✓ Excellent Game!Derby Quest is such a joy to play. I have only one issue with the gameplay and a few bugs to report, but overall this is an excellent and addictive game. First, sometimes when I am racing a horse, I have another racer on the right or left side of my horse, but the mechanics won't let me veer away from that racer. Second, when you switch the jockey from male to female and vise versa, the female version only shrinks at the waist (appropriately, which is nice) and receives a long ponytail, but does not change the face. It is odd that I have a female jockey with a man's face...that is something I would like fixed. Third, it took me hours to figure out this one: when I am trying to purchase a treat, feed, tack, or equipment for my jockey, the only options I see are apples, hay, the basic tack/equipment. For some reason, the scrolling part of the par that should display the other options is blank. I am able to purchase the other options, however, by blindly tapping the blank page, but I do not like this at all. Lastly, on an older version of this game that I played years ago, the color of a new horse's coat was decided by genetics. That feature was very intriguing to me, and I am rather upset that it is gone. Again, overall this is an amazing game and I don't ever plan on stopping playing it. If you love horses and want a more interactive (free) game, do not hesitate to try this game out. I would not suggest skipping the tutorial, this is not a very self-explanatory game. -A very pleased DQ player.Version: 2.6.1
✓ Few problems :/I've played this app for almost 2 years now and have always had problems with it crashing, not loading and just getting boring because all of the races are the same. However the game requires a conversion method from money to diamonds and there should be more choice in the racing. An introduction of multiplayer is a good start but tournaments, steeplechases, different course types and a little more customisation would easily bump this game up to the five star mark..Version: 1.1.1

I don't know if anyone else has the same problem but I can never seem to get a good score on the competitor training. ✓ Great, but...I really do love this game, it's really good, great graphics, great story/gameplay, great fun especially if you horses. However the only thing that bugs me about his game is it's hard to earn money and having no money left makes it hard to play the game to its full potential. Also waiting fifteen minutes to race again when you only have one horse could put someone off the game sadly. ✓ Really good gameI really love this game except every time I breed a new horse I always get the same colour ( unless I spend 10 derby dimonds)... I have bred about 7 horses and all turned out the same colour. Also I don't like the after a quite a short time you need to retire the horses because then they start to lose their results. Apart from those I really like this game. My latest horse Horacane Hugh ( I wrote it Horacane like that, Oops!) has had 6 races so far and won 4 races and came 2nd in 2. he is a really good horse but my best horse was a horse called Super Socks who came 1st in 13 races. The career mode is good, u start at the bottom n work your way 2 the top, breeding horses along the way! U can upgrade equipment n stables which cost imaginary game coins, an easy way 2 increase your coin balance is by tapping the 'free currency' tab, u hav 2 watch 30secs vids of other app games but the vids r generally of the top free games n I've downloaded sum based in the vids. The only thing I dislike about the game is the recovery time between races as u hav 2 wait 10mins 4 the horse 2 recover but u can avoid this with stamina injections. ✓ Graphics could be more realisticReally good game but after the update the game crashes when I finish the race. In terms of the graphics the horses look better in dark colours. The horse white and brown looks almost like something else but not a horse. Good game though Update: there's a bug that makes the dialog before each training to appear blank, additionally the final times are also blank at the end of the race! ✓ DRacerI give it a 4 out of 5 because it had really good graphics, sound and proper movements of the horse unlike other games. The only things that let's you down is when you feed the horse, when you know Its the favorite treat, it gets annoying after a while, and there isn't much to do with the horse apart from training and racing, but overall it's an awesome game :) !!! ✓ MoneyThis is a one of the great free horse racing games I have, however the only problem I have with it is how the CGI's when racing with them have unlimited crop while which is unfair and the money situation. The only way you can have more horses is if you buy a bigger barn, but the barns are so expensive in in-game money! So the only way you can get that amount of money is buy actually buying it! What we want to see is different length races, jumps, fences, betting, possibly hire jockeys to ride for u if u want to spend more time developing your stable and not only racing. I think there are a couple of things that could be improved: shorter times between races, or at least being able to train when ever you like. If the game decides your not going to win the race, it doesn't matter how good your horse or tactics are, you won't win ! You are forced to retire your horse soon after the game tells you to, as it will instantly make your horse come last every race, it should slowly taper off or have injuries if you push it too much ! Now to upgrades, c'mon guys, prices are a bit excessive, up to $110 for diamonds, what a joke !!! Replays ??? Where are they ??? Photo finish ??? Where is it ??? ✓ Pretty good game.Some things need to be addressed before launching multiplayer an tournaments. 1. The horses should be categorised in races. i.e. in class E which is maiden there should not be any horses that have raced before within a certain skill level. So a horse like the stallions at stud which how up with 90 burst and 90 endurance. 2. You shouldn't be beaten by a horse with 70 ish factors when your horse has 100, it doesn't keep the game fair. Makes you feel cheated having spent all that time training to win. So horses with 100 should be up against horses with 100 etc. 3. Inbreeding- I'm currently breeding inbred super horses that come out with 90 burst and endurance straight up ( and they get beaten randomly in class E races ) 4. Race horses don't eat muffins... Maybe have different grain types rather than Barbie horse treats. Overall a good game and very addictive!.Version: 1.0.5
