✓ Tapping SimulatorThis game is nothing to write home about. I only downloaded it because I had nothing else to do, and I typed in “AFK game”. Kept me fairly interested for a week or so, but once I saw got past the first few levels of the campaign, I realized the rest of the game was gonna be the same, repetitive objective. Unlocking new heroes is cool, but upgrading them to respectable levels requires duplicates, which are a royal pain in the neck to obtain. Have fun wasting all your diamonds in Dolly’s place or whatever, it rarely pays off. It encourages you to pay obscene amounts of money for, let’s be real, bad heroes. But at this point, it’s practically standard for mediocre free-to-play apps. I wouldn’t spend $100 on a pair of shoes, much less a Legendary Brutus pack. And instead of AFK Arena, it should be called “Tapping Simulator”. Honestly I have never seen so many useless pop-ups in a game ever. I spend a good few minutes just getting rid of all the annoying little exclamation points that are just peppered all. Over. The. Place. And you can only be AFK for 14 hours before it stops storing loot for you. Sometimes I don’t touch this game for weeks, and I only get 14 hours worth of loot? I’m uninstalling it after I post this. I was gonna give it 3 stars but I feel like 2 is more appropriate. Do not recommend..Version: 1.76.01
✓ It was good but...I started playing about around August of 2019, and I stopped to focus on school for about a year before I got back into it this month. Frankly, I much prefer the 2019-before-all-the-updates-AFK Arena compared to this one. 1) the events are kinda iffy. I used to really enjoy the events since they were an additional source to boost my heroes but the Winter events were not it. Given that there’s so many events going on, they should at least be worth the time. 2) it is nearly impossible to get Celestials/Hypogeans/Dimensionals without paying. I get that they’re a way to get profit, but if they’re being released that often, I would've liked to be able to have more access to them. 3) I really like this game, and I would love to continue playing. But the line between a “good” hero and a “bad” one is so significant that when you’re mid-game with “bad” heroes, you either have to move to another server, try to continue with your heroes by gear, or reset some heroes to level up/ascend other heroes from the Tavern. If you want a casual strategy game, this is literally what you’re looking for. But I can’t help compare it to what it was before and it’s kind of disappointing that it’s taking such a turn..Version: 1.53.01
✓ Given the app a little timeSo far the games pretty standard. Designs are very pretty and some character designs can be incredibly likeable. As a new player i joined seeing the promo codes which i still have not been able To discover just how to input these as the game doesn’t tell you. Obviously the advertisement either lies. OR! The game won’t tell you when you unlock said function , which in my opinion however a smart tactic is kinda annoying and feels as though i may have been played. ✓ Maybe just me?I have played many of these types of games before. I like the premise that gatcha games have, and know what these games need to have in order to be enjoyable. This game has the usual aspects with the summoning type system and level layout. The characters/artwork are beautiful as well making it one of the most eye catching game I have played in a while. In my opinion, though, the best aspect is the AFK part of this game. Most like it don’t have this system and requires you to pay money and constantly play in order to progress at a good rate. This game allows you to not only spend less money but also progress at the same rate even without being active. I wish that more games could have this type of system. This was what I enjoyed from the game so far. In another review of this game, someone had a problem where their game would crash constantly. In response to this, a developer instructed to free up space on their phone by at least 2 GB. I have 5 GB of free space, but I cannot even access the loading screen without the game crashing. Just in case internet access is a factor, I have very fast and good connection. This problem is so bad that every time I delete and reinstall the app, I can only get to the game twice before it refuses to open again. I have done this 5 times already. I like what I have seen so far of the game and want to progress, but this flaw is preventing me..Version: 1.29.04
