✓ TOO MANY ADS!!!It’s a great game and I've slowly started to get addicted to it now! It’s a simple, easy game to play whenever you’re bored for a few minutes. I have realised that every minute or so an ad pops up tho which is insane as you barely get any time to play the actual in correlation to the amount of ads you have to watch! In other games this wouldn’t be a problem for most as they charge very little to remove ads but in this game it’s £9.99 which is insane! ✓ Good Potential, HORRIBLE AdsWhen I first started playing this game i thought it was a silly little game that i can kill time with. But that changed pretty quick when it turned into an ad watching simulator. Every 10-15 seconds, or every 2-3 roads you make, an ad pops up! it’s about five seconds until a skip pops up, then five more seconds, then an app store pop up, then you can finally go back. the game “experience” is 70% ads 30% actual gameplay. This is sometimes even worse when ads struggle to load, to the point of having to completely close out and reopen the game! Normally I would just buy the no-ads, but 10 WHOLE DOLLARS! just to see no ads is an insanely high price! the way i see “no ads” is how much i would pay for the game if it weren’t free. at MOSTTTTTTT, this is a 1.99 game. if it were two dollars for zero ads i would gladly buy that! not to mention all the micro transactions in the game, there’s even more opportunities to make money. I get it’s a small development team and everything, but there are so many ways to make money other than that. The game is also pretty popular so the amount of money made from ads is astronomically higher than from buying no ads. ✓ Fun game but…It’s a fun little game with a good premise. However, the developers seem to have gone absolutely overboard with the ads. With ads popping up seemingly once every minute, the game becomes frustrating rather than relaxing. And to make it worse, the price of the ads free version is absolutely ridiculous at £8.99. I understand that the developers need to make money, but this is not the way to go about it, you can’t just brute force your cash flow by blasting your games with ads and charging insane prices to remove them, all they’ve achieved by doing this is making their game almost unplayable. I really enjoy this game it’s really relaxing to play and it’s slowly becoming part of my night time routine before I go to sleep! ✓ To be frank:To be frank, the game offers another competitor to the idle games already out there in the massive pool of them. The difference is it’s £8.99 to remove the ads which I find is too steep for what this game offers. Most games will offer to remove your ads anywhere between £2.99 to £3.99 and throw in a bundle of other bits at £5.99. The game itself is a simplistic game, which is easy enough to play. There should be nothing to infuriate the normal user. However, breaking this down further, this is an idle game which most would download for the simplicity and ability to kill time to chill out, but the ads are too often, which is the most infuriating part. Even as I write this, I have lost my onscreen keyboard several time because of the ads! I think the developers need to review this. This game is designed it feels not for the average player, but rather begs for money on a digital market, when there are so many other games that offer so much more. ✓ Graphical bugThis game is a pretty average, overall enjoyable game for when you need to kill some time, however, I'm experiencing a bug that every half a minute this white rectangle that stretches across the screen will appear (or if it's already there it moves up slightly). When it moves up, it takes the upgrades and GUI with it, moving the GUI above the graphic. It will continue doing this until it reaches the top, moving in around 5 cm increments. When it gets closer to the top it covers the GUI at the top and renders it impossible to see. When it reaches the top and eventually disappears, the upgrades do not come back and you have to close and reopen the game to get them to come back, only for it to happen a minute or so afterwards. I don't understand what this bug is but it makes it frustrating to play, rendering it impossible once the upgrades have left the screen. I hope a patch comes out because it's starting to really agitate me. Other than that, the game is great..Version: 1.83

✓ Something is wrong..So I started playing this game a couple days ago and bought $20 worth of gems and removed ads. I unlocked a lot of states and was making millions in minutes. Then when I started playing today, I noticed I wasn’t making really anything at all like I was yesterday. So I thought the game was glitched, because it didn’t seem right that I had half the US unlocked and some parts of Mexico, with it costing millions to upgrade, and not making enough to open new roads (I was making less than a thousand a second). So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, hoping it would have saved my progress. It didn’t. But not only that, when I used the “restore” button to restore any purchase I’ve made (again, removed ads and bought 2000 gems, so $30), it never worked. So now I’ve spent $30 for nothing and don’t have any progress in the game. I was enjoying the game up until then.. it seems a bit of an oversight to not have a save game feature for if you decide to delete the game and reinstall it and keep your progress. And it truly seems messed up to not give back the things I purchased.. On a side note, it doesn’t seem like there’s really any information on how to go about this game. ✓ Super fun game, has some really bad bugsThe game is super addicting and I enjoy playing it a lot, although I have some gripes about