✓ Loved it till...pay to play players (extreme)Please think about the free to play players, they make up a large part of the community, and we do know that pay to play are important for income and it actually makes it fun also. But there is a limit to it when it becomes simply impossible to keep up. Even other pay to play player can’t keep up because that one person simply has unlimited funds. Please put a cap to how much a person can spend per day to get ahead because it is not fun when a person has 12mil power and the 2nd strongest player in your city has 4.5mil and considering how the power strength is actually exponential to the number, it would be imaginable that he stronger by tens of time. It is imaginable that you may have not seen this coming but there are many that do spend ridiculous amounts of money like that, that ruins games. If you would like to have an active player base and stay on the top of the game store rankings, I recommend thinking of the little guys who make up the majority. I do like your pay to play system, it charges more than most other games which keeps the game very balanced for the most part, but a cap needs to be instated, including all cities because that is what happened on my game, the level 12 player came over from another city, and I can not see banning the movement of player from city to city in this game except from a level 2 city to a level 1 city..Version: 1.08

✓ MoneySo this game is great, amazing idea, mechanics and all of that taking just how fun it is I would rate it 5 star easily how ever the only bad thing is competition. If you are a free to play player which most people are as they are not sad enough to spend money on some mobile game then it is difficult. On this server I played on that was a month old the average power was around 5m-10m, however you find many people who are willing to spend thousands on this game and will have 30m+ in a month so it is extremely boring and the only way to win is to join the best alliances which is boring. Overall this game is great but should not have a single money spending aspect as all as it removes the grind and highly separates players power. ✓ Dull as dishwasher, need to pay to winDespite what has to be the biggest and most annoying advertising campaign in history, Warpath is boring, predictable and uninvolving. The graphics are nothing like they are in the adverts (misrepresentation), the levelling up of units takes forever later on in the game, and you really do need to spend money to make progress, despite what the endless adverts would have you believe. The chat function is unregulated, and full of racist and sexist abuse. It's disgusting, and probably illegal here in the UK. Ultimately, I found Warpath boring, and my headquarters was destroyed completely two or three times every day, which is just plain irritating, and this aspect added to my ultimate decision to uninstall this game..Version: 3.01.0040
✓ Actually the worst game I’ve ever seenOfficers like Brisk Eagle, Sergeant Spanner and Tip of the Spear use modern day equipment in your so called “realistic ww2 strategy game” that in itself is nothing special. I remember in Chapter 6 of the campaign before the aircraft update that there was a russian soldier USING AN AK47 (EVEN IF YOU TRY TO MAKE IT AN AB46 IT STILL DOESNT WORK AS IT WAS AN EXPERIMENTAL PROJECT) WITH MODERN DAY HOLOGRAPHIC SIGHTS. And don’t get me started on the ads F18s bombing IS3s, Humvees destroyed by claymores from modern day, the absolute cringe and crap acting, and on top of using modern day equipment in the WW2 battlefield you also designed the ad campaign to lie about how “good it is”. Then here is the greatest annoyance - ‘I have X million power’ ‘OMG HOW YOU SO STRONG’ in the ads, like you guys overused it so much that it would make a toddler cry from the repetition. Oh and also the bloody starting screen is a modern day battlefield, when is your dev and marketing team actually going to use their brains and realise that they are making a ww2 game and not a modern day battlefield. ✓ Energy and game playFun game to play, strategy is really good. Like any game that’s free hard to play against people that spend bulk money on it and just smash everyone in there path. But the worst thing about the game is you require Energy to loot or collect materials to build as per every other game type like this one only difference is you can wait 15 hours or more without using any Energy and it still won’t be completely restored due the the massive time lapse to get 1 energy. ✓ Mobile adds are misleadingIgnore my bad English please TLDR:ads misleading, game meh, pay to win isn’t there Ok first off I’m a massive strategy game fan one of my favorites being hoi4 so when I get an add saying this game was a strategy game I was like hey it free why not give it a go honestly it loosely fits in to that category it more of a number game to me (technically how the game works) but there is no strategy I could find what put you troops in a bunker? ✓ Don’t bother downloading this game if your coming for a World War II gameThe combat is less than ideal! Most of the ads are everywhere and they seem to think that German tanks which is better at everything if they’re not about that there about some cool fancy goggles from the future… in