Steel Guitar PRO for Positive User Reviews

Ok ,how tune strings?Ok how tune each string like the second ad picture to the end here in the App Store????/.Version: 1.1

Amazing upgradeThe original was already one of the best guitar apps on iOS but this new version is one of the best apps period. The ability to trigger the pedals by tilting the iPad is worth the (low)price alone. This paired with koala is going to have me busy for a long while. S/O to the dev<3.Version: 1.0

A must have app if you use virtual guitars!I use a lot of virtual guitars in the song writing process because of neuropathy (my hands go numb after 10 minutes of playing). If you use them as well, then this app is a must have! I loved the original, but it was IAA and had no midi control. It’s got a ton of presets and a full suite of effects as well and at a $4.99 intro price, I think it’s a no-brainer! Thanks Yonac!!!!.Version: 1.0

WowI have been hoping for this ever since the first Yonac Steel Guitar app came out. This one is a masterpiece for anyone, but especially for those who love the sounds that come from Steel Guitars. The fact that is is now has an audio unit is so bloody cool. And the sounds are wonderful. And finally the price is so low that everyone can afford it. You think that for the low price, it can't be that great, BUT IS IS THAT GREAT. Thanks to Yonac for this wonderful winner of a music making masterpiece. It has everything. Sounds, effects. I can't say enough about how much I love this app..Version: 1.0

Sounds fantastic!I purchased this on my small iphone since i can’t install it on my iPad that is still running ios 13. I would really love to play this on my larger ipaf screen but i can’t upgrade that one anymore. Backwards compatibility with ios 13 would be really great if possible. I have all Yonac apps running on that ipad except for this awesome app. I can’t afford a new device. Playing on a small iphone is far from greay. Awesome app guys! Love that you can play this with midi . Rock on 🤘.Version: 1.0

Sound effectsOverall a great sounding guitar app but could you please add the sound effects when pushing buttons on the amps effects pedals.Version: 1.0

It’s incrediblePlease just give us a “virtual” fretboard such as the iFretlessBass plugin. While I appreciate the slidery thing (sorry, long time guitar player but I’ve never used one of those) I would honestly really like it if we could just play frets at different positions regardless of whether we are using a midi “plugin” or “keyboard” or whatever to control the AU. Besides, what’s wrong with “normal” guitar playing? Having both options would be great! Regardless, this fills a niche that needed to be filled. And it fills it pretty well especially for the price tag. A must but for guitar dudes..Version: 1.0

A must buy! This has always been an outstanding app but now it’s AUV it’s stunning. Not only can you create superb slide-guitar sounds (and I mean superb) you can now play the guitar sounds directly from your DAW which is something I’ve wanted to do since I got the original app. This is a MUST BUY..Version: 1.0

OutstandingI'm a pro coming from Mac OS. Sound is superb and a bargain at the price. Constructive criticism : The ability to edit the raw guitar tone would be a great asset - especially guitar vibrato lfo speed, currently it's much to fast to be usable. Apart from that it's a keeper!.Version: 1.1

Great samples butWhy doesn’t it allow pitch bending on every midi channel? Only channels 1-4 does pitch bends. So setting up more instances in AUM to use it with my mpe controller doesn’t allow me to bend the notes triggering on the high channels. Please enable pitch bends to be able to be triggered from all 16 midi channels. (I need it for at least 8 though). Then I can do more authentic guitar playing from my mpe controllers like iFretless bass..Version: 1.0

Such a great guitar tone for an AUv3 appThis app is so much fun to play and this Pro version has MIDI IN! So you don’t have to use the slide user interface or start 2 and MdI into one instance while you slide into the 2nd. Try and catch the sale because this is the best in class for a guitar sounding and slide guitar playing app. It comes with most of the Tone Stack amps and Stomps too so lots of sounds are possible. It has a recorder thrown in too. I’m a big Yonac fan and I’ve been begging for these features to be added to the excellent Steel Guitar which sounds so good I want to play it from sequencers and keyboards and now I can..Version: 1.0

Superb Sounding Guitar ModelsI haven’t had this app for long, but to my ears, the guitar models are the most realistic I have heard on iOS. The acoustic guitar especially. It would be nice to see MPE support. It would also be great to have a decent sounding banjo model(s), fretless minstrel banjo maybe? Although this instrument is not typically associated with slide guitar methods per say, the app when controlled with a midi controller (I use Linnstrument) is great for finger plucking and strumming styes. Either way, this is a great purchase and loads of fun. Thanks!.Version: 1.0

Steel Guitar ProBrilliant reincarnation of steel guitar. Heads up for saving and recalling in AUM. In the plug-in steel guitar folders name the patch and select save in AUM, you will have to select and save for every instant and load when recalling your sessions. Bit of a head scratcher but perseverance won the day..Version: 1.0

Love it.One of the few apps with amazing and wide variety of guitars. However, is it possible to add a sustain pedal option for use with keyboard? Would have had a five star rating if it did have sustain pedal option. And better keyboard after touch. Keep it up.Version: 1.1

SuperbFantastic. Interfaces with Logic Pro X beautifully..Version: 1.1

Great Guitar Sounds! One of the best sounding guitar simulators I've heard. I'm using it with a MIDI strummer app and the results are great. Built in effects pedals sound great too! I'm a guitarist who is discerning about these sounds. Thanks for the excellent work. Looking forward to seeing what the updates will bring..Version: 1.1

Quality Guitar Sounds and FXThis is just what the app store needed; a wide selection of classic guitars, and oodles of fx gear to choose from. The many tones are authentic and high quality. I'm excited to add these sounds into my productions. You may have all the synths, but have you got an app full of rich quitar tones at your fingertips? You need this app. Nohing else is as good at what it does..Version: 1.0

7 Foot pedals using Midi Learn..AmazingJust used Midi Learn to set up the 7 foot pedals…WOW it’s amazing. For those that would like this info….launch SGPro in stand-alone mode, open Settings/Midi Learn, double tap on pedal box 1 (of 7) and in the dialogue box enter a cc number, then tap set, next tap and enter a channel number or “zero” for omni (all channels), tap set again, then tap “Save as Unit Default”. Do this for all 7 pedal boxes. I used cc21 for pedal 1, cc22 for pedal2 etc. in Cubasis3 for example, I would enter a value of 127 for cc24 (pedal 4) a tiny fraction (1/32 note) after the start of the recorded strum note, or to play without a pedal - don’t enter a cc number. In settings - increasing Bend Attack adds a realistic slide to altered strings. Have fun. Sat 25 June. I stumbled across this amazing one of a kind app on YouTube (Doug from SoundTestRoom) and I absolutely agree with “DMT Cymatics” no other synth app has authentic guitar sounds like these. I already have Yonac’s first Steel Guitar app, but I can’t use it in Cubasis3, but this Pro app is the Bees Knees🏆 I can now record/manipulate and control every aspect of this guitar using Cubasis3. You won’t regret buying this….ever.Version: 1.0
