative. A shame..Version: 1.44

Half of the stuff i want to use is behind a pay wallIt’s a very relaxing game, cures boredom very easily but the only thing i really can’t get over is that most of the stuff i want to get is behind a subscription for £7.99 a week. I find quite a lot for a game about making vases, bowls and mugs. If they just make it cheaper or put only luxurious stuff behind a pay wall it would be better but besides that it’s a good game!.Version: 1.94

A subscription model? Really?I’m not particularly mad, just genuinely disappointed. Games do not belong on subscription purchase/payment models. I played the first edition of this game nearly a decade ago and recommend it to countless friends. The decision to move to a monthly fee for this new release strikes me as a deeply disheartening instance of corporate greed. With an appropriate single charge purchase price upfront, I cannot see how this game couldn’t be profitable. The thousands of new games and apps marketing themselves as ongoing services rather than discrete products is bleeding consumers dry. I understand I’ll likely receive a reply (if any) to the effect of “we’re sorry you aren’t satisfied with our game/application. We would like to reach out to you/offer to put you in touch with a member of our product satisfaction department if you have a moment. Thank you for your input and review.” I’m really getting tired of it. I just wish more consideration went into the ethics of pricing models, and toll on customers’ wallets..Version: 1.94

I really wanted to play thisI was looking forward to playing this until I opened the app. Unlike 90% of the population I play on a tablet for all my games & portrait mode loses my attention in less than 5 secs. Please allow landscape play..Version: 1.21

Impossible to complete questsHello developers. I love this game. It is incredibly calming and I can just numb my mind and copy pots! But recently as I have been reaching the higher quest levels, they appear to be impossible to complete because they require VIP brushes to be completed. The best I can get is 3 stars for the patterns. I have tried every free pattern available but none of them fit. I know that many of your players are also having this issue. Please fix this. I really enjoy this game and the quests are the best part. I would hate to be unable to progress the game due to a pay to win wall..Version: 1.43

Please allow more colors for non VIP usersI am a non VIP user, and I can understand how certain patterns cost money, but it’s unfair how I just reached level 4 after trying to do loads of quests to have EVERY SINGLE COLOR LOCKED!!! Please! Let non VIP users have at least a few options from every group, or a FEW more colors! You are letting us use some patterns from other groups, why not colors?!?! This thing is just “you either PAY to get more features unlocked and more levels or you’re stuck making the same pots” please rethink this! It is unfair!.Version: 1.85

Can’t afford pay to playLoved the original game and bought it Like this one but just can not afford pay to play With the world as it is and my work stopping altogether I wish you would reconsider your pricing and allow a 1 time payment option like before (If you add this I will change my review) Also please add landscape mode for playing.Version: 1.29

FlopLike many others I loved the first one. Something randomly reminded me of this game and I came to download it again, and decided to try this second version. I’m already back on the old app. Which is a bit annoying after using this one, but you can’t do anything w the limited colors and patterns here. I can’t believe how expensive it is. I thought I would pay for a week and buy all the patterns and stop paying, but you can’t even do that. I find the social aspect annoying as well, it’s fine but to need a certain amount of likes and followers to level up, to get more content, that is already sparse, is so ridiculous. Maybe they’ll try again and update this app..Version: 1.57

Requiring completion of quests to unlock items is annoyingThe first game was so much better since you can just save up and easily buy whatever patterns you want. it was also easier to get coins quickly and the freedom made the game a lot more relaxing. hate that achievements are required to unlock items for purchase. it is forcing people to play the game a certain way when its supposed to be a stress-free and creative way to pass some time.Version: 1.92

I wish you could play offlineThe game is good but I wanna be able to play offline!.Version: 1.94

Needs new updatesNeeds more designs more quests and more and different challenges. After a while it feels like the same thing over and over again even after having all of the designs available..Version: 1.94

Not like the old app: not paying VIP to complete questsI played the first Let’s Create Pottery years ago, and I would be on that app for hours at a time. I hoped that this would be like the old game. Alas, the VIP limits free-to-play options vastly. At the very least give us quests that don’t require the VIP patterns to get the pot acceptable to send off. I’m somewhat stuck on quests and the completionist in me is itching. I don’t have the funds right now to afford VIP. I would be happy with one-time purchase options, even if there is still a VIP system with that. If you like the old app (especially the paid version), stick with that. If you want a few pretty gems and you’re okay to play with getting vastly less, this app doesn’t hurt for free. If you want to throw money at it, hey it’s your money but right now, I think it’s not enough bang for your buck. I’m going to keep it on my device just because I think it has potential. Three stars but I might change my mind if there is an update that makes this app more casual-friendly..Version: 1.46