✓ Started off good however gone down hillI’m level 70 so put a few hours into this game however it’s not till you later progress it becomes a waste of time. Unless your prepared to spend a lot of money, character progression will slow down dramatically and then it becomes basically impossible to beat the higher tiers in the campaign or kings tower. Summoning hero’s has a 4.61% chance to get an elite tier hero and it will take roughly 3 days of active playing to accumulate enough gems to summon 10 hero’s, most of which are common and useless. This will cost you 2700 gems to do this. Daily signing rewards has stopped and you now get a measly 20 gems and 2 elite soul stones (60 soul stones required to summon an elite hero) so 30 days of signing in before you get a guaranteed elite hero!). I’m at the point where signing in now gets enough energy to progress a hero 2 levels each time after 12 hours AFK, all of which make no difference in the campaign and I’ve been stuck on the same boss level for a week now. Basically it becomes very slow and boring after a few weeks of solid game play. Save your time and money and play Idle Heroes which is basically exactly the same game however far more rewarding, easier to progress without spending a penny and you actually get decent daily and hourly rewards..Version: 1.20.02
✓ They hold you hostage until you payI’m rather disappointed. I started to play after a friend got me into it, but after receiving a dimensional hero and putting work into it, the trial period has ended and now I’m being forced to pay $70 to unlock all my resources on him or wait 60 days. As a new player this is extremely disappointing and a huge set back. I will be quitting this game and no longer be recommending it if this is how it is..Version: 1.41.02
✓ I love this game but...I’ve only started this game today but I’m a little bit confused with the arcane labyrinth as it only lets me go to floor 3 and it’s the same with some of the people that I’m in a guild so I would like to ask why is that? And I would also like to ask why is it so hard for all the plays to actually get good hero’s like the chance to get an a elite and above should be increased massively especially for people who don’t pay to play the game Becouse it just takes to long to grind for enough just to spin for ten heroes and with that alone is over 2000 gems and even with that u have no chance to to have the smallest chance to get a hero hat above an elite so you should make the chance to get an elite or above better. if you could do this then I would change my rating from three stars to five..Version: 1.15.09
✓ Good game overallThis game can be addictive and usually keeps me up at night just to level up and get more and more hero’s. But there is just one problem, if you consider this game a free-to-play game then why do you need to spend money to get to higher tiers after some time. It’s nearly impossible to level up now because I haven’t bought anything and I’ve been playing for a week or two. Before it took a few hours to level up which I thought was alright but now I have to spend a day to level up which is absurd. Though the idea to introduce new servers to have more than one account was good and meant many content creators could use second accounts to create more ideas for this game. ✓ Awesome game, needs improvementI don’t really play a lot of games but this one is definitely one of my favorites. This game has awesome graphics, lots of content, many features to keep you playing for hours, overall very entertaining. But my one and only issue I have with this game and the reason I only gave it 3 stars it’s because It still needs a lot of improvement. It really annoying when the developers send out emails saying they are fixing bugs and that they are sorry some players won’t get to join in certain events, although they do send a reward for the inconvenience but still I for one would like to participate on the challenges sometimes. Now my biggest issue is this game crashes A LOT!!! Especially when you are in the middle of some battle or important task, and it seem to happen to me especially when I’m doing a guild hunt. The game will kick me out and close the app, right in the middle of the battle. This is infuriating! Especially when they only let you do a guild hunt two times in a day so once it kicks me out i lost that one turn. But besides this yes i would recommend downloading this game! ✓ Not very goodOkay, to avoid just ranting I’ll begin with the pros of the game; it has a cool art style. Alright, now that the pros are out of the way....where to begin? This game has so many problems. It seems like it’s still in beta. Little things like a few letters from a word will run-on to the next line, poor use of pronouns (everything is “he/his”), after I play for 20-30 min the game slows to a crawl, but mostly the biggest problems just come down to poor game design. The game is terribly unbalanced. Total lack of guild content. Perhaps the worst aspect of the game is that the bottom-tier heroes (there are only 3 tiers) have absolutely no use, AT ALL. As in, you can’t even use them as fodder to power up your stronger heroes! I don’t know who thought that was a good idea but seriously, what’s the point of having them? The strong heroes are rare as you’d expect and I’d be fine with that except that you have to pull several of the same hero to power them up. So, your progress will stop after about 2 - 3 weeks of playing and then you’ll be stuck until you happen to pull enough of the same hero-types as your strongest heroes, however long that may be. You can’t even grind at a slow pace to eventually get stronger, just get lucky summons, that is all..Version: 1.16.03
