✓ Not boring app, BORING calculatorThis calculator looks fun and all but is a terrible calculator. For a paid app it offers marginally better functionality than the stock calculator app. This app should at least offer parenthesis for order of operations and square/ square root symbols to be worth it. Unfortunately despite the interference looking nice, you’re better off getting an app like Calzy to replace your default calculator which at least offers much more numeric operations..Version: 2.1
✓ Well….It’s really cute, can’t lie about that, however, not only do you have to pay monthly to use this app but if you’re really in the need for a calculator for a job or school then I suggest you just use the regular calculator on your phone. Unless I missed some other control or button you need to press to access it, this calculator has practically nothing compared to the free one on your phone. Brackets for example are really important in higher grade math and this app does not have them. You can’t multiply anything by a higher power or work out fractions like you can on the free calculator. It’s a cute idea and I love it but in the end its just useless and not practical… sorry.Version: 1.12

✓ Please Provide cost before downloadLet’s stop wasting everyone’s time. Obviously a lot of effort has gone into marketing these new apps. I down load it with warning on in app purchases only to find out the app gives a free 7 day trial and you must subscribe at a hefty fee after that. Just be up front and tell me the cost, reoccurring in this case, and save everyone some time. Maybe that is part of the not boring movement. Hardly. Download then delete..Version: 1.5
✓ Beautiful, at a costHuge fan of Andy Works and the Not Boring line of apps. The UX is just unbelievably good—rich, immersive animation, modern aesthetics, and delightful design. However, I found myself disappointed in this calculator app, for one simple reason: it has significantly less arithmetic functionality than Apple’s built in calculator app. This makes me sad because I would so much prefer to use the Not Boring Calculator, but realistically, I can’t survive on bare-bones basic operators (+ - * /) and a percentage button alone. If they ever decide to make this calculator usable for standard, higher than 4th grade level math, I’ll be back (happily!) in a flash..Version: 2.4

✓ Don’t even install itYou can’t see anything about the app without installing and agreeing to a 1 week free trial after which it auto charges a lot of money for a subscription. Lots of apps do this, and for ones that add new game levels all the time or have a continuous service like cloud backup of documents, I don’t enjoy it, but I understand it. But this is JUST a calculator, that’s it. I can’t even try out new colours or change sizes of numbers, buttons, anything without buying extra “skins” during the free trial. I bought the phone, pay every month for service, buy a lot of apps…pay money constantly, but this? Even if it was a SPECIAL pretty calculator, why can’t I just pay once to buy it. And own it. ✓ Barebones and Buggy Calculator AppFor a calculator app that is supposed to be pretty and costs 2$ a month minimum to work it is very upsetting to have it crash everytime I turn my phone on and off. Beyond the visuals and the ability to edit your mistakes there is nothing that puts this above the iPhone’s default calculator app, and for 2 smacks a month it is impossible to recommend. ✓ A calculator having a subscription is idiotic.I understand the weather app maybe needing a subscription for purchasing and up keeping weather data possibly, but there’s absolutely no reason a calculator and timer should have a subscription fee. Let alone one this high. I’d gladly pay a reasonable one time time fee for the calculator or timer. Utility type applications that need almost no upkeep SHOULD be a one time fee. This calculator will cost you almost $40 for an average 3 years of use, even the best calculator apps on the app store with insane amounts more of functionality don’t cost anywhere near this much and are one time fees while also getting updates. ✓ Pretty but not terribly usefulThis calculator is pretty and honestly not very expensive if you like it (the subscription comes with the developer’s other two apps, which share the same aesthetic), but it’s not an especially useful or well laid-out calculator and the visual style actually impairs readability a bit, which is a strange thing to have to say about a calculator..Version: 1.0
