✓ Updated.But annoyed that it updated and has made everything 10x harder to unlock. I have to unlock a character that yesterday I could but now I have to literally get 1900 reputation when I’m at 1600. This is ridiculous and has made me literally just not play it anymore..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Main story incomplete and to shortIn about a month I’ve run out of quests and have all of the furniture upgrades. The main story is at a standstill. While I appreciate the pride update it still doesn’t really give me a reason to open the app? There’s no new quests or furniture sets for all areas so it looks like I’ll only be opening it once a day to claim the stored tips..Version: 1.0.9

✓ Beautiful game hungry for ad time and real moneyThe art style is beautiful. I love all the characters that come visit and it's always a delight to see a new one. Bizarrely, given this advertises itself as an idle game, most of the idle mechanics barely do anything. The sheer amount of time (or real money) required to have this thing do anything is absurd. It's so hungry for ads it's absurd. You'll spend your hard earned acorns on an upgrade that then doesn't work without an ad, and don't worry! It then operates for less time than the ad ran! For me what made me give up was unlocking the character who picks up cash for you, except they don't. And then finally unlocking the character who serves customers. Except he doesn't. He barely does anything. You have to watch an ad to fill the restaurant and then you do all the work. It's like they do nothing at all. It's just garbage. Overall, It's just Sorta rubbish to play. ✓ Very cuteThis game is very cute and I love the shading and art style! While the gameplay is also nice and the story is too, this game is very similar to Animal Restaurant. It’s a game I play made by a different developer. The chef’s names are similar(Campfire Cat Cafe: Chef Gino)(Animal Restaurant: Chef Gumi), the gameplay is also similar, where one of the customers have a speech bubble with the food it wants, and you tap on it and the customer gets the food it wants(if you have it). And you tap on a button and it gives you a catalogue of what you can and can’t buy/what you have already. And you use food as currency. You can also buy furniture and place it by buying it in the catalogue and tap on the place you want it to be in. Umm.. SUS anyways umm I didn’t play this game any further but Cat Spa is also very similar to this game.. and.. get this.. Animal Restaurant So yea it’s kinda sus but it’s very cute.Version: 1.0.5
✓ No story conclusion?Great game, super cute and fun! The end is just super unsatisfying. The plot is heavy in the tutorial but after you unlock the last area, there’s no motivating story whatsoever and you’re left at a cliff hanger. I also wish that abilities with cooldowns showed when they were active or cooling down. Instead of just randomly happening..Version: 1.1.1
✓ BEWARE!! Game breaks and support won’t help fix it…I was really enjoying this game. The story is interesting, the art is super cute, and the music and overall vibe is very pleasant and relaxing. The main game loop is simple but satisfying and the characters are so charming. I was having a good time playing until the game just suddenly broke on about Day 3 or 4 of playing. One day when I opened the game, I suddenly had a lot of reputation, money, furniture, etc. and was way further along in the game than I should have been - it was like I had been playing for weeks or months rather than a few days. I wasn’t sure what to think of it, so I tried to continue forward in the game (in the Sanctuary which shouldn’t have been accessible for me yet) and now it just freezes on that one screen whenever I try to play. I reached out to support a couple of times and haven’t heard back, so I haven’t been able to play for WEEKS. I’ve seen a couple of other reviews with this same issue, so it seems there’s some glitch or problem that’s not being addressed. It’s unfortunate because it seems like a lot of people who want to continue to play and enjoy the game are going to have to delete it if this issue keeps up. Hope this gets solved soon or to hear something back from support so that I can keep playing..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Just read to know!🩷So this game is ok it started off boring but I would recommend playing it. It just takes some time for me to get into the game only because it is a process and you have to try to be patient. I did not really enjoy it just because of the wait and others do but this is just my opinion On the other side of that I feel like you have to give it a try like I did I just trusted the reviews and it turns out that I didn’t really enjoy the game. ✓ I enjoy the game just a tad under stimulatingI was looking for three things in a cafe game, cuteness/aesthetics, pretty art and music (especially of the food), and stimulation, not being left with nothing to do. The first two things I was looking for got gold starts, they are perfects. The third thing is the only thing it lacks. It’s fun for like 10 minutes and then it just becomes a form of grinding which is just too little dopamine. Another thing is the ads, I don’t mind ads but the ads that are there tend to be quite inappropriate. Like I got an ad showing a niece trying to get with her uncle, so not good. I’m not sure if game devs have control over what ads are being put into their games but because this game is targeted towards children I figured I would at least try and spread awareness of the fact that there are highly inappropriate ads on this game..Version: 1.2.2
✓ High quality art and music but low quality game playThe art, music, characters and dialogues are pretty good. The overall style is very good. Gameplay is minimalistic, would keep a 3 year old entertained maybe. The game is more like a cartoon for kids where episodes are timegated by how many times you are able to click on the screen and how many ads you are willing sit through. I feel that the creators would be very successful if they drew comics on any social media platform. And sell merchandise based on their characters rather than trying to turn their stories into a game. ✓ Don’t play this - Treat Yourself BetterI promise you, you have played this exact same game before, perhaps with a slightly different art style but nonetheless. There is nothing particularly special about this game compared to others, especially for not only not having a clean way to remove of ads, but hiding the ability to remove specific ads behind different 20 dollar purchases - so if you theoretically wanted to play without the lingering presence of ads you’d have to pay nearly a triple A’s worth of money, and that’s ignoring all the other micro transactions that linger. I don’t care if they’re 12x value or whatever when there is no other option to get those resources. Just don’t waste your time on this, it’s not bad persay it’s just an absolute nothing of a game, and sometimes that’s worse.Version: 1.2.0