✓ So close to being a great gameThe graphics are great for a mobile game and have the option to speed up the battles 2x along with the animations is really nice! The soundtrack as well as vocals for each hero are unique and add a really nice touch Mechanics are simple to understand and easy to pick up especially if you’re familiar with similar mobile games. The A.I and target mechanics are well done. Yes you will advance much quicker if you pay actual money. This is where my biggest gripe lies. Probably going to be the reason I quit this game as well. Each time I get a new hero I’m excited and want to level them up, but my god there’s so much lack of hero experience I end up waiting hours on hours just to level up my hero’s once or twice. Yeah, I could pay for that. But the rates need to be buffed. Other reviewers have said the same thing. I’ve done the tower, guild hunt, arena, and every event. Yet I always find myself waiting hours on hours just to get more hero exp. I’m not asking for an increase of like 5x hero exp. Just something like 1.5x would be amazing. I’m willing to bet you’d have a lot more players active as well Also this is coming from someone whose VIP4. ✓ Decent, but...Decent game overall. Threw a little money at it, would have spent more if there was something else remotely ‘value’ for money. Decided on the 3 stars (and subsequent uninstall) because despite playing daily for a couple of months, the guild I created and help build up was randomly given to someone because I was inactive for only 3 days (btw, it’s called ‘AFK’ Arena!) and with no way of getting it back. The worst part is that I wasn’t even informed and had to contact support to find out what had happened. The response from support was swift, but quite dismissive. Anyway, with random, strict rules like that and the lack of communication when they’re being enforced... I’m out! ✓ This game had me addicted until the Easter event.This latest Easter event has left me with a very sour taste in my mouth. It appears after the global launch happened, the game went from being fair priced, allowed free to play players to enjoy it, and offering reasonable prices for advancements to those who want to pay minimal amounts, to a complete 180 only allowing those who pay tons to enjoy this game. Yes a business need to make money, but doing it like this it just a slap across the face. Events should not be catering to whales so that Lilith can make the most money. ✓ UninstalledI’ve officially stopped playing this game because after a certain point, it becomes clear that the game is very P2W. The Easter Event is unfair for those who don’t want to spend money or a whole lot of money on the game. I understand there are free eggs but you don’t earn enough to be able to get the items/heroes you want and tempt players with Ascended tier heroes (because the gacha rates are pretty bad). You only get one egg for each bounty you do on the bounty board, two for reaching a certain amount of spaces in the labyrinth, two for every two hours AFK (for a whopping grand total of 12), and four for the Soren guild hunt which isn’t really fair for players who are in guilds that are just taking off and can’t do that raid (because you need 9,000 guild points in order to do it). There’s also a bundle in which they want you to pay $20 to get 8500+ diamonds for completing different goals (like completing Chapter 1 for example). Certain heroes and items needed to help you progress are locked behind paywalls. And the only players who actually get recognition in the game are the ones willing to empty their bank accounts for it. Greed can really ruin games like this and it’s not fair for the people who can’t give thousands of dollars just to progress. I suggest giving the game a pass and come back when or if their greedy game developer phase ends. 🤷🏾♀️.Version: 1.15.09

✓ Stalls at high levelsThis game is great until higher levels when it just stalls because advancing your players becomes too slow. my last 30 summons have been 75% greens (which are useless and just a waste of scrolls/diamonds) and not 1 of them from my wish lists. ✓ Good but could be BetterThe game overall is pretty enjoyable as I play everyday, apart from a few issues that at the beginning do not seem so big but as you play progression slows almost to a complete stop, unless you are spending BIG dollars or are a VERY LUCKY player. 1. Hero’s are continually added to the game diluting the pool of hero’s which in tow leads to major difficulties in ascending the hero’s you may already have. 2.Drop rate is extremely poor, you could be waiting weeks even months for the hero you need in order to ascend. The ‘wishlist’ does not help in the least. Gamers have continually asked for the drop rate to improve but nothing has changed....I follow the fb and insta pages. 3. Once you are stuck on a level you will find that there is not much else to do within the game as there aren’t many events. 