the World War II video game? Think about this review how you like . But when I play a ww2 video game I don’t expect or really want The German tanks being better at everything I’m aware some German tanks were good designs but that doesn’t mean I will it takes five Shermans to take out one cat like Tiger the panther or a mouse. And the combat all you do is push Materials on your screen that are defended by an American soldier with an M-16! in World War II I know I shouldn’t be yapping about the models but at least use a Tommy gun or a grease gun or a M1 grand. ✓ Not very different from othersI play alot gacha games (japanese gambling games essentially, btw not anything connected to gacha life) and alot of times ive seen games like these, spend all there money on advertisement saying things like ‘u will get 200x free spins’ but i dont. Its pretty much fake advertisement and the amount of times ive played a game which is almost exactly identical to the gameplay on this. The only difference is the history which i can see is the only the ive seen theyve worked hard which could have been cool if the game was different and didnt trick me by making fake promises about getting good quick. Unless you do want the alliance wants you’ll be kicked and all the servers are run by massive alliances that are made up of 4/5 alliances. The PtW players are so powerful you don’t stand a chance against them. So if your FtP your screwed, unless of course you can spend in excess of 10 to 15 hours a day playing. ✓ Mobile strike cloneNot too long ago you may remember a game named Mobile Strike. It made the exact same format, using the exact same way of extracting money From players, and got boring after about 4 hours of playing. This game is going to quickly become a cash grab because not only is it extremely time consuming to upgrade buildings, as well as resources being extremely expensive. But hey, on the bright side you can fix that by going into the in game store and buying whatever you might need. If you are looking for an rts that is extremely fun and has great graphics I would recommend turning to Steam. Although I’m aware a lot of you are elementary or middle school kids that aren’t capable of getting jobs to buy expensive equipment like computers. I would still recommend 4 games that just do this game, but better. These games are Company of Heroes 2, Men of War Assault, Wargame: Red Dragon and Hears of Iron 4. All of these games I have put at least 500 hours into and have become fluent in and cannot recommend them more if you want a good strategy game to play. ✓ Misleading previews, becomes a grindI was drawn to the game for the sniper and similarly challenges that are heavily promoted in the previews and in ads on Instagram, and to be fair the story and play for this part of the game was great. The problem is that it was only a minor part the game. There are maybe 20 challenges and then it just stops and you’re stuck with a game where you build bases and alliances, nothing like the first player shooter that it presents itself to be. The game quickly becomes a huge grind and very futile. Alliance play is very important, but there will quickly become a dominant alliance that starts destroying everyone else. I didn’t even want to play this part of the game but kept it up in the hopes of more sniper games being released, but they never were. Members of the dominant alliance take the game way too seriously and their contributions to the chat are demeaning and bigoted but seemingly go unpunished. Honestly, it just tries to do too much and ends up being a pretty terrible game. Two stars because the few sniper challenges were fun and no ads, otherwise it would have been less.Version: 5.10

✓ Difficulty and logisticsThis was a little hard and there was no option to back out of the campaign and little bit of a game that makes you want to rage as when you try doing something for a while and you cant beat it. In the campaign you cant leave and strengthen your army. That option would make the game a little easier and more fun. Overall i did not have a good time playing this hence the 1 star I would not recommend playing this if you are not good at strategy games. If you are then might be a good game for you but if you downtime like strategy games don’t bother with this as you could invest your time in a better game. After a while the things you need to progress in the game either take forever to develop, or you have to pay to get them in a reasonable time. Hence there are big spenders who have enormously powerful bases and you have little chance against them. It becomes a spending war. I was enjoying the game, but when it started to need regular cash injections I quit. I would rather pay a one off flat fee to play a game. ✓ Apple customer service.Just restarted the game and utilized the city jump pass, which is a feature that Lilith created and promotes to help new players get a jumpstart on their account. I utilized this feature and find out that people that did not use the jump pass have access to a month-long promotion with huge benefits and I do not. So not only did I not get a Headstart I am substantially behind my peers even though I have done more work. I have notified Lilith of this problem, as well as most of the other people that suffered