✓ Waste of human existence.What an absolute waste of human existence. This has got to be on the Mount Rushmore of worst games ever made. The only way you could advance in this game is if you spend every waking minute of your day on this ridiculous game. It’s the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over. ✓ FrustratingUsing PTW game model on a free game is totally wrong here. After chapter 14 game becomes boring, frustrating and unplayable. Not enough resources to upgrade characters, overpowered bosses, no progress in weeks, able to play few minutes a day in Portal and Club. Thats it. ✓ Fun but a lot of problems!!Starting out this is a fun game. But very quickly it becomes constant grinding and it’s almost impossible to upgrade your characters. So you’re just stuck forever. Also a lot of serious bugs. The developers are good at communicating with players about the problems but completely worthless at fixing them. I opened a ticket for help and the staff member stopped responding after saying he was transferring the issue to another team. ✓ Stranger CurveIt’s the classic Puzzle Quest mixed up for a Stranger Things tie-in. It’s ok but the sudden rises in difficulty are frankly ridiculous. This used to be a pay-to-win game before Netflix took creative control and these chasm jumps are a legacy of that. Three examples: In chapter 15 you can get all the way to the boss with a deck powered 160-180 and then… can’t make a scratch. HNL the same rank gets you to level 241 and then… barely a scratch on the egg boss (which can produce high ranking monsters, can poison your team meaning they’re constantly losing health and can regenerate a massive shield). Club boss goes from 150k health to… a million at the next level. These leaps mean you basically have portal (twenty minutes of play) to keep you occupied for potentially months as no other progress is possible as you rank up your characters. Devs need to understand this isn’t PTW anymore and with these unfair difficulty curves you’re sucking the life out of the game and robbing our clubs of members! Sort it out!.LoftiniumVersion: 18.0.0

✓ Impossible to level up and totally stuckThis is a great game but all of a sudden I am stuck and because I’m no longer progressing I can’t level up my characters……so I’m stuck. Obviously this was developed this way so you were forced to pay to get over it but there is no way to level up so I only have two fights I can do each day, beyond the dailies. Means I spend hardly any time on the game now. If you are Netflix or a developer who is still there you need to add the items that helped you level up. ✓ Downhill since Netflix took overThis game was great until it was shelved and taken over by Netflix. Since then the bugs and limited play as compared to what the game had prior s frustrating. The old version’s pay to play was overly greedy, but the game was stable and had functionality and components this version had lost. This version has no pay to play components (which I respect, there’s to much of that out there). That said it’s glitchy as heck, certain components are locked out, and there are errors in game play. Maybe worst of all, when the game relaunched, the packs previous players received did not come close to returning us to where we were when the game shut down. Also, we were forced to replay multiple levels over starting back at level one. Finally, once you get to certain levels there is no way to move on. Where that is will depend on your level. But, you will hit a wall with no way to keep going because it’s so slow trying to build your levels and characters. I was stuck on the level 15 boss for days and am now stuck early in level 17 with no way to improve my probability. I’m quickly losing interest..JwgroszVersion: 18.0.0

