IMuscle 2 for Negative User Reviews

Crashes on startup.Don't waste your money. If the developers can be bothered to test whether the application even starts, then save your cash for someone else..Version: 1.0

Keeps crashingWas great, now it keeps crashing…..Version: 3.9.14

Good not greatGood; could be great but a couple if infuriating bugs such as when you add a new exercise to your workout profile it resets the all the reps, weights of all your previous sets. Additionally, the help menu advises that you can move exercises around in your routines as well as home in on particular exercises; not so Please fix..Version: 2.4

Won't load!?Installed but won't load, shame as it looks like a great app. Don't buy this till it's fixed. I'm running 4.3 as required any chance you could fix the app? I tried to "contact us" on your web page following the app support link but the drop downs on your page doesn't work with the iPad. Bit odd for and iPad app developer!!!.Version: 1.0

Can’t Even Create An Account to Download “at home” ExercisesI was so excited about this app. After paying $5 to get started with the app, I cannot create an account in the app. I created account on developers website, but it’s not recognized in the app. So, I cannot download any of the additional exercises, which makes the app nearly useless to me. I also cannot find a way to contact the developer..Version: 3.9.14

App crashOn my ipad 6th crash after 30 seconds.Version: 3.9.14

Clinically inaccurate and dangerousI am a physician that works extensively in a rehabilitative setting with a large patient base with chronic pain. Nearly all of the exercises listed in these videos show crucially and clinically dangerous executions of the movements. Nearly all barbell moves listed will contribute to a significant increase in the likelihood of disc herniations, SI instability, facet irritation, and discogenic pain generators when performed as they are in the animations. How can so many be so wrong? The same is true for nearly all kettlebell exercises and body weight movements. I was shocked to see that the entire program in unacceptable to show to my patients. If you are the designer of this or have any influence on this program, please reach out to me to correct these errors. If you are someone looking for good exercise guides, do not get this app. Buy Starting Strength and then go from there..Version: 3.9.10

Can you idiots give me my money back?I paid for this app ages ago, and now its incompatible with my original ipad and i can no longer use it. If you buy anything from this developer it may work for a year or two but then you get left behind and you will have nothing to show for your cash. I do not recomend giving these people money..Version: 3.0.1

Needs updatingRunning into several issues including performance and server errors. Otherwise it is good, but will soon be useless if not updated.Version: 3.9.13

No universal appI bought the app for Ipad, now I dont got my ipad any more! and I cant use app on my iphone! I have to pay once again :( help me and I will change my Rating to 5star.Version: 3.9.7

BofJe sais pas quoi écrire.Version: 3.9.10

Good for finding exercises but not good for tracking workoutsGood app for identifying exercises for specific muscles and groups. But I stopped using it for active workout recording because you can’t change a created workout on the fly. Let’s say you decide you want to add a leg exercise to your workout while you’re at the gym. You can’t just go find the exercise and add it. You have to stop the workout. Exit it. Go find the new routine. Add it to the specific, saved workout and then start the whole thing all over again. You can’t just drag and drop an exercise into a workout while you’re actually in the workout. That makes it unusually cumbersome and really limited for me personally. I also can’t get prior workout info without actually starting the workout, going to the exercise, checking history, then exit the workout. That’s clumsy. So I want to know what I was benching 2 weeks ago? Can’t do that. All it records is the last workout I did. So now I use Apple Notes to track my workouts while I’m in progress. This iMuscles 2 app is now reduced to just being a wiki-type resource for finding a new exercise. Which makes it just one more app that does the same thing as many, many other apps. It’s too expensive for that limited utility..Version: 3.9.14

No origins or insertionsI was expecting to have origins and inserting of muscles. Disappointed and i don’t know if i can get a refund..Version: 3.9.10

MGood graphics and info but all exercises are with apparatus, which is useful if you have a home gym or gym membership but if you don't have either, like me, then it's not all that helpful. It doesn't specify weights and apparatus are needed for the exercises, which if it did i wouldn't have bothered with it......Version: 2.4

Good reference. Bad workout tracker. This seldom-updated app does have a massive catalog of exercises. You can zoom in on any muscle and get literally dozens of exercises that will work it either directly or indirectly. But the workout half is really rudimentary and does not keep up with the other workout apps on the app store, which is a real shame. Currently apps will use AI to customize workouts, decide what you need to exercise, make a program for you, track progress, time intervals and rest periods, Apple Watch and Apple Health integration and so on. Fitbod is what I use for that. It also includes support you can get from real trainers. (and a subscription price which I find worthwhile, so far.) If I could take Fitbod’s smarts and match them with iMuscle’s exercise catalog and graphics, I’d have the perfect workout app. Right now, this is really just a good reference, which is 3D4medical’s (the developer’s) whole business model with their other apps..Version: 3.9.14

Good but lackingHas some good, and informative features to make it more than just eye candy. Two issues I do have though 1) the x to close windows is next to useless and takes several attempts to work 2) no core training exercises? Are you kidding me?! Sort these two things and I would make this a 4/5 star app..Version: 2.4

Very good appVery good app as it is very detailed but crashes frequently on ipad mini..Version: 3.7

Keeps crashing...Looks awesome, but useless since it keeps crashing within 30 seconds of opening....Version: 3.7

Almost good, but not yetVery pretty App, but not very user friendly. Cannot edit workout after the fact. When I am in a workout and I want to edit reps or weight near the bottom of screen you can easily press the pins button instead which takes you back to the muscle group view. Not a big deal right, but your workout gets reset and have to re-enter the data over again. Another thing I would like is the ability to move exercises from one workout to another or from user to user. Has a lot of potential to be great but standing around messing with an app when I should be working out is not how it should be. So I will not be using this app until they fix it....Version: 1.1

Almost greatVery cool app, which is very handy, however a couple of issues: You have to goto settings every time you open it and switch to kg, doesn't save the setting for me. When actually doing the workout, it's quite annoying to scroll through the reps/weight of each exercise, if you move your finger slightly away it returns it to whatever it was before you started scrolling, meaning you have to be very accurate with your touch. Quite a few times I have pressed something and nothing happens, not through freezing, just doesn't seem to respond to every touch. It could be that you just have to be very accurate with every button press like I stated above about the scroller..Version: 2.3

Not enough exercisesThere is a lack of variety of exercises, in particular with dumbells..Version: 3.7.1

IMuscleNot a bad app. Needs to have some basic info about the muscle e.g. Origin, insertion, and function. Seems to have some problems closing some windows..Version: 1.1

Can’t downloadGreat app but didn’t use it for about 6months, now I can’t download again..Version: 3.9.11
