✓ BugWhen I play Chess Sprint, for some pieces like the Knight, once you collect 20 orbs, even though there are 45 on the level, it says you collected all orbs. Meanwhile, for the King and Pawn, when you collect absolutely every orb on the map (a very small map, mind you), it says you only collected 1/4 of the orbs on the map..Version: 2.0.0
✓ ChildishEvery graphic / effect / chessbord etc. is aim for very young childreen. This is of course ok but they should say it upfront that this is an app fir kids..Version: 1.1.6
✓ Won’t openI just get the blue screen with the logo for about 10 seconds, then it closes and sends me back to the homescreen..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Magnus Trainer app - repackagedLove the way it is organized and much better than the Magnus Trainer app that it is repackaged from. The reason for the 1 star review is what do all the folks (like me) who have subscribed to the earlier suite do now that this relatively lower priced version is made available. Disappointed with Team Magnus that they did not explain their plan to the current set of paying subscribers..Version: 1.1.3
✓ Could be great but buggyI can’t get 3 stars on the King sprint - it’s saying there are 2 orbs left but I’m seeing zero left. Having tried it about 30 times I’m done. I was thinking of subscribing but if they trial section isn’t even right yet then no money yet - sorry guys. Nice design but please get it tested more and make the subscription models clearer. I’m not sure if however many coins is going to give me infinite play or not. Needs to be more transparent..Version: 1.1.11
✓ Lost all progressWith this last major update I have lost all my progress through this app. I had gone through beginner, intermediate and was part way through hard and now it’s all gone. That’s the a big thing To miss off in QA!.Version: 1.0.4

✓ BuggyWhat a shame. The content in the app is really good. But then when an update comes out you lose all progress and cannot jump back to where you were. Then I deleted the app and downloaded the most recent version in case that would help. But now I can’t even start one of the courses. The app just hangs at the get started button..Version: 1.0.6

✓ Scammy pay to play - avoidThe trial isn’t a trial - you don’t get any coins for a week. So the three day trial does nothing. On Sign up you get additional coins - but they never come. Purchased extra coins and they appeared but then quickly disappeared too. Have reached out to support already as they can restore them, but it doesn’t seem right. You can’t skip over concepts you know such as what each piece does. This forces you to do the unneeded lessons and spend coins. Pretty shady tactics, not sure how this was approved to be honest, let alone promoted by Apple..Version: 1.1.9
✓ Buggy; unresponsive development teamI was really enjoying this app until it stopped letting me advance to the next lesson despite completing the previous lessons. Tried deleting and reinstalling. Emailed support but did not receive a response. No trouble charging my credit card each month, though. That software seems to work fine..Version: 1.1.8
✓ Does not sync across devices.I purchased monthly on my iPad and later launched in iPhone and it lost all credits. Before a flight I purchased 50 tokens ($4) and worked fine on flight. Launched iPad to play with larger screen and took back to 2 tokens. So launched phone and same. So I lost $4 and have to cancel monthly. I also have purchased and played through level 6 of magnus as a child since that is the only thing you can do on a plan. So I lost all that progress and coins..Version: 1.1.3

✓ All my progress and coins gone !!!So I was logging as a “guest” everyday and it was keeping my progress then bought 50 coins and still everything was ok. I decided to sign up. Still worked with my progress and coins transferred and all good. Then today when I login it shows me as a fresh subscriber with all my purchased coins gone !!! 🤔.Version: 1.1.11
✓ Clunky and Cheats, proper monkey showDisappointing chess platform very clunky and glitchy does not work well Very ironic that the Grandmaster who opposing cheating so much has a platform flooded by people using bots and Stockfish etc Usual monkey show.Version: 1.1.10
✓ Quality App, Awful monetization.So I’ve finished all the ‘free’ content I could access and the app is definitely polished. The only issue I ran into was that the actual ‘game’ mode didn’t actually end when checkmate occurred. That said, the cost is beyond excessive. You get a small set of coins to start that can unlock anything, but each thing you unlock is extremely small. Just one small lesson (think 30 seconds of content) is a coin, and buying more coins is more expensive than entire books on chess that will cover the entire game. So, great job on the app, but in general, save your money and go buy a book..Version: 1.0.6
✓ New Price System Should Have Been AnnouncedPaid about 20 dollars for the premium content when it was on a coin system. Would have been better if those who already paid got to keep purchased lessons.Version: 2.0.0
