Pokémon Sleep for Positive User Reviews

Keep turning it off in middle of the nightI love the app it’s really cute and I love the inclusion of more than just gen 1 Pokémon I’m so happy to see more diversity in the options and not to mention the professor is adorable and so is the whole art style of the game and I like that there is some stuff you can participate in while awake too that’s a nice touch and it’s a great app defenitly but I do have some complaints Since you can’t turn your phone off while using it that means that the app will turn rgjjt back on if you tap the screen and you also need to have in on your mattress next to you to work so the issue I’ve been having is that I the middle of the night I will accidentally press the screen in my sleep and that will turn off the app and end the tracking resulting in inaccurate sleep results and I’ve also tried setting an alarm with it but because I accidentally turned it off at 2:00 am in my sleep the alarm didn’t go off and I woke up late so my mom had to get me up but I could see this being a problem in the future a single thing such as you have to hold the screen for 3 seconds to end the sleep tracking or just you can turn your phone off while it tracks woild easily solve this problem and I sincerely hope they do fix it so i can get accurate results and the alarm to actually work..Version: 1.0.4

Great potential for lasting gameplayPokemon Sleep has a great concept to track sleep in a way that rewards users by gaining helper pokemon, completing a sleep-style Pokédex, and feeding snorlax and helper pokemon along the way. The downside to the algorithm is that gameplay does not allow for people who work different shifts (ex. Night shifts or 24hour shifts) to benefit as much as individuals who have a traditional work schedule during the day to progress through the game (risk to damaging sleep score / sleep consistency as your bedtime may not align with the developer’s ideal sleep schedule). I use the pokeball plus+ device to track sleep but I have used the smartphone to track sleep. One suggestion would be to have a “grace period” for accidental knocking the phone or pokeball plus+ device off the bed during sleep or accidental turning off the sleep tracker. If you go to bed on time but due to rolling over in your sleep you deactivate the tracker, it would be helpful to the user to be able to reactivate it within a couple mins without it taking away from the data collected. Otherwise you’ll end up with 2 separate sleep sessions with lower scores..Version: 1.2.0

It’s fun butFor a game that you have to start up right before going to sleep, it’s way too bright. Why are the loading screens *white*? It messes with your circadian rhythm. The game needs to have a night mode with dark colours and low blue light. Edit: It was probably a coincidence, but kudos to the devs for changing the loading screens to a dark colour right after my review. I will raise my review to four stars, eagerly anticipating a full “nighttime” mode. It’s a cute game..Version: 1.0.6

Poor Decisions and Odd FeaturesFirst off, the game will just decide to disable your microphone access with no way to re-enable it in settings. Believe me, I tried, and after being up until 1:00 AM just trying to figure the stupid thing out, I ended up deleting the stupid app and redownloading it, only for it to delete all my data because some numbskull decided not to put a microphone enabling setting in the settings app. The worst part is that the game worked fine for four straight days before this randomly happened with no warning. Another bigger issue I have, aside from the general gameplay being fairly boring, is that this game made to be your sleep companion has absolutely zero issue with flashbanging you with a pure white loading screen whenever it’s necessary. Why? Heck if I know. In fact, bright lights like that are scientifically proven to WORSEN your sleep by making it more difficult to fall asleep after seeing those lights. You would think this wouldn’t be an issue with the app, given that it’s a sleep based app. However, no. This happens multiple times per sign-in, and you will have this display before bed every night you choose to use it. On top of that, if you sleep on a small bed, good luck finding a place to put your phone..Version: 1.0.5

Cute Game But Minor BugsI REALLY love this game! I’ve been playing it for almost 2 weeks now and I love the feeling of waking up to see what Pokémon I have found hoping there’s a shiny one. My phone never overheats and neither does my charger thanks to the game dimming the screen or basically putting it in some kind of sleep mode. I’ve see reviews on phones overheating but we move in our sleep so you may have slept on it. Anyways, I do find it nice that there is a game that can track your sleep without paying like certain apps and I can get some feedback and some funny little recordings here and there. With the actual game though, if you take a nap and then go to bed that same day, it will not let you at all because you’ve already slept. I would love to where it let you take naps and also sleep at the same time. But also, I’ve only encountered this once but there was one time I slept from 11pm-10am and when I went to go review my data, it said there was nothing to be reviewed and I lost all that data and Pokemon I could’ve possibly encountered. But it has only happened once. If it occurs more than 3 times, I’m giving my rating a four star. But if you’re reading this please fix the sleep only once a day feature. It can make more people play during the day when taking naps and instead of just playing it at night..Version: 1.0.5

AmazingThe sleep tracking works really well and most bad reviews about poor sleep tracking mostly probably come from people who are trying to cheat the app but having it think they are sleeping when they are not, the designs of the Pokémon are adorable and the game has perfect performance 10/10, it’s a shame a lot of people sleep on it. 😂.Version: 1.0.5

ZzZ Gotta Zz Catch ‘em zZ All zzZFun game for Pokémon fans and kids Has several issues atm but it’s just been released so it’s expected The premium pass is ridiculously overpriced for what you get but you can definitely play free without it and not fall behind Hopefully they add more mechanics and Pokémon in the future it has a lot of potential Helped me fix my sleep schedule and maintain a normal bedtime As for the Pokémon go plus plus you don’t need it to play, it’s decent addition and has cool features that you can unlock like alarm sounds, bedtime lullabies and sounds alerts by pikachu telling you it’s time for bed also you can link it to Pokémon go for extra candies and points with sleep. Things that would improve the game Making the premium pass cheaper Adding more Pokémon and doing events for special pokemon Making the app more stable as it’s crashes on occasion..Version: 1.0.4

