✓ I think it could be better…So, I just download it today, I played for some hours and closed the app, when I opened it again I was waiting for the video to load so I could gain more coins when my iPad restarted with an update, when I opened the game again I notice the money was never accredited, which it’s infuriating, what’s the point of an idle game if it’s not making money while I’m not playing? Also, I know it’s part of the game but it’s kind of boring that you HAVE to watch videos to get enough money to actually play. I already deleted it, but I think it has potential to be better if they fix some of those issues..Version: 1.10.1
✓ Good game but don’t buyGames fun and entertaining, as far as idle apps go there’s a decent amount to micro manage and enjoy. That said there are only 3 stations over 2 maps, none of which reset ever so once you completely max out/100% a fire station, you’re done there. In-game currency doesn’t transfer from city to city so while you can share your resources for the first two stations in “Idle City”, the third station starts at 0 and builds a separate pool. The one mechanic that transfers is managers, of which you’re extremely limited and can only assign once between the three stations so no sharing your best one. You can always unassigned them to move them but in the end you won’t need them at any station once it’s maxed unless you’re still trying to get money to upgrade station 2. Upgrading them costs commercial time or spending actual money to get random pulls, which IMO isn’t worth it. You get enough to do what you need and then they’re useless. You can also use them to run daily missions escalating in difficulty to unlock more shards for upgrading them, but again this is just a dead end of commercial time or real money which won’t help much in the end. There’s also no real reward other than shards of managers (which again are very limited so once you have them all it matters little if you upgrade). Fun to kill time, 0 replay value once finished..Version: 1.11
✓ It’s a good gameIt’s a really good game but it takes ages to earn money to upgrade things which takes a lot of the enjoyment away from it and you should have it so you can earn extra idle time or buy managers make it a little easier and don’t have everything cost real money it’s got the possibility to be an amazing game but it’s boring with how long it takes to earn money for up grades and adds and everything good costs real money that a lot of people don’t have spare I’m on the fence about deleting the game as it’s not fully enjoyable with how slow it takes but all in all is a good game and has all the possibilities to be great.Version: 1.8
✓ Purchase no ads but…So I purchased the no ads pack in game and yet I keep getting interrupted with ads absolutely disgraceful given how much they charge for that perk. Updated - Devs obviously lazy and greedy so got a refund from apple and uninstalled. If you want this style game avoid this there’s far better out there than these devs.Version: 1.43.4

✓ Not enough to doI have maxed out everything in Idle City and Ken all the fire stations and it’s steady collecting money you can’t use. I have over 300 million dollars Idle city has made and can’t do anything with it due to everything being maxed out. Also, you can’t carry over the Idle City money to Capital City to use or continue your tycoon. Something has to be done to further the continuation of this game. You work hard in one city only to conquer it and then be told you can’t continue your tycoon in the next city so you then have all this useless cash your collecting for nothing..Version: 1.16

✓ Last update broke somethingI’ve been enjoying this game for some time now (want to say at least 6 months if not longer?), but the last update broke something in the capital. Now when I come back, everyone is indeed working EXCEPT in the ambulances. Absolutely NO ONE works there. Instead, they all go to the fire trucks. Also, upgrading the ambulances does not affect how much money I make so not sure if it’s adding more each hour or is stagnant. It was working just fine until the last update. ✓ ConcernsThe game has great potential but there are a few things I have questions about. Why is there such a huge gap between the fees to upgrade certain items in each section? First level is like $500, next one $3000 and then the next is like $250,000. It takes forever to be able to afford to upgrade anything. Then once the second location opened up, it’s impossible to make any money on that level. The first one was easy to upgrade and make money. I can leave for hours and the second one would’ve only made $25k. It’s becoming redundant to play honestly. Then you have to spend real money on gems. Like there’s no option to watch ads or anything. ✓ Game spoiled by advertsI really enjoyed this game - so much I had paid for in app purchases such as seasons and no ads. However since May 2023 the developer has started to show ads even when the in app purchase for no ads has been made. I have reached out to support and they have replied to try and justify by saying the ads shown are not theirs so are now fine to show even where players have purchased no ads. This is a bizarre reply and shows no care for their customers at all. Personally I have now stopped playing (and spending) until this dishonest approach is rectified..Version: 1.54.6
✓ DisappointedStarts off ok but now when I start the “off line bonus” I never get as I press continue it then crashes the game and I lose it. ✓ Issues with CaptainsNothing seems balanced with the captains. I love the captains to my fully built station 2 and loose money per hour even though station 2 make double the profit. It’s little nuances along with none of the bathroom versus equipment room versus garage numbers being equal. I can max out the garage and the gear room and be able to take as many calls due to the gear room being less than the garage. Maybe I am missing something but it’s little things like this that make it frustrating..Version: 1.14

✓ Fun…. While it lastedOne of those games that has a literal shelf life as you can actually finish it!!! I have completed both stations and while it’s fun there is no challenge to it. No skills or decision making. Just open the App, watch a video, double what you made while offline, watch some more videos to double income for up to 2 hrs in 15 minute increments, buy what ever and repeat. The captains game is boring as it’s just a quick “animation” of which ever captains you choose doing the same thing, over and over again until you can’t as you don’t have strong enough captains. ✓ Could be a fun game, failed in its micro transactionsI’ve made it to the second station in the game and as idle games go I would say it’s fun, prices are fair but not cheap, so it takes a bit to upgrade everything. The reason I put this at 2 stars is: There is no daily reward to draw you into playing it more. Gems are only available for real money. Gems can buy chests for captains or “optional” upgrades. $2 will buy 1 upgrade at lvl 1 and I’m sure the gem cost increases to level it. Every part of the station has a captain slot, and the only way to get captains is to buy chest with gems. $2 to buy one low level chest and $20 to buy best chest along with one mid level and one low level chest. The $2 chest had one captain in it. There’s 11 captains total so expect to pay $80 if the RNG gods gave you perfect draws to get them all. For $60 you can play 80 hours of any pc/console game and still not see the whole game.... here you pay $60 and you might get a few upgrades and a few captains that speeds up your cash generation... no change in graphics after 30 seconds of play time..Version: 1.3