I’m talking days stuck at a single level with no way to earn more currency to level up characters so you can get to the next level. Glitchy payouts where the expected reward just doesn’t show up and now the inventory has been locked for 4 days so I can’t even access stars I did earn leaving me frustratingly stuck on both story line and HNL and now without any high enough characters to do investigations. ✓ Chapter 15 Mission 42 is absurd!I had a lot of fun with this game until this level. Now it’s impassable, out of balance with how hard the rest of the levels leading up to it are, and I don’t even want to play anymore. This had become my favorite game and I was going to be bummed when I beat all the levels, but apparently I’ll never know as I’ve been stuck at this level for weeks and can’t get past it. Sometimes you get in the game—usually when the characters are telling another part to the story, and once you get through the story, you cannot do anything. Nothing happens when you tap options. ✓ Such a downgrade from the original.The original version of this game was great. Very fast paced and responsive. This game is the complete opposite. Everything feels sluggish. Get rid of the screen wipes!!! I don’t know how many times I have gone into something unintentionally because I pressed a button, it didn’t respond, then a second later the screen wipe happens as I’m pressing the button again. And please stop with all the dice animations. First of all the stupid dice effects are unneeded. Second I am so tired of waiting for the stupid animations to finish, so I can actually play the game. This is especially painful during the club boss fights. There is a TIMER but you sit there waiting for a bunch of dice animations to slowly change a couple of dice to some random effect. ✓ Game difficulty problemsI really enjoyed this game until I got to one of the last bosses in Chapter 10. This is a boss that can heal itself for 30% at a time and can fire multiple times per round at your team, sometimes killing 3 out of 5 in one round. My party has 2x Level 140 characters and 3x Level 120. Already tried 50+ times, multiple party configurations and nothing works. The only way to win may be to have an entire party at Level 140, but this is a fool’s errand. You can’t buy the characters you want to level up, so if may take months to level up. You can get characters randomly, so it’s a luck based system. Moreover, without the ability to progress through chapters, you cannot get crystals, so you are left playing the portal once per day, hoping you get the right characters to be able to level up the ones you want. Whole system is ridiculous. I basically already have enough experience to level up the characters to Level 140, but can’t do it without finding the right ones to promote. And you can’t get new characters without crystals and you can’t get crystals easily without progressing through the Chapters..Naive AngerVersion: 17.4.0

✓ Fun in the beginning but grinds to a halt mid way throughThe game is really fun for the first few chapters. Clearing levels is easy, the resources you get and character cards are not enough to get progression of stronger characters fast enough meaning you will spend days of not weeks grinding for character packs. This game is also very buggy and it crashes every 4-10 minutes. This ruins the experience especially when doing something like a club boss. If you crash during a level while fighting the club boss which happens frequently you’ll loose your turn and it will count it as an attempt without giving you any progress at all. Overall it’s an ok game but the bugs and difficulty with progressing your characters makes it less fun to play after a while..Lol and then someVersion: 19.0.6

✓ Consistent crashes - where’s dev?The game consistently crashes during the *only* part of the game involving group participation. In the ‘club boss’ fights, at least one out of three timed rounds freezes up, entirely wiping your score. This wouldn’t be a big deal except the nature of the raid is to work cooperatively and, consistently, 1/3 of attempts are useless with zero damage recorded. It’s not just me - it’s a very common complaint and it seems nothing is being done about it. Other than that - it’s a good game. Stuck on the same level for ages, from 15 characters called I get only 4 characters of 2 stars… The rest is 1 star.. 3 star characters almost impossible to get, only the ones I don’t need! I call characters every day and I call myself VERY lucky if 50% is 2 star ONCE IN A BLUE MOON! After struggling for more than a month with this, I am giving up. It gets too boring. There is no fun in this, as it used to! Way too hard to promote characters and some of the story levels are TOO hard (even when the team is the same strength as the enemy)! And character info is not precise! Some of my 3 star characters are weaker than 2 star, although they must be one of the strongest among all! I love the graphics, concept and story though! You can’t swipe the left to view other characters in your roaster. You can’t see your skill description in combat. There isn’t a 2x speed or skip function if you over power the level. ✓ Things that just don’t make sense -I had to uninstall because at a certain point you can’t level up anymore. They introduced the “gaming table” and THEY select the main people from your roster (you can’t change this), but the rest of the team mates you put into the table can’t go higher than the lowest level person they select for you. Mine happened to be a 3 star Argyle. So while I have 4+ star Max, Lucas, El all up to lvl 120+ Argyle can’t go past 100 without a promotion. But good luck ever finding another Argyle card, let alone enough cards to level him past 3 stars. 🙄 so now all my most powerful players are just sitting at my table not growing at all. You can’t scrap Argyle either. So either the gaming table is completely useless, or Argyle is completely useless and bogging my entire team down. And if you remove players from your gaming table they drop back down to lvl 1. So my options are to either set all my players back to lvl 1 just to get out of the mess, sit around and wait for the portal to open every day and hope my winnings allow me to call players that day and pray there’s multiple Argyles, or uninstall.