Very simple but fun!Been playing for about 2 weeks now and it’s very fun making meals and getting new Pokémon through sleep, it’s a very passive game so if you’re looking for something you don’t need to spend a lot of time on this is for you. Some people say that the phone gets too hot at night but I have a newer phone and it’s not even warm in the morning. Honestly a great game I hope they keep updating and patching as it continues :).Version: 1.0.5

Whatever you do!DON’T TIME TRAVEL!!! Tried it for the first event and it took a very long time to get it back to normal, it wasn’t playable for a day..Version: 1.0.15

BestDon’t care what anyone says, best game ever!.Version: 1.0.5

This game is amazingI really love playing this game and it is overall amazing. I’ve watched many videos covering it and they were very enjoyable to watch. I hope pokemon continues to update this game and add new Pokémon and features. This game makes me look forward to sleeping. Overall this is a good game and you should play it..Version: 1.0.0

Really quite amazing and funPokémon Sleep has really helped me to keep a healthy sleep schedule. I am an autistic kid who struggles with healthy habits, and I used to get about 4-5 hours of sleep each night. With Pokémon Sleep, I am motivated to get more sleep each night! For me, the tracking system works very well and helps me learn more about my sleep patterns. It also has music, and I need some noise to help me fall asleep. I am happy with all the features to play with in the morning, even though it is called Pokémon Sleep! Pokémon Sleep is very helpful, and it only just released. I am excited for many updates to come! What I would recommend for future updates: For there to be a shorter minimum, about maybe 50 minutes, because what if you are just taking a quick nap or if you want to sleep a little bit longer after you wake up, but not for long. And I know there are already sleep tips, but can they appear more often and are based on your sleep data? Those are the things I would like in the next update. Anyway, 5 stars for Pokémon Sleep!.Version: 1.0.4

Es una buena aplicaciónEs una buena aplicación.Version: 1.1.0

BugGame is great, but there are some QOL things that would be nice to fix. The system to add in sleep after you woke up is rough, as you have to slowly change it from the time it is to the time you went to sleep. You can’t even change the “time I went to sleep” to the day before (if you do it too late in the current day) without it saying “you can’t add sleep times for more than 12 hours” so you have to move the time you woke up and then the time you fell asleep and then there’s this strange bug where it says “the time you said you went to sleep is after the time that you said you woke up” even if it’s like 9:58 pm the previous day and I said I woke up at 9:45 am (yes I made sure that am and pm was right and it would be a different error otherwise). I don’t think the clock system is operating correctly in this aspect. Great game but would like this part to be fixed, I don’t always remember to turn Pokémon sleep on before I go to sleep and the menu being not great in terms of entering and buggy unfortunate..Version: 1.0.3

It is a cute game first, sleep tracker second. Stop complaining.People just do not get it. This is a Tamagochi style game with a sleep tracker to get points. Stop complaining about the lack of compatibility with Apple Watch or FitBit. If you have one, use a proper sleep tracker! This is a cute game and bot intended to diagnose or be used as medical device. Also, Nintendo has always been about Nintendo, just like Apple has always been about Apple, so why would they make it compatible to other devices if they can have one of their own? Nintendo Go+ Plus is the name. This is almost asking for an Apple Watch to be compatible with a Samsung Galaxy. Cmon people. And about the fire hazard issue: Have you noticed that the screen turns off when the screen is put down? Probably not, right? And for instance how many fires have you ever seen starting from a charging cellphone in your life? Millions? No, wait... Thousands? Maybe some hundreds???... Let me answer it for you: the number tends to be ZERO or a super rare occurrence that happens on older low quality brands phones that probably you heard from a friend of a friend who had an issue or that you saw on local news special report about that 1 in a billion incidence case, so stop overreacting, millenials. Damn it..Version: 1.0.4

AwesomeWonderful game, but hope the relaxing sounds can have more styles.Version: 1.0.2

IlyI don’t get why people are hating on this game, it works. If it doesn’t work, then obviously you’re either doing something wrong, or there’s an update with the game. If there’s no update and it’s STILL wrong, try keeping your device ON and make sure it has enough battery to go through the night/ keep it plugged in. I love the game so much and really helps, even if it’s wrong about what your sleeping type is, which 50% times isn’t. I love it..Version: 1.0.5

Pokémon’s sleep saved my lifeAfter downloading Pokémon sleep, I now look forward to waking up in the morning. Before downloading this game, I would dread getting out of bed because of the looming thoughts in my head taking over. Sometimes I thought about the impeding doom of my future and how my own mortality restrains my endless hopes and dreams. That has all downloading since downloading Pokémon sleep. Call me Ginuwine but my whole life has changed since downloading this godsend of a game. I am so in love with every aspect of it and I recommend anyone to download it. Game Freak, thank you so much for finally producing a game that has clear effort, time and heart put into it..Version: 1.0.5

Calm and relaxing 😌It’s something you could do along with sleeping. Tracking is not as good as the apple watch but you can get joy in seeing pokemon in the morning..Version: 1.0.1

The only thingThis is the only thing that can actually force me to sleep. They is Pokémon and I love it. and more than to sleep. actually a game too so it’s really cool. It not just sleep. is also a game. But I want is more updates..Version: 1.0.13

No background play for musicLove this game, just please add background play for music so I can listen to Spotify while I sleep.Version: 1.0.4

I enjoy itI track my sleep on my watch anyway so I didn’t really need a sleep tracker but I still play this everyday and have for almost 3 months. While yes a lot of stuff is expensive, it actually encourages me to use the f2p stuff like sleep points rather than spending money. On other mobile games I have a habit of thinking it’s only a little money but then I end up racking up a larger bill. I don’t think it deserves some of the reviews it has, it runs very well on my iPhone 15. I’m looking forward to the Halloween event next week 😊.Version: 1.0.11

