✓ A great game.. grows as you playBrilliant graphics and intuitive controls...and can grow over time. But do be aware that there are lots of “opportunities” they offer you to pay to advance. ✓ Immediately times out in multiplayerThe game is GREAT, don’t get me wrong but when it comes to multiplayer for some reason I can tee-off perfectly and so can the other player, but when it comes to my next shot it IMMEDIATELY gives me a stroke/time out penalty like milaseconds into my second shot, the other players never seem to have trouble so I’m not sure what’s going on. Other then that GREAT game but sadly the multiplayer just doesn’t work for me and hasn’t worked at all since I started playing... sad 🥲 please fix this guys.Version: 9.4.3

✓ Ignore bad reviewsYou can feel free to ignore all the bad reviews this game has - just frustrated people who haven’t figured out this is actually a relatively complex golf game that only seems easy to play. You have to adjust not only for wind speed, but also angle of lie, angle of landing area, and type of landing area. Loving this game. I am F2P and you can get enough premium currency within a few weeks to buy the permanent VIP membership. Unlike most of the golf games out there, this one isn’t a barrier to F2P players like me thru timed loot boxes. It also doesn’t have the requirement of most golf games out there to bet your currency to play multiplayer mode. The option is available, but there are lots of other modes and tournaments you can play totally for free to build up your bank, and also daily ad watching rewards that are actually very lucrative. After having played many of the other mobile golf games, I am so happy to have finally found a fair game for F2P gamers. ✓ Golf StarBeen playing this game for years it is super fun and will occupy your time like no other. Since GolfStar replies to reviews PLEASE fix this... During tournament play, when putting, that ridiculous yellow warning text pops up DIRECTLY over the ball so you can’t see your shot... IT IS INFURIATING!! Why is even there, let alone over the ball?? Also during any other play “even putting” the screen goes through a bunch of crazy camera angles tracking the ball. It is VERY confusing because you can’t see the trajectory of your shot and have no idea what you did or how you could improve... crazy camera angles should be a option you can turn on or off. ✓ Can I get an avatar that looks like me?I love this game and have been playing it for years. I would give five stars but for one reason: I’d like to have an avatar that resembles me. I am a darker shade of skin color than possible on the game and have a bald head. It may seem trivial, but this is specifically why I have never made any in app purchases. Positive: -Amazing concept -A lot of fun -Competitive and challenging -A lot to do already Feedback: -The game, as others have mentioned, seems very inconsistent with the result of your swing. -Opponents in campaign mode are IMPOSSIBLE to beat. Playing the second course, my opponents always shoot 8 under par which seems impossible to beat with low level clubs, bags, and covers. -Takes way too long to get good gear -It feels like stats fluctuate too much when changing clubs, bags, and covers out. ✓ Can't buy packagesThis is a great game and I play it all the time. A few weeks ago I bought a package with hearts and stars. The transaction went through with no problem. But now I'm trying to upgrade and buy a different package and it is telling me I have insufficient funds. I have more than enough money in my account but it still tells me insufficient funds. ✓ Fantastic Golf Game All Around, but...It is probably my favorite golf game on the App Store and I’ve tried them all! love the campaign mode and the way you are able to customize the characters and stats. Beautiful artwork/graphics as well. My ONLY issue (and I don’t know if this is happening to other people) is that EVERY TIME I open the game, additional data needs to be downloaded. It is the same amount every time and takes up to 2 minutes to start up. It may not seem like a lot, but when you are sitting there and waiting for the additional data to download it makes me want to close out the app and start up another game. If this can be fixed, or if this is only happening to me, please let me know! But again, I love the game and would recommend it to anyone who likes golf games on mobile..Version: 8.6.0

✓ Enjoyable PlayBeen playing this game for a few years and it continues to entertain me. I agree with others that the physics don't always make sense with ball travel but so be it. I don't agree with those that say you have to spend $. I'm at level 88 and never spent a dime. Granted those who spend money may advance faster but if I got to the top that quick I would be bored! The challenge is all in getting to the top. I do wish I could pull some ultimate gear more often. Tend to just see club covers in ultimate. Only issue as of late is game crashing after powering up things or using transcendence on items. Otherwise I'll play and play and hopefully updates will stay within my iPad 4's availability!! ✓ Recent issuesI’ve been playing for about 2 months now and I’ve never encountered any issues until this past week. When I play any game mode on tee off and on the fairway your able to see the path of where the ball will go before taking your shot but as of recently the balls path has disappeared and I can’t see where my shot is aiming and a little white screen appears and goes away quickly on the bottom right corner. I hope this is an issue for many others and not just me. It takes a little while to get good at reading the wind, lay of the ball and roll of the green, so it can't be mastered in a short time and become boring. Somehow the company has to make money, as all developers need to make a living. This is done through expensive upgrades of equipment, which is rather unfortunate, as the player with the bigger wallet will be able to hit further. Being able to hit further gets you in less strokes onto the green, and thus you will win. So if you are happy to hit the ball around in an uncompetitive manner, the game is free. If you occasionally want to have a chance at winning, dig deep into your pocket. I am guessing that anyone in the top 10% of players has spent well over $500 if not $1000s..Version: 2.2.11

