✓ Sudden app closureThis app keeps suddenly closing on me when I'm in the middle of using it which is very annoying as I enjoy using this app very much and would love to continue use without the sudden closure.Version: 1.0.8
✓ Total waste of money, and a rip off (but fun)So the game starts out fun. I highly recommend joining the Facebook groups and discord. That being said, there is a point where basically everything becomes impossible without spending at least $200. Some have spent even more. Those little .99 charges really add up. Thé guaranteed 4 star outfits are a lie. One seldom ever gets 4 star outfits. 5 stars are impossible and once you pass certain dates, you become trapped because you basically have to own very specific pieces that are either only purchased with actual money, or are never available. So. There’s no point, also the story isn’t even finished. So, if you even make it to the end, you just waste energy on fighting with Carl, for forever. Everyone in the Facebook groups have banded tougher to basically boycott it. Godspeed.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Not fun anymore without constantly spendingWhen I first started this game a few months ago, I really enjoyed it. Great gameplay and great people to connect with. I cant say that now. The people are still great but the game is not!! The storyline is not advancing. Unless you spend a LOT of money you can’t advance. There is always something new you have to have just to keep up. The devs are creating individual events every few weeks that cost more than what they are worth. Instead of this they should be advancing the storyline and making the game enjoyable again for those of us who don’t have hundreds and hundreds of dollars to spend!!!!.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Losing interest quickThe pay to advance just gets worse with each chapter, which is really frustrating. I shouldn’t have to wait several days just to gain enough energy to finish a chapter, fighting a boss is understandable but just a chapter seems a bit ridiculous. I also feel like there is just too much going on with All of the contests and challenges and special events, by the time you earn enough to gain something from them they end. The story is ok but not great enough to constantly spend money on. ✓ More cons than pros.I actually really enjoy this game. It is the perfect mix of fantasy and stories for me. I love the different varieties of contests and little activities. The wardrobe is vast and has lots of variety from modern to fantasy. Like I said I do enjoy this game and I will keep playing, however there are cons that need to be addressed. It is a money game. I feel as if the cost in the game is too high for little things. You have to have diamonds in order to do a lot of things but many necessities or rewards cost a lot of diamonds. Also, the more you progress the higher amount of energy/coins everything will take. Like a stupid high amount. If you spend all of your energy on one chapter of a story and all of your coins on leveling up 1 follower once, you can easily get stuck for days without being able to participate in contests or progress in the story. I would like to be able to tackle all of the daily tasks without the struggling in figuring out what I am actually able to participate in. Stories? Contests? Followers? Rose Mall? ✓ But…First off, ads for this are 100% misleading and not true at all. I accept that though, seems to be a common theme for these games. The pros, story isn’t bad (what I’ve done so far) and graphics aren’t bad. Certain events are fun as well, like the match game. Now the cons; this is time consuming, but in the inactive play way and not in an engaging way. It takes forever to accumulate enough energy to progress in chapters which is why I am going to be deleting. There is also a lot of cringe in the characters and while I get they are supposed to be young adults, it’s a lot of just no. Also, a lot of it just doesn’t make sense. In the pvp part of it (debates) there is no rhyme or reason to who will ‘win’ and no way to level up or be more active in it. I’ve had debates where the opponents hp bar goes all the way down and mine is still full and I still lose. Similar in the dress up parts, it’ll say to use certain types of clothing to score highest if them in the scoring other ones are included. Everything seems arbitrary and that is insanely frustrating. Lastly, the design aspect. I find it hard to get the buttons to respond. And since you have to advance very high to get the quick options it is super annoying..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Wish I could give 5 starsThis game has a lot of potential. I see hundreds of girls talking back and fourth about this game in the chats and also the Facebook page. The reason I give it 2 starts is because the bosses are too powerful. From one chapter to the next you need to raise your influence like 10million!! After you just used all your resources to raise influence on the last boss. I’m on chapter 5 now and the story’s are too short. A few second of reading short game stories then RIGHT to a boss. Fix this boss influence problem so I can play the game in a timelyish manner please? I don’t want to wait 3 days just to know I’m about to have to wait 3 more… I have and will continue to spend money on this game if it gets fixed. ✓ Racist Stereotypes and Horrible SupportI’ve been playing this for almost a year and the devs and support don’t listen to any of the complaints I’ve seen either in the main chats on servers or that I’ve written