✓ Potential is there but short livedThe initial start to the game was fun but short lived. A decent strategy and you will have completed both maps in a short time and be doing nothing more than collecting money. There is supposedly a new map “coming soon” but it seems to have been saying that for awhile. The most recent update gave the first map the ability to add two additional stations but not the second map. So those stations were also then maxed out in a couple of days. The only other task that can be done is fighting fires for boxes that level up captains. This however is pay to play and the final boxes cannot be reached without buying due to time restrictions. So long story short if you enjoy games you will quickly be done with this one without some updates soon....Version: 1.12

✓ Very sad :-(I love this game but after 3 weeks of playing it crashed and I tried everything to fix it. I cleared everything out of background, I turned off my phone and back on, I even tried going into airplane mode but nothing worked. My husband deleted it and reinstalled it and that worked but I lost everything. There is no backup for it like on any other Idle game, so if you delete it then all is gone and you have to start all over. 😢☹️😩.Version: 1.16
✓ Ok gameI like this game in the fact that I am a firefighter and it is the closest thing to a fire game that is fun and kind of addicting. The only thing I have an issue with is there is no way of earning diamonds, or any kind of manager without spending money. I have no issues watching ads. ✓ Great but ScammyI just started playing and really enjoyed the game. After doing 2 of the events I decided I would buy the money multiplier for the next one to see if I could hit all of the goals and get the legendary card. I upgraded every station in less than 24 hours and guess what happened when the event ended?? You got it - no legendary card. It was supposed to be the Polly Polaris card. I would have come out cheaper just buying the card outright. Also, why are there only 2 cities? Most idle games like this at least try to have 3 or 4 in the beginning and add more later. ✓ Addicting game, downside pay to playThis game has come along way since it’s original release. However still has a long way to go as well, for instance once you level everything up in the game there is nothing else to do and it does not take long to max everything out. It took me about 3 weeks only playing a couple minutes a day now I am at the point of buy gems or do nothing, I’m sorry I didn’t download a free game to buy gems to continue to play you can not get shift captains without paying to play after you have unlocked the half leveled up one you get in the beginning. ✓ Has potentialThe overall concept of the game is like most idle games but it’s not bad because the upgrades are in small sections and easy to follow. But after 5-10 minutes, you have to walk away for hours to be able to have the money to upgrade anything. Then they offer Captains but have to pay actual money for them. And if you watch the ads for 2X earning, the second you leave the app, it’s ends. Not sure the point of the waiting room since I’m maxed out on dispatchers, fire crews, trucks and everything else but no one ever goes in there. Just need to find a balance between game play earnings and paid upgrades. $13 for an ad free game is pretty ridiculous. Maybe $2 or $3. Also the ratio between purchasing items is pretty crazy too. $1K for the first one. $3k for the second. $25k for the third and then $250K for the fourth. Plus you then have to level up. No daily rewards or extra ways to earn money or gems. Just dial it in. They can go on a call and return in 16 seconds but spends 14 seconds in the bathroom..Version: 1.5

✓ Great game if it wouldn’t crash all the timeI enjoyed playing the game, and built up my first station about 50%, and then the game started crashing. It would freeze up, or just completely kick me out. Videos for the challenges wouldn’t load. Also, whatever subroutines they have running, my battery on my phone would overheat and shut off while running the game. Only app on my phone that did that. Dozens of other apps run fine for hours with no heating. Idle Firefighter would overheat my phone in just 30 minutes. It was a good game until then. ✓ Unacceptable BugI like this game, and it’s a good time to upgrade and develop new cities new methods. But before any release, did the developers do the trouble shooting? When you release a new version, there is a guide to tell you press this button and there is an arrow to let you know where it is. Then you found out there is only an arrow. And because of this, you cannot tap any other buttons except the setting button. Seriously? I’d rather not update to this version. So disappointed. ✓ Great game but needs improvementEdit: after recent updates the quality of game play has gone drastically down since my review, it now take several days day to upgrade anything, they decreased the in game currency payout by 4x what used to earn 400,000 now gets you 100,000 if your lucky. Im am thoroughly disappointed about all of this. What was once a great game, has turned down hill fast. I absolutely love this game, as an EMT and volly firefighter this first video game that ive played that isnt cheesy when it comes to being a firefighter, like the traditional point and aim a hose at backdrop of a fire. Since ive had this game they cut way back on the pay to play type game, with a chest system to get captains, along with a soon to be completed third station(unrealsed), my biggest complaint is that once your finshed upgrading stations thats it your done, no transferong cash to other stations, it just sits there. ✓ Poorly optimised adsThis is not one of those negative reviews that complains about ads being in games. Companies need these ads to help pay the bills and costs. This negative review is about the fact the ad provider for this game is incompetent and often pushes out poorly optimised ads that just don’t work well on most newer tablet devices. About 2 out of 5 ads will cause you to have to force-restart the app because it gets stuck mid-way through playing or gets stuck on an infinite black screen after it has finished playing. I’m “owed” millions of lost in-game cash due to bad advert services. Got bored of having to restart the app every 10 or so minutes. I’ll take my hard-earned money elsewhere..Version: 1.7.2

I’ve been playing for 2 days, and my progress has been astronomically slow, with only about 30 seconds of gameplay every time I log on.