I tried both my Sprint service and my wifi connection still the same problem. Maybe its an error on my side just wanted to let you guys know. I have used the Practice Field about to get a Birdie and the dang game shut off. ✓ Best iOS golf gameBought Tiger Woods PGA Tour '12 and for gameplay this takes a hairy dump on it. Wish there was less fuss after completing a round. It does take a while getting through menus etc to get another game going. On top of that the in-app purchases are expensive. Wish you could earn stars (used to purchase items) and hearts (used to play a round) much faster. I bought the package with unlimited hearts up to a particular level after which I'll have to earn hearts by purchasing or waiting to play. I think my play time will die off when that happens. ✓ Not suitable for live play.Pretty fun app mostly. Many different ways to play and enjoy the game. Some matches are against the computer and others are live, head-to-head against other players around the world. Problem is the app regularly disconnects from the server in the middle of the match. No biggie when playing against the computer cause the app returns you to the game where you got dumped out. EXCEEDINGLY FRUSTRATING when you are in a head-to-head game because by the time you’re logged back in you’ve lost the hole and, likely, the match! Still, there is a lot of fun with all its game challenges and prizes; enough fun that I play nearly every day. I liken it to a craps table: so many different ways to play and you can partake in one or (if you’ve got the time) in all of them..Version: 9.1.1

Putting is very difficult a verse angle of the putt would help and better topography would help with the putting. I cannot sign into the hub account, can you assist me. Also the character are do not reflect an older golfer like me , consider older characters. I would like to say I am unhappy with no response no action on the review please address my concern about creating believable avatars. I also would like to have a different way of controlling the swing as in Tiger Wood 2012 or Real Golf 2011. I still would like older avatar for we elder gamers, just to add realism. The tour mode looks great I will know better as I continue to play. On the green I would like different views to read the putts better. Please consider changing the swing modes to make it similar to tiger wods type or the real golf type. ✓ WoodyI have downloaded and tried all golf games available and by an absolute mile this is the best out there. The gameplay options for the novice or expert are tremendous more importantly the physics engine is spot on with every little detail from wind to the lie of the ball affecting the shot and distance It’s not perfect and from time to time can be a little frustrating if you get disconnected from the server or the shot system gets a little glitchy but in general these issues get sorted quickly. ✓ EASILY the BEST Golf game out there..This is by far the best golf game you can get. I’ve been using it for nearly 2 years and am still advancing and still going. You can earn Gold and Green cash easily by competing in various events, so it is no way a cash grab or an app that forces you to “pay to play.” There is no energy that can run out or anything like that. I will say that purchasing the “VIP” membership (i recommend getting it) will help you Level Up faster, but it isn't necessary. You can play in multi-player tournaments, join Guilds and challenge other Guilds, play One-On-One matches, and so much more. Like I said, i’ve been playing this for 2 years, spent very little money on it, and still thoroughly enjoy it..Version: 5.1.2

✓ Great game without spending your cash!I really enjoy this game. I saw the comments about no consistency. That person needs to understand that each club and each shot has conditions that will change the outcome of the shot. This is not the most realistic game but those tend to be a little annoying and less casually playable. This game has a great balance of realism while still being a video game. You cannot change the direction of the ball in the air, which is one of the features I did not like about Tiger Woods back in the day. There are in app purchases but they don’t really make sense because you can earn the same amount as what you would purchase in a few days. My only suggestion would be if you want to make purchasing easier, make sure that it’s worth it. $10 for 1000 gold? So I can get one outfit? But because the rewards are so good for the daily challenges tournaments and everything else, You really don’t need to make any purchases..Version: 7.0.2

The dazzling confusion of options to those on less than 1000 stats makes it impossible to know where to spend any money. Maybe this is deliberate and a good thing for the beginner, do you really want to hit a golf ball 600 yards anyway? Thanks for the great game. ✓ My Go ToI’m not a gamer. I play golf about three times a month. I play GolfStar more, way more. It’s not necessary to enjoy to spend more than ... $10 to acquire the skills to become better. If you want to drive farther than humanly possible, they will glad help you purchase the needed equipment. Did I mention clothing can also be acquired. It’s just like golf in that respect, money makes the player but it’s not necessary to have fun..Version: 9.1.0
✓ TranscendenceLove the game, played for around 3 years now. Slowly worked through the different challenges until recently completing the tour. Very frustrated that I can’t tell how good an item is. There’s nothing to compare things to. Also now that I’ve finally upgraded all my items, I’ve reached the transcendence stage, but over the last month I spent 500,000 GP on trying to improve my items and failed every time. It seems as if you have to spend £££££ to finally transcend an item. I play for 3 hours to gain enough GP to try to transcend and guess what FAIL. Getting bored of this. There needs to be some explanation of how, why, what different things are. Is there a guide anywhere? Shouldn’t really need to read one after 3 years, but please help..Version: 5.0.6
