✓ OmgI’ve been playing this game since yesterday and it is already starting to get boring, being on this app is fun but I don’t understand how to put them to sleep or anything and also someone wanna explain why they always have yellow smoke coming out of the people? ✓ OkIt’s alright. I downloaded this game about 3 years ago. I played it and had a fun time, kinda reminds me of the Sims 3, but free to play and 2D. The thing is, your virtual family dies of starvation, thirst, boredom, etc if you don’t go on the game for at least a week. And it kind of creeps me out when it says with a notification “Unfortunately, your beloved family member ______ of the ______’s family felt something wrong after not being taken care of for many months. And then they had to pass away and die. In loving memory.” Or something for each family member. And also it takes about 2 hours to make a child in the game, and then it causes the child to be alone because the parents were elders by the time they were going to school, when they’ve only aged to like 15. My last complaint is that they age. Way. Too. Fast. So sometimes I’m gone for like 2 days, and the next time I get on the family member who used to be 12 is now 14, and the baby is now a toddler, and the parents are already grandparents. ✓ I love this game!I’ve been playing this game since I was young and I really love it! But, like a lot of other reviews, I do think the people could each move more unique. For example they could have different race and sexuality and you could change their hair and be able to mix and match outfits. I think it would be a bit ambitious but you could also have other houses and be able to go and see the people who have been giving you emails or go to the children’s school and college. Plus, they allways have the same hair! I’ve had so many people wi5 the exact same hairstyle and it’s kinda getting boring. And it’s super hard to get money other than adverts. I end up doing something else whist now and again playing the ads to get money. Finally, it gets super annoying when my characters are doing something -like preparing a meal- and if I want to move something around whilst they are doing it, they just come running and watch me arrange the furniture. And I can’t make them ignore me and keep doing what they were doing before, until I have finished moving stuff around! ✓ Wasn’t impressed when I lost my progressI had been playing this game for days and 2 of the children had gotten to go off to college ( twins ) I had got the parents at level 7 of there careers and still going forward with it, the house was getting there as far as it could until the second generation came into play, everything was running smooth I had everything I wanted at that time for the game to freeze and all I could do was come off the game and start again to find out, my whole game had disappeared for the game to start from the beginning again, I was so angry that I deleted this game, I like these kind of games but there’s not a lot of choice in it, you cannot change there names there’s not nursery nothing there needs to be improvement but you need to be able to make an account up and be able to make sure you don’t lose everything, I had spent as much time as I possible could building that family and home for it all to disappear and it wasn’t my phone either, please improve this game it is a lot of fun but I’m not going through all of that to lose it all again.Version: 1.7.4

Hi again, this is months later, and the rooms are too expensive! I’m saving up for a children’s room and I only have 4031 out of 9000! It’s ridiculous, also, my people (Zia and Epsilon) have a child called Balino, he has spiky blue hair everywhere! He should have ginger or brown because that’s the colour of his parents’ hair, and he was born, not adopted. And, every time when I watch a video, it freezes every other second, and I’m not exaggerating! It’s super annoying, please fix that too. And when it freezes, this creepy girl giggles and someone bites into an apple, but I can only hear it, it’s never happened before, now it is, but still a good game, I’m changing this title from: LOVE IT BUT… to: CONFUSING BUGS AND CREEPY NOISES! ✓ Things to make the game betterHi my name is Ariana, I’ve had this game for about four years and I just wanna say... I love it!!! I unlocked all the rooms and bought pretty much everything! The game is awesome because you get to decorate the house however you want. And you get to have a lot of kids and play it like a game of barbies! The only things that I don’t like about the game are that you can’t make more than six kids. And it was acting like she had deleted it and then got it back again.i am not over reacting. This is just not on. My daughter is only 5. ✓ Why the ad’s all of a sudden:(Stayed true to this app for year and years.. and I’m so sorry to say it’s finally fell into the ad trap like every other app. One of the main things I valued this game for was the the fact they had no involuntary ad’s! And now they do.. they also haven’t updated the ‘shop’/ what you can buy for your home in agessss.. and I also think once you’ve brought an interior design renovation (to change the style/colour of the kitchen/bathroom/workroom) you should be able to switch between them and the original. ✓ Items missingI was wondering if someone could help me!!! I recently downloaded this on my laptop and it wasn’t how I remembered it from playing it years back. There is a lot of stuff missing on my laptop app such as all the different colours of accessories for bedroom, living room and dining room. The office, kitchen and workshop colour upgrades are missing and I can’t even get the food bowls for my pets