BuggyLooks fun and I was excited to play but whenever I try to claim my reward the game freezes hmmm shame.Version: 1.35

Only good for monthly subscriptionI enjoyed this game a lot for quite sometime and after my partner passed I stopped my gaming subscriptions for obvious reasons. I came back to play and I literally can’t create a single new piece unless I continue to pay monthly. NOT FTP.Version: 1.96

Really enjoyable but stagnates if you are F2PThere is a lot you can do in this app without having to pay but once you hit a certain point (around level 5 for me) you start to get stuck if you don’t want to subscribe. The daily quests start to require patterns you can only access if you upgrade to premium which is a bit disappointing. I would say that the premium is probably worth the price though I imagine it will be a limiting factor for many..Version: 1.49

Really bummed outI really loved this game but then I hit a quest that required a vip subscription to continue, basically forcing you to pay if you want complete more quests. This really sucks since I loved the game so much so far. I ended up deleting the app cuz I was so frustrated..Version: 1.92

I’ll stick to the first game, thanks! After reading a few reviews, I figured I’d try this game out and just be satisfied with the free version. I have greatly enjoyed the first game version of Pottery which I bought the premium version of, and was looking forward to enjoying a more enhanced experience for a game I find relaxing. Forget it! There isn’t any free version of Pottery 2, the first thing you get asked is to sign up for a subscription service of four dollars a month, after a week long free trial. Excuse me, what?? I’m extremely saddened by their paywall block, because I was more than happy to make purchases of brushes, fancy patterns or colors, and etc like I did in the first game to support the devs - but to be required to pay for this game every month just for the privilege to even play it? I am assuming this means the first game won’t be getting any more attention in updates or bug fixes now that they have something to make much more money off of. I’m not a fan of games you could invest a lot of your time and money into, only to have it all removed because you can no longer afford even a small subscription cost in a hard financial time. This stress relief game would then only ADD to someone’s stress. Forget it. If it was a one time purchase, sure. I’ll stick to the buggy first version of Pottery..Version: 1.83

Wow!I mean, these prices are extortionate. I get that you have developed a game but I can out right now and get triple A game for less than you charge. It’s frankly hilarious that you think you can get away with it. So, basically I can get Netflix for the same price as your monthly subscription fee. Did you do any market research on theses prices or do developers just think they can charge what they want. Jesus! And now of all times. You think people have got money to burn. Don’t download this game, it’s terrible, there are ads every minute, it crashes all the times, it looks shoddy and it’s not even that good when you strip it back to its underlying game. I can’t help but find this funny, it must be a joke. I think I’ll make this game and undercut you!.Version: 1.28

It’s a simulation!!I love this game but am I going to pay to make pottery that is only virtual? NO! Not at £100 a year, I can’t imagine that it takes so much money to produce less than thumbnail sized patterns. With the 1000s of subscribers you already have, how do you justify such extortionate prices and then also remove the purchased items once the subscription ends. If I aid for it how can you take it back?.Version: 1.84

Soooo expensive to playBrilliant idea however the price you expect players to pay for this full game experience is far out of reach would be happy to pay for a game but at such a high price I refuse to pay £20 a month for it not option to purchase the game only subscription payments and ads so developers are making money from both players and advertising 😡I’ve actually stopped playing this game due to the fact I will not pay the price they expect destroyed as I paid for the pottery 1 full game as reasonably priced disgracefully the over priced greed for these game developers.Version: 1.46

RuinedThe original title had so much class, it was actually a fun story! The thing you always hoped for was a little more flexibility and control. Those are exactly what this new version should have given us, and maybe it does, but due to the storyline being non existent and because of the overly AGGRESSIVE monetization, I doubt I will ever find out! A version of this app has lived on iPhones and iPads in our house for many many years and my son has grown up loving it. Too bad that when I look into how they might have updated it, I find this mess. None of the charm and 1000% more advertisements and in your face attempts to get you to sign up for a subscription! I mean who is buying these subscriptions? Yikes!.Version: 1.89

PAYY TO PLAYYYYYYY😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡U gotta be joking. Lcp1 was great one time payment, but subscription based payment.. YUCK YUCK YUCK very disssapointing and big step down in satisfaction🤢😡!!!!.Version: 1.59

Bullsh*t ZenThis is a pretty app that functions well. But I quickly realized it’s just more corporate greed aimed at feeding the human impulse for attainment. You can only build a very small amount of pottery designs and colours and are forced to compete in challenges in order to move up and attain rewards. Also, the pottery you create is automatically sold? Where? To whom? Deleted the app after 10 minutes. This wasn’t relaxing..Version: 1.95