bugs and glitches. For some reason every time I play a big white rectangle blocks about 25 percent of the screen and slowly moves up the screen blocking it and taking the upgrade files with it. It eventually makes its way off the screen after about 5-10 minutes but the upgrades never return. So I end up restarting the app every 10 to 15 minutes and it gets really frustrating honestly, I could tolerate every other bug and issue with the game if this could be fixed. ✓ Surprisingly AddictiveThis is a simple game, but I can’t put it down. And yet, I can’t bring myself to rate it any higher than three stars. For a geography-based game, they make some curious choices. I understand not being able to have a separate area for small states like Delaware or Rhode Island for space reasons, but why give Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to Wisconsin and not be able to connect it directly to the lower peninsula? And the currency system is way out of whack. You go from 150 coins to upgrade your first city to 69.9 octillion coins for your last. Yes, that’s a real number — basically a 7 followed by 27 zeros!? And as many other reviews have mentioned, the ads are ridiculous! (Sorry developers, I turned on Airplane mode to keep my sanity.) Plus, I’m not sure what replay value it will have if you just start over in North America once you finish connecting all your cities. The App Store previews show Europe, which would be nice. Hopefully future versions will eventually expand the playing field! Update — with the latest update, the game now requires internet access, so no more Airplane mode. This renders the game virtually unplayable. There is no way I would pay what they are asking to get rid of ads; I would rather get rid of the game. ✓ Frustrating gameplayLike many others have said, the major issue with this game is the number and frequency of ads that keep popping up. The game is good, but only seem to be able to do 2 or 3 connections before a new ad appears. If you’re trying to create a connection across a large distance, an ad often pops up whilst you’re midway through and then it’s lost. The cost to remove ads (£8.99) seems a lot in comparison to other games and not something I (or a lot of people) would be willing to spend for no additional benefits. A good compromise would be to increase the length of time between ads but make it so you have to watch the full thing before continuing. Not to mention, an ad banner blocks the upgrade buttons at the bottom. Secondly, the gameplay is very glitchy and bugged. You cant place tons of roads because the game will find some alternate route to take, leading to weird spots of no roads. Its also possible to make roads across water by just dragging the selection a few more cities out. And, you should be able to make bridges anyways. The monetary scaling is wonky and uneven. I may be wrong but I believe some of the assets are stolen from other games, at the very least they look suspiciously similar. After you complete the map, the game asks you to "start a new country" and I assumed it would take me to a map of Europe, but no, it just starts the game all over again. There is no content in this. I understand this is a game made by a small studio, but the lack of effort is not a result of that, and the amount of ads and cost to remove them is far higher than it should be. However, they are scamming or scheming, or just blatantly don’t care. I, like many others, paid for the $10 ad remover, and it did not work! This was back in January. I didn’t leave a review because I was able to get a refund through apple support. I tried the game again after two months and bam ad after ad after ad. Thought to myself “surely they fixed the ad remover issue by now with as many complaints as I was seeing” so I came to the review and filtered by most recent before I tried purchasing it again. NOPE! Red flag, they haven’t changed a thing. Still taking peoples money and still haven’t fixed the issue. I wanted to give them a chance since they were so quick and kind in their responses, but now I don’t trust them or their games. ✓ Awesome game, impossible to enjoy.I’m all for ad supported apps but having to watch a 30 second ad every 50 seconds of playtime just makes it impossible to enjoy a game. An ad per level, an ad each time you open up a new state or even once every ten minutes might be ok but currently it makes an otherwise cool little game unplayable. From what I’ve managed to play it reminds me of mini metro and if there was an option to pay to remove ads I would gladly pay a couple of dollars for it. Surely though forcing ads on players every minute means people don’t play for very long, dialing back the ads would encourage longer play and that would equate to more ad views and more revenue. ✓ Simple fun, but way too many adsHonestly have quite a lot of fun playing this. It’s fun to figure out which strategies work best and whatnot. But I literally can’t play it anymore. The ads seem to be pretty sparse at the start but it’s exponential growth. After playing for maybe a couple hours I have one roughly every 20-30 seconds at this point. I’m spending more time watching ads than playing the game, and at $15 to remove them that’s a bit insane. As much fun as it is, I wouldn’t recommend it. Way too many ads to the point where it makes the game unplayable. Also to note, you can’t even go on airplane made to disable them, as for whatever reason (most likely to keep the ads running) you’ve gotta be connected to the internet. ✓ Don’t waste your timeSo I just downloaded this game while stuck watching it for a commercial on cube block (one of my favorite games), went to open my newest game and guess what it won’t