can anyone tell me why this is. ✓ HOW DO I STOP A LEAK???I was playing the game, and enjoying it, when suddenly the sink broke. I looked through all the game and couldn't find out how to stop it, I came to the conclusion of buying a new one but I couldn't buy a new sink so I tried to ignore it but when I tell the people to do something they wonder back to the sink and say ' the sinks leaking' . I would do a whole load of research on how to fix this but it is probably a waste of time as something like this will probably happen again Also, I find it annoying that when you have a child there is no telling when it's going to grow up, you can't put it in a crib, only the women can take care of it ( sexist) and you can't choose the child's name, I got stuck with a name I've never heard of (no offence if this is your name) Addresse or something like that. ✓ Love the game.. but need to create accountsPlease please please make it so that we can creat login accounts so that we can save our game and log in from any device and our progress isnt lost. Love the game. Been playing it for a while until one day suddenly my entire game erased right before my eyes. Have no idea why that happened and it sincerely angered me considering i had reached so far in the game and had to start over completely. If you guys created accounts for us to actually log in and out so our game is saved then that wouldn't be such a problem. ✓ Boring (Still)I downloaded this game again recently because I used to play it almost 10 years ago in middle school and I wanted to see if it had changed. It hasn’t. As far as I’m concerned, everything is the same except now you get ad pop ups. It’s nearly impossible to earn coins, but even if you have them, you can’t really buy anything because items are locked by the number of generations you have or there’s no room to put stuff because renovations are also locked. Time moves incredibly slow in the game. You can’t open the app and play for awhile because there’s pretty much nothing to do except check the yard for collectible items or make your parents have kids. You would think that after 10 years of a game existing some basic improvements would have been made to it. Yeah it’s for kids so as a now adult I wasn’t expecting much, but I even thought it was boring as a kid playing it. It’s fun at first but once you’re through the tutorial it is very repetitive. ✓ Fun but..There’s a lot I like about this game, but also a lot id change or add. What I love: I love that you don’t have to do everything for the family. Once you’ve praised them to do something, they’ll do it on their own. I love that the people send emails to me (the player) about how they’re feeling/what they want. The emails they receive are also entertaining to read! The game has tons of opportunities to watch ads throughout the day, which is a great way to earn money quicker. What id change: There isn’t much stuff available for furnishings, decorations, or upgrades for the first 2 or 3 generations so those ones can get incredibly boring. You don’t really start unlocking things until generation four, which does take a bit of time to get to. I also hate that once the parents die and you begin a new generation, you can only pick one sibling and the others basically drop off the face of the earth. It’d be really fun if they would visit, or at least email. ✓ Needs some work 😔Hello! I used to play this game a few years ago, so I decided to download. I was happy with my family but all I was waiting for was that email matchmaker thing (that gives you a wife/husband) so I could have children. The children are pretty much the only exciting thing in the game. It’s very hard to earn money and make your house look nice. After I had gotten 2 children, my favourite tv show came up with 5 new episodes! I watched them all, then on repeat. I also had to squeeze in time to finish my Nintendo switch game and eat. Then the next day I went onto my phone and onto virtual families 2. But I got many notifications saying my family had died and I had to start a new one. One day without caring for the family and they die. Ugh. This game is ok if you are willing to watch a tiny family wander about, get children, and eat for a whole day non stop. It’s clear that the only way to keep them alive is to be consistent while playing the game (not me at all) It’s also clear that they need to have more exciting things happen in the game! This game is fundamentally flawed on so many levels that I wonder if the designer is actually a child with absolutely no real world experience or comprehension of logic, progression or... I can’t... I tried my damnedest to find at least ONE redeeming quality but the game managed to let me down at every turn. It seems that someone just decided to slap together something quickly without any real thought or foresight just to see how many saps they could con into either paying directly to “play” or to view limitless ads. ✓ Blatantly racist. Disappointed but not surprisedI came back to this game years after playing as a young kid. And I think that nothing has changed. Which isn’t a compliment. I was unsurprised but disappointed to see that I couldn’t be someone of colour. Which is great because it seems every game I go to visit has absolutely no representation. Not only that but obviously you can’t be gay or a lesbian. Again; typical. Other than that, Gameplay is underwhelming and just boring. The god awful animation of sexual intimacy is abhorrent and scarring. I found myself being uncomfortable at how bad the “innuendo” was. It wasn’t even funny. Just- creepy. As well as the prompt of one of my characters wanting to wash his feet. That’s to be expected from a white washed simulator of course. The people who helped produce this waste of time are subject to being bad people. Furthermore; I regret redos loading this piece of garbage and hope that it stays a dead game. ✓ ISSUESI love this game and have it on 4 devices! it is really fun and i play it all the time. however i have recently discovered a few issues which is putting me off the game. first of all, the rooms are far too expensive! 