✓ Cannot recommend enough!!I never do reviews, but I had to leave one on this. It’s perfect, exactly what I had in mind when searching for an app to help. It even has rewards for completing parts of the app which is so good I feel it helps people come back to the app more. It helps so well, like I’m talking to a friend. I’m sure there’s no ads, and they don’t shove the idea of a subscription down your throat either like most apps like this. May be my favourite mindfulness app. Thankyou.Version: 1.9.0

✗ Complete rip offI was advised I would get a notification prior to being charged for the app so I could unsubscribe if I wasn’t finding it helpful. No notification was provided. I am now $130 out of pocket and cannot afford food for the next week til I get paid. Avoid at all costs..Version: 1.43.1
✗ App requires paid subscription to use, not actually ‘free’I downloaded the app after getting a few targeted ads that Ahead is like Duolingo for Emotional Intelligence. This sounded super exciting to me. This marketing was a ploy though as it is not like Duolingo at all. Duolingo offers the full app experience for free and offers a paid subscription to enhance your features. There is no way to use this app without paying for the subscription. The developers say because they offer a ‘7-day’ free trial period that it qualifies as a free app, but this is disingenuous as you have to put in your credit card information right away and if you cancel during the 7-day free period, you immediately lose access, this means they banking on you forgetting to cancel the subscription in time. I would not recommend downloading until a truly free version is available. In terms of the activities, I did them during the free trial period and many of the questions they ask you at the beginning of each activity force you to answer in a specific way. For example, it will ask you ‘Have you ever avoided doing an activity because it made you too anxious?’ And the only choices will be ‘sometimes’ or ‘all the time’. No option for ‘does not apply to me’ and so the app ends up ‘learning’ incorrect information about you, which it says it uses to build your learning path. Overall, I would not recommend and I feel tricked by the marketing for this app.Version: 1.43.1