Excuse me?!?!Y’know, I was really enjoying this game, despite the nonsense coming from the developers, but this last update is ridiculous. First off, the developers claim that they don’t “force” anyone to pay to play the game and that there’s plenty of features available when playing for free. Despite saying this, there were still multiple quests that were impossible to complete without paying for the game. After reaching out to the developers about my concerns, I received a very generic and cryptically-worded response that ignored all of my questions and basically told me that I can still do a lot with the game while playing for free, which is true if you want to use limited colours, textures and patterns in the “create your own custom pots from scratch” area, but not the quests. The patterns, colours and textures were already limited, but in this last update they’ve taken away A LOT of these previously-free items and added them to the list of “vip member access only” items. And you’re going to tell me that you’re NOT forcing people to pay to play? On top of that, these developers think that an app used to make digital pottery warrants a SUBSCRIPTION!!!!! $6 per week, $15 per month, or, get this... $100 PER YEAR! Are you kidding me?! Where do you get off thinking that a game, and especially one like this has any business asking people to dish out ongoing money in a subscription, in addition to all of the ads that you include during gameplay? I was already suspicious of this game and the motives of the developers, but this confirms it. They’re money-hungry fiends and scammers. It’s too bad. This could have been a really great game if it weren’t for the selfish, greedy developers. I’ll be deleting this app now that I can’t make any progress at all without paying, and you can forget about that ever happening..Version: 1.44

It’s okay but…Oh my gosh you have to pay premium for practically all the colours and most of them the designs! Thank you but I’d rather stick with the older version of this game.Version: 1.89

Dreadfully disappointedA long term aficionado of the original game, I’d really been looking forward to this. Frankly, it’s pretty awful. There’s a very limited choice of designs initially but, to be fair, they do expand the further one progresses. Their quality is poor (you don’t get the ‘beaten gold’ effect on the Greek as you did in the first version) and the depth lacks subtlety. The decorations look like barnacles and the textures all lack depth. The colours are restricted to the basic 5 and one ‘vivid’. This brings me on to my greatest bugbear. The wretched thing consistently crashes with every colour fill. Every time. And it’s not due to the constant ads. And I really do have the required ‘persistent internet connection’. Now. At this early stage, £5.99 a week after a 7 day free trial sounds pretty extortionate to me. (I flinched at that, so I tried not to look at the monthly fee, nor the annual fee...) To cut to the chase. I think that this really is at a fairly embryonic stage and should be properly rolled out. It’s too raw, clumsy and, frankly too greedily expensive. I’m desperately sorry to write so negatively, but I am very, very disappointed..Version: 1.28

Sad to rate thisI really loved the first pottery game and I even bought the upgraded version. But this.... this is disappointing. Not only to find out how limited the free version is, but how expensive and over priced the subscription is. If it was a reasonable price for the app or a subscription I would gladly pay it because this is a fun relaxing game, but no developers, it is not worth $100 a year and all their responses to the reviews on here are insulting. I would have kept my mouth shut about it but I just updated and a lot of the features I already earned I can no longer use in the free version. Some of my favorite and most used stencils are now are only for subscription, and expensive clay it took a while to save up and buy I can no longer use. Luckily they left the handful of paint options alone, and I would have been playing a lot more in the first place if there were some decent paint options for the free version. I just don’t understand how making this so expensive so only a select few can afford it makes more money than making this a decent price many people would be will to pay for. Please don’t respond to this with more of the same “no it’s not too expensive” excuses, I’ve already read them all and none of them justify it..Version: 1.49

Good but could be betterI loved the first pottery game and I love this one but I dislike the subscription based service. I really want to use the premium based patterns but I can afford $99 a year. I thought of a cool idea. You could hold challenges (ex: Aztecs, Simple, color schemes, etc) and the top 3 most liked vases receive a specific currency used for premium items. You could also make this currency available for purchase. I don’t know if this is a good idea but I think $99 a year is a lot and I really like some of the premium patterns and items. Update: I’ve been playing for a couple of days and I really wish the help button would be a permanent fix or at least come sooner. I could figure out how to get this vase to 4 stars and I waited and waited until it finally popped up..Version: 1.48

