✓ No terrible but not a good mobile portI played this game on PC a long time ago, although difficult as its meant to be i beat the game. Fast forward to now I saw the game was on Apple Arcade and I thought it would be funny to play through it again. Welp…. No. The controls on mobile compared to pc is just sad. And I understand it’s going to be different because mobile is touch screen, but i also expected the game to actually be playable and not to just be stuck on the same spot because the hammer keeps glitching and throwing me off of where i get to. I am currently stuck in the same place which is pretty much the beginning. So Originally I would of happily giving this over the top frustrating game 5 stars due to my experience previously but this one gets 2. Players beware this trend of porting as much over to mobile devices is just a grand example of the money motivated gaming era we are in and its even more sad when they refuse to make the port a even half way decent one. ✓ Phenomenal game, awful re-portI paid for the mobile version of this game many years ago, which was excellent. 14 Pro Max new iPhone and the game ran with slightly buggy controls for a little bit, then I made the mistake of adjusting the input acceleration after like 5 minutes of playing, suddenly controls totally broken, requires deleting the app and reinstalling to fix. ✓ Great game but…As of writing this I am currently at the bucket. I am having this glitch where I literally cannot do anything because Diogenes (the guy in the cauldron) constantly tries to get on top of the bucket without me touching the screen and then pushes me off. Like pushes the side of the bucket. I can’t explain it better than that and I basically controls the hammer. I straight up can’t do anything. Also right after the cardboard boxes where you are at the stairs with the chair and camera. Right on the bottom where the stairs meet I got my hammer stuck there and the first time it glitched me out and basically restarted me (but I easily got back cuz of the amount of times I fell before that) but the second time I used the glitch to my advantage. I was in the middle of probably being sent back to the beginning and then I shut off the game and went back onto it. It got me to right before the anvil and hat. Thanks for the boost glitch Ig.. But the bucket part for me is probably near impossible because of the fact Diogenes wants the bucket instead of the cauldron. Btw I’m realizing this sounds fake but I feel like I’m the only person with this issue. I can’t find anything about it. It’s done it every time I get the hammer onto the bucket. ✓ Love This Game on PCI love this game on PC but the touchscreen controls are absolutely abysmal. I spent ages fighting with the acceleration and sensitivity but I couldn’t get it to feel right and the scaling on the sensitivity is completely dependent on the acceleration setting. Gave up after a while because it ended up not being fun. Maybe consider playing if you want to connect a controller instead, otherwise stick to the PC version..Version: 1.93
✓ Who’s bright idea was this?Okay so don't get me wrong, I loved the game on PC but the port or remake or whatever this is… is awful. Its fun, and I wont lie about that but its not made for touchscreen. The sensitivity is terrible, reloading after putting yourself “in a safe place” isn't good as most of the time your hammer will be stuck in the scenery. To fix that though is just another quick reload. But my main qualm is the touchscreen reliability. It doesn't always respond well and sometimes the hammer will go crazy and launch you off to the heavens only to realise you’ll be falling all the way back to the start. If you’ve not played this on PC, I highly recommend it on there but please stay away from this game on phones, your blood pressure will sky rocket!.Version: 1.93

✓ Completely broken controlsI straight up LOVE this game. I played the non-plus version of this game on an older iPhone, and the controls were great. The game was one of my favorites. A few years and a new account down the road, I no longer have access to it. Then this comes our and I’m like “Oh yay! More infuriating fun!” Hoo boy was I wrong. In this new Apple Arcade™️ version, the controls sre incredibly broken. Even when you put the sensitivity down to minimum and disable input acceleration, whenever you touch ANY surface with your hammer it (for some reason) applies MAXIMUM force and flings you everywhere. It’s ten times worse if you’re playing with the sensitivity anywhere sane! This is a disgrace to the game, as the normal version (as far as I can remember) doesn’t have any of these issues. ✓ ControlsIt’s a good game overall, and everything is fine, but the controls are just annoying in my opinion. When your hammer touches the ground, it instantly picks you up and moves you either up or moves you to the opposite direction. I’m not sure if that’s the same for pc, but it’s annoying. Im not able to put the hammer somewhere without it first starting to lift me up. I’ve messed up so many times because of the controls and that’s really the most frustrating part of the game honestly. Seems to be because when your hammer makes contact with a surface, he will automatically try to stand up right with the hammer, which sometimes causes him to get flung in the direction. But this version on Apple Arcade is unplayable in its current state. While the touch controls seem like they’d work in theory, in reality they ruin the game (in this version). ✓ What happened?After getting both achievements on PC and beating it a couple times on mobile, I saw this game on Apple Arcade as well. As the original mobile port had easy controls I thought that this would be a walk in the park. Instead I was met with a buggy mess of a game. The game has already been ported to mobile quite well and yet this Apple Arcade “plus” version of the game manages to degrade it. There was no feeling of control as even the slightest movement would send the hammer flying and Diogenes as well. I had praised the original game for its precise control and this version does away with it entirely. Why change the controls from the original mobile port when they were already so finely tuned? After a long twenty minutes I was able to get to the top only to find that when I tried to play again that I was met with a black stream with only the sound of the water in the beginning of the game. No inputs would do anything and the game would refuse to play. I would be fine with it if all that was added for the Apple Arcade version was the game center leaderboard but the unprompted tweaking of the already fine controls just makes this version seem cheap. I can get behind a quick buck for a indie dev but come on. If you want to play this game it would save you a lot of time to just buy the 5 dollar normal version on the AppStore or play it on PC like intended..Version: 1.93