4. If you aren’t willing to pay to win then progression within the game is extremely slow as you could be stuck on the same level for weeks. ✓ Content haltThis game could easily be 5/5, however there needs to be a chamge in the progress campaign. You literally haveto wait overnight to save up exp in the chest cache and it strips away the fun when you come to that realization. Especially and you wait a day and spend the exp just to lvl up twice on only one hero which again halts your progress and it makes you want to delete the game. I actually like the chest cache but If there was a way you can grind exp cause the only way you can is through waiting and you get little bits through progress which is obviously limited. Not sure if you guys will change how the campaign is but im sure you have users that are willing to grind exp and not just wait around. Also the game was COMPLETELY different to the ad what was with that? Thanks other then that this can actually be a decent game but its ruined and designed to keep the player at bay and spend money. ✓ CrashesAfter playing this game for several days I enjoyed the gameplay. The problems never end... there are bugs in loading and it crashes almost every five minutes after playing. These can be patched but it really annoys the player. Not sure if this is for everyone, but it has happened and especially if you put in real cash, I feel that I would want a refund after what I have experienced. The gameplay of this game is decent, the characters that I have obtained are decent but I got some very bad pulls after spending many gems on the summoning pool. I have enjoyed the afk feature but the resources are just not coming for me. I have not been able to progress that far even with the afk resource feature. The huge problem are the bugs. This has automatically made me one star this game. I can’t play the game if the game crashes continuously even with good connection. I have an iPhone which is supposed to be superior to other phones on the market and somehow this game doesn’t perform. The crash rate is way too much and it destroyed my liking for the game. If they fix this issue I’ll give a higher rating, but as I explained, it has a ridiculous amount of bugs in loading times and this has been the biggest troll games can do to customers. ✓ Really love game, but game really loves crashingI’ve been playing for a few month now, and I’m at level 117. I originally was playing on my phone and that worked well, but had to transfer to iPad mini. I expected there to be a couple issues, and at first I experienced a game crash ever so often. But unfortunately now the game crashes before it even loads, or even reaches the loading screen. I’ve tried clearing out my device, and reinstalling the app, but it only solves the problem until it crashes, and then I’m back to being unable to log in at all. ✓ Game was good until it started getting stuck, frozen, during gameplayI used to really like this game, i was playing daily and progressing well the past couple of months. I wanted to see if i can play well without having to spend any money which i did. Than the game started getting stuck, during game play it just froze, this happens multiple times a few days in a row, this is after summoning mechanic and odds were really unlucky for a month straight, i tried delete and download again, clear cache, check internet connection... none of it seem to fix the freezing issue so i just delete this game and kick it off my ipad, since the issue can get you frustrated if it happens over and over again, game should be enjoyed, not making you frustrated or upset (regardless whether this is due to internet connection or bugs and the game itself which in this case I don’t think internet is the reason) so it is no longer worth playing when this kind of issue keeps affecting the playing experience. After this posted this initial review, i got a message from this game developer asking me to reinstall and make sure my internet is fast and message them from in game if issue still persist. I already decided to stop playing this game so how would i message them from in game, could not care less, i will also kick email communication from them out of my mailbox.Version: 1.61.01
✓ P2w with bad summon ratesAfter you complete the easy stages (which are easy to hook you to the game) things get exponentially more difficult and require more summons to get your units stronger. Sure this is like most games but when you spent your diamonds and the rate it's a 50% rate to get a common unit which is completely useless and only a 4% chance to get the useful unit. And to get more diamonds after you waste them is to either wait and grind or pay just for the same shorty pulls. And if you want to actually compete with the top players in the server you will never beat them unless you pay as much as them giving no chcefor ftp player a chance. I'm just about ready to delete the app, and I'm leaving this 1 star review while I'm still currently playing. I play the game everyday and joined really early in when a server opened. I'm close to the top 50 for both staging and the tower but the difference between the top players is so massive. The top player is almost 3 whole chapters above the 2nd highest player. The main issue is that it gets hard to save up diamonds and to waste them by getting 7 green and 3 blue is not going to help people progress or catch up to those that p2w. Increasing the rates slightly or heavily lower the rate of green on diamond summons would help. And more events(like the Easter one but less pay for eggs) that can allow people to work for a goal and pick something that will help them..Version: 1.16.03