Pretty goodMy sleep schedule was terrible until i got this non-game game. it’s definitely an interesting sleep tracker. don’t pay for the premium pass, it doesn’t do anything. would recommend using the pokemon go plus+ if you dont want to wreak havoc on your phone battery, but that’s a bit expensive as well..Version: 1.0.4

It’s great once you get it to workThis is one of the few Pokémon games I’ll use on a regular basis. Unfortunately most Samsungs especially the galaxy’s aren’t compatible with this app, as they don’t have a gyroscope sensor.Version: 1.0.2

This is a great appI’ve been playing for over a hundred sessions now and I have had next to no bugs!! It’s crashed once or twice but it’s worked very well.Version: 1.0.15

Not too bad improvements are needed. This app is probably only worth it if you own the Pokémon Go Plus+ which I do. It’s very 50/50 at times it can say “It didn’t detect your sleep” but will say different on the Pokémon go app itself. Night of 25th July It said failure to detect sleep, while Pokémon go said “Nice! You got 6Hrs Sleep last night!.” Part from that issue it’s pretty fun! Just only if you really want to drop £50 on the Plus+, instead of leaving your phone unlocked all night!.Version: 1.0.3

Great motivation to sleep moreHonestly, it’s made me go to bed earlier and more consistently. Pretty fun game that has the added bonus of tracking your sleep. Very cozy game with fantastic devs who listen and create events etc. If you are on the fence I would recommend you give it a try..Version: 1.0.15

Great game but I suspect a flaw.Great start to this really cute and fun idea for a game. I love the concept. The art style is adorable and everything runs smoothly. I really wish that it had the compatability to receive sleep data from an Apple Watch because I’d much rather wear my Apple Watch to sleep than have my phone by my head. So, since this is based on basically the quality of your sleep and duration, people who have narcolepsy like myself may never be able to fully enjoy the game and all of its Pokémon. I know I personally will NEVER hit 8.5 hours of sleep therefore I will never reach 100 points a night. It’s one thing to be a short sleeper, but even short sleepers can have better quality sleep, meaning more time in slumbering mode. I will NEVER be able to befriend any of the slumbering type Pokémon associated with deep sleep because I will never have that be the majority of my nights sleep type. It’s just the way it is for me with narcolepsy. This makes me sad and also a little frustrated because it’s not fair really. This probably wasn’t even thought of during the development process..Version: 1.0.1

People being too harsh butIt’s cute, free to play, I haven’t spent a penny and I’m doing a good job. Premium too expensive I would purchase if it wasn’t so much tbh. It’s a cute little idle game basically, if you do your 3 meals a day in game and level up your mon when you can, you do alright! It’s not too exciting yet but I imagine that will come with time. For a game that you only open 4 times a day, it’s cute and plays well. My info has been ok too so I’m not sure why it’s messing up other peoples. Lots of work to do but the potential is lovely!.Version: 1.0.3

More Friend InteractionsGetting a candy from your friends daily report is nice, and the gifts from levelling friendship is cool, but I wish there was more ways to interact with friends through the app? Being able to send a Pokémon to a friends camp for a few hours, even if I only receive dream shards or EXP in exchange, while they receive berries or ingredients after my Pokémon returns would be fun..Version: 1.0.8

Pretty good gameIm really not sure where the bad reviews are coming from, but for me, it’s actually really good! It does recommend to charge while using if your battery is low, but that can cause phones to overheat, so I would recommend charging it beforehand and flipping you phone so the screen is out of sight. It does use up 40-50% depending on phone type(I think). But overall, it’s a really good game to encourage sleep!.Version: 1.0.11

Good gameEasy to play, relaxing and joying.Version: 1.0.1

Good game with one huge flawI love this game but I cant use it anymore because of the ridiculous animations. Whenever I try and put this app on before I go to sleep I have to watch about 3 minutes worth of un-skippable animations which all have extremely bright white or green backgrounds. By the time I have collected all the berries, cooked and put the app to sleep i’m no longer tired as I’ve had a bright light in my face for the past couple minutes and I have had to sit through impossibly slow and repetitive animations. Please make a dark mode for the game and make the level up and cooking animations skippable..Version: 1.0.8

Pretty good game, fun for a quick check after the morningCool to see the pokemon you get after you wake up. Progression is a bit slow but personally I like it, calm and relaxing..Version: 1.0.2

Perfect! As an autistic person who has a lot of trouble getting motivation to go to sleep on time AS WELL AS get a good amount of sleep in general this game has already helped me so much only a few nights in, i love it so much and i’ve already gone from going to bed from 5-7am and waking up at 2-5pm to going to sleep from 12-3am and waking up at 10am-1pm. May not sound like much but i’m not even a week in and it’s helped me progress that much. I figured that it would drain battery percentage as well, as I normally go to sleep with my phone on a lower percentage and charge it up to 100% overnight. However, I leave the app open all night and wake up with my phone at 100% as usual! I love all the features and thinks you can do in this game but I especially love the bedtime stamp card feature! And the fact that it works weekly. I can wean myself into an earlier sleeping time hour by hour till i’m perfectly in schedule to get a good night’s rest! Thank you so much pokémon team! :) P.S. I don’t use the premium version, and it still works amazingly. I think that alone is worth admiration..Version: 1.0.3

Good but grindyFun little sleep companion! Nothing serious, just hop on and grow a snorlax and catch some pokemon! Does take a while to level up pokemon and earning points and diamonds is slow without paying! The premium pass is far too expensive for what it is, but overall the app is enough for what I like, just a little sleep companion to have while you sleep and something to wake up to before the day starts.Version: 1.0.5

