Don’t make us download multiple junk apps!I used to be able to use the Safeway app to shop at Andronicos, Vons, Safeway, etc. Now anytime I go to any of these places the app makes me download some new junk that does exactly the same thing. Enough of the clutter! I DON’T WANT FIVE CRIPPLED APPS INSTEAD OF A SINGLE ONE THAT WORKS. Now I just try to avoid Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Andronicos altogether and go ANYWHERE else..Version: 2023.22.0

Just okRewards are super difficult to get, and digital coupons tend to be the same items month after month. Other grocery store Aps are better to navigate and have more selection. An expensive store already, these issues don’t make this a must have App..Version: 2022.37.0

This is the reason I hate updatesThe app was a little buggy before, but usable. I finally relented and downloaded the latest update June 22. Big mistake. We have Pavilions and Albertsons in our area, and not all sales are the same. Unfortunately somehow the apps are tied together: if I use the Pavilions app and then go to the Albertsons app, it reminds me that stores have different offers- but now it won't let me change to the other store location..Version: 6.0.0

Pharmacy Portion Worse than Old StandaloneThe old Pavillions pharmacy app was great. Easy to use and very fast at accomplishing the task. Since they did away with it and incorporated it into the Pavilions app it’s become much harder to use, slower and not as effective. Menu’s are confusing and one has to spend much more time ordering than before. Hopefully it will be improved..Version: 2023.35.0

These worse upgrade app possibleYour developers have absolutely ruined this app. Used to be so easy to get around and understand everything. Now you just want to through your phone out when you try shopping at the store. Please please please can the current developers and get back to the older app. It’s laughable how almost everyone review complains about the app not working for us, your customers, yet you don’t do anything about it. It was great until they changed itEverything was easy to see, find and search for until they changed it for some unknown reason. It is NOT user friendly now and requires a lot more clicking of things to even see what there is. It’s like they made it harder to use so that people WON’T use it and then THEY save money as a result. It literally used to be organized so well and you could see everything just by scrolling and now you can’t..Version: 21.2.0

More the people than the appThe wrong order was sent, so the delivery driver got to keep two 24 packs of water and 2 bags of groceries for themselves (DYK the delivery drivers get to keep all that stuff because it cannot be returned), and the replacement order that was supposed to be packed and sent the next day was never never happed. This was a combination of my local store and the online app chat assistant. Probably never ordering deliver again and seriously considering leaving all Pavilions, Vons, Albertsons retailers until they get their house in order..Version: 2023.37.0

Slow and unresponsiveConnected via Wi-Fi with 500mbs plus download and app still runs pretty slow to load pages, at times I’ve had to close the app and relaunch to get pages to load, most of the loading issues have been related to the search function. Another thing to deal withThey are making customers switch over to this app for prescriptions and it won’t even connect. When it does there are issues with old email accounts and passwords so you can’t make the account. Pavillions store employees are great but whatever upper management or executives responsible for this crap should be fired..Version: 2023.23.0

Pharmacy tab brokenUsing the app for groceries works fine. Whenever I click on the Pharmacy tab to access my prescriptions (which is the main reason I use the app), always gives “client-side” errors and need to force quit the app. Might as well delete this app as the only way to access my prescriptions is through a regular browser.Version: 2023.35.0

IPad View GONE!The app seems to think that users are going to use only their phones, and so only require portrait mode. Gone is the landscape mode of the original app. This means no using it on the iPad EVEN though the app can be downloaded onto an iPad. I don't like using my phone to order pick-up/delivery. I'm a senior. It's small, hard on the eyes, hard to use the keyboard to search for items. I downloaded this app onto an iPad to avoid all that, and now I can't make use of any of it because it won't go into landscape mode. FIX THIS!.Version: 21.2.0

Abuses notificationsI hope you like having your day interrupted with pointless Marketing notifications, because if you want Order Updates sent to you (which of course you do), these folks will abuse their permissions to notify you by sending you Marketing “deal” messages that you cannot turn off unless you turn off Order Updates as well. Not very customer centric. Boooo, Pavillions. Be better..Version: 2022.2.0