myself. CALEB- Dark skinned, beautiful Black man: GIVES/PICKS COTTON on DATES. That’s so blatantly racist and it’s ignored. I complained about the racism and wasn’t acknowledged. I complained that it was acknowledged- and was again not acknowledged. Disgusting. UNDEAD BRIDE EVENT: 1 specific task will not work me. There is a task to level up followers 15x. I did that 60x (30x on day one and 30x on day 2) with 0 skull reward. I sent screenshots was told to create a youtube account and upload a video. Why would I do the job of your support? Why would I create an account on a totally separate platform to, again, not be acknowledged by the horrible shootshow that is this app, the Immortal Diaries Dev’s and the Immortal Diaries support?? Over and over again in main chats ANYONE can see the complaints. Complaints about racism, complaints about accessibility, complaints about the devs and support not caring or helping at all. Every update is just: Oh look, a prettier background but all the issues that we’ve been complaining about… Those are the same. You don’t care. No wonder you’re losing so many people. Your player turnover rate must be massive - that’s not good. Get your cards in order Devs. Get better support and why don’t actually start caring about the app you’ve developed. ✓ False AdvertisingI got this game on a whim after seeing so many ads for it. I know ads only show the best, most fun aspects of a game and they're not totally realistic. But when I started to play the actual game, I couldn't believe how ridiculously fake the ads were. The ads I kept seeing emphasized the dress-up for dates feature and a "maid" raising a "vampire princess" for her "boss." It implies the player is the maid and makes decisions about raising a vampire princess. Cool, I guess? Nope. You are forced to play a character whose story and life are already set as the clueless blonde girl who finds out she's actually a vampire and needs to claim her inheritance or something. Fine. But there's no button for "Switch Careers" like in the ad. Forget about customizing your character in any meaningful way or actually having a real say in how her life progresses outside of going on dates. At a certain point, you realize the ads are just flat out dishonest. I'm disappointed and uninstalled the game not long after getting it..Version: 1.0.9

✓ TL;DR: it’s alright, but the mechanics are badFirst things first: I do like this game, it’s not incredibly groundbreaking but is it’s a great way to pass the time. I think besides it looking a little sketchy at first it has charm and is worth a play. Now for my gripes. The interface is awfully confusing This game is incredibly hard to navigate, the tutorial is not very in-depth for all of the functions but once you figure it out you know it pretty well. You can’t choose who you flirt with This one is not a big deal, is wish it was more specific paths for love interests rather than a jumbled mess of “let’s date all of them!!!”. Not a fan, but I understand why it was made this way. Bosses, debates, and interrogation are confusing and not well planned. This is a BIG one for me. These three things do not specify how you gain these, where you can see what works best for them or how to succeed better, I think all of them are just a ploy to play the game longer. But I’ll get into specifics. Bosses: when you teach a boss your followers duel them, however there is no rhyme or reason as to which ones are the most affective against said boss. There is also no way to really recover more than one follower at a time until higher levels AND it costs diamonds (and if you refuse to buy in app purchases like me) it makes it very frustrating. Debates: similar to the bosses, I don’t know who is more affective against who, there also isn’t really a great way to win at this? Again it focuses on spending money in game which I hate, this function doesn’t really need to exist. Interrogation: this one is the least offensive out of the three, moral is gained from playing through the story, but there is really no way to track how much of it you have? This function also shouldn’t exist because it is really only a way to gain more coin, there are better ways to do this in my opinion. I HATE that I can’t purchase specific sets in game and it is up to chance. There are 3 specific sets that I LOVE and would willingly put a modest amount of IRL cash into, but you can’t do that! Sets (and most clothing items) you have to gamble for, there is no rhyme or reason, and it’s really frustrating because for me the fashion aspect of this game is the weakest by far. Doubles for clothing should be removed. Speaking of the weakest aspect in the game. Doubles are garbage. I get that at later levels you can do stuff to make your clothing better, but I’m nowhere near that level and honestly it’s a garbage function, make it so you can’t get doubles and that way your closet can be more diverse (and you have a better chance of getting the sets you like!) Queen’s Path should be a list so you can check off the ones you have instead of getting stuck. Every other list based achievement is like this, I do not understand why the queen’s path isn’t, and it’s very frustrating that it’s not. Finally: there are no witches in the story as of yet or any characters other than the carrot soup lady unlike the ads say, if you want witches, you will not find them here. ✓ Glitchy to The Point Where It Isn’t Fun AnymoreI’ve been playing the game for about two weeks and it was really fun in the beginning. But a couple of days ago it started to glitch pretty badly where