✓ Pretty good, but…This game is really fun and I personally ended up playing it for hours. I was browsing on the AppStore looking up ‘fun cat cafe games’ when I found this. The app had PRETTy good reviews so I downloaded it and it was really fun at first… but after playing it for 3 or 4 days it sort of got a bit boring I mean it was just the same thing over and over again and it took me a rlly long time to collect acorns, and there wasn’t much new things to do or unlock once I finished the bakery. Though, getting to the Sanctuary as kept me motivated, and I just wanted to say that the game could use some sparks here and there and new updates to keep the users motivated throughout the came. But, over all, I love this game so much and it is very fun and all and I advise you to download it. :).Version: 1.1.0

✓ Adore it but so blocked by pay wallsI’ve been playing this game obsessively since I found it on the App Store, I love the gameplay, the art style and the characters. The problem is there are so many mechanics that include ad skips and/or payments to avoid or pass it. I understand this in moderation but the prices are high as well and the fact is the amount you can play the game is reliant on how much you’ve spent or how many ads you’ve watched. I’m especially annoyed after discovering that the “gold fish pass” that allows some extra rewards and some specific ad skips, it cost $22.99 and as I’ve just realised only lasts for about 13 days. That is a ridiculous amount of money for the privilege to temporarily skip a few sets of ads for about two weeks. The promote isn’t favourable enough to the player, Oliver’s auto promote can only be accessed avoiding ads either with the very limited skip tickets or by making another purchase of about $30 to skip the ads however he still needs from what I can tell about an hour or so to build up energy to promote again, or you can use gems. Another relatively rare item with lots of options for purchase. There’s problems with the lantern special event where the lanterns are spawned behind usable items or sprites that deny access to them which is obviously not such a huge issue but definitely something that should be fixed since it’s again another hard to get item and a time sensitive event, you get a pretty fine amount of lanterns but the rewards demand a LOT of farming for them unless you, again, want to make more side purchases. The point is most of these I could have just looked aside but I am honestly so shocked about the gold pass that I felt the need to write this review. A GAME IS NO LONGER FREE IF THE AMOUNT YOU CAN ACCESS AND PLAY THE GAME IS DEPENDENT ON HOW MUCH MONEY YOU SPEND. I adore this game I love it and enjoy playing it so much but these prices and ads are greedy and ridiculous..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Boring!This game has a great soundtrack—why they wasted such lovely music on a game you really can’t play for more than 2 minutes a day makes no sense. The ‘story’ is flat, boring, and not there. The ‘mini-games’ are purposely coded to not accept input so as to give you the worst results possible in an attempt to get you to spend actual money—but why? There’s no story, there’s nothing that would actually happen even if you did ‘progress’?? This has to the most boring idle game I’ve ever tried—there is nothing for you to do!.Version: 1.1.0
✓ Cute but ads can get insaneThis cute little game is a perfect mash up of animal crossing and animal restaurant. While they art style and music are top notch, but the gameplay is so limited. I knew it was going to be an idle game going in but I didn’t think it would hardcore limit how much I could actually play. They taps to promote have to refill at the rate of 1 per 2 minutes.. which I can tap through 40 of those in maybe a minute. Then every aspect of the game is “hey watch an ad to make this better”. Which is sometimes to be expected but I found myself opening the app to watch ads for about 5 minutes and then actually play for maybe a minute or 2. To make matters worse, some of these ads play for 45 seconds or just struggle to load until it gives you an error. It’s a cute game for a day or two but I don’t want my fun silly downtime at work to be just waiting through ads..Version: 1.1.1
