✓ Good app, a little frustrating.Original Review: I like Colorswipes a lot. It’s very relaxing and an easy way to pass the time. However, when I go to color an area, it only lets me freely color about 50% of it before it snaps to the area being fully colored. I understand that this is to prevent people having to swipe over literally every tiny part of the screen, and to prevent having tiny areas left uncolored that you can’t find. But could it wait until I’ve freely colored like 90-95% of it before it does that? I feel like it kind of ruins the unique aspect of this app (the being able to color freely). There are lots of other coloring apps out there that you just tap to color a whole area, which is nice, but I liked that this app was different. Therefore the snapping so soon really does ruin it a little. Hope this review was helpful :) Edit: It seems like this problem has actually for the most part been fixed! Maybe it was something I did on my end, but it’s much better now. I did have another comment that I thought of recently though. Is there a way to turn off the “halfway through, watch an add to claim your prize!” thing? It really interrupts my flow and makes it a lot less relaxing! Especially on simpler coloring pages where you get halfway through much faster. Other than that, I stand by what I said earlier! ✓ Need more daily picturesI do really love this app however I do think there are not enough new daily free pictures. Other color by number has a much larger selection of daily pictures on them the selection is very limiting and I just don’t use it the way I use too then you have upgrades and I always hope you have added a lot more pictures to do but you don’t. Your other color by number app has so much more to choose from very disappointed thanks.Version: 3.6.5
✓ MisleadingAfter seeing this portrayed on Facebook with TOTALLY different pics, I downloaded it thinking I would get to do those same pics. Well, the reality is you will NOT get those pics. Instead you will get the random ones like you see here and a LOAD of religious pics. I gave this a solid 3 star rating because of the misleading on Facebook (of all places), and the amount of religious pics they have..Version: 3.11.3
✓ DisappointedI paid for the premium membership and finished all of the pictures and it states that new pictures will be out everyday with new VIP pictures also. It’s been almost a week and there’s been no new pictures. I paid almost $90.00 for an app that I’m not using. I won’t be renewing. This app has so much potential..Version: 3.3.5
✓ Appreciate More New DrawingsI have enjoyed this App more than ANY! There needs to be more new pictures PLEASEEEE!! What I love to are the sounds as your moving along, not just a vibration like most have….If possible an entirely new App for COLORSWIPES!! Simply love them.. thank you.. I LOVE COLOR SWIPES! It is totally the best coloring app ever!! However, could you take more Christmas off and add Easter , Cute Cartoon caricatures, interior and such? Seeing a lot of old ones still posted.. ✓ Good and Not GoodI’ve tried a lot of coloring apps and this is one of my favorites. It will automatically switch to the next color when a number is finished, and it also has the press and hold feature to change colors. I can choose to watch ads to get hints, or fast forward ads to keep playing. The selection of pictures is okay and seems to be getting better, with more being added. That said, there is an annoying color burst when a color/number is completed that also causes a slight pause before allowing the coloring to continue. It’s very slight, but noticeable enough to be bothersome. There is a magnifying glass symbol at the bottom of the screen to click on for hints, yet there is also a VERY IRRITATING second magnifying glass that will pop up if the program thinks you need help, when all you want is a little time to look at the picture. Sometimes this second magnifying glass even gets in the way of the coloring. Who needs that? Maybe it will be fixed, and I will give a higher rating. Thank you for reading this..Version: 1.9.3

✓ AnnoyedWhen I first downloaded this app I loved it. Now, almost every time I click on a picture it will turn black with a thing in the middle going around in a circle like it’s trying to load the ad but doesn’t load. So, I’m constantly having to close the app all the way out, go back into it and do it all over again just for it to do the same thing. It takes multiple tries to get to FINALLY color a picture. Only for it to do it again after you hit complete and try to go to the next picture. It’s VERY frustrating and a good reason to get rid of the app..Version: 2.0.5

✓ No new picturesWhat is it with the hidden object game Merge Mansions? If I wanted to play a hidden object game I would download one I liked. You have not added any new pictures for months now and I’m getting very annoyed because the Premium one I’m paying for which is over $105 Australian dollars and you are ripping me off. ✓ Was mostly enjoyable until…..I overlooked the ads that went longer than than was told. Suddenly, today there is background music playing and I can’t shut it off in the settings! This is really annoying and bringing my bi-polar into the fray. I was playing this game for relaxation… that’s definitely not happening now. ✓ Was betterWhen I first downloaded the game it was so fun. And after I updated this game I got so disappointed. The ads are way to much .every time you want to start to color there is an ad at the beginning the end then again when you start another picture. So annoying. Then when your midway of coloring your picture it stops so you can either watch a video to get more clues or continue plus the annoying clues magnet always pops up. It’s seems like they want you to pay for it and if you don’t they will bombard you with ads. Very unhappy with it. But since this is the only color Swipes game on my I Pad I can find I guess I will have to deal with..Version: 2.0.5
✓ Needs some workWhen it’s not freezing on start up and freezing throughout or it logging out randomly it’s quite a good relaxing game. Most of the pictures are pretty much the same as all the other colour by numbers and the swipe feature doesn’t often lock in so you just end up pushing the picture round the screen instead of actually colouring..Version: 1.10.3