even open let alone do anything but say loading on a pain white screen it never showed the game name when I first opened it just straight to the blank white screen saying loading, I’ve tried to close and reopen it 3-4 times and the exact same thing happened. Not something that should of happened with a new game I just downloaded you would think but definitely not a great way to start unless you want a review like this about your games. ✓ Could be a lot betterSimplistic way to kill 10 minutes here and there. Would be a higher rating apart from one this, it’s quite possibly the most frustrating thing about the whole game. There is a white bar that starts at the bottom of the screen and works it’s way up…it starts off absolutely fine, but as soon as you get the first advert, this bar appears. To remove the bar you have to close/force close the app, then restart it. It got that frustrating that I deleted the app and reinstalled. I’m doing so lost all progress so would have to start again. ✓ Literally UnplayableI actually really enjoyed this game play. It's simple and addictive. However, the onslaught of ads makes this game awful enough for me to write a review (I never write reviews). Ads pop up every 45 seconds. You can't skip them. You don't gain anything from them. I understand that developers need the ad revenue to fund their projects, but the sheer number and frequency of ads that interrupt the gameplay in this game are borderline absurd. There is already a constant ad banner at the bottom in addition to the pop-up ads, so the number of pop-up ads seems like way too much. The option to get rid of the ads costs much more than I’m willing to pay for this game. ✓ Nice premise, badly executedI like games like this, so I was disappointed when the game wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. It’s very, very slow paced. Upgrading takes so long and doesn’t seem to be that worth it from what I can see. Connecting towns is the part I like, but you have to really wait to get the money to do so because it’s so slow paced. And when you start connecting them - finally - another problem crops up. I can only connect two towns before being plagued with the same advert that you - try as you might - can’t actually skip. Sure you can press a button in the form of an arrow, giving you the illusion you can skip it, but then it moves to another phase of the advert that you can’t move past. You have to wait until it deems you worthy of being allowed to press yet more buttons to return to the game. And by that time, you’ve barely accrued any money to keep playing. My total play time was about three minutes. The final nail in the coffin was the price being asked to pay to remove adverts. ✓ Good game but WAYY too many adsI think this game is amazing! It’s a little difficult but it’s fine, if you can get through a game then it doesn’t matter if it’s difficult. ✓ Good game but some suggestionsI really enjoy this game however I tend to find frequent pop up ads quite frustrating. I completely understand the need for the company to make money and I do appreciate that ads are the main way however I think there could be better systems to implement them. I think pop up ads could still be a feature but perhaps less frequently but instead the game gives opportunities to boost income, speed or other benefits in exchange for watching an ad. I and many others would be more inclined to sit through ads, possibly even more ads than I am currently watching if it was through choice and in exchange for a reward. This is simply because the frequent involuntary ads are frustrating and distracting, if they were perhaps tuned to be less often I wouldn’t mind them and in exchange so that profit is still possible more optional ads would be great. ✓ DisasterThis “seemed” like a cute little time killer app, at first. There are major issues that need addressed ! First , I understand this is a small studio development, however the incessant ads are pervasive to say the least. So much so that the developers wrote a couple paragraphs that explain how they keep the development going on the app and even go so far as to say how annoying ads are, in the icon to remove ads. The low end quality of the app is in no way worth $9.99 to remove ads. My reason for this is the fact that there is no implementation of away earnings . Unless you have the app open and are actively playing , all earnings stop. What makes it even more pervasive with the ads, to the point I feel it’s engineered to encourage paying for ad removal, is that earnings while game is open stop every 15-20 seconds of while 30 second ads interrupt play. It’s aggressive marketing and aggressive pervasive ad placement , bordering on apple developer TOS for the platform. To be honest , ad revenue is not the only revenue available to even small studios . Try introducing a lower cost of ad removal, add in some in game content to purchase at a reasonable cost . Perhaps a coin purchase or a way to buy some keys to open additional territories . But at the current way the game runs , or fails to run from flooding of ads , I see this game , or any future apps failing to pick up momentum enough to be a success in this industry!.Version: 1.22
