✓ My childhood has returnedI had a Sega Genesis when I was 12 as well as Sonic The Hedgehog. I had this game as well I enjoyed both of them I even had the game gear port of it. 28 years later SEGA has ported all of their rich games to the iPhone and now I get to relive my childhood. despite the ads it is great to relive our childhoods I guess SEGA still does what Nintendon’t.Version: 4.1.3
✓ Love the game but!I know this is way off topic but I just love treasure games, and I would really appreciate it if you brought Alien Solider to the store! I’ve always played gunstar superheroes on my gameboy advance and getting the chance to play the classic on my iPhone is just great! ✓ Gunstar HeroesIt’s the 1993 Genesis game, Gunstar Heroes just the way you remember it. Personally, this is one of my favorite Genesis games. The different character and weapon combinations make it so that no player will experience the game in the same way as another player. The game itself is a side scrolling run and gun. The stages are very fun to play through in all their 16-Bit glory and most have several bosses. The gameplay is smooth, the game is emulated very well and includes save slots and a rewind feature. The touchscreen controls worked fine for me, however If you prefer actual buttons, controllers are supported. I recommend this game, even to new players who weren’t born in the Genesis era. After all, it’s free and you’ve got nothing to lose..Version: 4.0.2

✓ UnderratedThe iOS version of this game is so underrated that it's stupid. The real version of this game is so minuscule u would have to know a sega fanboy to even really know what it is. First of all to people who don't know what this games is it is a 2-D multiplayer shootem up complete with iconic, interesting, and entertaining boss fights and levels. The game has a solid amount of replay ability, with 5 huge levels and 4 difficultys. Now for the controls. They were ok but probably the best they can possibly be. I reccomend using the accelerometer. Dont get me wrong this game is VERY hard. Even on easy. But luckily the iOS version of this game includes saving so unlike in the original u want have to start over as soon as u turn the game off. This game is very good and I suggest that u pick it up while it is .99 I can reccomend this game to fans of the original, platforming fans and hardcore gamers. This game again, is difficult and not for the faint of heart. Prepare to play a game with, strategy, action, and some frustrating moments. But do not worry the game is good enough to make up for that.Version: 2.0

✓ Love this game!!!First off, personally, I find this to be the best side scrolling shoot em up style game ever. What makes it this? Awesome graphics for it's time, the screen is always flooded with monsters to shoot at, no lagging, intense boss battles, explosions everywhere, I could go on forever. As I read about earlier from websites the control is pretty tricky to use, but if you don't find the default set up to you taste you have the option to change it in the options menu. I got used to the default in 10 minutes. The creativity of each level and every boss is insane. One minute you're sliding down a tower, the next you're on the rooftop battling the Seven Force. In this case, the gamemplay overpowers every other negative aspect. Pick it up while you can for 99 cents..Version: 1.0

Using the tilt as movement helps keep the obtrusive finger off the screen but still difficult non the less. Game play is identical to back in the day. PLEASE ADD TV OUT SUPPORT! ✓ Arguably the Greatest Genesis GameThis is one of my all time favorites. Classic. Playing without a directional pad takes some getting used to. Also I find it easier to play with the smaller screen rather than full screen but with transparent buttons. With that I find my thumbs tend to get in the way of the action. The emulation is great and the only improvement I think would be to make the screen slightly larger when you're not playing full screen..Version: 0

✓ I think I peed a little...This is an awesome port of one of the most underrated games on the Genesis. Better yet, one of the most underrated games of all time. It's a run and gun platformer with fun, intuitive boss fights (there's even a boss you face where you need to play a board game!), four levels, many with their own distinct gameplay style (one stage even has you gunning dudes down on a minecart), two different characters with different control schemes, four weapons that can be combined with each other, and so much more. Get this game if you haven't played it already. I promise you're in for a real treat. The controls do take some getting used to, but if you have played any of Sega's other idevice ports you'll adjust quickly. Seriously. Get it and play as if your life depends on it..Version: 0
