✓ Terrible update Aug 2019I used to love this app, I even paid to upgrade and I never pay for apps, that is how good it was. I rely on it heavily to keep track of my money and then when I opened it yesterday it had all changed. Why!?! I have managed to adjust some settings so it shows the information I need as it used to but some I cannot change and I can’t figure out why. I have contacted support and hoping they can help because not being able to look at the transactions in my budgets in chronological order is a complete nightmare for me and how I keep an eye on my money. And it has my budgets down as having no income at all. I just don’t understand why they have taken a great app and made it so user unfriendly. ✓ Horrible updateThis used to be a great app until the update ruined it! I can’t change the icon on many items in the category section so many items have an airplane icon. The only way to change it now is to delete those categories and re-enter them which messes everything up. The budget section used to work correctly. For example you transfer a $100 expense to the income section, and it subtracts that $100 showing what you have left. Now it ADDS that $100 to the income section falsely showing you have an extra $100! You cannot accurately see how much money you have left for the month- it in fact, doubles your money! How is that supposed to reflect a budget? You can’t quickly see which items have reconciled in your account because you have to take another step to reconcile. Ridiculous. Why would they take such a great app and ruin it! Honestly, this has become basically unusable for the purposes of managing your money..TLxad$$$Version: 4.0

Especially considering that the update caused every single bill I had to be listed as “unknown”. ✓ Not very intuitiveIt’s okay for listing your items but the category always pops up as Auto for instance. It would be much more helpful if it “learned” other categories. ✓ It’s ok.I do like the option to view ad videos to go ad-free for a period of time - nice touch. The drawbacks are that the Bills and Budget functions are clunky to use. The running total isn’t always accurate as the order of transactions don’t really follow chronologically sometimes. I wish you could edit the time for individual bills transactions. ✓ Almost PurchasedPlaying with the free version. Almost purchased but see that you have to set the transaction type (debit, check, etc) for entire account, not the individual transaction. This is useless for me since some accounts utilize multiple types (debit, checking, credit). Under Accounts, whatever order I initially set the account, I didn’t have the ability to change the sort...which I need some times when I’m focusing on a particular account. I often like to have the account of focus on top. I used to have SplashMoney but they haven’t updated to iOS 11. Ads put in places to trick you into pressing them by accident (they appear at the top after a few moments and push the buttons down. Meaning you invariably hit the ad when you go to quickly press the +), for some reason default category is utilities which means the category list always scrolls all the way to the bottom - why not the category at the top if you need to set a default? The update now forces you to import your data via email or 3rd party cloud. I'm not interested in having my personal data in the cloud. It was so much better having the WiFi backup strait to a folder in your computer. ✓ Positive reviews are all oldI was using this with great success to track all my bills for 3 years. Then they "updated" (overhauled) it. The interface is ugly and hard to use, the data you need to schedule a bill is overkill, and it arbitrarily ignores repeats on bills. The repeat bills is a big problem as that's why most people get it. Looking at my bills calendar I've got very few bills this month, but only because half of them are missing. Some of the ones shown are duplicates. There are nine icons on the home screen, only 2-3 of which you'll ever use. There is no guide for how to use any of them. ✓ Convenient but a major bug if you travel across time zonesI have used many expense tracking apps, and this one has interesting functionality but if you travel across time zones, the budget feature becomes unusable so you won’t be able to compare your actuals versus budgeted directly on the app, you’ll have to download expenses to a spreadsheet and do the budget vs actuals there. Very annoying and partially defeating the purpose of having an expense tracking app on your phone. The bug adds monthly budgets and double counts expenses for the month ends where you are in a different time zone. I have paid for an annual subscription for this but I am looking for another app because this bug is getting very annoying, and it has been around for SO long, I really thought it would be fixed by now. ✓ Great app before the updateI’ve been using this app for a few years now and decided to get the Pro version last year. Prior to the update, this app is really great for monitoring my expenses. However, after updating, I find the app very buggy. Firstly, the budget feature is not working as before. Normally, the budget will compute in real time after putting a transaction. Also, there is a bug in the bills that even though I have paid, it says it’s overdue. Hope the developers fix this ASAP. It has been 2 weeks since the update and I still has not heard from them.
