✓ Good game, but one thing kills itThis is a decent game… basically a more modern version of Epic Seven but the one thing that prevents this from being a great game is sweep tickets… the fact that these exist at all is the nail in the coffin. You should be able to sweep previously cleared stages without tickets. The battles in this game take quite a while that if you want to burn through your stamina every day, you’ll have the game on auto repeat for literally hours. No modern gacha can expect to be successful tying people’s phones up like this…. Crazy, this is 2023….Version: 1.1.0
✓ Needs more polish before even releasing this game in the first place.Yes, most of us know this game is incredibly unpolished, so many awkward movement cycles when the characters walk, sometimes attack, and just being idle. Yet my main point is the crashes, the game crashes wayy too much even on an iPhone 15. So basically, the only reason you even download this game is to just login for the free rewards. Otherwise the gameplay is too clonky for atleast a select few of people including me. Sorry mates, the “Epic 7 Sequel” isn’t gonna click for a looong while lads. ✓ Poorly OptimisedGame seems pretty cool, too bad it crashes like every 2nd battle. Give us more graphic options, and the option to flat out turn off the anime scenes that play right when you boot the game up. Would like to play, but I’m not dealing with resets every 5 minutes. 🤷♂️.Version: 1.1.12
✓ Nearly half of E7First, the need to draw duplicates of a character (events give you very little) makes it more like AFK Arena than Epic 7. But some very poor UI decisions is what has done it for me. UI issues: 1) buffs and debuffs are too small on mobile to click 2) your finger then takes up a good portion of information. 3) this causes you to click the priority timeline, which is a mess when you do 4) would be better to have this information at pause like other games and each team separated, with decent sized buffs/debuffs Inventory: 1) all the gui's for inventory really need redone 2) no way to filter out equipped equipment 3) sometimes set filters don't work (lifesteal, etc) 4) stat filters often don't work I think the chain burst needs to be able to be used with 2 or 3 alive, not just all 4..Version: 1.1.32
✓ It’s no Epic 7It’s pretty visually , always loved Epics balance of male and female characters and this is definitely female heavy . The story is meh because the characters don’t feel as flushed out personality wise as Epics . The equipment system is really bad …like awful . Graphics are awesome and it has alot going on visually . I’ve played Epic from day 1 and it felt more polished on release than this ..Version: 1.1.0
✓ Off-Banner PlaneI don’t understand how the rates on banners are so bad that you get other 3* besides the banner character. For example: Dark Stella banner, 200 pity and I’m up to 140 in the pity but I got at least 3-5 3* characters and no banner character? It was bad enough that it cost more to pull. Extremely disappointed because I wanted this to be a game I stuck with but at this point Genshin pulls are better and I hate Genshin. Up the banner character rates. ✓ Great game extremely unstableReally enjoying this game a lot. Big issue is that the game sometimes just crashes for no reason, and after it crashes you lose all progress you had on the stage you were fighting and you lose all the stamina as well. If you’re fighting a long stage and it crashes, it’s really frustrating. It’s happened to me tons of times and is really demotivating. At least add an option to continue your previous fights after relaunching the game. I’ve crashes multiple times right before i finish a stage and i have to redo the entire fight..Version: 1.1.32
✓ Epic 7 “2.0”The story is entertaining, not as good as E7 but we will see where they go with it. Animation/Graphics is better than E7, however they need to create a more diverse character selection with interesting kit designs. The only real complaint is the sever stability, however I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If you enjoyed E7 I’m sure you will enjoy this. ✓ Please fix crashing issuesThe game crashes every day multiple times. Crash in arena = loss. Crash in guild raid = entry ticket gone and no points gained. I thought it’s because my iPhone is getting a bit old but on a brand new iPad it also crashes. Please fix this..Version: 1.1.32
✓ Overpriced shopEverything in the shop for real money is super overpriced like 35$ for 1 skin come on besides that tho the games isn’t that bad the summon rates are pretty trash you only have a 1.5% for a featured unit and a 1.5% chance for any random 3 star so good luck trying to get a specific unit that isn’t featured.Version: 1.1.26