Returning Player, Horrified at What I’m SeeingSo I’ve played this game for years on and off. It’s always been a game I’d redownload for a few months whenever I wanted a good relaxing app. When I first got this game all those years ago, this was the paid premium version of a free app. It was something like three dollars, which was entirely reasonable for the amount of content provided. This most recent time I downloaded the app was because I found myself disillusioned with how ad-ridden, freemium, and subscription-based all my other favorite games had become. Imagine my horror when I find my favorite pottery app has fallen to the same fate. Now, it’s pointlessly a social media site - which is the opposite of relaxing - the majority of the content is now locked behind a prohibitively expensive subscription service, and all of the charm of the old game, like getting quests through fun “emails” and the old auction house, have been streamlined into something utterly boring. This game has turned into something beyond disappointing. Utterly shameful..Version: 1.92

Alittle let downWas super stoked to see LCP2 then to find out, if you want to get the good items you need to sub Instead of unlocking by leveling up. Yeah you can earn some things but idk just feels like it’s following the other apps of pay to play.Version: 1.42

Fun gain but seem to have bugsLove the creativity and artistic expression, however I published 10+ pots even was getting some likes and all of sudden all my pots disappeared except the ones in my display room, is this a known issue?.Version: 1.29

Oof. I’m torn. This is a beautifully made, fantastically crafted app, and even at the free level you get a ton of options. Even the ads aren't too invasive. Many other commenters have said; the “VIP” subscription might be the goofiest most overpriced thing I’ve ever seen. I would NEVER pay for it as much as I love messing with this app! A majority of the colors are locked behind the paywall, and if you grinded during your free trial and bought things under VIP, you can’t access them when the trial ends. Ive worked in ads and game design for ios, and I gotta say, that *and* the pottery limit hasnt even made me consider buying VIP. It just makes me want to stop using the app at all. Please retool for a better system that the insane (8$ a WEEK?!) subscription! I’m someone who really really thinks this is a developer with huge promise and skill, but that alone stinks. 🥺 I genuinely would love to rate 5 stars..Version: 1.47

Way too expensiveDear developers, Please stop subscription baiting. 9.5$/week is an irrational amount to charge for a mediocre app. Just letting you know that I am reporting you to the Australian Federal police for scam..Version: 1.09

Tech supportThere is some very annoying music playing when I open this app. Even with my sound turned off, it continues to play. I will change my rating when this is resolved..Version: 1.94

Daily quest, Level 62For all my non VIPs on this app, yes the daily level 62 is unbeatable for us. You need a VIP brush in order to complete it, which is unfortunate. I’ve played this game off and on since i was in middle school and I’m now 21 years old, so it’s been awhile. I really do like the relaxing game itself, but i do wish at LEAST the daily challenges where for available for us non VIPs. I would love to see all the possibilities with the patterns i have available to me, cause i can’t always make them up on my own without being shown them first. But i say, and I’m sure a lot of people using this app would agree; that daily levels should be for everyone! Otherwise it’s hard to continue WANTING to play this app. And I’m sure you want people to play it. I’m not gonna pay 100$ for some virtual clay, when i could quite literally buy a cheep pottery wheel for that much to do in real life. The prices are the craziest thing if seen on any app to be brutally honest. But that’s all i have for this, i hope the people struggling on level 62 find this and find the answer there looking for. It’s in bearable for non VIPs, I’m sorry :(.Version: 1.94

I want to love the game, but...I feel like I am stuck in endless grind to get to the next level. How can the quests to move up go from Get $1000 on a pot to $2000 straight to $5000!?! Get 10,000 likes. Now get 50,000!?! I was stuck on level 7 for weeks, now I'm stuck in level 8. I am getting bored trying to get to the next level. It would be loads better to make the levels marginally more attainable even if you get less unlocked when you get there. I don't know if it's worth it anymore to stick around to work to the next level. To top it off now the game keeps crashing on me especially doing the challenge pots..Version: 1.77

Do you accept kidneys?Brilliant app. Welcoming and friendly users. Can’t quite understand why it costs £3.49 per WEEK? £3.49 per MONTH is much more reasonable, considering how long it takes to level up, before new clays, colours, patterns, extras etc. are available. Disappointed in the apparent greed..Version: 1.84

RidiculousI can understand a one time fee to play this game but $4 + tax per week for a pottery game is just silly..Version: 1.92

Too expensiveUnless you can afford a subscription, then don’t bother..Version: 1.71

Latest Update: disappointedThe latest update has just lost me as a user. Requires iOS13 and now doesn’t work on my iPad Mini with iOS 12.... Would be good to continue using without updating but will now not load as it asks to update. Disappointed......Version: 1.37

You have to pay for everythingIf you’re not willing to be a VIP or willing to pay extra money, you lose all creativity basically in the app it’s in definitely not how are used to be you don’t get to pick colours you don’t get to pick anything you got a few of the primary colours but if you want anything else do you have to pay for it.Version: 1.94