✓ Very afkThe game is great and really fun. It’s easy to understand and fairly intuitive. The art is a whole other level. Only thing is, it’s VERY afk; as someone who is used to grinding in rpgs, it was surprising the rewards you can receive for not doing much. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, in fact i enjoy the change. It really depends on the preference. About the chats though. I don’t know about other languages, but the english chat during the day is full of people who say dirty things. The chat does get censored but people manage to evade that by döïñg thïś. ✓ Don’t be fooledSeems like a great game on the surface but there is a few major problems with it. 1. The game in the advertisements is completely different to the game you play. If you are here for that turn back now because because this didn’t even close to it. 2. Progress in this game is very slow and heavily reliant on chance. That is unless you want to speed up the game by paying to increase the odds of you getting to advance. However that’s not even guaranteed. 3. The difficulty of this game doesn’t follow a linear line so you will hit some spots which are almost impossible to pass and then fly though the rest of it till you hit another similar spot. 4. Not much actual game play, you are limited to the amount of things you can do in a day. Once you hit a wall in the game that’s it your game play pretty much comes to a stand still till you can get past that bit, except for the few dailies you get to do. I wouldn’t play this game, it was fun for a bit but it’s just a massive cash grab with very little thought for the longevity of the game..Version: 1.17.05

✓ Great game overallFirst time playing idle game and quite surprised. Relaxing pace, easy diamonds, light but significant element of strategy, exquisite artstyle. Would continue playing it. The only down side is that the ads shown in other app is not representative - would give 5 star if I see it fixed. Update: The artstyle of hero portrait - one of game’s most shiny quality, what makes it special - is not as good as pre-update. Sorry but it’s a down to 3 star for now. ✓ CrashingI have been having this issue for a long time now. I’m not sure if it’s my phone or the actual app. But the game constantly crashes to home screen and I can’t play it anymore. I just recently deleted it and now re-downloading to see if this changes. I don’t know if the game will save my progress (if it doesn’t, I might as well just delete the game). Please fix for future players. All in all, it’s a good game and is true to its concept of getting rewards AFK. But it’s hard to progress as the levels get harder and I don’t have the necessary materials to upgrade my heroes (I’ve never paid for in-game items)..Version: 1.31.05
✓ They do not care about customers!I had been playing afk arena for weeks and had to go on a deployment that would keep me away from my phone for days at a time meaning I would not be able to play the game for days at a time but I was also the leader of a pretty big guild named Helux. One day I log back in to see I was no longer the guild master and I thought alright I’ll just ask the new one to make me the gm. However he removed me from my own guild that I purchased and spent weeks growing till it was almost lvl 4 and renamed it to bouv community. I immediately went to customer support to explain the situation and for those of you who do not know it is supposed to be a live chat customer support however I had to wait over 12 hours to get a response at 2:00 am in the morning saying “sorry can’t interfere with Guild matters” so you mean to tell me I am being punished for me being a soldier. I already have to be away from home for extended periods of time and only get to play whilst I’m connected to the fobs WiFi, and then I get punished for going beyond the wire. It truly shows that they do not care about there non P2W customers though even I have purchased a small amount of items I hope in the future people don’t have to go through what I did but I will most likely be uninstalling as I just lost weeks of work and a lot of friends I couldn’t add as our friends lists where full..Version: 1.17.05
