✓ Cool game but…For about a week I get stuck in one place. When completing the chapters in business mode, and having to fight the inspector at the end of each chapter. The game sets the amount of efficiency each character need to have and never give me what I need to upgrade those characters. So I haven’t been able to complete other challenges. I think at the 4th bank the game is not even worth playing..Version: 1.14.0
✓ Was funThe game was fun but the last update changed all the economy. I have to go from 2000 manager level to 2980 wich will take weeks….Version: 1.21.2
✓ Update Ruined the GameI loved playing this game. It’s charming and relaxing. The worst part of the game was business mode already before this last update. For some reason (cash-grabbing) they double-downed and made it even worse, which I would have thought was impossible. The match-3 mini-game is time-consuming without the ads, and is not the reason anyone downloaded this game. While the old business mode was expensive, it was doable. This is literally impossible and has put my game to a halt. I watch the ads at least 10x a day to get free briefcases to level up my managers and I had no difficulty doing business mode before that. Since the last update, I can’t get past this one level and am nowhere close. I’m saddened to say I will probably stop playing the game, because this hurdle is just not possible to jump through without paying real money. I guess the ad revenue just wasn’t cutting it anymore. If they reverse this change, and I really hope they do, I will come back and change my review to 5 stars, because I have really loved this game..Version: 1.16.1

✓ Getting impossibleWould love to keep playing this game but the audit gets impossible with the managers not being available to upgrade past a certain point. Way too expensive too. There’s ad watching but they’re mostly voluntary if you want to move quicker. Then business mode goes into full swing. Once you get to about level 140, it’s just a slog. The amount of levels you have to push through with the match 3 games is just tedious. I now only use this game to help me fall asleep. It’s good for that. Developers if you’re listening. If you have an altruistic bone in your body. If you want this game to thrive and not die. ✓ Ads are out of controlWhile I know the ads aren’t required the game definitely pushes them. I knew that going in and still enjoyed checking in, leveling up and playing the game. Over the past few weeks in May a new style of ad has appeared that requires many clicks and pauses to get thru to only receive the same reward as the much short quicker ads that do not require multiple actions. I was happy watching an few ads, getting a boost and jumping that much more forward in the game. However now I have to be very active with these ads. They are ridiculous and not something I’ve seen before. I am ready to remove the game altogether since I can no longer get the joy and entertainment I once did from this game. Each time I try to get a boost I get one of these ads that takes close to a minute if my time and attention. Lastly I cannot even continue to listen to music as it pauses and seemingly closes my music down so I have to leave the app, open my music app and restart my music before I return to the game. ✓ Don’t bother to downloadI have had it with this crud! I have been playing every day since installing around ten days ago. The problem is with the adverts. The issue is not of the number of ads, they have that right but the problem is with the ads themselves. Many put you in a never ending loop of App Store and press “x” but pressing x just takes you back to the App Store again. You have no option but to quit out then you lose that reward. Other ads just freeze after viewing you don’t even get the “x” to go back to the game. So you have to quit/ reboot again. And no reward! I have over 100M that when I went to the x2 option to increase it that ad froze, yeah you guessed it no reward. And then there are many ads that stay resident in memory and keep their audio playing when you are in the game again. It’s ridiculous that the developers are not checking these ads for compatibility before allowing their call up in the game. Deleted out of frustration. ✓ Frustrating UpdateFor an idling game Bank Tycoon isn’t too bad, although I think it needs further development. The update a few months ago adding a match 3 game was not something I was happy to see but none the less I have stuck with it. The problem I now have is that to complete the match 3 levels you need higher level managers, and to get those you need briefcases which are in short supply. When you do open briefcases they mostly give rare managers which are useless as you get further into the game because you need the epic or more importantly the legendary managers to be upgraded to be able to win the match 3. Whilst ads are not forced in this game I find myself having to watch more and more of them to help me progress. I don’t mind 2 or 3 but it’s getting to be 8, 9, 10 etc. which is making the game less enjoyable, so unless the developers make some changers I feel I’m going to get to a point where I can’t progress and inevitably end up ceasing playing, which is a bit disappointing..Version: 1.24.1

✓ JokeIt’s not that hard to play without clicking for adds, just slows progress down which with the limits for business levels it’s ideal. What you’ll find by time get to the last 2 level banks that you’ll never be able to finish the game. The required point level needed you’ll never achieve. And if by some stroke of luck you do you’ll find after “Making Waves” bank it’s under development a/k/a “Coming Soon” reason being you’ll never get that far. Which is why as you get closer to the final 2 banks there’s insane requirement to go up the business levels which is were you’ll get jammed up. ✓ Most Recent Update Killed This GameWas a fun Tycoon style mobile game for me for awhile. Liked the “Idle” concept of the game and it felt nice upgrading things over time, building your team of managers etc. Didn’t have to think too hard about things and was even willing to toss $10 or so for ad tickets to progress a little quicker. The most recent update has completely tanked your ability to progress at anything more than a snail’s pace without spending a TON of money. The match 3 game was a decent side mini game you could do each week if you have the time and want to earn extra progress. Forcing it into the Business Mode feature is something I could have accepted… but pairing that with a dramatic increase to the requirements to win the mini game and making the punishment mechanic all the more punishing has killed any enjoyment I had. Terrible game design choice that I hope they reverse. I will be deleting the app because the game no longer feels worth my time..Version: 1.17.1