Everyone who complains about this game isn’t a Pokémon fanThis game is just amazing if you have sleep problems don’t download it it’s literally called Pokémon Sleep how dumb are you to not be able to understand Pokémon sleep if you have sleeping problems don’t download it simples there is literally another version of this called Pokémon rush you literally brush your teeth you know this game is just amazing and you literally sleep that’s how the game works.Version: 1.0.3

Great sleep trackerThis is a fun way to track your sleep, and the developers do make fixes when things don’t seem to be working correctly so I’ve updated my review to reflect this..Version: 1.0.5

Unique gameSuper cool and unique concept! Easy to play with no ads etc. only thing that is concerning is having my phone on for the whole night. I dont think its great for battery health and it also adds to my screen time 😓. Wish there was a way for it to run without having phone on all night!.Version: 1.0.2

Love itThis game is great but I really would love if you fixed one bug when I woke up it was on snooze menu and I couldn’t leave so I left for 2 minutes to search up how to leave it to no avail and I lost my 8 hour sleep session so I put it in manually so I lost snack time my favourite part of the game.Version: 1.0.5

MehI want to be able to listen to my music through Bluetooth while I have the app open. I cannot sleep in silence & don’t want to listen to the apps music..Version: 1.0.3

I love Pokemon SleepOverall, the Pokemon Company has done a great job with the marketing and side project aspect of the business for a long time now. Unfortunately, GameFreak has fumbled the classic Pokemon titles with recent games like Scarlet and Violet. They have lost the allure that every Pokemon game has had since when I was a kid. Although, the last game that I felt had this same feeling was Legends Arceus. Just something about that game made me happy and excited to create a team of Pokemon. Pokemon Sleep is the first game in awhile from the company that has made me feel the same way. I love tracking my sleep and find it actually helps me to make sure that I am taking care of myself when I push too hard. I have taken some breaks but with the additions of new Pokemon, campsites, and events...I am fully invested. The grind is something I greatly enjoyed from earlier Pokemon titles I played as a kid. This game definitely has that and it has taken me since the release date to get some final evolutions for Pokemon I've had for months. The gameplay is so simple, the art style is gorgeous, and the game itself is a calming experience. If you can be disciplined enough to keep up with tracking your sleep every night with your phone plugged in, you will love this title. Please add Abra :).Version: 1.2.0

More of a fun game than a sleep trackerAt first, I thought it was a silly game. I thought it was a little weird that it can track your sleep with just your phones microphone. It tracks your “sleep” and it gives you something fun when you wake up to look at in the morning. I don’t think the sleep tracking is accurate, but it doesn’t need to be. It gets what it needs, which is when you actually fall asleep and it kind of listens to you to see if you’re snoring or moving around but these kind of differences doesn’t really change the components of the game. This is definitely more of a game than a sleep tracker and the game is actually pretty fun to get into. There are a lot of menus and options in the game so in the beginning it was a little confusing to understand how to navigate & use the game. After about a week and a half of using the game I actually really enjoy it. Going to sleep is a little more exciting and getting the full eight hours for the game and waking up to some new content is pretty nice. I wonder how long this will be addicting for but right now I absolutely love it and I’ve been using it every single night..Version: 1.0.4

Great app! But can’t listen to music :(I absolutely LOVE this app so far. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks straight now, and my only issue so far is that I can’t listen to my sleep playlist while tracking sleep for research. I have a very specific type of music to help me lower my heart rate which is very important as a person with insomnia. I don’t much care for the “relaxing sounds” provided with the app, but since the app has to be left open to track for research, I thought I might be able to just use my music subscription in the background. Sadly, every time I start the music and return to the game for sleep research, my music is unable to play in the background. Maybe if you can’t allow background apps to play music, you could offer different options for the music that plays while tracking sleep. I, personally, can’t stand music that I can tell is on loop. It reminds me of being left on hold on a phone call which makes me angry and anxious, which makes me unable to sleep. If the background music option or alternate sound options was made available, this app would immediately get 5 stars from me!.Version: 1.0.4

Fun little gameUsing the Pokémon go plus+ because I never used the third party “gotcha” watch and enjoying the little game, the accessory is works fine dosnt get hot over night and tucked up inside my pillow I havnt had a issue using the thing. The three times a day is more then enough time using the app while the main function is to play Pokémon go. Great idea just wish the rewards were a little better.Version: 1.0.2

SECOND REVIEW!!! LETS GOPretty good game tho lol.Version: 1.0.2

It’s fun but inconsistentWhen I first started playing this the sleep tracking seemed fairly consistent for the method it used but lately my sleep points became affected after it started counting the time I fell asleep as the time I started “slumbering” rather than when I started tracking and I’d lose like 2.5 hours worth of points..Version: 1.0.10

Don’t sleep on this gameWhen they first announced this game, I was a little sceptical about how it would work. Excited, sure, but sceptical too. Generally speaking I am someone who doesn’t sleep very well. I always wake up before 6, I always feel tired, my Fitbit reckons I average about 5 hours of sleep on a good week. I downloaded it because it was another opportunity to catch Pokémon, and then bought the go ++ to help save my battery at night. As soon as I bought the go ++, my sleep improved overnight (excuse the pun!). I now sleep much longer, feel much more rested in the morning and can catch better Pokémon as a result. It’s weird how incentivising sleep with Pokémon has improved my sleeping, but there we go! Download it and start sleeping now!.Version: 1.0.11