Monopoly CouponI lost my monopoly coupon for free items by accidentally clicking the delete. Figuring out how to retrieve it but it’s forever gone! It would be convenient if there was an option to remove items like baby diapers , etc that I will never need to be removed from my selection to narrow down the shopping list..Version: 10.9.0

Will not work on my New IPhoneI went into store and I was told I needed to update then I don’t know. I am missing deals by not knowing what to do. If one of the reasons is new update like a customer said in one of the reviews. It should have been fixed by now. Do we have to all get together? Would give zero if there were one available. If I cannot get answer in store and no number for app because I cannot get on, what are we to do about the money we are losing?.Version: 6.2.1

Terrible after recent update!!Well, they fixed the problem I mentioned below. Worked great for a while. Now, the most recent update screwed it up again. Your selected deals are now in a separate list from your shopping list. If I wanted to jump back and forth from page to page, I would write my shopping list out. Simple rule: IF IT AIN’T BROKE, DON’T FIX IT!!! Used the app for years. Recent update completely changed the functionality of the app. It is geared more towards delivery. Can no longer make a functional shopping list. App is difficult to navigate. I have no idea what they were thinking but they managed to screw up it up royally. App usagePrior to the latest update this app was great. Now it appears as if it is only interested in deliveries not instore purchasing. You cannot see your shopping purchase list anymore, only the estimated total cost. Please fix this problem..Version: 2022.14.0

No more coupons to clip :(I clipped some coupons and used them. I go back on my app a couple hours later and now there are no more coupons for me to clip when there were over 50 before my purchase. Also difficult to see what I want to buy and list function is not useful..Version: 21.3.1

Cool idea but impracticalI don’t want to scroll through random items to “clip deals” just to get to the register and find out I didn’t see the extra terms and conditions. I don’t think every company needs its own app..Version: 2023.2.0

No iPad View? Wow, time to shop somewhere else after 20 years.Multiple family member have used the Pavilion’s Delivery & Pickup App, mostly on their iPads, every week if not a couple times a week for years. We all have iPhones, laptops and desktops, but nothing was more convenient that using the iPad. Who at a corporate level made this decision? Their superiors might want to assess their analytical skill set. I have this saying in business “what does it cost to loose a customer for life?” I’ll still go there in person sometimes, but you don’t alienate or make the customer experience difficult. Time for new management or new programmers. We rarely see such a miscalculation in the marketplace. Thank you for replying, but if the new App doesn’t rotate for an iPad we’ll be shopping somewhere else. I can work on one model, I have all three sizes, just one is all I ask :) Please forward this to management or the head programmers. Thank you for an additional reply. A way to appease your users that have issues with the rotation in not to discontinue the old App. Sonos (the famous speaker company) made a strategic mistake and caused loss of clients and users because they automatically removed their old App and bricked devices. Search function does NOT WORK.I used the app twice. The first was just a test and I found it easy to select items from the “buy again” list. Liked the speed and communications and the pickup process. Today I tried again and noticed that it’s impossible to find anything that was never bought before. Searched for Puff pastry Mushrooms Prosciutto Pork tenderloin And the app didn’t find any of them. Funny, since I know exactly where to find all of these in the store’s aisles. Hey Morons. You’re a grocery store.Whoever thought that a grocery requires the use of an App is an idiot. It’s bad enough you monopolize the market and charge exorbitant prices for food. Now you’re forcing customers to use an app to get access to deals? In addition to this idiotic system, your cashiers don’t like it, it doesn’t work properly, certain info won’t load, it scans poorly, and I’m certain you’re collecting and trying to sell data. UselessAfter placing an order, I received a picture-less email confirming it had been delivered. The groceries were nowhere on my property. I called and was told they had no idea what had happened but the food would be delivered 24 hours later. It wasn’t. And I didn’t receive any notifications either so I had to then waste MORE time calling to see what had happened. (Surprise; the idiot on the other end of the line had no clue). Turns out it’s easier and much less hassle to go to the store yourself. But I’ll be avoiding all Pavilions-owned grocery stores too as they left a bad, unprofessional taste in my mouth.