the same fate, and they have told us that it is not their problem, and they have no intentions of helping us in anyway. I have sent them multiple messages and they have given me no help and by the responses that they’ve given me it is clear that they either are too lazy to properly respond or don’t even understand completely what the problem is. ✓ Good Game if you can get onThis game is really fun, but only if you join an Alliance early otherwise you will just get attacked the moment you look away. The worst part about this game is if you are not in game ALL the time your units do not attack the enemy who are attacking your base, so you could spend 100’s of dollars on your units and yet if you are not in game they will do nothing. Next is the connection issues I have tried contacting support got a message back never heard from them again, after every patch I lose the ability to go in game without wifi which is funny when this is advertised as a mobile game but I can’t go mobile using it. This game is only good if you are connected 24/7 because the moment you are offline AND EVERYONE CAN SEE WHEN YOU ARE OFFLINE BTW. It started out as a WW2-themed game and has era pieces / technology in the main component of the game. However, recent updates have begun to shift to modern-era pieces / technology. From the app artwork and opening wallpaper to the new OPS Center missions, the game now shows weapons and technology from decades after the 1940s. Having a more consistent theme would help players focus on the game itself rather then trying to figure out the end state of the game. Additionally, more technology should be provided to help increase production / collection speed as well as capacity within Level 2-3 cities. Even when maximizing all technology (individual and alliance) for collection, it still takes a week of constantly playing the game (to continuously collect) to upgrade a single building in the mid-20s levels. I was thinking that this would be a game I would really enjoy playing: looks like this one was historically accurate , graphics were good , AND gameplay that the ads promised not to be like those other games who’s ads lie about their gameplay. When it finally came out I was greeted with a sign saying turn your iPad. Can’t play wide screen!!! The uniforms are not historically accurate. The game itself should not be considered strategic it’s basically a build your base and scavenge for supply game. You can’t command and conquer game in this game. ✓ Good idea on paper but poor execution.Initially this game was pretty fun. Overtime progression got less interesting though, as you just do the same few things over and over again. It’d be more fun if there were more things you could add to your base, or possible to get more units etc. However my biggest complaint is that it’s almost impossible to play with friends the way game is played. If you start with a friend you’ll probably be separated in different cities, and you can even be in the same city but different servers. When you change cities your alliance doesn’t go with you, you leave the alliance and everyone else you were with. And progression relies too much on building alliances, and if your alliance never becomes strong then no need to play the game anymore because you won’t be able to progress or join the strong ones that dominate all of the game. ✓ Whales Ruined the Game!I’ve been playing this game for a few months now and it out great until…….. fast forward to present, I’m level 24 and in a solid alliance(mostly North American players) and the game has turned into a nightmare. Our alliance can’t progress anymore and we pretty much spend everyday waking up to our bases being demolished. To make matters worse we can barely repair our bases to maximum hp without getting bullied by high level whale alliances. Yes you read that correctly this game has been ruined by mostly Malaysian Whale alliances aka Zod, Zodn, Z….. pretty much any alliance with a Z in it is a Malaysian whale alliance dominating the entire North American territory and there is nothing you can do to stop them because they are all lv 27-32 players with maxed out lv 10 tanks and artillery. It is sad to say but the server my account is on is pretty much dead and players in my alliance including myself have just given up and dropped tags and this game altogether. The main problem is the Developers for this game are not putting any restrictions in place towards these high level whales and it is ruining the game play for low level free to play players to even grow. I would not recommend this game to anyone unless you are going to spend a lot of money, that would be the only way to make any progress. This is just another skin, this game is flooded with p2w offers, I want to remind people that “strategy” tag cannot exist in a p2w game. In the game in first 3 days the campaign showed some strategy until the 2nd map, on 2nd map it become simple and directly based on the power of units in straight battle. I seen devs talk about “you can flank the enemy”, the enemy will shoot you down by the time you reach their flank, many units move slowly and all can’t shoot while moving. You also able to see everyone around you, so the only way to flank another player is when that player is offline, the offline player ai just attack back and doesn’t even move when another unit gets attacked close to it. The campaign map is also too small to flank an enemy, most of the time the enemy is spread out and its just straight on fight with you barely having time to move few spaces, because they just rash you. It has a great idea for games that have a similar concept, build a base, train your army, resources, research, form or join an alliance. Unfortunately I lost interest in this game because of a couple of things. 