✓ Don’t play if you have iPhone XThis game is pretty much unplayable if you have iPhone X. I’m not sure about other device but this game loves to crash. I’ve experienced at least 20+ crashes playing 2 hours on my phone. They need to spend more time fixing these crashing problem. It’s been an issue for along time. ✓ Raid shadow legends on Epic 7 platformAfter reading so many posts about resources redirected from Epic 7 to work on this game development I decided to give it a try. The story line is not captivating enough to invest the energy to read. Once completing the walkthrough it is a stripped down epic 7 platform that is a mess to navigate even if you never played other smilegate games. Really poor design; like a natural disaster hit and the developers were rushed. Granted the graphics are nice at first when introduced to the game however they are choppy after awhile has a N64 feel to it. The episode layout is similar to raid shadow legends and offers nothing unique with each level. Very recycled. Aside from the clear build from the other games when playing expect to have the game crash.. a lot! This game will need lots of attention from their developers. It makes the summon currency dry up within a few days of playing, making you grind gems agonizingly slowly and sapping the fun out of everything. ✓ Amazing looks, bad stabilityI was very impressed with the visuals and combat style. The animations are so crisp and unique for each character. ✓ Lost everythingMy account got randomly deleted and lost SO MUCH that I can’t even be bother to ever play again, no matter what I do I can’t seem to get it back. Several characters, gear, progress, all lost. Even saved up a large amount of gems for future banners, all gone. ✓ Sad way to die as a gameDon’t usually write a bad review but the latest updates are way to greedy, there is a pity system for the gacha pulls set at 200 pulls, there used to be around 2 free pulls a day so 100 days for 1 free premium character, not the worst but have seen better, that system has been changed to free pulls and paid pulls, only paid pulls count towards mercy now….but kept it at 200….special events only drop free pulls now instead of mercy pulls. It wouldn’t be a problem if you didn’t need the new characters to keep up with the meta as well as multiple copies to make the viable. The game has switched to whale mode. There is an energy limit to restrict play time, because of course there is, with 15 ads to watch to gain some energy back, so the are already getting ad revenue from you to continue playing This is just a greedy cash grab as the game dies, it’s such a shame the game mechanics are fine, art is fantastic, and I actually enjoyed the story so far, shame developers….shame…… If you made it this far the game is a pay to win game if you like to play free and spend time instead of money, choose something else.Version: 1.1.62
✓ Lifeless and boringEpic 7 but 3D… There’s not much going on here it just seems pretty lifeless and boring. It has pretty graphics and cool ult animations but that alone can’t carry a game. ✓ Not great game, couldn’t even experience itI downloaded this game from a TikTok I saw and thought "why not" so i did. I got to the game, skipped a few dialogues and then I get to the tutorial. The one that starts in the lobby. Couldn’t even get pass it because the data loading thing in the corner wouldn’t even move a number, it just stayed at a zero. I though it was maybe a Wi-Fi issue, I checked and it wasn’t, what if I have to press something? not that either. So I just deleted the game and decided to not download again. I haven’t read or seen much about this game so If this is a new game that came out recently then I would’ve gave it the benefit of the doubt because then it can get fixed later on but if it isn’t a new game then fix your game. ✓ Male characters are an endangered speciesVery nice graphics, animations and voice acting. Gameplay is fairly fun but feels a bit hollow and empty. Also needs new modes and gameplay. What made me quit however, is that this game did what made me quit so many others. It started as a mixed gender game with both male and female characters (tho there were always a few more females and males often limited to low rarity). Now, as it progresses the devs must think that sales are low and said “waifus!”, making every new and limited character female and making nearly all the important story characters and protagonists companions female like a wanna be sword art or something. Devs think this will increase revenue cause “only waifus sell tons!”. This is false and shown clearly by games like starrail and genshin making many attractive husbando characters that sometimes outsell the female ones. The game started mixed with male and female, suddenly shifting to one side is actually REMOVING a chunk of your fanbase that’s into husbandos. ✓ Crashes too oftenThis is a really great game and I’d love to continue supporting it by purchasing packs and the like however, with the constant amount of crashes this game has when playing in my IPhone 11 Pro Max it’s practically unplayable. ✓ Major cash grab with recent update!Publishers snuck in a major F2P nerf by removing all currency mileage from free event tickets. So if you ever hope to pity a unit going forward you either have to pay them real money to accumulate on the pity counter or use your in game currency. And with 2 different pity counters and higher priced premium banner costs, I can’t fathom the time it will take. I’d avoid the game unless you like to whale..Version: 1.1.58