Decent game, could use improvementI’ve had Pokémon sleep for a month now, I enjoy the game/sleep tracker but there are a few things they could improve on to make it better. The shop limits for regular 1 point poke biscuits is ridiculous, we should be able to buy whatever we need if we have the points for it. I’m constantly running out, I guess I just like to collect everything. Secondly the premium pass doesn’t offer enough benefits to justify the cost. The good camp set is awesome but we only get one with the premium pass? We should be getting 2 at the very least, more is always awesome. Prices for purchasing diamonds is the highest I have ever seen across all of the Pokémon apps, I’ve spent quite a bit on Pokémon Go but the prices on Pokémon sleep are too high for far too little diamonds to justify buying any. Also it would be truly amazing if we had more poke biscuits given as rewards. Another feature that would be nice to have would be for tired Pokémon that aren’t being used often to regenerate energy while they are in the box. I hate seeing so many sad little Pokémon’s but I don’t have the means to make all of them happy without ruining my progress for the week..Version: 1.0.6

Really cuteThe game is cute & fun! Definitely needs a bit of tweaks but overall I like it..Version: 1.0.4

Fun game to regulate sleepI used to not go to bed on time but this game has motivated me to keep a consistent sleep schedule to the best of my availability. It has also remained consistently fun months after I first started, and the developers continue to add new content. Plus the art style is super cute! A really solid Pokemon game..Version: 1.2.0

Gives me something to look forward to every morning! As someone who struggles with getting up in the morning this app has helped me find a reason to wake up and go to sleep at more reasonable hours..Version: 1.0.2

Great if you like PokémonIt’s a great app if you like to collect Pokémon and find shinies, but as a sleep tracker it’s just ok. So far I haven’t had much trouble tracking my sleep data, but I know a lot of people have. Also I’ve ran into quite a lot of bugs (I know the game just came out so there’s bound to be a few… but still, this is Nintendo). Off topic but I just wish you guys cared a bit more about your consumers really. Make a game with heart next, we all are begging for you to make something that can hold up to modern standards. Maybe don’t rush your workers and give yourself more than one-two years and boom Pokémon could become a masterpiece franchise like it once was. Ah… the good old days. Also these “micro” transactions are getting so expensive my god. i’m not giving you my money that i’ve wasted my life working to get..Version: 1.0.4

Really Good, but…I really like the app, especially how it encourages me and assumingly others to sleep more as there are rewards and such. But i would really like it if there were more options for sleep music and alarm sounds as i sleep through the alarm sound it has and the sleep sounds keep me awake. If there were sounds like rain sounds and such for sleep sounds that would make the app AMAZING! And more alarm options would be great. But of course i cant expect the app to be perfect as you guys probably had a very short time to create this and it only just came out. But anyways, thanks for reading and if you guys did end up making the changes Id be SO happy! Oh and btw i love all the little details and such you guys are adding! Like its the little things i see that make me so happy! Especially the snorlax shiny. Its cool how you guys made it not a dark blue but green. And it definitely caught me off guard because i just started that game and i got a shiny snorlax!.Version: 1.0.3

Very fun! Only a few issuesI have been using Pokémon sleep for a little while now and I think it’s pretty fun, not only does it help fix your sleep schedule and gives you something to think about when you wake up besides work or school, but it’s very fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment each night. I do have a few issues, first of all, you have to have your phone on your bed turned on all night, this means you will have to connect it to a charger that will reach your bed. The capture system is also a little weird. You have to use biscuits to capture the Pokémon you see after you wake up, but the issue is the biscuit system isn’t really explained well, sometimes it may only take 1 biscuit, sometimes it might take 3, which is annoying as gems are kinda hard to get. I do like the cooking mechanic, but for a game specifically designed for sleeping I don’t see why the only way to encounter new poke mon should be feeding the Snorlax during the middle of the day. The sleep data can be inaccurate sometimes as the app might turn off whilst you sleep or the phone runs out of battery, making you lose possibly hours of data. Overall, I like the game a lot, but I feel like there should be some improvements to the way you earn gems, and gain levels for the Snorlax, as right now the only way to level up the Snorlax is to play during the day, which I don’t like for a sleep game. You should get the game if your looking to improve your sleep or just really like Pokémon..Version: 1.0.5

The alarm….Absolutely loving the app, it’s really made me try and sleep better, suffering with hypersomnia and insomnia on a regular basis, this makes it quite fun to see rewards for your good effort! My only issue with the game… is the alarm sound! Can’t change it, and if you suffer with any kind of anxiety, that alarm sound will make you come close to having a full blown panic attack each morning. Having an iPhone And because of having to keep the app open it means your regular alarm will only sound once. Need options for alarm sounds! Makes for terrible wake ups!.Version: 1.0.10

Cute game, improve the Sleep featuresLove the Pokémon! 1- Dim the screen! Use darker colors so you don’t ruin users eyes first thing in the morning. Also, make sure that the screen goes dark every single time a user is tracking sleep. I have had many many nights where my screen stayed lit all night while tracking sleep. Not good for my phone nor for my sleep. 2- Make stats more transparent after sleep. Oddly, there’s a pop up screen to tell you how much XP your Pokemon team has contributed to Snorlax while away or sleep, but nothing to tell you how much sleep XP your individual Pokémon gained. There’s a quick animation that shows a level bar increasing which is covered by a pop up screen! You can’t even see that! Be more transparent and don’t block features with other features. 3- You know the sleep tracker is not accurate most nights. Devs know this and users know this. Make it possible to adjust the sleep times. No one loses anything in this adjustment, even if people are honest or not, let us adjust! It is the worst thing ever to actually begin sleeping on time and for good hours with good intentions and utilizing what we learned from the app, just for the app to not register two or three hours of our sleep..Version: 1.0.11

