✓ A perfect gameThis is probably the most Perfect puzzle game I have ever played. It starts out by telling you a story. A magnificent story. One you want to read until the end. But here, you don’t read it, you live it, puzzle by puzzle. And as you solve each puzzle you are rewarded with a little bit more of the story. You are guided toward the promise of the most powerful entity to ever exist. And it makes you feel more engaged with the story and your part in it the more you succeed. I’ve played all The Room games and I love them all! It must be very hard to come up with these incredible puzzles but I hope they do so I can continue the Adventure..Version: 1.0

✓ Simply the best PERIOD!No really, I’ve played so many puzzle games I’m running out of new ones to try in the App Store. Im just now trying Apple Arcade & I’m telling you this one is simply the best out there. The graphics, the sound effects…it’s perfect. The best level by far was the Séance level. Just the right amount of spooky. The hints were perfect throughout. The puzzles were well thought out and not frustrating. I wasn’t spending the entire time clicking around trying to find inventory. I can’t brag enough on these developers and what they’ve created here. 😲 Wait… I’m just realizing that this is probably the developers who made The Room Dark Matter on VR! It was my first Oculus purchase. If so it’s still my favorite oculus purchase. Anyway…I can’t wait for more! Y’all are killing it!.Version: 1.0

✓ Surprisingly ImmersiveI’ve seen “The Room” games in the App Store many times before, but never gave them a try. I decided to download this title, because it was on Apple Arcade. I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this game! It’s beautifully made. Everything from the visuals to the sound effects create this wonderfully haunting environment. The game is on the shorter side, but the puzzles are well-crafted. Not too difficult, but not too easy. Plus, there’s tons of variety. It never got boring. I found the story and lore fascinating, and I’m eager to I’ve dive into other titles of the series to learn more. I wish I gave this this series a shot earlier, but I’m glad I know of it now. ✓ I'm in love!!This is THE best game I've ever played! It reminded me of a computer game called "Myst" I used to play back in the day. Everything about this game was awesome. The graphics, the story, the puzzles, the sounds...oh the sounds!! You MUST wear headphones/earbuds to be fully immersed in the atmosphere. This is a game where you definitely need to use your brain so I really appreciate the hints throughout the game. If you get frustrated just take a break for a few days and then go back to it. Working through the puzzles with console quality graphics and some of the best sound effects in gaming, this puzzler doesn’t fall short in any way. My only “disappointment” for The Room 2 is the length. I wish it was about twice the length. Aside from that, the incredible attention to detail makes you feel that this is a passion project from a very talented group of developers. Extremely well done! ✓ I love all of The Room games!I just played The Room 2 again for the second time after a few years and it was just as fun and mysterious as the first time (I’d forgotten all the puzzles so it was like playing it for the first time again). And these puzzles are amazingly cool. They are definitely worth paying for, even for a single play through, because you won’t actually play them once. You’ll be back!😉 For those who are wondering, these games are definitely spooky and set the scene well for a dark academia mystery, but they are not scary. Not only are the puzzles themselves interesting and fun, but the animations and movement within those puzzles is fantastic. Unlike other challenging puzzle games which might have you yelling at the screen “how is that fair?!”, this one’s challenge is about your ability to use the clues and knowledge at hand rather than feeling like it’s a game that wants to “trick you”. ✓ Fantastic gameI picked this up through Apple Arcade, and I binged the entire game. I couldn’t put it down, and loved every moment of it. The atmosphere is perfectly set for the storyline, and the puzzles are really fun. Some are super simple, while others can really challenge your mind, making a terrific blend of fun and skill. However for the tougher puzzles, the hint system is great in providing just enough to nudge you along in the right direction, or you can keep hitting the hint button and it will give you the answer so you can actually move on. Just the right amount of ‘clues’ to keep me interested when I would otherwise have found myself getting frustrated, and you get to know more about how the game works the more you play. Another nice touch (for me) is that there were no colour based puzzles. I’ve played a lot of escape room type games and usually have to give up at that point as I can’t tell the colours apart. While I had wished the game was a bit longer, or perhaps had more cutscenes, I cannot fault anything about the narrative or the gameplay. The story and backbone are very Lovecraftian in nature, with a slow-burn development that constantly leaves one to wonder what lies next - answers and salvation, or abyss and damnation? The gameplay itself is fluid and intuitive, with the touch-based controls being extremely user friendly. The graphics, art, and design are nothing short of awe-inspiring. The puzzles contained within are difficult enough to keep you engaged and to keep yo thinking, but easy enough that the entire experience is still enjoyable. And should you get lost or need help, you’ll find the hints to be subtle enough that the answer isn’t given away, but also straight-forward without being condescending. If you’re looking for a puzzler and/or escape game but you’re sick of point-and-click mechanics and mind-numbing story, I definitely recommend this game! Fireproof, you’ve outdone yourselves! ✓ Great game, odd glitchAll The Room games are absolutely top teir. But be aware with the arcade version of The Room Two there is a weird glitch that will crash the game on first play through when you get to the ship room (second level). It does not save your progress and will crash quicker and quicker each time you relaunch until you delete and redownload. This happened to my friend when she played on her ipad too. The redownload seems to fix the problem for me, but was definitely frustrating when it happened. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend all the Room games..Version: 1.0