NOT worth the priceBuy the other highly rated pottery game in the Apple app store, its better. $4 a week for a mobile game is laughably stupid..Version: 1.94

First is better for priceI fought with myself about buying the (inappropriately expensive) subscription because I loved the first game so much. Reading the developers’ responses to people complaining about the subscription prices is disheartening. They keep responding that there is a lot of free content and that you can play the game just fine without paying by watching ads. They don’t address the fact that it is a commercial (sometimes as long as 2 minutes) before being able to use a particular brush, pattern, etc. If it was one ad per, say, 5 uses, that might be okay. If the subscription was lower it’d be okay. But this developer has fallen into the inky waters of greed. Yeah, I buckled and got a subscription, but I’m not happy about it and I’m truly sorry for those who want one but can’t afford it. This is meant to be a calming, creative game but it’s absolutely tainted with ‘pay to play’ mud..Version: 1.24

WAS a great game.Unfortunately ruined with 30 second ads every few seconds.. with update = instant delete. Was a great game, however time to move on from this greed :).Version: 1.95

No new contentI’ve recently subscribed for a second year. I love this game. It’s creative and the community of players is friendly. However, apart from a little bit of new content each month, that disappears when a new month arrives so you cannot accumulate it, there is no new content to purchase with in-game currency that you earn (no new clay types, no new patterns or colours,or decorative items. This means that you have to level up to get new content and with each level are fewer and fewer new content options (just one at level 10). After level 10 I’m told there is absolutely nothing. The support has been telling me for a year that new and exciting content is on its way soon. I do not believe them any more. My sense is that they fob you off with answers and actually nothing will change. Players who have played for longer than me tell me that there has been no new content for years. This is effectively mis-selling, promising something and charging for it but it never arrives. Players submit a blank undecorated pot in their galleries as a silent protest about it. Developers are grasping and greedy and I’m very unhappy about it as it spoils an otherwise good experience..Version: 1.95

“Free” to PlayIf you’re just looking for a week of gameplay, this game would be fine. But anything after that is excessively paywalled- unskippable quests required for levelling up that can’t be completed without paying. There are the daily quests, but good luck finding any that you can complete without (you guessed it) paying for the privilege. With the choice between an excessively high subscription fee that the game doesn’t deserve or a complete standstill in progress, this game isn’t worth playing in its current state..Version: 1.89

Fix bugs pleaseAbsolutely love this game, been playing since let's create. However please fix the bugs - everytime I claim my reward for a quest, the app stops.Version: 1.31

A good game, till Level 5I’ve enjoyed playing, but hit a point where its become very difficult to progress. I don’t want to grind to level up in a game like this, especially if I’m paying for the experience, as it’ll just take the joy out of it. Unfortunately I’ll be looking to see what else is out there and I’m unlikely to want to pay the subscription.Version: 1.96

Latest update makes all but VIP uselessAbout 50 of the patterns / clays that I’d previously bought using the in-app coins are now behind the VIP paywall. Today’s Daily Quest, and my current Quest (#82) are both unachievable without these patterns, so the game’s hit a dead end for me. I had to reinstall in order to leave this review (as for some reason it didn’t think I had the app) and whilst my level and patterns have restored, my coins haven’t. Looks like I’m out then on two counts, which is a real shame as the game had good promise....Version: 1.44

$8aud a week? LmaoHmm tough call, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Apple TV with enough change left for a coffee, or a game where you touch a screen to pretend to push a tube of clay to make it a different shape? Hey, Rings of Power just dropped a new episode byyeee..Version: 1.92

Very Fun Pottery AppI really enjoy this app, and find making pottery very relaxing. It is expensive, but I find it worth it. My concern is there have been NO NEW PATTERNS, COLORS or CLAY since I joined two years ago. “AR” was updated, but I can’t even tell what that is. Please, DEVELOPERS, add glitter colors, new PATTERNS, the color white, and have the monthly patterns available year long. Come up with new weekly and monthly challenges, rotate your “Editors Choice” potters, and provide us with new “Extra’s.” Rebuild the excitement in all of us! Thanks for listening and for your consideration. The faithful are getting restless..Version: 1.92

Fun but not worth the costI enjoyed this app but like other commenters I do not think it is worth the cost for what it is..Version: 1.87

Played all night, progress goneSaw there was a new version to this app I used to love playing, had a lot of fun creating some pottery for a few hours. Signed in with apple, got to level 4, after closing the app and reopening a few hours later, something went wrong and I was signed out. Even after signing back in, it didn't put me back on my original profile. Then uninstalling/reinstalling to try and prompt it to sign back in didn't work either, it was even more wiped fresh! Guess I'm not even going to bother with this subscription. It's pretty expensive anyway, and now I find no value in it, especially since I can still play the old version with most of the same features for free if I wanted to. Disappointed, was hoping to enjoy this much more but probably won't even bother coming back to it after this data loss.Version: 1.63