✓ ⚠️ Ads Purchase doesn’t work!!! ❌This is an amazing game and would be well worth it if it weren’t for the ads. Thankful, they created a solution by allowing you to make a one-time purchase to eliminate ads for good. This would be great accept that after making the purchase, the ads didn’t go away. It’s not registering in the app, even though I’ve gone through the process of re-purchasing the same ad block about 9 times (it’s free on the App Store since you’re technically buying the same exact item). Every time I do it, the text box pops up that says the purchase was successful, but the page in the app itself that advertises the ad block stays up, and when I ex out of it, I still get ads. This is so upsetting. I’ve tried everything. It’s the newest version of the app, I’ve refreshed the app, I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. I even changed the language to English (I keep my phone in Portuguese). Nothing works. ✓ Very good but…Overall it’s a very good game. Simple but entertaining. There are a couple of flaws however. Once you connect everything in the United States, Canada, and Mexico A message pops up and says you’ve connected all of the states, would you like to go to the next level. Going to the next level simply deletes all of your connections in the United States, Canada, and Mexico and starts you over. I would have thought It would open another continent as the image shows in the Apple store, however it does not… Also, if you make the mistake of selecting Alaska as you’re starting point you will never get enough keys to unlock any other area and the only option you have is to delete the app and start from scratch (an obvious oversight by the developer but easily fixed). So where are the other continents as advertised? Also you need to add in an option for clearing your map as well as and a screen for instructions. Other than that it’s great, but with a $9.99 price tag, I would NOT suggest purchasing the app until these issues are addressed. ✓ Thoughts and ideas and problem with not enough keysI think it’s a great game although when I started over I chose the one in the top left corner and I only have 5 keys now so im kinda stuck. I would love to see more upgrade options. Maybe you could implement different car types. Like a upgrade that would double the income but you can only unlock it after you get so far. Also would love to see other transport options like ships and planes maybe planes could be an upgrade from the cars. Also if you combine all the city’s in a state to make a huge capital but only have that option when you have all the possible connections made already. Also maybe add a full day cycle of the map so you can see all parts of the day and world as it turns from day to night that would be pretty neat. ✓ Didn’t get what I paid forI paid for the ad removal because I enjoyed the game. I tried to play it today and the app kept crashing. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and much to my chagrin, the ad removal that I had already purchased was gone. I tried to restore purchases, and that did not work. I then tried to re-purchase the ad removal to see if it would force it to recognize I’d already purchased it. Every time I tried to purchase it, it would give me the pop-up saying you already own this do you want to install for free? I would hit OK the app would crash. I’d open it back up and I still had ads. This is very frustrating as this is a game that I do enjoy to just relax with. I sent an email to where it said to email case of problems. Heard nothing back. ✓ Cool game but…I love idle games for whatever reason. This is a very cool one except for the fact that you have to have the game open and running to get any kind of progress. There is no offline generating, so if you’re not actively playing, you’re not getting anything. The absolute worst thing about the game is the ads. For $15 it is totally not worth upgrading to an ad free version. In short just please cut back the ads like so many other games have to create a better experience for your players, I think your app retention would significantly increase. If you aren’t willing to stop putting so many god dam ads in at least lower the price of your ad free version to a more reasonable price (3-8$ range) and I’m sure you’ll make more money as so many more people would be willing to pay that. With a few flaws with no income when running in the background, and an ad banner at the bottom of the screen where you buy upgrades. Watching all the cars drive on roads you built all over the U.S. is somehow therapeutic. The reason I gave it three stars is because of all the ads. Look back down, we got you a present, it’s an ad. Some of us don’t have reliable internet connections or are in places that require aeroplane mode. ✓ AnnoyedI got this game last year and bought the no ads, it worked at the time when I bought it and I played the game for months, until I got to Europe and the game wouldn’t let me make connections between roads anymore, I simply couldn’t progress through the game anymore so I stopped playing for a long time, I just recently decided to see if the game would work again, it did not, couldn’t make connections to roads in Europe still so I decided to delete the game and re-download it, all my old progress is gone as they done have an option to backup my save, their “restore purchases” button doesn’t work, I click on it and it makes a sound when I click the button and nothing happens, it’s like they make the button but didn’t program it to work so I don’t even want to play the game because every 5 seconds I get an ad, I’ve read other recent reviews and it seems like their scamming all their players into buying the no ads and then it not even working, fix your game!! ✓ Game ChangedAfter an update around a month or so ago, the game only plays online until you buy the ad-free version for $9.99 (which in itself is ridiculous), but other parts of the gameplay changed. When I made it to the “next level” after completing all of North America, the xp stopped and I couldn’t level up anymore. Also, I earned money much slower (I figured this was because I “leveled up” but ended up not being so). I deleted it and reinstalled thinking it would fix the xp glitch (it did), but I still earned money very slowly and have yet to make it through a quarter of the US. When I first got the game I could play offline and sit patiently for enough money to buy the next state/province. The game was addicting for me. But, again, since that one update the game is a chore and even leaving it alone for a few minutes I still have no where near enough money for anything (when before I earned more than enough). Ridiculous, a “small studio” has no excuse to make a game grindier..Version: 1.34