They were exactly the right amount of challenging. I didn’t get too frustrated, and I liked that the hints were available if I really got stuck. I love how detailed the game is and how hard you have to look to put together some of the pieces. The fact that you have to be really precise with some of the items on a touch screen can be a bit frustrating (ex: if I put a crank up to something but haven’t zoomed in all the way, it doesn’t recognize the match.) But anyway I finished that chapter and when onto the next and I could tell as soon as the door started to open that this was gonna be creepy (rusty doors on a creepy building at night, what do you expect?) so I exited the app and came over to write a review. I really liked all the puzzles because I had to think about them and remember the small details. But they weren’t to hard that I got frustrated. The only thing I would suggest is to make the story more clear but maybe that’s the point? I’m confused on why there a skeleton at the table and why they guys face it scratched out. I need answers! ✓ Update…Keeps crashingI was finally able to make it all the way through the game. WOW, it is awesome!! I really love this game, but it keeps crashing!! I made it through to completing the wooden box in chapter two when it crashed the first time. It made me start all over from the tutorial. After 8 additional crashes and having to redo the first chapter I am back at the start of the second chapter for the third time. Obviously I know how to get back to where I was and it does seem to have finally started saving some of my progress as each time it crashes I only go back a couple of steps but this is ridiculous. It totally takes the fun out of the game to have to keep redoing the same puzzles over and over again!! Obviously it shouldn’t be crashing but there should be some way to save your progress so you don’t have to redo stuff when it does crash!! It should either give you the option to save or should show that the game is saving your progress. If this were fixed it would be a 5 star game for sure!!.Version: 1.0
✓ A MasterpieceI loved the first room game on VR and this was just as incredible. I loved the new ways of interacting with puzzles like turning and switching mechanics. It added a ton more or added realism instead of the boring tapping and swiping. The graphics were also amazing making me feel like I was trapped in a sinking pirate ship or in the laboratory of some mad scientist. I also liked how each room had its own story, like in the temple room you learn the story of a ancient object cursing the land. Last thing, if you love horror then this game is the one for you. I enjoyed myself and it definitely satisfied the puzzle-solving, mystery-loving part of me. My only suggestions for improvement would be: 1) I’d like a little more control over the zoom speed. Having the camera angle whirl around or take a less than linear path gave me a bit of eyestrain. 2) Make the game better at knowing when I’ve already done what some hints say to do and not push those hints and/or provide a list of hints to choose from where the hints would only become available after the player unlocks them by solving certain things. The latter would also let me revisit hints if needed. I say this because some of the hints prompted me to do things I had already done or was in the process of doing. This meant that sometimes when I was ready for a hint, the game would push hint 1 or hint 2 when what I really needed was hint 3 or hint 4. I would find myself thinking, “I already figured that out. Tell me something I don’t know.” These suggestions should not take away from the fact that this game is really well done and immensely enjoyable for those of us who love puzzle solving and experiencing a sense of discovery. I just completed this game (again) and can’t help myself from loving it all over again. I love the mystery to the game. It’s not really clear as you go what the story will be. It keeps you guessing on what’s going to happen in the next chapter. The puzzles are fun and hard enough to keep you thinking. It’s not some mindless “this is done in 2 seconds” type of game. You’ll need to take screen shots or write things down because you’ll run across something that you’ll use 5 minutes later. Getting back to the clues is simple though, so if you’re lost, you can just look back on what you’ve already done. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is super user friendly. I like how the game gives you hints, but without giving you the answer straight out. I do wish that some of the clues were a little less “well duh, I already knew that” and a little more helpful. Like in the later chapters where the clue says “I picked up a handle. Each chapter is something completely new and different from the last, giving the game a nice variety that's rare in other games like this one. ✓ Awesome GameI’ve been playing this genre of games for a while and I have to say The Room Two is by far one of the best ones I’ve tried. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible to figure out and they have a nice logic sequence to them. If you are stuck there are hints you can use. The hints is another mechanic I liked. Whereas most games will tell you what to do or where to go by using hints, TRT gives you levels of hints starting from a general hint to specific ones. One more thing! I loved the graphics and movement mechanics. It felt very real as if I was truly interacting with the items in game. Great work folks! Looking forward to check more of your games!.Version: 1.0
✓ Best and most intriguing gameI absolutely loved everything about it. I played it for hours until I beat it. It was interesting and drew you in. You could never guess what was going to happen next and it just gets better each level. Even when you struggled it gave you clues, if need be, but they weren’t too telling. The only thing is it was wayyy too short. I really hope they do more games like this or add more levels because I’m obsessed! So sad it’s over but will definitely play again!!.Version: 1.0

