✓ Listen again, fast forward and rewind not workingFor some reason recently the forward and rewind feature on listen again has gone wrong Have deleted and redownloaded the app but it comes back after a few uses When trying to rewind it pretty much jumps forward 10 seconds What’s going on!.Version: 58
✓ Something as simple as radio made as frustrating as possible.What it should be: A one press launch for radio X radio station, no fuss What it actually is: An overly complicated and long winded app, Before you even get to listen to a radio station, including radio x, you have to sign up, a long list of t&c to go through just to listen to a radio station, if you haven’t deleted the app already and you decide to humour this unnecessary inconvenience you are then presented with video adverts (making this app no longer any use in the car) before you finally have the option to play the one radio station you downloaded the app for. As radio x is the only station I listen to, originally for Chris moyles show, now I I listen to Johnny and Toby too. The station is fantastic so I wanted to support the app and put up with the niggles, but this new intrusive sign up system is The final straw. The age old tune in radio app hasn’t gone down the pan and it automatically remembers the last (only station I listen too) I haven’t used it in over a year, it fired up and instantly started playing radio x, no advert, no sign up , no video, no fuss at all. I wanted to support the station by using its dedicated app but the developers have made this so undesirable that I am now dropping it..Version: 80
✓ Storage issuesStates that downloaded shows aren’t stored more than a week and each days overwrites the previous week - but there appears to be issues with this as despite only having 1 x 72mb file currently there are over 7gb of documents & data with the app. Aside from that and the excessive ads and regular connection errors it’s a decent app. Hopefully an update will come soon to fix things..Version: 38