45 thousand for the north room!!!!! ✓ It could be better.This game can easily occupy you for a short amount of time. I do enjoy this game but it can be much better. For an instance, have everything A LOT cheaper, It costs a ridiculous amount of money to get your house renovated, especially for how much our little people earn a day!! It would easily take up to a year at least to get all of the rooms fixed purely because of the prices... Another way to change the game better is if the kids who went off to college would visit, find out they got pregnant whilst away, more letters about new boyfriends, what they did for their birthdays, their problems, what they’re studying etc and also give notifications when they will visit so we could make the house neat and tidy for their arrival... In conclusion, you must lower the prices for home renovation and receive more letters from their kids and maybe get visits for a week or so, maybe with their children... if they have any yet....Version: 1.5.23

✓ Overall great but some bugsThe game itself is amazing, very fun to play. The downside being, that for some reason, the game keeps crashing and gets me completely out of the game. When I try to get back in it immediately does the same thing. ✓ Want to still love it…I’ve been playing Last Day of Work games since I was a kid, playing the original Virtual Villagers downloaded from Shockwave on my clunky old PC. I’ve played most of the VV and Virtual Families line up through the years and was elated to see they were available on iOS! This so far seems to be the only game I’ve had major issues with but the issues are unfortunately almost game breaking ranging from the incessant ads and inability to restore in app purchases. I’d played through this (and others) over the past few years and was happy to support the game with a few purchases (especially if that meant no ads) but now that I’m unable to restore what I paid for I’m bombarded with ads within 30 seconds of gameplay sometimes. The issue with restoring purchases is not limited to this game (another overlooked issue but they’re old games 🤷🏽♀️) but it’s most obvious here with the sheer amount of ads. Im not privy to spend my money again on in-app purchases I already bought especially seeing reviews of people who paid and received nothing. It’s sad to see Last Day of Work sell out this way but it wasn’t unexpected considering how greedy tech & life in general have become. I just wish I could still enjoy this game..Version: 1.7.12

✓ OkayI really do enjoy playing this game but then today I go to play it and my game starts bugging out. Like I went in bought my family of 5 some groceries and then the game kicks me out and I go back in and it says that I have to restart the game!! I was on my 10th generation so it really made me mad!! But I have some suggestions for future reference. 1. Diversity, I don’t want to play with just white people I want a different skin colored family. As well as not just straight parents like have 2 dads or moms and have them adopt kids. 2. Naming, I want to be able to name my babies and not have a weird name given to them. 3. Genetics, I want what the parents look like to reflect on the children. I don’t want my parents to both have brown hair and then my kid have red or blue hair. 4. Divorcing, not every family is perfect so I think that you should have the ability to divorce and then remarry. 5. Going places with your little people. Can the parents have cars and places to go on real dates and grocery attire instead of online dating where the person you just met becomes your husband or wife in an instant. ✓ Need a lot of improvementI like this game there is so much to do but.. when u leave them over night while u are sleeping they become really sick and hungry and it takes ages and costs a lot to regain their strength or if u aren’t playing it constantly all the time your characters become depressed and can even die also money is quite hard to get and everything cost a lot and sometimes when I’m watching an ad when the ad finishes my game glitches out and I don’t get the reward and when u want the characters to do something when u drag them to do it they will do something else and some tasks can take a really long time and u don’t know when they’re going to be finished because there is nothing to tell u that, the pets are pretty useless all they do walk around and when u tap the food bowl and eat the food and sometimes they pay with the characters, if u could leave the house to do things like go shopping, go to the cinema and take kids to school because just waiting in the house all the time is pretty boring.Version: 1.6.1

✓ I’m poor and family keeps dying.So I downloaded this game and it was great. I had about 4 kids first time and learned from my mistakes in the game like that one. It soon came to my attention it was hard to earn money and buy food. I’m a bit impatient so I’m not going watch a bunch of adds for a few coins. I got about 25 coins through an email and then had that taken away from me so I was left poor. One more thing to mention is they keep dying for no reason. My characters status mentioned nothing about any sort of illness or depression and they had 300 food. And guess what. THEY DIED!! I mean what the heck.
