✓ What’s happened to my app for classic fm?I love classic fm and had it on all the time in my house. 10 days ago I moved to an apartment that has steel ? walls. This affects the radio, so I was using my iPad to listen to classical music. Then there was an advert appeared for Nigel Farage on LBC, so I went to listen to that for a short time. Now when I go to Classic fm app I get LBC instead of my favourite programme! I’m 87 so I need a younger brain to help me!.Version: 34

✓ Sleep Timer setting is annoying.I set it to sleep after 60 minutes say and after a few minutes it always stops playing. So I have to set it again. Pain in the ****. ✓ WiFi perfect, Edge crashesI discovered Classic FM ten years ago and loved their pace. Classical radio is usually tainted with a musical holier-than-thou delivery. This program streams well with WiFi but crashes every time with Edge. I'd give 5 stars if it worked with Edge. Jolly good!.Version: 0
✓ Will not load.The app updated itself and having refused its use of bluetooth, the next screen seemed to insist on me agreeing to being followed by cookies. ✓ Had to re- boot my ipad!!Love Cfm and had app. installed some time ago. Today went onto app. A wretched Samsung ad appeared. Touched screen to get onto Cfm, but whole screen went white! Music still playing ( I wanted to find out about a baritone singer, as he had just been on radio). No way to exit site whatever I touched/ pressed. Music still played when I tried to shut off ipad! Eventually closed whole system down and rebooted. deleted Cfm app. Totally unacceptable and now very wary about re- loading app. Such a shame..Version: 38
✓ Register to listen to the radio???I've been enjoying listening to this radio station for over a decade on the FM and for the last 4-5 on my phone. I don't have a need or want for an account system. ✓ Choppy!It's a great radio station but the app is so choppy I find it annoying to listen to on my iPod touch. Maybe they could improve it by reducing the bandwidth? ✓ Can’t access from Europe using ipadBefore the app allows you to listen to broadcasts, when not in the UK, you see a screen that tells you you need to give permission……for what I do not know, because the ipad does not show the full message at the bottom of the screen, just a very large photo montage with a line of writing underneath. The picture is too large, therefore not configured for the ipad. I cannot read the whole message. ✓ Older devices left outI've listened to ClassicFM for years via the app on my iPad. It was great! Could listen from anywhere in the world. Just had a "crash" though, and had to reload everything from the "cloud." The app didn't come through, so I went to the site to download again. Imagine my horror at learning that the new app requires iOS 10 or higher! My older device (still works fine!) won't upgrade past 9.3.5. Surely I'm not the only fan who doesn't have a newer gadget? Why leave us out in the cold? There should be a way to load an older or simpler version with fewer bells and whistles that will run on lesser iOS. I give a one-star rating merely in honor of the wonderful old app. Hope their tech wizards can fix this glitch..Version: 44

✓ Not as useful as I had hoped.Yes, it streams music well and shows what is currently playing. But… I'm outside the UK at the moment, so show times in GMT/BST aren't very helpful. There's no playlist, so you can't look up a piece of music you heard earlier. There are annoying UK centric ads: not useful for advertiser or for user. I don't mind you trying to sell me the track on iTunes, but spare me the uk to Barbados holiday ads. I would have to fly 6,000 miles to take advantage of those. ✓ Poor ContentThe app seems to be performing ok, some minor issues with drop outs but to my experience nothing major. However, the content begs a serious question as it seems that, mostly, the same pieces are being played over and over and over and over.... Classical music has left a rich legacy of fabulous work across the world and yet classic-fm not only skims the surface but is doing so by mainly repeating the same pieces on an almost daily basis.
