✓ No presets with upgrade purchaseAfter restoring purchase, deleting and reinstalling app using restore purchase again i have access to FX but there are no presets. I have requested a refund. I was annoyed at first but now think i probably have too many FX already, this was the universe telling me too many choices can stifle creativity. ✓ Once issue fixed, will change to 5 starI am using musicbox cs in Garagband (latest version 2.3.10) as a plug-in. I can open it, add a rack or preset., but as soon as I start inputting sound (by using the virtual keyboard in GB), I hear a pop sound that then disables sound completely for GB (and any other tracks in the song, regardless if those tracks have musicbox or not as a plugin). I am using 2018 iPad Pro and to demo the musicbox app I simply used a grand piano instrument in the standard Keys patches of GB. I don’t think memory is the issue as I use memory intensive music apps frequently. The only way I can get GB to work again is to turn off the musicbox plug-in, exit GB fully (swiped app), go back in to GB, choose my song, and KEEP MusicBox off! ✓ Diabolical behaviour by IK MultimediaThe update to 'free' +IAP has removed the content and functionality that I have already fully paid for. This is against App Store policy. The update has also deleted hundreds of my own presets! During their sales over the last couple of months, in which they will have enticed many new customers, they must have known they were planning to switch to this business model. ✓ Sort of fixed but still brokenUpdate: I've reduced my rating to 1 star as I don't believe IK are taking the ongoing issues with Mixbox seriously. Customers are being ignored or verbally insulted - the responses from an IK representative on the Audiobus forum are defensive and rude. If I could get a refund for my original purchase I would. For a company that says it puts musicians first I'd expect better. OK, so now I've got all the presets I paid for originally in standalone and AUM, BUT...I have to be connected to the Internet for them to load - not ideal. Eventide and FabFilter and many others (Actual pro grade developers) offer much more for less and allow family sharing. And cheaper apps comparable to yours are punching way above their weight. ✓ Musicians First??? Really? Full app not available when off-line!IK Multimedia’s slogan is “Musicians First” but unfortunately with this update this is not the case. I purchased the app before there was an in-app purchase, and was able to use it without any issues. Then the “CS” update came along and screwed it up. Now with the current 1.3.2 update, I got all my effects back, but now I lose all the effects when I’m on airplane mode or not on a Wi-Fi connection! Yes you read that right. When on airplane mode, or not connected to Wi-Fi, users CANNOT USE THE APP THEY PAID FOR! $80 for an app that has limited use. That is horrible, and doesn’t fit with their slogan of “Musicians First.” Why must I be on wi-fi? So if musicians have a performance and rely on this app its not usable, unless connected to wi-fi. ✓ There are much safer choices you can makeI bought MixBox at full price and then IK took away almost all the functionality when they made it free+IAP and it took two updates to get things back to working. They had previously promised they would not have IAPs in the product. The remaining - and huge - problem is that the new version does not work in existing projects. IK support won’t even acknowledge this is a problem and seem to have little desire to be on the side of existing customers (presumably) in their pursuit of new revenue. They have even been insulting to customers in their communications. This is not a sign of a professionally-minded, customer-focused company and I cannot recommend their products as a result..QryssVersion: 1.3.2

✓ Great when it works(typically doesn’t)The quality of the effects are amazing and really transformed my mix. However, it now doesn’t load the UI into the screen it just sits and spins in garageband. ✓ IK fails customersMixBox is a pretty expensive app to start with. To have the latest update cause the deletion of vital user presets plus other difficulties for longtime users without clear info about a fix is very poor customer service. Not only were presets lost, projects frozen, etc., hours of time by the users affected are lost without an appropriate apology, or, more importantly, a fix. Shame on you, IK. You’re losing lots of fans. Check the Audiobus Forum for more details. MixBox was a wonderful and diverse tool. ✓ Amazing app but needs a patch ASAPI’m currently reinstalling this app which is a real game changer and incredible addition to my DAW. The problem is that it seems like when the app is applied to more than three tracks at a time it is overloaded and it stops running completely, shutting down and causing it to no longer open in any iOS DAW system. I’m running an iPad Pro with a large processor that usually can handle multiple apps running at once but this app causes everything to shut down. It may be too good to be true because the sound is amazing and I’m not willing to quit using until I can find a work around but other folks that are not tech savvy will get frustrated with this. The only workaround would be to remove mixbox and then reload. I’ve lost all mixes on a project because of this. Otherwise it’s great. Terrible that this mistake happened. I think the patch from two days ago has resolved but now when i use mixbox within Cubasis it tells me to purchase to use effects. But i have already purchased.
