✓ Keeps pausing after updateI updated the app yesterday, now I noticed it constantly pauses and skips about every 10 seconds. It’s never happened ever before. I have the same iPhone and same software as before I did the app update. Please fix this bug!.Version: 74
✓ Update umm, can’t get local radioThe update has good potential but one big gripe find local radio station chooses heart London and I’m in cornwall there doesn’t seem to be a way to override this back to my local radio there is pretty much nothing in settings please let me choose my local station and I will update my review..Version: 33

✓ AnnoyingYou have to create an account after a while, then they keep asking you to sing in all the times, even though you already signed in, or force you to sign in through Facebook of google, so they can get all you info.Version: 80
✓ DisappointedI have un tuned from heart and all global radio stations due to the fact they have sacked all local djs we no longer have a lovely community radio station where we can hear what’s going on in our local areas. ✓ This is heartlessGlobal have taken the love out of the morning breakfast, looking at reviews dating 1 year ago there was an influx of people complaining they could not listen to their local station, yet you remove all the local presenters and proceed with overpaid celebrities highly disappointing and ratings lost. Heart Sussex previous Tom,Nicola and Jack listener. Over 70 people have lost their jobs because of this, listen to the people bring back local stations.Version: 50.1
✓ Why have this?I'm not saying it's pointless to have this app - I think it's a great idea. But once you start using it, you'll realise that it's pretty much the Global Player themed around the Heart network. I am an average user of this while I'm at home, but my point is if you're gonna put all of Global's stations in these, then it's just pointless to have them if you're gonna keep the Player up here as well..Version: 58
✓ RubbishI tried contacting customer support through the website as the website suggested I could fill out a form if I could not find my answer i missed the artist of a song heart played and wanted to ask what the song was obviously the information on the website was incorrect as there isnt any form to fill out used to listen a lot to heart as a result I now don't tune in anymore CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NON EXISTENT WITH GLOBAL RADIO another loyal listener lost your going to have non left at this rate Global Radio one day you will realise once the company has sunk like a ship.Version: 58
✓ Ads!!!Radio station it self is great, but when trying to find out about school closures, the site just wouldn’t load as kept taking me to the App Store for different apps and then froze the heart app. Would be great if maybe there was less than one ad every 20 seconds!!.Version: 27.4
✓ Bring back Tom, Nicola and Jack!Jamie and Amanda in the breakfast slot is shocking! We want our local presenters back. You cannot replace their natural rapport and banter. They were able to beautifully interact with their listeners and make even the darkest of days lighter and school runs actually bearable! Shame on you Heart for throwing money at presenters who work on tv but are simply useless on radio. I know I’m speaking for so many people who want their local presenters back on heart. ✓ DisappointedWell now instead of an advert (which was fair enough) you have decided to link us to a betting app on App Store. I totally disagree with this and had to remove your app and xfm apps from my children’s phones as I don’t want them to have access to this. ✓ No need for data collectionThe recently introduced need to sign in to listen to a radio station is just a pain. However the additional data collection they ask when you sign up is grossly unreasonable. There is no lawful need to identify my age or where I live given their conventional radio broadcast activity going out to anyone and everyone. It’s a pure data grab for no reason..Version: 80

✓ DreadfulTotally unacceptable- sacking the local dj’s for the big names. Ditching breakfast shows everywhere was by far your biggest mistake. I do hope your aim of becoming the biggest radio station fails miserably, this is not how you treat people. The mentality that went behind this decision is pure greed.. no one wants it, you literally have no idea how many peoples day you’ve ruined. It’s hard to find a radio station that doesn’t irritate the pants off you, with all the nonsense adverts and same old songs everyday, but Tom, Nicola and Jack mastered the art of entertaining the community. ✓ Forced ads before you even get to the appI used to listen to Heart in another app. But they’ve blocked you listening on anything other than this app, and this app is garbage. Launching the app gives you an skippable ad. This is in addition to the normal ads you get from the station. You’ll also be hit with random other ads that take over the app at other times. All in all trash and I’ve not moved on to other radio stations.Version: 77