Quests can’t be done without subscription nowOne of the more recent updates locked many patterns behind the subscription so many quest pots can no longer be finished without paying which is greatly disappointing because I the game is great and really enjoyed it before that lockout, now I barely have anything to do on there on a daily basis..Version: 1.44

Greed took designs away I earnedI loved this game to help me with stress and anxiety with being a carer. I played and earned in game coins to earn all the patterns I could without using real money. I was proud to have all of the patterns at the time. With covid and busy caring for someone, I didn’t get on the game for a couple months. When I did, I found that a lot of great patterns it took ages for me to earn had been put onto the pay monthly scheme. So I can’t use them at all. So cross with this!! Another game where people only care about the money than the experience that the people have. Such a shame, another great game ruined!!.Version: 1.72

Unfair to free playersThis game does not work well if you don’t want to pay for the subscription. You need to buy the subscription if you want access the VIP patterns which is totally understandable. However, for aspects of the game like the quests you should make the accessible to all. I am currently at quest 62 which requires a VIP pattern. As I have not bought the subscription I cannot progress in the game. You should introduce some features for those of us who would like to play for free. Such as being able to watch ads for temporary access to VIP patterns in order to complete quests. Or the ability to skip quests. I had such high hopes for this game as I’ve had so much fun playing. Now I am just disappointed and the game has become unenjoyable due to the frustrations it has caused. If there are not plans to change these aspects of the game I am going to delete..Version: 1.84

Fun but way too expensiveThe game is enjoyable and a good time passer, but the price for VIP is ridiculous. It’s pretty pathetic that a mobile pottery game is expecting more that what I pay for Netflix a month...Like what??? Not to mention, the year price is $99. I understand that the company needs money to further their game, but $14.99 a month? To make pottery on my phone with more than just 7 colours? Maybe I would actually consider either of those prices if it weren’t a subscription. I’m not putting in $99 for a GAME that I’ll only have for a year. It’s awful how money hungry every video game company has gotten. And seeing this game company hop on the subscription bandwagon too proves how disgusting they’ve gotten. What happened to just being $6.99 for the full game?.Version: 1.29

Fun for a bit but £50 a year for the full game?!I enjoy this game and I find it very therapeutic but after seeing the premium version of the game cost £50 a year as a subscription not even a one of payment is a joke in my opinion. There’s no way I would ever be able to justify paying for this and it just seems silly to even label that as the cost of the game. If you read this could to try and justify the price you’ve put on this game, there’s still no way I’m paying for it but would love to know your thought process and maybe I’ll rate it a bit higher.Version: 1.65

ExpensiveDisappointing that the developers make it almost impossible for non VIP players to participate. Also the fee is very expensive for an app..Version: 1.44

Money-grabSixteen dollars a month? That’s almost two Netflix subscriptions. Awful..Version: 1.82

So much potential. The game was great the first few weeks I played it. Then I decided to try premium and everything went bad. I reached level 84 and made a pot that matched the quest perfectly, but it only gave me two stars. I contacted them and they instructed me how to complete the level and told me what patterns to use, and as I expected, what I originally had was 100% correct. I sent screenshots and everything. However, the game was glitched and would not let me progress. I decided not to continue the premium and asked if they could reset the quest and they told me no. You would think they would acknowledge the fact that my pot was an exact match, but they didnt and told me they were “sorry.” And I couldnt possibly get passed this glitch without premium since the pattern used was a VIP only pattern. I had no choice but to delete the game, which is a complete shame..Version: 1.87

Good, but…On the whole, great fun! Much less mindless than your average game/app, what with the creativity and the community aspect. However, it does seem rather unfair that, past a certain point, the regular quests (from 60-something onwards) start requiring Premium-only content to complete. I don’t mind the “daily challenge” quests dipping into Premium content, but the regular quests, too? It’s a bit much, and blocks off pretty much the only feasible way to progress in terms of XP. Don’t misunderstand— I think it’s great that the subscriptions support the artists responsible for the content in question; it just stops feeling like an option and more like a requirement as you go on. I don’t mind the occasional advert, but I’m not in any position to spend £50 per year on this thing..Version: 1.90

Not to sure what’s happeningDownloaded the app to help out my anxiety, played the game, loved it. Then for some reason when I went to go play it today all my coins had gone and it won’t give me any quests? Really let down. Two days later and it Still won’t give me any quests? Was really enjoying this game to, contemplate to subscribe to it but not if i don’t get any quests?.Version: 1.71