✓ Fun idle game but...I really enjoyed the game at first, playing addictively everyday, but after a while (2-3 months) it became basically a "colour matching" game in order to advance. ✓ Fun concept but several issues…I have played lots of mobile games, this is an interesting concept. The problem comes in the execution. First is the ad system, in all the games I have played, this is the most exploitive and abusive system I have ever seen. It takes forever to gain the funds to upgrade, and the costs are insane once you reach a certain point in the game. So here come the ads go in game money. At this point it should be called Idle Ad Watching Tycoon. The offered solution? Unlike most games that give you the option of paying for no ads (which given the overwhelming volume of ads, I would happily pay for) but that’s not the route this game goes for, essentially getting the game paid for, therefore not needing to penalize the player with the endless stream of ads. This game goes for a an equally exploitive and abusive model, you can buy packages of tickets that allow you to end individual ads (given the excessive volume of ads in this game, you would burn through them extremely quickly, needing to buy more.) which certainly explains the abusive volume of ads. Then there are other problems, at certain times the ad system doesn’t actually work, and the other issue is while in the ads you get sent involuntarily to the App Store, this is a frequent and quite annoying occurrence. If they drop the exploitive and abusive ad and ticket system and the forced redirects, you’ll have a great game..Version: 1.7.0
✓ Disappointing updatesThe newest update to the business centre is seriously annoying, takes away from the “idle” part of the game if you have to sit there and play a match game for more time than you can actually spend upgrading. Way too many goals being to complete business levels or upgrade managers, and even with my managers almost fully maxed I can’t pass a single business level without needing to watch an ad for half my life back. ✓ Use to be relaxing idle gameThe last update was game breaking. The only event is Audit Madness, which is basically like candy crush. Usually between 30-50 levels. It use to be okay, maybe a little time consuming, but not terrible. The rewards were often worth the time used to achieve them. The last update increased the difficulty so I couldn’t even pass level 8 with very decent managers unless I used the premium currency to refill my health. Also, if the candy crush mini event isn’t your cup of tea, that’s okay. It use to just be for the event. Now, you have to play the mini game every time you finish a business level(which is frequently), and the difficulty was increased by about 50%. The game went from a relaxing idle game to a frustrating and time intensive game overnight..Version: 1.17.0

✓ Very fun and addictive but….I love this game but the type of ads you allow are very invasive and not like normal ads that you watch 30 to 60 seconds. It takes you to a whole different page that looks too sketchy. I will be uninstalling because of that. I’m ok with ads, just not ads asking me how often do I vape or has you or a loved one been diagnosed with breast cancer. I choose prefer not to answer and do not get my reward. That’s very distasteful. I should be allowed to not answer and watch an ad and get the reward. This game is a 5 star game for me but the type of ads within it are so horrible and invasive it gets 1 star. Hopefully you listen to this review and fix. I’d love to continue playing this game. ✓ Last Update Ruined ItThe game was fun at first but the last update has completely ruined it. They added the manager challenges where you have to ‘train’ your manager to a certain level. Now all three of my challenges are for training managers. But I cannot train my manager any higher because it is stuck at a rest point and even though my managers are all fully trained to the highest level they still dont meet the total skill points required to pass the test. And that includes 3 legendary managers. So I need more legendary but the only way to get those briefcases are to get the daily cheap ones ir use gold. ✓ What a fall… So unbalanced now…This game started out as an amazing and simple good time. The game updated itself today and is all of a sudden impossible. They’ve incorporated an unnecessary mini game into the business mode. I would be all for a mini game if it was truly skill-based, but this one requires you to have upgraded managers that you have very little ability to acquire. The game does not offer enough high end managers to strengthen your team to win the mini game (unless you’re willing to spend). ✓ Great game but math is off.The game is simple and fun. But some of the math when making money offline seems to be way off. I make 218k a minute and I’m inactive for 1 hour which is 60 minutes, I come back expecting roughly 13 million but I only get 3 million. If there’s something I’m not understanding please reply. As with all these games you progress quickly to begin with, but as you move forward in the game, progression slows, and you are left with three options, wait to earn the money, watch ads or use real money to progress. The problem is that the further you get in the game the more you have to invest, you end up having to watch a 30 seconds add, which gets you a few seconds of progress, the watch another add. You end up watching more adds then game play. Either that or you wait a few hours to earn the money but when you only get a few minutes game time before you have spent all the money you earned, this quickly gets boring..Version: 1.24.1

✓ Ads, Ads and More AdsYou spend more time watching ADs than you do actually playing the game. To avoid watching ADs literally all day, you have to pay for the special pass. If you don’t, well then you will play for about two minutes then have to walk away from the game for the day just so you can earn money during the idle time. When you come back and play again, you’ll spend that money in about thirty seconds and have to repeat the whole process again. So if you don’t mind playing for two minutes a day this is the game for you. And that business mode or whatever is the worst part of the game. It takes all your money just to get through one round. And if you don’t beat the auditor during your turn don’t worry, just watch yet another AD and you’ll get extra life to continue on. The fact that you HAVE to do this business mode to move on to the next bank is a terrible idea and just proves to me that this is just a cash grabbing game like most games..Version: 1.21.2

✓ Game just becomes block connectingI finished 6/9 of the levels and that took a lot of time. There is a portion of the game called “Business Mode” which is just Candy Crush style block connecting. It’s not fun, it’s just there to consume time and slow down your progress. In the first few levels it’s annoying but it’s doable. Once you hit level 4 or 5, it just becomes tedious and the game isn’t fun at all anymore. You end up with enough money to max out everything but you’re blocked from progress because the game forces you to complete levels of business mode. No money or ads can spare you from doing this. In the end, you’re just playing connect the blocks and not upgrading or tending to a bank anymore. If the game had no Business Mode or if they just cut down the forced milestones of Business Mode it would be more fun. ✓ So many pointless addonsIt fell into the same trap as Adventure Capitalist, the original concept is simple enough, but then there’s loads of different currencies and a whole separate “business mode” which you have to waste your cash to getting to the end of a level to waste your time on a match 3 game just to complete the objectives on the main game.