items that I won or earned weren’t showing up or experience points weren’t registering. Today I got cheated out of 16 million coins in the game, when I can barely get to the next story because the difficulty has increased by so much. ✓ Great premise, greedy devsThe initial premise of the game is great. Unfortunately in order to win events/prizes/outfits you will have to spend hundreds of pounds in order to do so. When you first start playing the energy cost of the storyline (the most interesting part of the game) is relatively easy to do but once you level up it will take you days to build up the energy just to do one sub-level and then you’ll be lucky if that story level is even ready. If you have hundreds of pounds of disposable income to waste on an app then by all means download it and play. If (like most people in the current economic climate) you don’t then give it a hard pass. ✓ Good but game is based on spending money & story ends too soonThis is a vampire game where the main character is a vampire, yet the clothing items are so colorful & most of the hair colors are blonde, there’s not a lot of goth or vampiric clothing that would better suit a vampire & the only makeup with red eyes can only be unlocked with vip 13 which is only achieved by spending $200. Jeez, I’ve been playing this game since it launched but they really need to start listening to the reviews. I wouldn’t mind paying like $5 to $10 for fun gothic & vampire stuff but $200, are you kidding? Also once you’re past the first few chapters all the story line is just gone, & the game becomes really boring. After the first few chapters there is no voice acting, & then the story just stops completely with no development so you’re just fighting bosses endlessly with no story line whatsoever so it’s insanely repetitive & boring. ✓ Fun Game but…Game is really fun but… It is highly based on how much you spend to get gems. Gems help players get clothing and items needed to progress. Some you can obtain freely in gameplay but it’s just not enough. You get stuck not being able to finish aspects of the game as you watch paying members fly by you. I’m not saying it should be free to play but it needs a better balance. There is also a lot of repeat clothing just in different colors. A lot of blonde hair with no chance to change the color. The story just ends at chapter 16. There are a lot of glitches still where items just disappear. They don’t develop the story and they only focus on money grabbing events. Not to mention the customer service is absolutely terrible! ✓ Great Start….Needs Improvement ASAPThis is a great game with a solid player base…well, at least for now. With the lack of story updates yet what feels like never ending money grabbing events, the creators are slowly reducing that once enthusiastic and devoted customer base they believe they still have. With improvements, this could be an incredibly successful game. Some things that need to be fixed asap are the major Glitches, freezing, sudden log outs, and prioritize the main story and date stories over events. With those aside, there are many parts of the game that could use a closer look with expansion; such as medals, clearer guidelines for upgrading followers, rates at Rose Mall, and refreshing the various shops. You get to chapter 10 then you recycle bosses having us fight Carl and the first few bosses while not giving anymore to the storyline. ✓ Fun until just nowIt was a fun game to play, addicting almost, wonderful going through the routine of bettering your character, upgrading your followers, raising pets, collecting cool clothing. I’m giving it a 3 star rating because it was fun up until the last 3 days. This might simply be a reflection of the poor performance of my iphone but the game literally crashed every minute or so of navigating the app, so bad I couldn’t even collect rewards after five seconds of logging in. ✓ Unfinished Game/StoryI’m on same page as the other recent reviewers. I played this game for several months and was in love with the main story and dating sub-stories. It was super addicting, and, even though I rarely, if ever, give games actual money, I spent quite a bit on this game because I really liked it and felt it was worthwhile. Once I got far enough along in the game, both the main story and dating sub-stories stopped being updated. Instead, the company turned their focused entirely to timed “exclusive” events that you can’t fully accomplish without buying a lot of extras with real money. Originally, these “exclusive” events would occur once in a while, usually around holidays, but they started becoming almost weekly events; as soon as one ended, the next would begin. It’s really a shame because the original game was great - very few issues. I stopped playing months ago but have missed it, so I popped back on to see if these issues have been fixed; unfortunately, they have not. Unless you want to get pulled into an entertaining and intriguing supernatural romance story that abruptly ends in the middle of the rising action, I wouldn’t recommend this game; you will be disappointed..Version: 1.2.3