✓ What a load of toshSince sacking ALL the local presenters and replacing them with the cackling witch who is sooooo over the top and thinks the world revolves around her and Mr boring tones I have retuned the radio to my local radio station and deleted the app. I used to enjoy listening to Tom, Nicola and Jack always put a smile on your face. ✓ Doesn’t do the one thing it shouldStops playback if it needs to buffer. Won’t resume by itself. UI switches to stopped state (shows play button). Spontaneously wakes up and starts playing again, often hours later. Given the only thing this app is supposed to do is play and stop the Heart stream, it does a pretty poor job..Version: 27.4
✓ Give me my freedom of choice backI listen to Heart SX every morning using the app...well, I did, until “the global” version of the app was forced upon me. Global player! How ironic, it won’t let me reach Essex from West London. Well done to the Genius that thinks removing choice is a good thing. I’ll be back when I can listen to the Heart station I want, whenever I want and wherever I want. Until then, it’s Heart SX -1 Radio 2 +1..Version: 33
✓ OkWell heart fm is a good radio station for catching up with the latest roads and travel so you know how busy the roads are if you are heading in that way. Now the awful side of heart fm is the following: . Amanda Holden has no clue what she is doing . They make the games way to easy to play . When Jamie Theakston is ill or on holiday Amanda has still no clue what she is doing . They get children to come on the radio like Hayley Bird AKA the voice of peppa pig Thanks for reading my review.Version: 59
✓ Downloads won’t playI’ve mainly downloaded this app to listen to a particular show, which I subscribe to, but every time I try and listen to it I get ‘connection error’ and it won’t play. Live radio is fine, but that’s not what I downloaded the app for. Disappointed. On the plus side, the sound quality is a lot better than on the ‘TuneIn Radio’ app..Version: 38
✓ Rubbish RadioI only listened to Heart on the way to work in the morning, the breakfast show WAS a local show and very up lifting and a great way to start my day. I never bothered at any other point in the day due to repeating the same music over and over again and the fact they play so many adverts it became boring. Since they decided to get rid of the local breakfast show I have turned off and tuned into a much better local radio station. Global think they have done the right thing but I think they have made a big mistake. They haven’t paid attention to what their listeners want. I will never tune in again..Version: 50.1

✓ I gave it a week.After losing our local radio presenters, I tried this week to carry on with Heart anyway, it’s just radio right? No. It was community, it was local, it was ours. And I’m sure loyal listeners of all the areas you’ve taken away their radios DJ’s are feeling the same. Jamie Theakston And Amanda Holden DO NOT please my ears whilst I’m walking my dogs. Too loud, too overbearing. I used to listen to Heart throughout the day after the morning show had finished, and at the weekends, but not anymore. I downloaded The Heart app for the local breakfast show. Not for any of the other ‘global’ stations, so I have zero need for this app. Thanks for the disappointment 👍🏼.Version: 50.1
✓ Not local anymore - retuned to local stationHave always loved Heart Sussex - breakfast show was fab - local up-to date news and travel - just what I need in the morning - I don’t want General regional, I’m not interested in Southampton travel which is nowhere near or even in the same county! New breakfast show so patronising. Tom, Nicola and Jack were so much fun - used to drive to work laughing or smiling so often. Redesigns - mmmm, many a company does them, and many totally ruin what worked - think this is another example of this! I wish could vote zero stars now. ✓ Worst decisionIf I could give this 0 stars I would. Ruined the morning commute to work along with many others who feel the same. Would love to see hearts ratings compared to last week and before. ✓ Good but clunky channel changingGood app, responds well. Would like an easier way to swap between the main Heart station for my area and Heart 80s without having to go to tools and wade through all the other regional variants of Heart each and every time.Version: 27.1
✓ Good app “improved” to rubbishThis app worked perfectly well until the update this morning. Now with the “improved” app I can’t actually listen to heart breakfast. So simply put, this apps only job is to play radio stations I want to listen to - and it now doesn’t do that - so this is now a completely pointless app. Why do developers seem hell bent on taking something that worked perfectly well and ruining it. If the app gives you the radio station you want - then it’s fine - and I am sure many people will love it. But for me it doesn’t so it’s now crap! Un-installed and heart have lost a listener. ✓ Much improvement neededYour latest update still hasn’t fixed the bug that killed off Justin Lockwood & Kelly Scott! I just can’t get away with Amanda Holden or Jamie Theakston I’m off back to smooth radio. Heart breakfast with Justin & Kelly made my morning and my drive to work so much better but, you need to improve by bringing them back! 😢.Version: 52