✓ Great game/concept, but questionable devs and VERY misleading adsThe game is fun. I’ve played it for a few weeks and it doesn’t require much of a time commitment - as the name would infer. Unfortunately the devs lack transparency and make questionable decisions (as a cash grab?) such as locking event rewards behind paywalls (support’s actual response to a player was to tell him to pay $$$ if he wants the event reward - lol) and introducing mass quantities of heroes without introducing summoning changes to account for it. Furthermore, the ads for this game are EXTREMELY misleading (pretending it’s an action rpg, moba, etc) when honestly if they advertise it for what it is I think the game will perform fine..Version: 1.16.03

✓ Unable to LaunchI have an iPhone 6s with plenty of space and yes I have deleted and reinstalled the game, restarted my phone and even restored to factory settings - every other game I play works fine. So please stop telling me that my phone is too old to play your game, especially since I have spent money to progress. This game used to launch - and it crashed a lot. I have now been unable to play for a week, as the game doesn’t load. Lilith games doesn’t care that you’ve wasted your money on their mobile app, they just send you the exact same copy and pasted message any time you contact them in game. Outside of the game it is impossible to contact them. I just hope someone sees my review and fixes this very buggy game. Update 24/10 - Reply from dev was the same copied and pasted response as other reviews have gotten. It’s not been 8 days since I last managed to log in. ✓ Ignore the top review.Nothing in the top review is true maybe some things but mostly not. I've been playing this game everyday for the last 4 months. I've never missed a single day. My player level is 104 and I have a Max of 1450k fighting points. I wanted to make it clear that this is a pay to win game. I have not payed anything other than 1 dollar. The fact is people are already complete with the game and competeing competitively I'm only near halfway. Those people spend 100's of dollars on the game. If you don't like spending money then don't expect to get far without paying before you lose your sanity. The game isn't really that rewarding unless you wait as in the name of the game. If youve seen the ads its certainly stunning to see how poorly made the ads are especially with how much this game has already gotten. ✓ Good but could be betterThis game is good and it has occupied a lot of my time over the past few years. But now I am starting to get problems with the oak inn, where I select auto place and it just removes half of my furniture and doesn’t replace this. Also to make green heroes more useful than just retiring them to get more dust, they should be called “Elite Heroes” and you should have the capability of ascending the common tier heroes all the way up to elite+. ✓ Difficult for free to play playersYou get give a lot of gems through quests and missions. The first time you use your free 2700 gems for 10 heroes you get a Epic guaranteed. After that there is no guaranty I’ve spent 8000 gems and gotten no epics, this is fine because you have 4% chance to get an epic, 51% common and 45% rare. It’s only when you do the math and think I need to get 6 dupes to get to legendary then 3+ more for legendary+ then there is mythic (its likely more). Spend 27k gems for 100 heroes, 4 being epic factor in there’s 20 different epic champs so it’s likely those 4 will all be different. Why is this a problem? Because the further you progress the harder it gets so you’ll need your champs to be higher tiers, you can progress for free but e.g. you get max 20 companion tokens per day = 2 heroes (2% epic chance) or if you do 100 heroes rolls you can exchange those points for 1 epic. Just putting some numbers out there, for 12k gems = £99 (first time purchase), for 100 hero rolls = 27k gems = £200+, you can’t get legendary, highest level is epic in the rolls. The tiers are common, rare, epic, legendary then mythic. If your spending 200+ just on epic (unlikely you will get the epics you want) how much would it costs for higher tiers. I’m not hating on the game, it’s well put together game I just don’t think I could invest that kind of money..Version: 1.14.01
✓ It’s this just me or am I going crazyThis game is pretty amazing. I have been playing for about 2 month and am pretty addicted to it. The idea is amazing and the hero’s are so different and cool looking but every single device I have used to play this game will crash the game. I have used both an iPad and iPhone 6 and both would crash. The iPad would crash at the loading screen and the iPhone would crash randomly. I have no idea if anyone else is experiencing this issue and I have no idea if it’s just me that the problem but could you do something about it to make it so if it isn’t me that the problem that people like me can enjoy the game without dealing with crashing. ✓ A good game but with increasingly predatory micro transactionsThe game itself is good. Nice graphics, story, fun characters with backstories and a fair bit to do. You can get stuck a fair bit as a free player but if you’re patient you can get past these hurdles. This would usually lead to a 4 star review from me. The reason for 3 stars? The games monetisation is getting more and more aggressive. Gambling is part of many of these games it can be fun and it makes