✓ It WAS a great game until the last updateWhen I started playing, this game was pretty cheap and still lots of fun. It did gradually get more expensive over the last year, but not intolerably so. Then the last update hit. The new event is insanely expensive ($100+ per set), and previously useful things like the alchemy forge and dispatch quests got nerfed into oblivion. ✓ No Bang for Your BuckI’ve easily spent two hundred dollars on this game and, for the most part, I really enjoy it. The story is compelling, the outfits are cute, and the actions are fun to do. However, everything is stupid expensive and it’s impossible to progress without an INSANE amount of energy even with spending a ton of money. Also, you can’t skip passed chapters focused on other love interests without wasting energy, even if you’re only really interested in one of them. ✓ Not worth it.The devs are getting greedy. I originally started playing for the story, but there hasn’t been any new chapters for months. Instead, they keep releasing events for new outfits and the prices keep on going up. The last one required you to spend at least £100 to get a virtual outfit. The devs must be rolling in money by now because it doesn’t matter if most of their older servers are dying off, they keep opening new servers to new players who are completely unaware of what they’re getting in to. All the game is right now is event after event of paying to get a new virtual outfit that costs more than a new real outfit would. Contest after contest that you also won’t win without spending huge amounts of money or saving all your stuff for weeks on end, getting first place just for a p2w player to dump a bunch of money and push you down, making those weeks of saving pointless. There’s no story development and as you go through it, each chapter requires more and more energy. I got to chapter 28 and it would take me at least a day of logging on to do the work/affairs and gain energy, just to pass one cut scene. Just recently they released an event that was “90%” clothes people have missed in the past. One clothing item would be released a day at “90%” off and then the next day would go up to full price. Sounds good, huh? Not when they are blatantly over pricing the full price. One dress was 4* and not part of any set, nothing special, original price was apparently 4980 diamonds. However, when you go in to the fashion shop, there’s another dress, 4* and actually part of a set (meaning it’s worth more in terms of influence and progressing in the game) but it only cost 2700 diamonds. This is a classic sales tactic to make you think you’re getting a bargain, when you’re not. All of this to basically say, steer clear. It’s not worth it. ✓ Lots of cannon fodderVampire fashion story game. But it’s not. There’s so much irrelevant stuff in this game. My biggest issue is when you spends diamonds and silver cards on clothes. You constantly get multiple duplicates of things you already own. ✓ Exponentially High Chapter CostsThis game is fun until you start advancing in influence and chapters. There is a lot of in-app purchase necessary to reach the energy and coin requirements for leveling up followers and enjoying the storyline chapters, while maintaining server rank. The developers need to find a different method for cool down times and energy costs, as the game becomes very hard to progress. You become unable to keep up with contests and others on the server, making it impossible to catch back up without spending money. Some people may be able to pay to make up for lost time, but most regular players cannot do so repeatedly. I know the easy option is a fast cash route, but long term success of a game is more profitable if it’s fanbase can actually play daily chapters and tasks, daily. Making it so players can play through chapters with reasonable resource requirements will keep players happy and willing to spend more to immerse themselves in the game..Version: 1.0.9

✓ Disappointing money grabberThis game was fun the first month. However, they are now putting out events every week that require a lot of real money. Passing dates is close to impossible because they don’t upgrade the shops with clothes that you can get without spending actual money, it takes over a month to level up. ✓ Seems Suspect!While the storyline isn’t too bad (besides the whole entire thing being repeated again, instead of moving onto the next scene), everything else seems suspect. Money…. you hardly get any, so you’ll hardly be able to level up the characters/followers. You’re better off only levelling 1 character, since there’s not enough money to do anything. And if you use real money to purchase packs, don’t expect to get much money in that either. I can’t go any further because my characters are too low in level and obviously I need money to be able to do that - I started this game last week, which should show that I haven’t gotten very far in the game. Leaderboard/Ranking… there only seems to be 1 player who ranks and receives all of the rewards (with a few others who were lucky to make 2nd to 10th place), while also having the best clothes that CANNOT be purchased or obtained anywhere else. ✓ Running into issuesI’ve enjoyed this game a lot and shamefully spent too much money on it. There are many little annoying things, like you can’t possibly progress within one lifetime without spending actual money on diamonds and stuff. Everything get increasingly more expensive. But that’s not the main issue I have. Since I upgraded to the latest iPhone, the game won’t even load. I’ve tried uninstalling and re-installing it but had no luck. If you lose to a boss, get the time reset and lose again, then you have to wait until midnight for everything to reset. ✓ SuggestionIt should be allowed for the main character to be able to “message” the guys if she wants too; and NOT when its time for it happen “in the storyline”. Also, im sick and tired of using my diamonds or the “tags” in the Rose Mall only to get the same cloths. If my character is going to “work” or