✓ App ads ruin appThe itself is ok but when listening to live radio, the app opens the App Store to an advertised app without asking. If you then close the store and return to the app, it will occasionally do it again and sometimes indefinitely force open the store. If anyone else has this issue, try listening live through the Deezer app. I have been using it instead and works perfectly..Version: 27.4
✓ Please Fix Listen again and downloadWith the new version of the app I can not listen again and my downloads are not working, All I get is “Connection Error Please Try again”. ✓ FrustratingLove the listen again feature and that I can listen to Radio X out and about. However there is a major issue with the app sending me to the App Store constantly advertising apps. If it did it once I’d be a bit irritated but it does it up to five times in a row which is really frustrating. Please fix this issue, I have no problem with the Adds on the radio but are the pop up adds and kicking me into the App Store really necessary?!.Version: 27.4
✓ Sound is clicking on and offI’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times and it still isn’t working. Don’t know if an iPhone X issue but the sound is on for one second, then off for about 8 seconds repeatedly. So irritating as I listen to Chris Moyles on my drive to work and am now being forced to listen to some other random crap due to the app not working and my car not having digital radio. ✓ Good but could be betterMost annoying/dangerous feature is when using the app in the car on Apple Car play why is it that when you select the app you then have to scroll down and try and find the radio station in the long list of global stations? ✓ A fab app, but...This is an absolutely fab little app and I love that I can access Radio X anywhere in the world and download show to watch offline. ✓ Great except for one thingLove the app especially the listen again feature. However, there is one problem. If one is listening again and takes a telephone call, the app resets itself and you are returned to live radio. ✓ It Plays But...Version 2.4.2 has no option to turn it off!I live in the U.S. and I like the music from this station as I'm always listening to it through vTuner on my home theater. Version 2.4.2 is the first version of this app I've used. There is no way to turn the app off, that I can see, without powering down my iPhone! And there is no artist/song information listed either. ✓ Greedy, intrusive and liesI listen to radio x on DAB so thought I’d download the app to listen on my iPad. Didn’t even get to listen to one track. Firstly a massive list of advertisers to reject cookies for ( Greedy), this it’s not a Radio X app but a generic everybody app (Lies). Having picked radio X it then starts asking my location and what let me progress without providing this data. So here’s my question, when you broadcast this over the air for free why do you need vast swathes of personal data. The answer is you don’t need it. You just want to sell it to marketing companies. it was up to me this would be illegal as fundamentally object to this needlessly intrusive, greedy attitude and refuse to be a part of it. ✓ Frequency capping on ads neededIt feels that whenever Global manage to sell an advertising placement for video ads on opening the app they forget to add frequency capping. I don’t want to see an ad for ITV (or in the past Jim Beam or Audi) every time I open the app during the day. I can cope with once, but every time for weeks is excessive..Version: 84
✓ Great AppLove the app. A couple of changes and it would definitely get 5 stars. Few suggestions: When listening to a catch-up show could you add the time of the show in the wheel. Would make it easier to find exactly where you got up to when previously listen live to half the show. There seems to be some issues with using the pause / play button on the iPhone when it’s locked. If you leave it paused for a while the play button won’t work, and you have to unlock the phone, open the app up again and wait for the Add to play. ✓ Annoying bug in new versionsI’ve been using this app as I don’t have a DAB radio in my car. It’s been great up until the last couple of versions. It no longer seems to recover from a loss in signal. If the phone loses coverage, more often than not, the app will stop playing and not continue to play when coverage returns. ✓ Sounds quality issues!Use it everyday for Chris Moyles show on player later in the day. Never had an issue before but since update the sound quality is dreadful. Very mono. ✓ Great app but need to have a default station in CarPlayWhen listening with CarPlay the app requires you to scroll through a list of stations to choose one. As I only use one, it is a distraction from driving which is unnecessary as all it would take is a default or favourite. ✓ Bugs galore!It is fine in the morning when I am listening to the live radio. But in the evening, I listen to the breakfast show downloaded whilst on the tube. I leave work, open the app select the one from that morning which has downloaded. My phone switches from the WiFi to data, crashes the app and then goes to live radio. Then 30 seconds later, the whole app crashes and I have to re load. This happens when I pick up WiFi at tube stations too! ✓ Good but not greatThere’s usually a problem when you pause a pre-recorded show and then try to go back into the app and play it again, it will say error and you have to close it and start again. For some reason it seems to stockpile recorded shows in the background, I had 7 shows downloaded which are circa 70mb each but the data the app takes up was at over 4GB! Have to delete the app and it’s data to start over. The opening advert does get in the way of operating the app..Version: 38

✓ Also having issuesI’m also having the stockpiling issue - I subscribe to the Chris Moyles show only, the shows drop in and are deleted after a week as advertised, but after a couple of months the app is taking up 2GB. Also I have a problem with listening offline to my downloaded shows. When I’m in flight mode, it only plays continuously if the app is open. If I try and do something else on my phone or lock the screen, it stops after about a minute and the app closes. Two very annoying issues in an otherwise good app.Version: 52

✓ Good but...Great app, but as mentioned above.. With listen again, if anything disrupts the show you are listening to, the show will restart. With no way to fast forward, I haven't finished listening to any show that i have started. After a month of using this app, I have changed my opinion from 4 stars to 1. I only use this for listen again, and I have never finished a listening to a show as it restarts randomly for no apparent reason and it's impossible to fast forward. ✓ Ok App, Too many addsI use the app in place of a digital radio whilst driving. It’s great to get the station everywhere I go, but the big problem is the ads. It never used to be an issue, but it’s now a real problem. I like to leave the screen on whilst driving so I can see the current and upcoming songs. This is no longer possible as as long as the app is open, it constantly redirects to the App Store. As I use it whilst driving, it’s less than ideal. ✓ Almost great...Like many, I listen from the US, so love being able to listen again so that Moyles is on during my breakfast time. However, more times than not the playback restarts within 30-40 minutes. Listen Again need to be more robust, with a scrub bar. Take a lesson from the BBC iPlayer radio, it just works, really well. Great station, great DJ's, great music, but the app is still a bit wonky..Version: 4.3.4