Hideously expensive to subscribe. Stay away!Tranquility? Nope. Calmness? Nope. Stress free? Nope. I can’t believe that you game creators haven’t worked out yet that you’d be making a ‘beep’- load more money if subscription wasn’t required to enjoy this game. Omg. You are ruling yourselves out of the market. Dumb move. Hey review readers…Don’t bother downloading this game! Waaaayyyyyy too expensive because you have to subscribe to get 90% of the content. I spend money on plenty of other games to get extra content but I will never subscribe to this. You game creators have made a huge percentage of the ‘extras’ unreachable so 1 star from me. It would be ZERO if that was possible, but reluctantly I have to give you 1. Big thumbs down..Version: 1.78

Good game, too expensiveI loved the first game, I have been playing it for years! I like the options for accessories for the pots in the second game. I agree with some of the other comments about the subscription being too expensive, though. One of my favorite parts about the original is that there weren’t in app purchases. I understand the need for them and I would probably get a subscription if it were cheaper. I don’t want to drop a hundred dollars on a year long subscription, and the other options are also too much for me to pay. Even if you kept the subscription price, could you open up a few more color options for us? The first version had pink and purple, but now I have to get a subscription to access them. Or maybe make colors cost a dollar individually? Other than the pricing it’s a great game!.Version: 1.24

Levels are dumbI paid the $99 to "get full access" to all of the colors, patterns, and clay colors. I assumed that paying basically ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR AN APP that I would actually get all of the colors and patterns right away. Nope, you still have to earn enough coins to "buy" them in the app. Ok, fine. But then to find out that you have to get all of these stupid points to level up is incredibly frustrating. There really isn't any way to get enough points to level up without having to get likes and followers which is annoying. I just wanted a calming activity to distract me from doomscrollong other social media apps. I don't want to have to worry about how many likes or followers I have. I hate that. I'm only on level 6, and it feels like it's so far off to get to 7. I can't imagine what other hoops I'll have to jump to to get to 8 and 9. I'm going to keep at it, because I paid $99 for it and I want my moneys worth. It just seems misleading to say that buying it gets you access to everything. Please don't force us into the social aspect of this. I just want to calmly make pots without having to worry about whether others like them or not! We nearly made it through this crappy 2020, just give us a break here and make this app truly relaxing and not competitive. Seriously. $99. For an app. That you don't even get access to. Can you tell I'm frustrated?.Version: 1.59

So disappointedThe Developer keeps saying $4/Month on many of the reviews. It’s not!! I was charged $4/week!! I have Xbox and PlayStation games that don’t charge that much for access to years with if DLC and subscriptions. I really enjoy this game, but it’s absolutely insane how expensive it is for access to content. I was willing to pay up to a point, but then losing access to everything premium I already purchased when I decided to cancel is the last straw. Now I can’t even complete quests because the patterns require premium stencils. It’s beautiful and engaging, but too expensive as well as an excessive point system for leveling up - much of which relies on being connected to social media and gaining likes/followers. Not worth it in the end..Version: 1.89

QuestsI have now written quite a few reviews about this issue. It is IMPOSSIBLE to complete some of the quests. I am currently stuck on quest 54, the Buffalo’s milk pot. It is not possible to complete the quest without the 2 patterns needed for it (they are VIP items that used to be available to players for free). I understand that there is a wide variety of patterns and colours to use, but you need to either adjust the availability of patterns and colours or change the quests so people who can’t afford VIP can have some basic gameplay available..Version: 1.48

Too many adsI don’t mind paying to support developers, it’s important that people be paid for their work and I’m fine with that. But the only way to turn off ads is a subscription and the subscription prices are outrageously high. I wouldn’t mind sitting through ads if they didn’t pop up so freaking often. It’s also a bad sign when so many reviews are complaining about the price of subscriptions and the developer response ignores that concern entirely and instead says to contact them with gameplay issues. The problem isn’t gameplay. The problem is how much you feel your time is worth compared with how much people are willing/able to pay..Version: 1.69

Good game...but extortionately expensive to unlock full game.Absolutely love this game, really fun creating pots and very relaxing. But because I'm not made of money I cannot afford to spend £100 a year for the full version!! Please consider people with little money rather than just focusing on the rich, a little equality wouldn't hurt!.Version: 1.40