them money to keep going. BUT when it’s introduced to too many aspects or is done in such a way as to confuse or deceive players it is not fun and is just trying to extract cash from the unwary. Costs have also increased for many things. You can see this in the devs most recent blunder in which many people lost a great deal of premium currency. The mistake has been fixed but the developers response to those affected has been nothing short of disgusting. Due to it I’ve become a free to play player. ✓ 5 stars until this made it 1 starI’ve been playing for about a couple years now, my player level is 206 and my combat rating is 158M and for the most part I enjoyed the game until this recent event where there was hero swapping. This would have been cool or so I thought. When it says “replace hero” and “target hero” I assumed that I would “replace” said hero for the “target” hero and so I put thane in the replace hero slot thinking he would turn into talene, instead they switched levels and the progress on talene I’ve put in over the years is just gone, that alone made me sad enough to stop playing the game but what really put the nail in the coffin was the fact that after this I couldn’t even reach support. When this happened I tried several times to contact support just for a slight chance that I might be able to revert my mistake (even thought directions were unclear) but when I do, it says “Please tap Player Support” when there’s no button that says player support. It’s just pretty disappointing because I loved this game but now I don’t think I can play it without getting upset about what I did, I may be stupid for misinterpreting the directions for the hero swap but I wish they would have been more clear and that there is a way to revert this. ✓ Understand what the players thinkOverall a well designed game but the biggest issue of this game is a total disaster which is the progression wall design. Whenever you encounter this progression wall level most of the time there’s nothing you can do except for waiting for afk reward. And when you can’t ascend your heroes sometimes there’s only so much they could do. And to be honest you need pure luck to ascend your heroes. Players want to spend time using their own skills to pass progression walls instead of waiting for afk rewards. And trust me most people play mobile games to get a sense of satisfaction during daily life instead of frustration. If I want frustration and challenges I’ll be playing games like bloodbourne and dark souls. I deleted the game simply because of that. Too much frustration. ✓ Really fun but bottlenecks after a few weeksIt’s a F2P Gatcha game. It’s fun to play but it bottlenecks around stage 9 as the resource demand goes waaay up. It’s heavily reliant on getting lucky with the right roles to get good characters and getting lucky again to get doubles of those good characters to combine them to increase their rarity and battle ability. The the payment side of this game quickly becomes a joke with hugely inflated monetary values applied to really small bonuses. They have several “battle passes” that relate to different areas and easily cost more than $30. ✓ Horrible game. Need lots of luckIf you’re not lucky, you won’t get far in AFK arena. There’s an awakening system that requires copies of hero’s and hero’s of the same ranking in order to increase a hero’s stats and max level, and that’s all based on if you can summon enough copies of the hero you want to awaken and enough copies of the fodder units you’re going to use. This game is all based on luck, on one account it took me 4 months to get to chapter 13-1 bc I couldn’t summon enough copies and fodder hero’s to increase my hero’s stats and level, so my hero’s were stuck at legend. I recently made a new account, that scored lucky on getting multiple copies of daimon and solise and multiple fodder units from the faction I needed, a month after playing on this new account I have mythic+ hero’s and 1 transcendent on campaign 20-34. Bringing in an item that’s easily obtainable that we can use as a substitute for fodder units when awakening hero’s would really help. Also anyone playing this game bc they seen a cool ad thinking they could turn some zombie girl into an angel by leveling them up, you’re delusional. Leveling up hero’s is not that easy until you beat the game, which is kinda impossible bc this game is seriously harder then you think and giant pain. ✓ Decent game, unbelievably bad serviceI won’t say they don’t care about their player, because they literally threat their customers like trash. I spent $1 to get a special offer bundle that will only exist for a limited time(1 hour 30). Payment went through successfully but the bundle failed to deliver. I reached out to their customer service, described the issue with screenshots of transactions attached. Didn’t hear anything back after a hour. Not even an auto generated reply. So I requested a refund via google and my refund was approved immediately by google. Here comes the funny part. I eventually received the item I purchased.......after