Great for my sleep routineI have a really bad habit of going on my phone in bed but I think Pokémon Sleep can change that. Since I have the app on while I sleep & whenever I try to pick up my phone, a sleeping Pikachu is there reminding me it’s sleep time. I didn’t feel that bad waking up this morning. I would benefit from an Apple Watch app to make sleep data more accurate but overall, great app to use.Version: 1.1.0

PeakObviously a game about sleeping and pokemon my two favourite things is going to be the best thing ever..Version: 1.0.1

Tracks sleep and is funI’m not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. I got my Plus + and this app when it launched here in the UK. Here’s my experience. I’ve had no issues with tracking apart from the odd cat putting their paw on the button in the night 😂 That’s a cat issue, not this app lol. It doesn’t stop tracking even if I’m awake for hours or have to use the bathroom. It won’t stop tracking unless you press the button regardless of whether you’re awake. I get plenty of different Pokémon each day, I don’t know why one person keeps getting the same one, no issues here. I don’t get a new one daily granted but after two months I don’t expect to, I get a few each week. I also don’t spend anything in this app. You don’t need it. My Snorlax gets well fed and I level it up multiple times a day as well as levelling up the Pokémon that give berries. Most are now into the 20s on level through opening the app morning, afternoon and evening to collect berries, feed Snorlax and level up. No money needed. I get gifts through completing missions, my level is now 19 (I wasn’t playing multiple times a day for a couple of weeks at first). My cooking levels increase daily and you get bonuses for this. So please, have an open mind when playing and remember to check in to get berries, feed Snorlax and upgrade your Pokémon levels. It takes less than 10 minutes three times a day..Version: 1.0.8

Some bugs - but overall a fun, healthy game! This app has helped me fix my sleep, which, as a blue collar worker working 72-84 hours a week, is crucial to my physical recovery. I love waking up and cashing in my nice, long sleep to get some new pokemon and some points to get more items to make my pokemon stronger. I love this app!!.Version: 1.0.3

Health data and Apple WatchThe design is cute and I really like it, but the way to detect the sleep cycle is dangerous (changing the phone whole night and put on the bed, no one can guarantee nothing cover the phone whole night as we all fall asleep in bed), it would be great to connect the Apple Watch and share Health data with the app.Version: 1.0.1

Has some bugs but it is greatThis game I’ve seen many reviews myself and so far I’ve seen lots of this game is buggy which is true, this game is annoying which can be true, or this game is a fire hazard which is not true because if I’m remembering correctly than the person said only with your phone on your bed charging with an app running but I also use a nature sound app and yes sometimes it gets hot but nowhere close where it would need to be to light on fire. Anyways I’ve found a couple of bugs like getting kicked and needing to reload, I’ll accidentally close Pokémon sleep and I’ll lose my sleep progress but i don’t know if that’s a bug, but other than that I haven’t found a lot atleast not ones that haven’t been fixed. Great game a little boring but has definitely helped me get to sleep on time and also it’s amazing that you added shinys I just wish you would make getting evolution items easier and make any age have friends but you have to put in parents email and then they get sent an email asking if you can make friends cause for me I have half my family playing this game and someone in my family cant friend everyone Found a new bug where buttons won’t work most commonly the button to leave the general shop.Version: 1.2.0

Fun and Has potential but…It’s a funny app to play, still fresh so there are some bugs. Good track sleep in my opinion it help me a lot to recalibrate my sleep for better performance in the day after. Has a big potential this app but they have to consider more event to get candy’s and to reconsider a better reward for the subscribers. You can play even without a subscription like I do, but take’s you long time..Version: 1.0.12

Great, but some issuesI really like this app and keeping track of my sleep. It helps me stay off my phone at night and I go to bed sooner. I love being able to feed my Snorlax and raising the Pokémon I bribe into my service with Pokémon snacks. However, I have been having some issues with the app counting fewer hours than I was actually asleep for. I am a light sleeper and move around a lot in my sleep. Before the update, it would count this as light sleep, but not as me being awake, now it’s considering this time as time in which I was awake. Just this morning it said I woke up 40 minutes before my alarm even went off, I was not awake at all. In fact I snoozed my alarm several times before actually fully waking up. I would understand if it had said I woke up when my alarm went off, but 40 minutes before? The app is just too sensitive to movement and noise. When I had a short night’s sleep and I was tired, I used to make up for it by taking a nap in the middle of the day, but it’s barely worth pulling out my app to track it nowadays. The other day I took a two hour nap, but it only counted 40 minutes, even though I had plenty of time it could have counted since I’d only slept for 4 or 5 hours that day. I really love this app, but it needs some fixes to how sensitive it is. My friend who has a Pokémon go plus doesn’t report having these issues. I shouldn’t have to buy another device, like a Pokémon go plus, just to play an app and have it count my hours semi-correctly..Version: 1.0.11

Fun but inaccurateReally cool and fun but the tracking of sleep and audio recordings need to improve, no sounds during the night are recorded (unless really loud) and the sleep tracking seem to stop around 4 hours every night resulting in inaccurate readings.Version: 1.0.2

I’m getting way more sleepI’ve been using this app ever since it came out. I love Pokémon and this app makes me not dread going to sleep because I know I have something to look forward to when I wake up. Also wakening up is so much easier as it gives me the drive to get out of bed. I’ve been trying to think of ways to get myself to sleep and give me the drive to get a good night's sleep and this app has done that for me. And the reward in the morning is worth it! I get to wake up to such cute Pokémon and catch some! If you like Pokémon and find it hard to get to sleep, this app is wonderful!.Version: 1.0.3

