✓ Fun, not enough updatesIt’s a fun blast from 2011 or whatever but there aren’t enough updates and there isn’t enough new content in the updates that are there..Version: 1.25.1

✓ Fun but needs workIt’s fun for a while but once you need to get coins to do anything it’s over. The game doesn’t tell you how to get them it’s random from what I can tell so you have to play 50 games to get 2 coins for a random slot machine that more often than not gives you a “bad luck” roll which feels bad to spend that much time to get one and for it to say ops try again. Upgrading anything would take days, weeks, or even years. So much focus on upgrading blades. They need to at least make coins and easier to get. I shouldn’t have to play for 3 hours to get one blade upgrade out of the nine they all need..Version: 1.21
✓ Meaningless blades and dojosI’ve been playing for a few weeks now, and unlike regular Classic, there’s no explicit explanation about what new blades and dojos will do. They definitely don’t do the things they do in Classic eg there are still bombs in the koi dojo, there is no Great Wave of fruit in the Great Wave dojo. And trial and error leads me to believe there is no difference between the blades and dojos other than aesthetics. It’s fun getting the Achievements and unlocking blades but I’ve got most of them now. It’s more like Classic- than Classic+.Version: 1.5
✓ Dojos dont workLove the progression but none of the dojos seem to have powers like they used to. no option to upgrade or anything, sucks because it used to be a fun mechanic but now its just the blades that have abilities. i like that theres no microtransactions though, everything else is solid. just no dojo powers :(.Version: 1.19
✓ Update: classic mode not so classic4/18: enjoying zen and arcade more than before because classic mode used to be about avoiding bombs as much getting combos. Now it’s literally single fruits popping up at a crazy rate just after around the 700 mark. I was able to score around 1000 without a sweat when this was truly a classic game now it seems more like a record breaking point. This has got to be tweaked. 4/3: It is classics like this for me that I’ll want to keep the subscription for haha. Original gameplay with no tracking and ads embedded. Also no IAPs..Version: 1.0
✓ Not as good as the original version.It seems like it is much easier to hit bombs in this version. I have yet to score 100 in classic mode and they frequently derail my blitzes in arcade mode. Also, I miss being able to buy powerups with starfruit (bomb deflects, exploding strawberries, and bonus time for peaches sliced in arcade and zen modes). It seems that all starfruit can be used for in this version is buying new blades and dojos, and even then, there is only a few that can be bought with starfruit - most of them require completing a special task to unlock..Version: 1.4
✓ What happened to my golden blade?So I was playing with my golden amber blade, but my iPad ran out of battery and then when I finally got my power to turn it back on I didn’t have anymore what happened? I play it for about 10 or 15 minutes and then I don’t try it again for a couple years. It would have so much more replay ability for me if they just changed one thing. ✓ Weird gambling gameplay loopI loved this game a decade ago, and it’s still really fun! Unfortunately, this new adaptation added a slot machine as a way to progress in the game. Remove it, please! ✓ Bamboo Shoot is impossible to get.The requirement for the bamboo shoot means you cannot get it in a single day. However, progress on the achievement resets too often for this to be possible. If this is fixed, I will give the game a better score..Version: 1.9