1: the progression gets slow fairly quickly. 2: the community is very toxic and will destroy your troops and base for no apparent reason. ✓ Another disappointmentI was really hoping this was a real time strategy game like advertised. I was hoping for something like classic Red Alert where you can actually choose how many of each unit you want and strategize how you build your base. Unfortunately, this game is the same as every other mobile base building cash grab out there. The enemies are scattered around the map in little award nodes rather than an actual base and the units are upgradable cards. Unlike a normal rts where you build an infantry guy, he dies and you build another one, instead you get an infantry guy you keep upgrading and rebuilding the same unit of six guys who all act as one. There is almost no strategy involved in the battles, you just select all units and attack while they automatically do everything. You can’t move them in a certain order or flank or anything. How do you get new units and tanks? Well, a slot machine gatcha of course! How else could they farm money? This is just another cash grab and really disappointing, I really wish a developer would make a real RTS for iOS, this tap a button, get reward gameplay is boring, uninspired and greedy. This game throws a lot at you when you first begin like most games of this genre. But the game was definitely not clear in that your base can be attacked and destroyed by an enemy alliance. And I’ve had to use half my reserves to take half of its health, you cannot control the units anymore like before. ✓ Extremely unbalancedFirst off let me start off by saying that this game is absolutely amazing. It has so much potential and more but the problem is other players who either cheat or spend way too much money to become so powerful they absorb other alliances and lock the whole server and cities to themselves that one cannot enjoy the game. You don’t get time protection from these people and if you’ve paid a lot of money like I have done you’ve wasted all this money for nothing. Most of these large allainces are based in Asia, go figure. So beware about spending money and getting your hopes up because you will fail and lose to these bigger clans. I don’t know how they are doing it becoming 30-40 million power in a couple of weeks but I hope the Devs can fix this issue. Until then the game is unplayable orEnjoyable at the moment. ✓ Fake ads - not a sniper game, and *very* buggyI have updated my review after a shameless response from the developers to my criticism of their fake ads. It is nothing like the adverts show. They show a first person sniper game (which is why I downloaded it) but that’s in effect a side game. Warpath is a typical empire building game. It’s not tactically taxing at all, it’s pretty simple. However the actual game environment is overly complicated. It’s one big organisational mess. There are rewards and targets and build/upgrade options all over the place. This would be fine if the game was deep and complex - and stable. Unfortunately it’s none of these things. It can crash multiples times in the space of an hour and it has done this every time I have played. For all these faults, I would be lying if I said it wasn’t enjoyable. There is a lot to like, but it is absolutely not an FPS sniper game, and it absolutely isn’t stable or well-structured..Version: 5.10.0030
✓ I totally agree with spectreblizer about these adverts for game!!!!First of all don’t get me wrong with game is fun and it’s a cool game but you lose all my respect now matter how fun a game is when you false advertise something that you have made and it’s really inaccurate to the actual game!! ✓ Worst Developer Out ThereBeen playing the game for months and been promised by the developers that update 3, then update 4 would resolve the issues. Instead the issues get worse and the game will become unplayable as soon as you get to later stages. Ive sent screen shot after screen shot of issues, videos of poor coding meaning things just dont work and everytime its the same poor response. I have wrote to apple as they should really remove the game until its fixed but it generates too much money for them and so they have no interest. ✓ Truly a pay to win game (Expensive!)I’ve been playing this for two years. I’ve meet some great international friends in my alliance. But this game has truly changed to be a pay to win game. While there is some strategy involved (minimal now) The only way to win and grow is to spend $$. The only way to get advanced and more lethal weapons is to spend money. And when I say spend money, I mean hundreds and thousands of dollars. If you don’t, you will be at the mercy of whales that will constantly bully you and destroy you. There is no mechanism to restrict more powerful players from bullying you. Devs, if you are listening, I would rather spend $50 to purchase a game like this that doesn’t have in app purchases, and requires me to use good strategy to grow over time, instead of being at the mercy of players that don’t use strategy and hard work and instead pay for their power..Version: 7.30