It’s cute, but I question its tracking accuracy sometimesI downloaded it because I like pokemon, and was looking for a sleep tracker to figure out my insomnia. I enjoy all the “game” parts, as it’s light and fun, and I enjoy collecting the pokemon! However, while the sleep tracking is OK, I’m not sure how accurate it really is, at least in the 3 stages (light medium and deep sleep). There’s definitely been mornings where I forgot to tell it I’ve woken up until and hour or two later, but when I look at the tracker, it thinks I was “snoozing” during some of that time. Or, there are nights that take me an hour or two to fall asleep, but the tracker thinks I fell into deep sleep within 10 minutes of laying down. Again, I’m more just tracking when I go to bed vs wake up, and don’t necessarily want deep accurate tracking of sleep stages, nor did I expect that from a Pokémon game. But if that’s what you want, there are better apps. This is just a relaxing idle-adjacent game to wake up with or wind down before bed, and does a nice job at being exactly that..Version: 1.0.15

Made waking up from difficult to funI absolutly love this app/game! I use it with the Go Plus+ and it works great except some little crashes from time to time but it takes 2 seconds to reload the game so i don’t really mind. The app is still new and I hope it gets developped a bit more : new / more pokemons, widgets to help remind every ADHDer to go collect some berries, maybe even a way to collect berries via the apple watch. Maybe select a pokemon that will appear on the widget and by having it as our partner it could get candy over time (like in pokemon go). Anyway just brainstorming some things that I think are missing. I find it hard to grow Snorlax enough to attract new and nice pokemon / sleep style in a week without the better camp ticket. But this item cost a lot on in game currency so it’s hard to get if you don’t pay the monthly sub. Except the monthly sub is… a lot for a sleeping app meant to be use 5 min in the morning and a couple of times a day a minute at a time. I don’t mind paying a sub, I paid 18$ / month a very long time for Pocket Camp, but the sub was worth the price..Version: 1.0.5

Loving the game, but please fix this flaw.Having spent a significant amount of time exploring Pokémon Sleep, I can confidently attest to its unique appeal and innovation. The game does a stellar job in merging the captivating world of Pokémon with the indispensable act of sleeping, creating an experience that is both engaging and beneficial to one's well-being. The mechanics are well-conceived and align beautifully with the game's objective. It’s a nice calming and cute game that has a smart twist. However, there's a particular glitch that occasionally mars the experience. On waking up and attempting to conclude my sleep session via the "end sleep session" button, the game occasionally indicates that no sleep data has been found. This invariably results in a failure to log my sleep, rendering me unable to undertake sleep research for that specific day. Such technical setbacks detract from an otherwise delightful experience and I hope to see a resolution soon. In summary, Pokémon Sleep showcases a commendable fusion of gaming and health. With a few tweaks, it has the potential to be a seamless and rewarding experience for all users..Version: 1.0.4

Great app, could be better!I love this app. Ever since I got it on release day, I have been using it to track my sleep. While I don’t have too many Pokémon, I get a lot of repeats, every night it encourages me to go to bed earlier so my helper Pokémon get more energy, I get more sleep styles, and sleep points to spend in the store. I also like the meal feature and how it changes. The addition of shinies is a good feature, I got a shiny ekans recently! However, I think it would be a good idea to allow your Apple Watch and it’s better sensors to communicate with Pokémon sleep, and vice versa, so if I miss a day, my Apple Watch still would have recorded it so I could still get Pokémon. If you guys released a real sleep tracking device with all sorts of sensors like heart rate, microphone, as well as the sensors in the phone like the microphone, light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. I don’t get how other people dislike this app, I like it. No, it isn’t perfect, but it’s still pretty fun and I like incorporating it into my bedtime routines. Keep it up Niantic and Nintendo!.Version: 1.0.8

Everybody who is saying they only had 4 hours of sleep is DOINNG IT WRONGThe app works amazing. If you get it saying 4 hours it means you didn’t put the phone next to you ON your bed. The first night I tried putting it on my bedside table and it said 4 hours. Most of the 1 star reviews are from people who cannot follow simple instructions..Version: 1.0.3

It’s alrightIt’s a good app so far the only issue I’ve had with it is that it puts my sleep score lower since my cat makes noises all night and it thinks it’s me so it’s extremely hard to get different Pokémon when the game thinks I only have a single sleep type.Version: 1.0.9

Fun and non battery wastingThis game is really good because it is fun and fun fact you can turn off your phone at night and it will still track your sleep if you have to do it manually..Version: 1.0.10

Needs flexibility for shift workersI love the app! The only thing I think needs improvement is the ability to change your bedtime without having the stamp card reset. I use the app every day, but due to working nights & days, my bedtime changes every 4-5 days. So subsequently I never fill the stamp card. Please fix this, thanks!.Version: 1.0.5

The BEST GAME i have ever played!!I have genuinely never written a review for a game before.. that is how much this game has impacted my daily life. If you are thinking about getting Pokémon Sleep, definitely give it a try!! From the adorable art style, the joy I get when it’s time to feed my snorlax, to how much this game has motivated me to have a better sleep schedule (which I have struggled with for years), the game is perfect in all aspects to me. It is such a slow paced game in a way that makes it attractive to pick up every once in a while and it really is free to play unless you are genuinely a hardcore Pokémon Sleep gamer but I have not had it get in the way of ANY gameplay which is great! Also, no ads!! I am not missing out on any of the features and it’s truly a very fun and rewarding game especially when you unlock new areas to explore!! It’s a game that you can check in on once in a while and it will give you joy whenever you play. It motivates you to sleep in a cute and fun way! Seeing my sleep progress all laid out within the past month has been very rewarding. As well as my growing Pokédex collection!! I cannot stress how much joy this game has given me so I strongly recommend it!! If the creators are happening to read this… psst! I would LOVE to be able to befriend my favorite Pokémon, Dialga one day!! Thank you so much for your time and I hope I could’ve convinced anybody who was thinking about downloading Pokémon Sleep! :) -Titi.Version: 1.1.0