✓ Report the game - money scam!!I paid to remove the ads and they keep coming. I’ll be reporting the app for fraud to Apple. Edit: the developer response makes no sense. Apple should remove the game until the developer can fix the problem. Taking money while knowingly failing to address the problem is fraud. 2nd edit: now they’ve responded to say they need the ad revenue to keep the game going?! What a disappointing response given the situation. Apple needs to boot them if they’re going to take money and claim they still need ad revenue. Bizarre..Version: 1.90

✓ Do not buy the ad blockerI recently downloaded this game. I've been playing for 30 minutes in total, the amount of ads is crazy as most people have already mentioned. I decided to purchase the ad blocker and to my surprise it did not work. I've checked that the purchase has gone through (incase it glitched and didn't).. it did go through. I still receive ads as frequently as before. I'm very disappointed the ad blocker is a fake. I was already pretty much wasting $10 but I really just threw it away seeing that it doesn't work. I like this game, it is fun, but the ads are a bit much. I know the developers still need to make money in some way, and I can understand that... but the ad blocker doesn't even work. ✓ Egregiously abusive ads and ad-free priceI stopped playing mobile games a couple years ago because I got tired of the constant ads, figured it couldn’t be any worse now but boy was I wrong. Open the app, ad, tap a button, ad, wait a second, ad, it’s an idle game where progress isn’t earned by anything other than sitting around and waiting. There is no need for the sheer quantity of ads it has. Seriously, the devs have countless other games they’re no doubt filling with just as many ads, why go through so much trouble? Are you not charging advertisers enough? It’s not the players’ responsibility to keep your business afloat; after two days of moderately enjoying the gameplay, I figured I’d check how much it cost to go ad-free, fully expecting just a couple bucks. $10 is money better spent on shoelaces for Velcro shoes. There’s absolutely no valid reason for something as simple as making the game playable to be behind such a paywall, especially considering most people don’t keep the same games on their phones for longer than a week or two at most. ✓ Great concept. Needs workAs another reviewer mentioned, this is very much an idle game. You walk away, leave the app to collect your money so you can build your roads and unlock your sections. 1, would love this mechanism to be available when the game is NOT actively running. Running in the background is easier. That would significantly speed up the playing time which brings me to my second point. 2, Don’t advertise NEXT LEVEL if there isn’t one when you finish the continent. Offer a restart or put in more levels. The button is shaped like a restart but says Next Level when you click on it. 3, when a restart is available, don’t offer the 5 section area up first. Made this mistake trying to start at the top corner and work my way over and now I’m stuck. I need 10 keys to unlock the next country, but I won’t get anymore keys since there were only 5 sections. 🥲No restart button is available this time..Version: 1.22
✓ TOO. MANY. ADS.Surely you read your own reviews. Surely you can see that the MAIN reason people aren’t installing your app is because there are too many ads. These reviews give the app a low rating, and cause less people to download it. If you really want your app to succeed, then work on the one thing that is causing the majority of your losses. You don’t even need to get rid of ads altogether. If you reduce the number of unsolicited ads that appear on the screen, then you can increase the ads in other areas. For example, watching ads to earn coins or keys. This is Business 101 and it’s astounding that you can’t see it. If all of your clients are consistently complaining about one thing, and your reviews and feedback are terrible because of it, wouldn’t you want to change that so your app is more successful? Please don’t respond with your generic “thanks we’ll look into it” or “we need ads to fund the app”. Just make actual change. ✓ A wonderful experience ruined by greed.To preface, this is an incredible game. I have a lot of fun with it, and it’s pretty addictive. The production quality is solid, and it’s seemingly well optimized. However, the constant onslaught of ads does somewhat ruin the experience. I understand that as a small gaming studio, money is tight. However, the ad placement is excessive at best. Not only is there a constant ad bar at the bottom, one of your upgrades is taken up by an ad to upgrade button. On top of all that, an ad is played roughly every 30 seconds. I find it quicker to completely reboot than to wait for them. The bottom line is, this overuse of ads is unacceptable. Not to mention; a $10 fee to remove them is way too much, $5 is the maximum reasonable price i’d say. And that isn’t even to mention the fact that you literally cannot play the game offline; it says you need connection- but there are not online features.