✓ Good Idea but needs to have a PvP disable optionI liked the mechanics and the general idea of the game, the PvE stuff is great. It’s all fun and games, until a clan of people 20 levels higher obliterate your base… oh and your units apparently don’t shoot back, according to the battle reports my units killed 0 enemies. Relocating seems pointless if players like that have free reign. I wish it were more like BattleNations where you could turn PvP on and off, so your base doesn’t get attacked when you don’t want it too. It also seems kinda cruel to make me spend my hard earned resources to rebuild said base and units, so… what it can get bombed all over again? ✓ What a greedy companyStarted playing this game many, many months ago way before the planes update when the events were fun and you could make good progress with the events (with little money spent) Now, events are capped now for f2p players, you have to buy coins You used to be able to farm them from bunkers, where people would gather 100+ coins with spending little money and make great progress Now they limit you to 5 coins and you have to buy the rest Everything is about money, You level up your airport £99 purchase thrown in your face You level up your barracks Guess what!!! £99 purchase thrown in ya face You want decent stuff You gotta spend a bloody fortune There’s half a dozen people in my server who’s spent easily over £25k They have that much power it’s takes two whole alliances just to wipe him and sent him away for 30 mins for him to come back The keep was fun but as soon as the greed grabbed the company, the fun left for me Money to add research queues Money to add increase production Money to compete with half the server People who spent fortunes before the latest massive update saved hugely because there’s no additional upgrades to the base that people before hand automatically got where we didn’t so we have a bigger mountain to climb Games messed up And the plane update (to add planes) Well………. ✓ Terrible waste of moneyYou will spend lots of money only to end up in a rigged conquest lead by whales of this game. Lilith will do nothing to balance the game because it takes care of its whales like a casino. Whales will make alliances with fake enemies and pretend to fight to give each other points and advance their own interests at the expense of everyone else in that server. ✓ Good concept, bad executionThis is overall a good game, you can enjoy playing it and depending how much your willing to spend your experiences can be great. The main issues arise from the power gaps that can happen on a server, and the entry permit system. To put it short, there are whale players with 50 mil power that can easily take on on alliances of people mixed between 10-25 mil power. Entry permits also force alliances to merge together to get transport nodes which incentivises the top players to band to together. If they balance these issues out it would definitely be at least a 4* game..Version: 7.20
✓ BoringI have gotten so many ad for this game and I thought I should check it out. I was immediately disappointed because you could only play with the screen vertical and you can’t play it with the device turned horizontally! I then got into the action and what this game was supposed to be about. Just boring. I fought some tutorial AI and there was nothing special. They just shot at each other and then the enemy was “defeated”. I then tried to take down some other tank that could have been another player’s and I destroyed it but the process was life wasting. I thought this game was gonna be different from other games but it was nothing special. It is very similar to Rise of Kingdoms which I used to play but only really upgraded things which took forever. This is just a game that you have to put countless hours in upgrading to get to a point where things might get a little interesting. I don’t know why anyone would play this more than once so I highly recommend do not get this game it is nothing worth your time..Version: 1.08
✓ Ruined by pay 2 win playersWarpath is a great game if it wouldn't be spoiled by some people spending thousands on in app purchases to have a power that makes it impossible to win against them. Then these pay 2 win players all form an alliance to bully everyone else and take over the server. Worst customer support I ever saw. I asked for a refund for a purchase and they penalise you with -270k gold instead of a refund on the items that were for the purchase. My recommendations to potential players are not get tricked to spend money which is nearly compulsory to keep up with most players. My recommendation to the software company to improve their customer service and bullying approach to customers. I understand you make money from all these pay2win players but it spoils the fun for everyone else and this could be a game to enjoy if you would limit the abuse of power gained by buying all the in app purchases..Version: 1.10