Update bug?I have really enjoyed this app from the moment that I got it. But ever since the recent update, the phone no longer dims when you are sleep tracking, which means that it’s on constantly, and no matter how much I lower the brightness, it is still very illuminated. besides that it has been a very fun and creative way to try to reach higher scores and catch ‘em all.Version: 1.0.4

Apple Watch supportI absolutely love this game/ app. It’s a super fun and cute way to track your sleep, and I find myself using it every night. On that note, being that we’re in the second half of 2023, there should be an Apple Watch app, with a cool feature similar to the Pokémon Go Plus + device offers Pokémon Sleep users..Version: 1.0.4

Very cute but some issuesI have been a Pokémon fan for as long as I can remember so of course when I saw there was a free app I could get I wanted to. I really enjoy this app overall, I think the different sleep types are super cute and I enjoy collecting berries and trying to get my food the extra tasty rating. But… I have been having issues as well. I’ve been using this app for about four weeks now and for some reason every single time I sleep the tracking stops at 6 hours and 2 minutes no matter how long I actually slept. There was one night I slept for 10 hours straight and was excited to have met my goal but then when I check on the app it had 6 hours of sleep and 4 hours of untracked time. I tried to go in and edit the sleep tracking to let it know I was in fact asleep but it wouldn’t allow me to change it. I’m not really sure what is causing this to happen, I don’t go to sleep at the same time every night so it’s not like my building is making weird noises and I also sometimes stay up after I set the tracker so it’s not like I naturally make a weird noise in my sleep exactly 6 hours into sleeping. Overall this isn’t much of an issue and doesn’t really impact the game much but it’s a bit annoying that I can’t change it and therefore will sometimes have 2-4 hours of untracked time every night..Version: 1.0.9

Amazing Game !! Some annoying thingsThis is probably my first time writing a review, I love this game so much !!! There are some flaws that they’ll hopefully fix in the future, but so far this game has really helped incentivize sleeping more and waking up. The only problem I really wish they would fix is the sleep calculating overlapping with the reset. Im a night owl and stay up at around 3-4 AM. Reset is at 4 AM and sometimes I sleep earlier or later than that. I either then miss sleeping tracking for the day before if I sleep after reset, or if I sleep a little earlier it will say that it is the second sleep session of the day for me if I slept after reset the night before which is super inconvenient and discouraging. I wish there was a way for me to move the reset time myself, or I could just fix my sleep schedule. I have no other issues with the game other than there could be more quality of life changes. The sleep tracking is fine for me and my phone doesn’t get too heated. I will continue playing (:.Version: 1.0.5

Good Except…I really like the app, I just wish it was possible to track sleep while listening to audio from other apps since I like to listen to an audiobook or music as I go to sleep.Version: 1.0.5

Great, but big issueApp is great so far, but one big issue I have is that if I access another app while Pokemon Sleep is open, and then go back to Pokemon Sleep, the app is completely unresponsive and I have to force close it to get it to work again. This has meant that I lose my sleep data and Pokemon to be studied, with no way to retrieve it. Please fix 😭.Version: 1.0.5

Has potentialFun app, but feels barebones atm. Could use some more fleshing out with events (game has been out for two months but has only ever had one single event, and it only lasted 3 days). Some QOL adjustments would be nice too, like requiring less taps to do something, or certain menu animations taking up 3 uninterruptible seconds (research, eating). Loading screens are also pretty long, like 2-3 seconds to open up the menu, which should almost be instant imo..Version: 1.0.7

Fun gamePokemon Sleep is fun, although it does have some issues tracking sleep (mainly showing lower times asleep, or not sleeping at all? Losing a star from me for that). Other then that the game is really fun and I am trying hard to go to bed on time. Its nice to see your sleep patterns, also you do not need to have your phone charging to play the game. Just make sure your phone is fully charged/has enough battery before you sleep..Version: 1.0.3

Pretty goodHonestly a really fun app. I already had a fairly decent sleep schedule in terms of hours but now I’m better with sleeping at relatively similar times (obviously some days are different based on if I have school or work) and I like that they updated the bedtime thing so you have 2 hours worth of wiggle room which if you time correctly can effectively act as two bedtimes. My only complaints right now after some previous updates and confirmed future ones, is how I wished the friend list had better stats like showing when someone was last active as right now it’s pretty difficult to tell without actively checking each person which obviously is time taking. Besides that I just have one other thing to say which isn’t even a complaint really, I wish there was a way to change a Pokémon’s nature as sometimes I’ll find a Pokémon with really good sun skills but their nature completely ruins it or a shiny Pokémon who’s nature just makes it not worth having on the team compared to someone else.Version: 1.0.8

I can’t cook anything!I absolutely love this app and all the cute Pokémon! This app helps me fall asleep at a set time and I’m always happy to wake up and see what Pokémon showed. I’ve had it for about a week now and during the first tutorial I was shown how to use the auto-cook, but after that tutorial every time I clicked the pot it said the dearer was unavailable. I thought that was normal, until another tutorial popped up a day or two later explaining that NOW I could cook my own food and even said that I had been only able to use the auto-cook before, even though it never let me use it. I’m supposed to be able to cook anything but every time I click on the pot it just says that the feature is unavailable. It would be great if this bug was fixed. I am losing out on a lot of Snorlax power and having to sell my ingredients because I have too many and I can’t use them. I love this game but because of that I am giving this only 4 stars. If this problem goes away, I will definitely fix my review..Version: 1.0.6