✓ I have no wordsI honestly have no words to describe how great this game is! I love how each level gets progressively harder and you and ways have this eerie feeling that someone is watching you. Although it was difficult I was able to manage and beat the game. I totally recommend playing this game if you are a type of person who likes puzzle games. ✓ Amazing and fascinatingI loved this game. It’s puzzle boxes within escape rooms. The graphics are awesome and I didn’t want to stop until I finished it. ✓ Absolutely Stunning…This game is incredibly beautiful and can be rather challenging at times (which it should be), and if you ever get stumped, the game offers many helpful hints that are free and ‘unlimited’ to an extent. The main thing that I dislike about the game is the lack of levels, haha. There are currently only ‘7’ levels but they were all amazingly detailed and very unique. I personally LOVED the Pirate Ship level. If you guys are making a new The Room, I would LOVE to see a ‘jungle exploration’ level or levels. Anyways, this is a FANTASTIC game with incredibly smooth controls and gorgeous graphics. Thank you to the developers for such an amazing experience. ✓ Brilliant mechanism puzzlesLoved this app! It’s a bit dark, a bit creepy, a bit off balance, and full of puzzles. The graphics are brilliant- loved all the ye olde brass and wood objects with secret locking mechanisms. It was so attractive to the eye I started looking up early mechanical inventions. And all the other early tech! So fascinating and aesthetically pleasing. I definitely recommend this series, especially if you like rusty lake’s cube escape (if comparisons are useful) or dark puzzles. But did I mention how pretty it is? ✓ Great game!!I love mystery & solving little puzzles. It’s like a virtual escape room. Great challenging puzzles with hints if you get stuck so you are never fully stuck. You also have the option to see the hints or choose not to simply by not clicking on the symbol so your thought process is never spoiled. The eery sound effects & environment of each stage kept me on edge but there’s no jump scares or anything so it’s not too scary. This game had the right amount of eeriness to keep me aware & the right amount of challenge & complexity to keep me engage.. & having the option to use the hints kept me from giving up from getting stuck! ✓ The Room 2The steam punk/science/mysticism design of this game really engaged me. There are some wonderful activities and mind-bending challenges. Really enjoyed the tasks requiring shooting crossbow bolts, taking photos, redirecting lasers etc, as well as the ball mazes etc. Found it a bit frustrating having to zoom in and out continually, but I guess it’s not easy to program any other way. ✓ AmazingPlayed through the whole game in one sitting and have to say it was amazing I had a few problems though I wish there was more to the game I thought it was too short and plus I had never played the first game because it is payed (I just happened to have Apple Arcade for this one) so I had no idea what was happening you should put in a little cutscene or note that explains what happened in the first game or you could put the first game on Apple Arcade as well. ✓ A must play puzzle gameI highly recommend this to people who like point-and-click puzzle games. While the market for these games has been oversaturated over time there are still some true gems like the room. 3D point-and-click puzzles are the best of the bunch, utilizing the ability to rotate objects in 3D space makes for very unique puzzle mechanics. As for the challenge I’d give it a 5/10. The puzzles are easy enough to prevent you from getting frustrated, but are challenging enough to make you feel rewarded. The hint system is also well done. They are more subtle. They start out by pointing you in the right direction, and if you’re still having trouble the hints get less subtle. The only problem I have is that the story was a pretty hard to follow. Even that said the gameplay alone deserves 5 stars..Version: 1.0

✓ Great game!I’ve played other “escape room” type games, and they can often get super frustrating with vague hints and unintuitive steps. This game blew all those out of the water! There are plenty of hints that guide you while still maintaining the mystery, and there aren’t any random, impossible codes to memorize or solve for. They steps are logical and keep advancing the story so it didn’t feel tedious and I wanted to keep coming back to it. The easy controls, and detailed animation piqued my 8 year old’s interest, and I’ll probably play through again with him for some spooky Halloween fun! ✓ Great fun, great to pick up and put down, great to relax with…One of a minority of games that is an absolute joy to play for half an hour, or so, and then go back to another time. As a casual game player it’s so frustrating the sheer number of games that are either lazily made and a constant loop of mindless repetition or, are so stacked against you that any enjoyment is voided. The graphics are great fun, and only add to the fun playing an utterly ridiculous story - but that’s what fun is! The need to line up seemingly random lines to unlock doors is a unique experience to this writer and whilst very difficult in some cases felt to be a brilliant task. Quite happy buying the series and looking forward to the next one; if only more games firms took the obvious care these programmers have - well done. Oh, and by the way, the author isn’t bunking lessons to play this, but instead is the other end of the age spectrum. Even the clues are just the right amount without completely giving the answer away, so you really have to think about what you need to do next. The levels get slightly harder as you go along, but so does the suspense. Once you get going you will not be able to put it down. Well done to all the team at Fireproof.