Most things I worked for are now VIP??I am very disappointed in your awesome app. I worked very hard to get to level 5 and I do not make enough money to pay for an app. Yet your buyable with coins patterns and colors were wonderful and I was able to do quite a bit including the daily quests. If I had gotten a job that would allow me to pay for apps, yours was on the top of my list. However...Last week, I went to do the daily quest and found my favorite Japanese pattern was now marked VIP though I had bought it. I was hoping it was a fluke, but today I found a third of my patterns I had leveled and earned coins to buy them has been turned VIP only, and I can’t complete the daily quest. I suppose there is enough to do a simple vase, but having already bought so many things still in my inventory only to not be able to use them is distressing so I have deleted the app. :( I loved it while it lasted, but that was in my opinion a dirty trick as we had already bought the items..Version: 1.44

Great game! This game gives me so much nostalgia from when I used to play the original version in art class! however, I believe that the subscription is outrageous! I’m sure a lot of us would be willing to pay one time purchases of the different packs (separate one time purchases for color packs pattern packs etc) but regular people like me do not want to buy a reoccurring subscription for items that you already have to pay in game money for anyways! also it should be a lot easier to gain xp (not based on followers/likes etc) this just adds stress to the game! I will still continue to play this game in my downtime more than likely, but will not be buying a subscription as I believe it is way too much money, especially nowadays. Please consider these comments, as I really do love this game, I just believe these features add stress to the game more than they help the game..Version: 1.81

What happened? This game is awesome although the first was definitely better... what happened to the lids, and vases with the holes in the center? Also the VIP subscription is not worth anything. There’s no insensitive to even be a VIP because it just allows more ppl to see your published vases. I also expected this to have more design option than the first did but so far it’s all the same stuff. Yes you added more color options but those were easy enough to make yourself in the previous game. Hopefully you read my comment and add lids again though id love to see those back in the game..Version: 1.48

Climbing new levels and not receiving any new itemsI enjoy playing this game, but as I’ve reached newer levels, I actually have become more anxious and frustrated because I expect to see new patterns, colors, clays or extras (handles, lids or decor) but I get nothing. I’m not a VIP but when I reached levels 4 and 5, I saw new colors I could get. Level 6 gave me some new patterns. I reached level 7 and saw nothing new, so I’ve played a lot to reach level 8— I just got to level 8 today and…..surprise—-NOTHING NEW FOR ME. I see so many people at my level with patterns that don’t seem to be available to me. They aren’t VIP’s either. I get so excited about getting to a new level and having some added elements to play with and showcase…but then I get disappointed and irritated that there’s nothing to show for my accomplishment at reaching a new level. When I look at the patterns in shopping, there’s a handful of new items that read “L6” or “L7”… I think when I reach that level, those are the patterns I’m going to be able to purchase. But when I get to a new level, those patterns are named with a new level number. It’s difficult enough to reach new levels; the goals set in front of you are wildly unrealistic (i.e., getting 50,000 likes)… the developers seem to cater to VIP players, but getting rewarded with new elements should occur at the entry of each new level, regardless of whether you’re a VIP or not..Version: 1.92

Pay to WinThat’s all. Publishers, you should be ashamed of yourselves. For those not in the know, you physically CANNOT progress past Quest 62 without paying for certain decorations. What sort of a barely-concealed quick money-making scheme is this? What sort of game calls itself “free” when the player is barred from completing it by microtransactions? You already put PLENTY of patterns, glazes, colours and other features behind a paywall. That is understandable. But to suddenly without warning put a permanent stop to a user’s ability to progress in one of the game’s two prominent modes is simply inexcusable. At least have the decency to let us experience the BASIC quests till the end. Don’t get me wrong, this was a WONDERFUL game. I spent hours in it, nourishing my creativity and problem solving skills. But I will be deleting it. Best of luck being more considerate to your players next time, publishers. I hope the lack of a permanent loyal user base is worth whatever meagre revenue you gain instead..Version: 1.94

Started well but then tries to get you to subscribeI was really enjoying this game at first but then the quests that you have to do became impossible unless you paid their subscription to unlock everything. So now I have to delete as I can no longer complete any quests. Such a shame..Version: 1.84

Content Access Ends If Subscription EndsAny VIP content you purchase while you have a subscription will become unusable if your subscription ends. It’s a fun enough little stimming game, but if you actually want to progress through the levels and get new content then it’s not worth playing without VIP. Also, the developers obviously don’t care about non-members based on how they’ve responded to other comments. I even purchased a week subscription and played a lot to get new colors and patterns then once the subscription expired I could no longer use the content I unlocked. That’s either an oversight or intentional but regardless that along with making quests uncompletable without a subscription to get VIP content shows the experience of non-subscribers is unimportant to them despite their claims otherwise..Version: 1.95