✓ HORRIBLEZero stars. The free version is one of those that makes you watch ads for everything, including when you finish-seriously why does an ad pop up when you’re done? There’s no point! And you’d better always finish a picture in one sitting because you have to watch an ad to finish an in progress picture even though you’ve already watched one to start in the first place. I feel like you should get to color it at your leisure after one ad, it’s not relaxing to constantly watch ads. Some apps only require ads for premium content which is much more reasonable, especially since you often only have to do it once. Oh, the “prizes” are absurd because you have to watch an ad to get them, so it’s not much of a prize. Or an accomplishment. It’s an inconvenience. These expensive yearly subscriptions are absurdly expensive, so it would be nice if you had tiers of different options. You have to REALLY love an app to pay $70 a year. I just can’t enjoy it with all the ads so I’m not going to see if I can get used to the coloring effects. Also you could do with an explanation on the various options like color combo and one handed version.Version: 1.10.3
✓ Bombarding Forced AdvertsThis is a great app but your market team needs to rethink how they get people to pay. 1) $105 is a lot of money in one hit. You are better off charging a monthly subscription with a “cancel at any time” feature. Paying $105 for a year then having to wait a year to cancel is ridiculous. What….you are going to offer a refund after a week? If you know how much it is for a month ($8.75 btw) divide that by four ($2.1875 per week) or less, divide that by 7 to get a daily cost ($0.3125 per day). Come on!!!! Get real! 2) Interrupting someone halfway through a relaxing coloring session with a FORCED advert (which gives you 3 magnifying glasses) should be a CHOICE! What if I don’t want them? Make it something that people can buy if you are that desperate. 3) Removing the watermark with an advert is fine. At least it’s a choice. 4) Put the hints (magnifying glasses) into buyable bundles but please DON’T INTERRUPT THE COLORING HALFWAY THROUGH! At least put an X there so we can choose to get the hints or not. 5) VIP your app by all means but make it monthly! Bombarding people with this many adverts (and the forced one during a drawing) is rude, cheeky and makes me feel that YOUR tactic for getting sales is through enraging people into forking out that $105 out of pure frustration. ✓ Love it…. Except….When you finish your drawing it just disappears and you get sucked into a commercial. It doesn’t even give you five seconds to look at what you finished so it is really frustrating. Except for that little glitch this is a very fun and relaxing game and is actually teaching me a lot about shading and painting art. Completely fine, but for the inability to see here finished painting. Please add at least 5 to 10 seconds for us to look at our finished work before you send us to commercial. ✓ Bad execution of a great idea.I love the swiping to color instead of tapping. I like the fact that all pictures are available to color. Some apps save the best pictures for expensive subscriptions. This app would have rated a 5 except for 2 very annoying flaws. I don’t mind stopping in the middle of a picture to watch an ad. After all, the developer needs to make money. However, my iPad freezes on the third picture at the ad every time. I have to exit the app and return later to finish. The second flaw is that a lot of times when swiping, the picture moves with the swipe. I am dragging the picture around instead of coloring. ✓ New Colorswipes update and adsI love this app so much, but first of all I have a few things to say about it.. First, there's too many ads, everytime you would choose a picture to color, an ad pops up. Or when your finished coloring the pic there's an ad!! Calm down with the advertisements! Second of all, what's the point of the stories to help these homeless people??! Like example, there was a little girl that steped on a spring and her foot was really bleeding. And then a car comes and the little girl's mother comes to save her daughter. But instead the car runs over the mother and kills her! And then there's a funeral for her. Really Colorswipes? You would put something like that on your game??! I'm sorry I don't like the new update of yours, please get rid of the sad homeless people stories... Would you mind?!? Geez. I was very confused why your app icon haves to have a little girl crying! Change it back to the flowers how you always had it. Also don't have so many ads just put a very little on there. I'm not happy about this. And you guys copied the game Gardenscapes advertisements..Version: 4.3.3
✓ Mixed FeelingsThere are good things about this app. I’ve completed four pictures, and they are very pretty. I like the luminous, sparkling appearance of most of them. Also, when I am able to actually use a “swiping“ motion, I really like it. That’s relaxing. Unfortunately, several of the pictures were broken up into tiny pieces, and swiping didn’t work. I had to tap every piece, sometimes repeatedly, and that was annoying, not relaxing. The thing I liked the least was the way you interrupt halfway through a picture to announce, “Halfway there! Take a break!”I can decide for myself when I need a break, and I don’t need you to do that for me. Of course, you are not really interested in my need for a break. ✓ Strategic placement of hintsI truly love this game, best one out there IMO. HOWEVER, the placement of the hints (which I never need) and the on and off button to add more hints make it so that you easily hit them so you have to sit through an ad in the middle of coloring. It’s VERY frustrating! I’ve noticed I’m playing less and less, it’s so bad. I’ll probably stop all together soon, but it would seriously great if they moved the hint buttons!.Version: 4.3.3

✓ Great app!I love the app and the choices are endless. However, I only gave it 3 stars because I hate that there is a pop up halfway thru to see if I want to take a break or continue. If I want a break then I will just stop coloring. No need for a pop up! I also think $70 for a year is a bit much. You should just be able to pay a few bucks to disable the advertisements for other games. I don’t need unlimited hints, removed watermark, and extra pics to color. I don’t mind watching an ad to get hints if needed. Fix these issues and I will definitely give it 5 stars..Version: 1.10.3