✓ Battle system good, setting/characters are badGood: Battle system is a turn-based 4-member party that tweaks and builds upon the Epic Seven formula, so it should be very familar to those coming here from Smilegate's main game Bad: Characters are bland/generic and MC is an insufferable cringelord typical of some trashy cash-grab isekei anime. The stereotypical harem thrust upon said MC seconds into the tutorial do nothing to help the situation either. This is all immediately apparently at least, and so lets potential players decide quickly whether or not they'll invest their time Deleted the game at the end of the tutorial so can't comment on the gear/grinding reqs but I'd expect that to be similar to E7 as well..Version: 1.1.52
✓ Needs StabilityThis is a fun game with a similar system to Epic7, futuristic fantasy art style like Star Rail, and a standard set of gacha rates. Prices for packs are about like other games I’ve seen, though I think of Epic7 as a bit more generous. It’s worth trying out to be sure. There are only two negatives that I encountered. Firstly, there are not many male units to use. The roster is pretty small and is roughly 75% female units. I didn’t expect this to be the first balanced roster game, but I was hoping it had the better ratio. This is forgivable and should hopefully improve as more units are released. The other negative is why I uninstalled. The game crashes, a lot. Just in my initial playing it crashed four times on me. I wasn’t deep in an intense battle but rather just moving from one menu to another. I will probably download this game again in a while to see if it got better, but I won’t be risking my money on it until the game is more stable..Version: 1.1.29
✓ Good but not polishedGame is basically epic 7 but less polished. Designs are nice but it seems they learned nothing from epic 7 and doesn’t have any of the quality of life we are used to. Animations are a bit long for the auto battle speed limit we have atm. A lot of potential as long as they listen to feedback I can see this being a really nice side game in the future. Also Picture in Picture is REALLY buggy with this game. Constantly pausing my video after certain actions. Audio is muted during it and when my video gets abruptly paused the game audio gets raised to 11. ✓ Crashes a lotI really enjoy the game. Great graphic, characters, art, and gameplay. One thing that is bad is the constant crashing. It happens on different devices so I know isn't my device. Sometimes if you are upgrading character weapons and flipping throw them it crashes there if you go to fast. Most other times if you play to long. ***** Update i really did like this game but the crashing has stopped me from moving through the games levels. Any long battle you will lose. Per the help on crash was to just delete and reinstall which doesn't work. So it is a known issue with no real fix. I have other games that can do long battles and never crashed once. ✓ The developers don’t do a thing about harassmentThere is harassment going on and I reported the issue. They do not even read and follow their own operation of use policy. There’s a lot of things they let go by without doing anything about it. There is no love or care for the game or community. All they care about is releasing packs and getting money from players. OUTERPLANE is even more grindy than it’s predecessor. Tutorials are badly done and explain none of the mechanics clearly. The monetization of the game is also atrocious, whatever you do, DO NOT give them a single dime via the cash shop. To further add insult to injury, the developer claims to have increased 3-star gacha rates via a patch, but this was clearly a lie and already shown to not be the case. ✓ 3D epic seven, same cash grab new app.Just like epic 7 the game is lazy. The characters are almost identical to their 2d counterparts and the rest relies on people paying a ton of money (example: one event required you BUY the character to get rewards) and then there’s the pvp once you finish the ok story. It’s the same 6 units in rotation. Once you his the range where you face actual other people’s comps it’s just the same mundane experience... the dailies take too long to do FOR A MOBILE GAME mind you. It also requires you log in multiple times. The animations get stale... especially when you see them multiple times. And getting back to monetary, they charged 25 usd for low poly terrible styled costumes... I doubt anyone reads this, but it feels good to return their negative energy to them..Version: 1.1.29
✓ Mediocre gameThe plot is not well done, the prologue was just a mess. It’s UI is just Epic 7, the game also feels like E7 but 3D. The game is p2w, this is because you have no guaranteed chance to pull a 3 star unit and you either get lucky or have to hit the 200 pull hard pity where you can claim the unit without pulling. There was no advertising for this game either, this wouldn’t have helped anyway seeing as how it was close to release with another promising gacha.