on a “date” and i dont have the appropriate cloths then my score is really low. Well if you all would stop giving out the same cloths then it wouldn’t be an issue. Theres a Rose Mall and Fashion Shop that hands out the same cloths and every now and then you’ll, luck out and receive something new. ✓ Good game butThe game over all is good. The story is for the most part genuinely done, the animation isn’t obnoxious and the dress up portion is enjoyable and what I would hope for. It is still very much geared towards pay to advance and that’s why I’m giving 3 stars. It’s suppose to be a dress up based game but the “mall” aspect is really just a Russian roulette; there is no where I have found yet to just scroll through a few base collections of clothes you can buy with in game money. All of it is diamond based and passed out through lotteries paid for by gems. More gems better chances. For instance I’m trying to go on a date with one of the love interest and it requires winter clothes style. As I’m playing the game in the middle of summer/fall all the clothes given to me are one star mini skirts and crop tops. I don’t have the option to go to the mall and look for winter clothes so I can’t move forward with his date and this I can’t gain any more influence to pass the story missions. So now I’m stuck or I cough up $2-5 minimum to get the diamonds and perks to get the clothes I need. I’ll really did enjoy it and I hope it gets better soon. But the greed is high and that never bodes well in the end. You’ve got a great product here, but you charge way too much to be able to advance in this game and there is zero way to become V Queen without getting the temporary title from contests, which ultimately ends up costing people hundreds, if not thousands of real currency. ✓ Great GameThis game is fun to play and I would have given it a 5 star but the events are way to short and I have to spend way to much money to even try to get any of the outfits. It takes forever to level up and you don’t get enough energy to even finish 5 stories you get to play one and then wait 2 or 3 days to get enough to go onto the next chapter. And most of the time at Rose Mall I only get duplicate outfits, I have never really seen anything I need to finish the dates. ✓ Fun but expensive, needs balancedThe concept is great, it’s nice to have a game like this that is not just a Chinese empire theme. However the game is to unbalanced and due to this the amount of cash you have to spend just to gain progress is astronomical, the story is ok, the MC seems a bit clueless and the romance is nice they created very nice consorts. Overall it has promise, just please balance it out the boss fights should not take 24-48 hours because your followers are a constant 20-30 million experience behind. This wouldn’t be an issue if you could progress with out getting blocked by the log in task. Lastly I was completely unimpressed with the first “mr right” who just came off as “mr wrong”. ✓ Good story (sometimes disturbing), but needlessly difficult.Although my initial impression of the game was relatively positive, after more than 24hrs of play it became apparent that, though rather immersive in dialogue and story, immersion is second only to pay-to-play mechanics. The game has mostly fully voiced dialogue and a interesting enough story to engage a player’s attention for a while. However, the boss’s levels/scaling in comparison to the player is entirely ridiculous, giving the player little to no resources to scale their own “fighters” (called followers). For example I was expected to fight a boss with 16 Million HP, while my followers only amounted to 8 Million influence (essentially the total amount of damage that can be dealt). After being instructed to level up and train my followers, expending all available resources and money in the process, I only was able to increase their total influence to 11 Million, not remotely close to the boss’s 16 Million HP. This essentially forces players to purchase in-game money or other products for the hopes of satisfying the levelling system, which is ultimately never in their favour. This is quite a shame considering the fact that I personally found the story rather interesting, though I will note that there was very little choice in this game. On occasion I found the story to be quite dark considering the age rating, especially with the amount of “main character is coerced (sometimes against their will) into consuming a substance they are unfamiliar with and could potentially (and most often does) have negative side effects”. One scene I found notably graphic was when the main character was forced to consume a drug while restrained by a co-worker, this resulted in the main character experiencing symptoms horribly similar to roofie-like drugs..Version: 1.2.3

That price for a single outfit is asinine and frankly they should be ASHAMED for trying to charge that price. Now whenever I try to log in it keeps bringing up her account to “continue as Eden.” I logged out of her Fb, logged out of mine and re-logged in. ✓ Fun game but…I love this game, have played it for over a year! I love the dress up fashion aspect of it, but you end up putting a lot of real money into it to compete with others to win. That being said I had won a contest and when I didnt receive the prizes it showed that were to be rewarded to me I reached out to support and was brushed off that it was there (even after screen grabs showed that not to be the case) and that if I had questions on how to play the game I needed to reach out to other players!