refund. I now have my money back and their $1 worth of item. Since I have been taught all these years to not to take an advantage off other people, even it’s just a dollar. so I left them a message telling them my money was refunded back to me. Please remove those “unpaid” items off my inventory. But what they did instead, they removed my $10 worth of diamonds (in-game currency) forcing me to pay that $1 to get my diamonds back. ✓ Warning to new players!I’ve played a lot of similar games in the past and still, AFK Arena, felt very nice from the get go so I’ve decided to stick with it for a while. After a few days I even bought ‘Advancement pack’ for 20 bucks as I liketo support goodgames on the market. There’s some variety inthe game, labyrinth is definitely a highlight for me, but it mostly comes down to finding the FOTM heroes and beefing them up so you can conquer higher levels, higher floors etc. All was well until the Easter event started and I realized that they are actually selling event currency (Easter eggs) that drop from quests, rewards, bosses and such which to begin with creates a big disbalance for an event as such, as you can just pay for all event rewards instead of enjoying the hunt of the event. Real issue actually is the price of the event currency, 3 eggs for a 1 dollar - doesn’t sound like a lot, right? But when you realize the top reward in Easter event is the hero that comes with a price tag of 450 eggs, aka 150 USD, you know somethings fishy and I’ve seen other games trying to overcapitalize on good reviews and high rankings only to fall off rather fast. Again, game is very decent for the genre it falls in, but I’m afraid such greed might be a downfall of the community rather fast, so spend your dollars wisely..Version: 1.15.09
✓ Apparently was good but isn’tI have an iPhone 8S, which I’m playing more games without troubles but this game is just crashing constantly. Starting a fight and crash, when you get some reward crash again, searching for arena opponents and crash again. Changing gear between heroes and crashing again.... all the time. I have enough ram and more than 13Gb of memory free. Any other game is working perfectly it’s just this crap with a poor programming skills it’s annoying me all the time with stupid crashes. I like the game but just uninstalling right now till the company take it seriously and act like a professionals... Update: I cleaned the cache, I’m connected to 200 mega per second WiFi and I have 15Gb free space and Ive not other apps working on background. ✓ Hard to progressI’ve been playing this game now for quite awhile, and over this time I’ve spent a lot of hard earned money on it. However, even with all the money spent, the rewards have not been reaped because I’ve still been getting rare or uncommon heroes never any elite. They just don’t accommodate to people who enjoy the game and will spend real money on it to enhance the experience by attempting to progress rapidly. It’s definitely made me want to stop playing the game, especially after putting so much time and money into the game and receiving nothing other than 10 uncommon heroes each group summon in the noble tavern. Quite disappointed, think this needs to be worked on or users compensated in the game. Theres also no way to contact the developer when you’re having issues. Would really love to start playing this game again, but unfortunately that won’t happen until the developer realizes the amount people spend and then accommodate them accordingly. Definitely hard to progress on this game when you can never ascend your heroes because you never receive elite heroes. 2 times out of 50 I’ve received an elite hero from a summon 10. ✓ Heavily unbalancedThere are a few ascended heroes who stand high above all others in terms of usefulness. There are also some that are laughably useless and can’t even compare to the free heroes given at the start. This is a recipe for disappointment because of the rarity of even receiving an ascended hero in the first place. Spending a few days playing the game to save up for a 10x summon and hoping to see at least 1 purple card is bad enough. But if you do get a purple card and it ends up being useless, it’s not enjoyable and feels like wasted time. If there was some way to sell these useless purple heroes then it wouldn’t be so bad. But players are stuck with what RNG has decided for them. If the heroes were fairly balanced then this would never be an issue. Playing a game and saving up currency for days on end just to hit a wall and stalemate for a few more days before trying again is not ideal gameplay. Mechanics like these result in the best course of action being starting a new server over and over and over again for the early game currency rewards just to attempt to get lucky with 1 strong hero summon that will carry you through all the potential bad RNG you will likely face later on since there are so few good heroes. Doing this will only require replaying the early game a little over 20 times on average. Fun stuff. All easily fixable..Version: 1.16.03
